The price-quality ratio is not good. I had tuna tataki, it tasted tough and there wasn't much garnish. Otherwise, the food was good.

Wow, this place has deteriorated. Asking for a menu repeatedly and eventually after 30 minutes we are told that the kitchen is busy (almost empty when we arrived). Inefficient, arrogant and obnoxious staff. Never again!

We had a delicious meal and drinks at lunch. Good service and everything was to our liking. It was still quiet in terms of the number of visitors.

Reserved on an ad hoc basis. Just made it. We are familiar with the new menu, so three dishes from the 'share' options went quickly. Starters included a small bread roll with two delicious dipping sauces. After that, we focused on the eel appetizer, the chicken thighs, and the beef with cheese. A superb experience! A very chic and beautifully decorated restaurant. The waiter was very friendly and attentive, chatting with us briefly in French about his travels in France. He was very kind and funny. For our meal, he recommended the chicken Romano. We trusted his recommendation, and it was delicious. Addition to my previous review: Instead of simply taking responsibility after a major blunder, you choose to publicly attack a customer. This not only makes you look completely ridiculous, but also confirms exactly what's wrong: as soon as someone expresses dissatisfaction, you're impossible to reason with. Hats off. Having to wait an insanely long time for the food. Then they only give the excuse that it's busy and don't think about solutions. The discussion with the waiter was the straw that broke the camel's back for me. Never again.

Daarmee zet je jezelf niet alleen volledig voor gek, maar bevestig je ook exact wat er mis is: zodra iemand aangeeft ontevreden te zijn, valt er met jullie niet te praten. Chapeau. Achterlijk lang moeten wachten op het eten. Vervolgens alleen maar het excuus geven dat het druk is en niet denken in oplossingen. De discussie met de ober was voor mij de emmer die de druppel liet overlopen. Voor mij nooit meer.

Had lunch here today. Thought it was a bit pricey. 14.50 for a foccacia tuna melt. No garnish. 2 slices of bread with 2 croquettes. Also no garnish. 11.50. It was tasty, a bit frugal though.

Nice place to have a drink and a drink

I love chilling here. Drinks are great, service can be improved but they do their best, because sometimes it's just crazy busy.

Service was a bit short, the manager was very friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant although it was sometimes difficult to understand each other, there was little light to read the menu card properly, but the food was so very salty, my family who had a hamburger, fish and chips and satay all indicated that they were very thirsty when they got home.

Op een van de eerste zonnige dagen van dit jaar gezellig op het terras zitten bij Boca? Niet voor iedereen. Ik wilde rond 15.00 uur met mijn twee kleinkinderen plaatsnemen aan een vrije tafel. Maar in no time kwam de ober aanlopen om te vertellen dat deze tafel niet vrij was. Er stond geen bordje ‘gereserveerd’ op de tafel. Ik vroeg of er dan misschien een ander tafeltje voor ons beschikbaar was. ‘Nee, mevrouw, sorry’, zei de ober, zonder op of om te kijken. Bij het weglopen, zag ik zelf nog enkele vrije tafels zonder bordje ‘gereserveerd’. Toen maar plaatsgenomen bij het naastgelegen Barista café. Daar werden we hartelijk ontvangen. En vanaf die plek kon ik zien dat de vrije tafels bij Boca nog steeds vrij waren toen wij weer weggingen bij Barista. Een vreemde ervaring om geweigerd te worden op een terras. Nooit meer naar Boca, dat is duidelijk.

Waar Natasja de manager heel droog op reageert dat dit normaal is want in alle restaurants zo is. Niet de eerste keer btw. Voor onze bedrijven deze plek nooit meer. Jammer want als ze aan de klantonvriendelijkheid en de muizen wat doen, best een aardig plekje. Maar ieder zijn prio.

They have set up a good concept. Not a large space with only tables but various parts. It didn't feel like it was busy. A good choice is the open kitchen. Then the food. We always try the satay first because it is a base. If it's not good, you can forget the rest. But don't worry, they did a good job. Nice and tender meat and good fries. That makes us happy. A little bit of satay sauce but it was just enough. It's a shame that the choice of desserts was a bit limited. The service is smooth and they know what they are doing. The customers were of all ages, a sign that you are doing well for everyone. We are looking forward to summer because there is plenty of furniture outside. Then the question is whether it is recommended. The answer is a complete yes. We will definitely come back and try other food. But that will be fine

Had a surprise dinner for my grandpa's birthday yesterday at Boca. The staff was friendly, every interaction was fun and full of laughter! Food was great as always. I come here for dinner regularly and it never disappoints. This time there were 11 of us and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The cocktails are honestly the best I've ever had. And the staff also arranged something nice for my grandfather for dessert without us asking. Can absolutely recommend everyone to come here for dinner or a drink! We were a bit early. But we came far. Because of parent evening at school. I think the owner... received us kindly. We noticed that he is at home here and knows how to serve the guests. The dishes were really excellent. If we have to take a while again because of parent evening school, we will definitely go back!

Had dinner with a group of 15 people. Were kindly helped. We received an antipasti board in advance, which was really big. And good! Main courses were good and the grand dessert was also delicious. Recommended!

Atmosphere and sound (acoustics) are fine, prices (especially the wine) are on the high side, staff puts menus on the table (does not hand them out). There is little eye contact with the staff during dinner. Food was missing for a while. When it came it was for 5 people and 2 people had to wait another 10 minutes. We could therefore choose from 5 people to eat hot and then 2 or 5 people to eat lukewarm and 2 people to eat hot. All in all a satisfactory result, but there are areas for improvement. I would eat there again, but with a maximum of 4 people.

Food was okay but sparse and expensive. Avocado brood is one slice of bread with half an avocado on it and a bit of tomato + burrata for ~13 euro. The bread was quite packed, so they better could have done 2 slices. Vegetarian options are quite sparse as well. Service took quite some time, even without the cafe being at high capacity and when asked for water for the dog they said it's no problem but then did not bring any.

Super tasty meal, salad with grilled chicken and tarragon dressing. Man man, what a tasty party that was! I only found it very noisy because it was quite busy. I also just couldn't sit comfortably (I'm very tall), but that could also have been due to where we were sitting. All in all highly recommended!

Very cozy tent at the Rond in Houten. Easily accessible by train. Full house and cozy atmosphere on Friday evening. We were served very enthusiastically and really felt like guests. Food in accordance with the tapas concept, approximately €50 pp incl. dessert, coffee and bottle of wine for four people. Points of interest: it was quite noisy. Furthermore, I am never that enthusiastic when restaurants promote bottled water, unnecessary in the Netherlands with our delicious tap water, expensive and in the end I drank too little and I went home with a dry mouth.
