Last Friday we dined at La Boca Grande in Eindhoven, and honestly, we haven't had such a great restaurant experience in a long time. From the moment we walked in, everything felt right. The service was truly excellent: friendly, attentive, and clearly enjoying their work. You could tell they work incredibly hard here and that the guest is truly the priority. The food was fantastic. Surprising, full of flavor, and absolutely unique. Every dish was a feast, and we genuinely enjoyed everything that was served. From start to finish, we had a wonderful evening. If we may mention one minor drawback: we were sitting outside, and it was a bit chilly. But that doesn't detract from the overall experience. In short: a fantastic, successful evening. Many restaurants could learn a thing or two from this. We will definitely be back soon. Keep up the good work!

Last Wednesday, four of us had dinner here and it was so delicious! The service was good, and they were very helpful if you had any questions. The chicken quesadilla is definitely recommended! Cocktails are served in nice glasses, which adds a special touch. I mentioned it was someone's birthday, and the table was nicely decorated. We had a great evening here! If you like Mexican food, you should definitely go here.

Unfortunately, it was disappointing. Small things, but all in all, it makes me want to eat somewhere else next time. The food isn't bad, but some dishes are a bit pricey for what you get. It started with a glass of cola that the English-speaking lady dumped on you because walking around the table seemed too much trouble. It happens. When ordering, I was politely asked if I wanted bread with herb butter. Please. When the starter was finished, I asked where the bread was. The young man went to the kitchen and returned a little later. Bread was gone. Too bad, don't offer it then. The side dishes, ordered later, arrived before the main course, and after half an hour I asked where the rest was. It was a mistake to tell them; they were going to make the main course right away. Apparently, the order was still there. I ordered drinks in between, which took quite a while. A bottle of water for the entire table is only 0.5 L. Then comes the bill, which also shows the bread that's gone. The staff will have to call about this. The interior is nicely decorated. Date: Sat. 08-11-2025

It's not just food, it's an experience. Together with another couple, we had an incredibly delicious Mexican meal here at Boca Grande in Eindhoven! We were very impressed and have decided to come back again :) From the street, the restaurant isn't very noticeable, but as soon as you step through the front door, you notice the decor is incredibly well-designed. This is evident not only in the restaurant itself, but also in the staff! Enthusiasm and passion just radiate from them! If there's room, I definitely recommend checking out the secret garden when the weather is nice. Because of the heat, we didn't need it, but for the slightly colder nights, there are blankets and heaters available to keep your evening cozy. The cocktails are delicious and reasonably priced, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Check out the photos and see for yourself! In my opinion, a gem in Eindhoven :)

Although the food was fantastic, despite the staff being very friendly the service was extremely slow, our orders were mixed up and we were seated in a semi-open backend of the restaurant which got very cold since there was not adequate outdoor heating.

The food is great and the staff are friendly. However, our recent experience was disappointing. We specifically booked an early dinner at 17:30 with our baby, hoping for a quick and easy meal. ​Despite being one of the first tables seated, we waited over 30 minutes for our starters, which we finished in just 5 minutes. The main course took another 40 minutes, and we noticed several tables that arrived after us received their food first. ​This isn't the first time we've experienced a long wait here, but this time was particularly disappointing because our baby became frustrated after an hour of waiting. Additionally, the music inside is quite loud, making conversation difficult and adding to the overall sensory overload, especially during a long wait. While we enjoy the food, it's clear this is not a place well-suited for families with young children due to the slow service and loud atmosphere.​

Cozy atmosphere, the decor is truly breathtaking. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for sharing tapas. A truly wonderful experience! We'll definitely be back!

Delicious food, friendly staff and really nice atmosphere

Caught my eye when I was looking for something to eat after arriving in Eindhoven, and I couldn't have gotten more lucky. The food is some of the best Mexican style I've had the pleasure to try in years, maybe even my entire life. The chicken wrap and the quesadilla are a must-try. There are also some options with a local twist, like the dama blanca dessert, which I also highly recommend. The food all arrived super fast, the atmosphere is very cosy, and the staff show the legendary Dutch hospitality. I will certainly be coming back.

The Mexican tartare was delicious and surprising, the quesadilla well-balanced, but the taco beef was a bit less exciting due to the dominant flavor of the meat. All in all, it is highly recommended. Appearance & Ambience: The restaurant is attractively decorated, both inside and in the cozy backyard. The decoration and music perfectly match the concept. Service: We arrived with six people and asked if we could sit outside. Because the patio was full, we were given a spot in the backyard. The service was friendly, attentive, and helpful, both when taking our order and clearing the table. They also regularly asked if everything was still alright. Food: For my starter, I chose the Mexican tartare, a fresh and flavorful twist on the classic version. The main course consisted of a share of the chicken quesadilla and taco beef. The quesadilla was a good portion and had a nice balance of flavors. The taco was fine, but a little less surprising; the beef flavor was a bit too overpowering for my taste.

authentically mexican - latin music, colourful atmosphere and very friendly staff :) the food also seems authentic - the grill platter for two is like a colourful work of art and the meat is wonderfully seasoned and cooked.

This is a really nice restaurant - they have been able to catch a lot of the authentic Mexican spirit with music, food, and interior. We had a really good time. I can highly recommend it.

Wanted to eat something unique and found this great mexican restaurant. The staff was really welcoming and kind with everything. The food was also really good and the music was amazing as well.

Delicious menu. Service-oriented staff. Homely atmosphere.

Over expensive for what it offers. Not Mexican food - not even texmex. The quesadilla was not recognizable. The tortillas did not look or taste like were made of corn, as they should. For the price of the burrito and the tacos, I expected grilled meat (at least like tacos al pastor), not minced meat. The sauces (aioli and spicy mayo) were not what you expect with Mexican food - something like pico de gallo or guacamole. At least to make us full, the dishes come with a lot of fries. Lastly, the dessert was good, but again nothing mexican.

Today for the 2nd time the tuna. I asked the owner if he would make it himself and he asked me if I wanted it raw again. Great, that he still knew that from me, and yes, make this great tuna raw. Rogier in the kitchen knew how to prepare this (saku red tuna) perfectly and I made it clear that this is really sashimi worthy cooking. Top chef (was not the first time also the chef) and learned well from the first small mistake. Combination with the great red wine (yes red) made the evening completely top.

Very good place! Company celebration dinner was here with the team. Oh gosh. The dinner was amazing 😍🤩! Staff was very nice and helpful! Toilet is clean! Authentic enough! Mexico is here! Did I mentioned the food?! You need to try it! 💪💯 Yeah we drunk some bottles of fine wine too, so it was expensive. 😁

I don't often give reviews, but I had a very nice evening here. The atmosphere is good, the staff very nice and service-oriented. And last but not least, the food was very tasty! The Picaña is especially recommended.

Lovely waiters and great food. I'm definitely coming again to try out more. We had beef tartar, burrito, veal and pork belly. The cocktails were very strong, so be careful since they also give you a complimentary shot with your receipt 😅

Stopped by for food before a concert and came back for a drink after the concert. very cozy atmosphere, nicely decorated, and delicious food. We were served both times by Emily, who helped us very well! Definitely recommended and worth repeating!

Fantastic food! Wow, this was so fun and delicious. We chose the 3-course shared dinner menu and were surprised. Beautifully prepared dishes, delicious flavors and very varied. In addition, a very attractive restaurant and the friendliest service, which was really striking and felt very welcome. Finally: the two of us were seated at a 4-person table. And enough space between tables. A relief now that more and more restaurants are practically putting two people on each other's laps in tight rows. Now you had privacy and you could just talk without your and your neighbors' conversations getting mixed up. Top restaurant, top service, highly recommended! We will come back again 😃

Great Mexican cuisine. For people who like varied street food, for example. Various dishes such as tacos, nachos, pork belly, in short tapas. Definitely recommended! P.S. I haven't had better nachos anywhere.

In analogy, you have pizzerias and you have Italian restaurants, you have taco/tortilla/fajita places and you have Boca Grande. What a relief to be introduced to non-standard and Dutch Mexican cuisine. The welcome was very warm, the service attentive and friendly, the food delicious. We opted for the shared dining plank. Every dish was surprising and delicious! The point of criticism is the drink prices, €6 for a regular beer, even 0.0 was at this price. Come on, you don't need that at all with this quality kitchen! The bill went way up towards the share of the drinks, and we really didn't do anything crazy at all, on the contrary. I would like to come back again to taste more of the menu, but the drink prices seriously make me hesitate...

We had a very good evening. We took the mix platter for 2 people. There are different meats, salads, grilled vegetables and potatoes cooked in different ways. Everything is very good especially the meat is cooked very well, some melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is very charming and warm.

Food is good, service good Had a grand dessert 3 x 1150 pp, there was nothing grande about 1 bowl with 3 scoops of ice cream, two not too large brownies and 1 tiny cheesecake, that's why we won't go back, that's really not okay, for almost 35 euros you get very large containers but you can hardly put anything in them.

Delicious food with good service, definitely recommended. We had the Mexican mixed grill and enjoyed every bite.

To start with: the food was tasty and the plates were beautifully presented. The portions were very large, especially the starters and side dishes, which are a whole meal in themselves. In addition, we found the restaurant very noisy, which made it difficult for us to hear each other and had to speak loudly. We also had to wait a long time (more than an hour) for our main course. Employees were friendly and helpful.

Popped in solo on a Sunday evening, no problem getting a table. I tried the Mojito's and they were great. I ordered Beef tacos, salad and cheesy wedges, the tacos came first and I think they forgot to bring the salad and wedges, but were super polite about it. The salad was awesome, pomegranates, tomato, lettuce and a nice dressing too. Cheesy wedges were also excellent and it was a very enjoyable meal, pretty good value too.

Food didn't arrive in a tolerable time gap

We had a delicious meal here. The restaurant was completely full so it was a good thing we made a reservation in advance. The service was friendly and also super fast. We had chosen to share tapas Mexico. This is highly recommended because you can taste several dishes. I would definitely come back here if I'm in the area again!

Fantastic experience, very delicious tacos

Visited for Valentine’s Day and had a very pleasant experience! They had a special 3-course tapas dinner incl. 1 glass of bubble wine for 50€ per person. It included a big variety of things and flavours (like soup, taco’s, tortillas, meat, and more) and the amount was more than enough for each person. They also had live music which gave a very nice atmosphere! The service was very friendly, smiley and fast. Overall great experience! We’ll definitely come back to try their regular menu.

Everything is good about this place other than the food they serve. None of the items including Quesadillas and tacos we ordered were authentic. Sad to experience this as we spend quite an amount of money. I never knew I would be fooled and sold Mexican food which had lumps of mayonnaise dumped on each and every dish. Not a Mexican food expert but have had much better experience anywhere else but here.

There was nothing “fine” about the food at this place. Adding a couple spoons of corn doesn’t make it Mexican. Absolutely not worth the price. What’s with the mayonaise on everything ? When did mayonaise become part of the Mexican cuisine ? This was not even close to Mexican. Atleast the ambience and service were good.

What a wonderful experience! Had dinner here with friends this weekend and it exceeded all our expectations. We were received very kindly by the owner and immediately felt welcome. We ordered delicious mocktails and 2-course tapas to share and were allowed to decide for ourselves whether we wanted to expand that with a dessert later. Everything came quickly and was equally tasty and beautifully prepared. We were also kindly asked when we wanted the next course. The staff is very attentive and there is a very good atmosphere, you can tell that they really enjoy working here. We will definitely come back here again!

Visiting Netherlands with my family and just happen to eat from here. I never had such good cocktails before. The staff was very polite too. The whole vibe was a new experience.

Nice place but the food has dropped in quality since a couple years ago. The tartare was exceptionally well made earlier but today's experience was less beef and more sauces :( Most of our dishes were all sauce-heavy and not fun. Hope they get their charm back, it used to be a great place.

In one word WOW! The Christmas menu was sublime! We have not often eaten such a tasty Picanha. Everything was perfect! You can see that this menu has been prepared with heart and soul. Nice work! Highly recommended for those who have not yet discovered this restaurant! You'll see us again soon.

Delicious food, friendly service and affordable

We went to Boca with friends for Saturday dinner. Let's start with the service: at the beginning our waitress was very rude, no one greeted us at the entrance and seated us, we had to go all the way to the end to ask the waiter for a table, we waited 20 minutes for our drinks in an empty room and we didn't get a spoon for the soup. As for the food, it was very good, but the portions were a joke. I think that 2 tacos that a 12-year-old child wouldn't eat at the price of 20€ is too much. Unfortunately, we left 180€ for 4 people and left hungry... I do not recommend it, despite the good taste, this dinner was not worth the price, we will never recommend it to anyone and we will never come back.

Delicious quesadillas and cocktails, nice atmosphere and great service! The staff was friendly and when we had to wait a while for our table we were given a free drink as compensation. A very good experience!

Celebrated my birthday at home on Sunday with 35 guests, Boco Grande provided dinner. In the run-up we already had pleasant contact about the contents of the dinner, on the day itself the food was delivered perfectly on time and at a good temperature. And then we enjoyed a delicious meal and 35 very satisfied partygoers, what more could you want 👍 Boco Grande thank you very much

The food is fine, but the service is terrible. After 15 minutes we motioned to the waiter to order, we had to wait 10-15 minutes for drinks. While we were early (<6:00 PM), I finally went to pay at the bar after 8 minutes (the receipt did not arrive) and did not receive an overview of our orders when paying by card, the card machine was immediately handed over. I won't be coming back here again. Shame. 2 people on a Saturday, early.

What a nice place to sit with company! Super attractive garden, nice temperature and the cocktails in combination with the food were really great! Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food, the tapas deluxe was really tasty and very tasty. Perhaps a bit too large portions for us, you are really full, but that's debatable. Ate here yesterday... Reception is great and friendly. We had initially reserved elsewhere, but after reading reviews we quickly looked for something else. Staff is AMAZING. The nachoos beforehand are even more amazing. Just the way we make it. Then we ordered the main course. There were mega small plates... Were just starters... Sooooo small. I missed the mashed potatoes. It was finally achieved, but by then it was almost gone. Sauce is promised. The sauce is a very thin line... They don't know salt and pepper. We eat at the neighbors at least 8 times a year. And wanted a different experience for once... Hoping for a new favorite. Although it wasn't bad, it was just way too little for way too expensive, we won't be back. We got food around the corner from the wok. Very unfortunate because the staff and atmosphere deserve the 5 stars. But salt-free food (no salt on the table) Portions for someone with a stomach reduction. It makes us give this score, despite the GREAT nachoos as a starter, we will not come back.
