From the east of the country to Eindhoven; a day of sightseeing in our own country. We made a reservation a few days in advance (and it was a good thing too, because it was busy). And now we know why it was busy. What warm-hearted people work here. Everyone on the staff was incredibly friendly. And the food was perfect. As true Greece lovers (Crete), we felt like we were back on our favorite island (except for the cold Dutch weather, of course 😉). A delicious ouzo on the house—a welcome warm-up after a cold day. The tzatziki was a delicious start. My wife had the salmon and loved it. I had the thrakiotiko. What a delicious veal! Super tender and incredibly flavorful. For dessert, we had our favorite Greek dessert: galaktoboureko, and it was, in a word, fantastic. The portions were also more than enough. Thank you for this delicious end to a wonderful day in your beautiful city.

Delicious food, friendly service. Good value for money. We made a reservation beforehand as it was quite busy on Sunday.

Very good restaurant and one of the only places that I could find a proper size salad in Eindhoven. Good food, good wine, cozy atmosphere and very welcoming stuff. Again I was so glad that I could find a salad in Eindhoven.

Slow cooked veal was very mild, smooth and tender. Onions were perfectly caramelized and gave great sweetness and flagrant in the sauce. Together with slow cooked veal. It was excellent. Warm starter Liver was great in how it was cooked. Not too old too chewy. However, I took aways one star because of the hepatic fascia were not removed, otherwise, it can be excellent. Calamari was oke. It could be from frozen. Squid meat itself were a bit soft. Batter coat were a bit too soft and greasy. Can be better to raise up the fry oil temperature a bit when deep fry. Service was excellent. Politeness, warm hearted and quick. We didn't make a reservation in up front. But they were able to repare a table quickly. Very kind. Atmosphere wise, it was spacious. Good distance in between tables. Was easy to talk.

After not being given a table, we were finally given one. Then we were forgotten... and they made distinctions between guests. We were offered ouzo on the house, but guests weren't asked. The meat didn't seem authentic, but factory-made. Too bad for these prices...

We asked for a table for four late on a Saturday. We were able to get in an hour later. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. The staff were friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Had a very bad experience here! It was quite insulting. We were a party of 4 including my parents. We weren’t too hungry and only wanted taste a few assortment of appetisers so we could also try other cuisines that night. We ordered two appetisers with a main course and some drinks, but we were told that this isn’t enough food for four persons and they couldnt serve us till we reached the minimum order. Even after ordering four appetisers they mentioned that we have to order two mains. This was quite strange! We just left as we did not wish to succumb to this pressure and absurd rule. Would not recommend.

That was my first time in Lithos and I super surprised that how I have not come to this great restaurant before. Very good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, tasteful cuisine - everything in one place. First we picked a starter set with cold and warm starters, then continued with Lithos plate which has many meat and fish varieties and a good option for 2 people. To be honest, it was too much. Portions are very big and I recommend you yo skip starters if you go for Lithos plate. My daughter picked calamars kids menu which she liked very much. For drink, we tasted a Greek white wine with amber. Nice to taste to see how amber giving the aroma. After meal, we had a very good coffee offered. I will definitely go back to Lithos for this delicious experience.

Great food, good atmosphere and service

The bifteki was the best I've ever had at a Greek restaurant. The gyros was mediocre.

While the food was good, I have never seen such a bad organization of the waiters. We have been asked 4 times 0for our orders after actually ordering our food. Waiters came to our table with drinks that were not ours and we found out at the end there was a complementary welcome ouzo that was not given to us. Last, but not least when we asked to split the bill we were told that we had to pay the extra charge of 1,5 euro. I find that charging the customer for this service is low class.

The food is delicious, the service is very good. But the food is extremely slow. We arrived at 7:00 PM, the first course arrived at 8:00 PM, and the second course at 9:15 PM. We left after 10:00 PM.

It remains my favorite Greek restaurant. On the pricier side, so it's a special occasion restaurant for me, but always good.

Our second time here. Once again, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious! We had delicious appetizers and main courses. We love it, and the portions (mixed grill and rhodos) were more than enough. Highly recommended!

First time here. We were among the first customers and were seated, which was very friendly, by the way! And everyone was very friendly! We also took some photos inside, which was also very nice to sit in, but in summer weather, the terrace would be especially nice. Ouzo was offered beforehand, the food was taken quickly, and the food itself was very tasty 👍. Everything had a lovely grilled flavor (I had the Rhodes dish). The gyros was a bit overcooked sometimes, but that wasn't a problem, also delicious. The salmon with Cretan pasta was also delicious. It was a good experience, and we would definitely return 👍

The food was delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly; the maitre d came to our tables to check if everything was alright. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Second time I’ve been to this restaurant. The food was really good but unfortunately the service and atmosphere were not. Service was slow but it was expected because the place was packed. We spend 110 euros for two people. At the end we asked if we can have some of the food to go because there was left over. The waiter brought us a container and asked us to pack it ourselves. Never seen such a behaviour! Didn’t know that a place that serves gyros and fries would have a problem packing left over food for us to go. Also it is great that you have a photographer to take photos and promote your restaurant, but please inform people when they seat down so they are aware.

Date: July 30, 2025 Current (overall) Google review reads: +485.000 Day: Wednesday evening Review start (this time in English). --------------------------- To start with: we often enjoy Greek food! Today, due to time constraints, we chose this restaurant in Eindhoven. We were warmly/friendly welcomed and seated as one of the first guests on the terrace. Very positive! After placing our order, we waited approximately 40 minutes, while guests who arrived later were already served. When we pointed this out to the waitress, we were given an apology, but our food didn’t arrive for another 20 minutes, just as we were about to leave (approx 1 hour). Unfortunately, the food was very, very disappointing (23,- euro per portion): - Served lukewarm. - Old lettuce (keep in mind that my camera automatically enhances colors; see photo). - Somewhat uncooked rice (1 scoop). - Tasteless meat (seasoning was inadequate and dry). - Small portions (compared to other Greek restaurants). - No welcome ouzo drink (€3.50 on the menu) or carafe of water, as is customary in a lot of Greek restaurants. - Overpriced for the quality offered (€3.50 for a glass of cola that barely fills half the glass, see photo). - The price-to-quality ratio is poor. We ate what was edible and left the rest as is. We asked for the bill and had to wait again! When paying, the waitress asked if everything was to our liking. Our response was no, and we offered honest feedback. The waitress replied that we should have mentioned it earlier so they could have prepared something new quickly. I explained that we were on a tight schedule due to an appointment and didn’t want to wait again after our previous experience. She also claimed the lettuce was freshly prepared in the kitchen (see photo), but having worked in a kitchen myself, I can confidently say that brown lettuce is never fresh (this was old "mise and place"). Summarized: this was a very, very disappointing experience. After paying, we left quickly to attend our appointment. Of all the Greek restaurants we've visited, this was by far the worst experience for us. And no, offering apologies and a free drink (which was barely half a glass) doesn’t cut it for us. Maybe this was an error, but in that case, I would have immediately scrapped the bill and accepted the loss as a restaurant, no questions asked (managing by exception).

The food is delicious, the portions are large, and the prices are reasonable (not too expensive). The staff is very friendly. I recommend it!

High standard. Pleasant atmosphere.

Perhaps the most beautiful, clean and without the unnecessary excessive in showing the Greek element, the decoration of a Greek shop! The menu is as good as it gets! Everything is well cooked and tasty! The presence of gyros in all dishes is a very good idea too! (The prices are, by the way, at the level of Greece)

Lithos has dropped off in quality lately. Portions have gotten smaller and you do not get the quality you would expect considering the price. I used to bring colleagues and friends along, but I cannot recommend it anymore.

Today I had an unpleasant situation, I came at 5pm and only one table was occupied. Everything else was empty, my mother was with me and my one and half-year-old son, we got a table and sat down, when the waiter came to serve us I asked him to get a menu with dessert, then a man came and told us that they were a restaurant for dinner and that we couldn't just eat dessert and drink coffee, and he said we had to get up and leave, I'm 8 months pregnant and with a toddler it's a bit difficult, I felt very uncomfortable especially because I've been here several times for dinner and I wanted my mom to try their baklava. I wouldn't come here again because I think they're very rude and impolite. I don't think we would take away a table for dinner from anyone at 5pm, because they also have 15 empty tables outside. Not nice 🙂

As a regular customer, because of the good food, I've now had the experience twice in one week that I wasn't allowed to stay at a table for four, even though the large terrace was practically empty. If you stay here, you won't be served! Excuse me? There's a spot on a high stool in the sun at the edge... wtf! In short, as a single person, you don't generate any revenue, and we can do without you! 😳

This restaurant was always our favorite Greek restaurant in Eindhoven, and we've eaten here and gotten takeout several times. Yesterday, we ordered two gyros platters, but they were truly awful. The meat was gray and dry, and clearly not fresh. We'll never go back.

Well, simple but honest answer: you will never find better Greek food in Brabant than at Lithos! Incredibly tasty food and authentic dishes, and the staff is fantastic. Beautiful to see that a family runs this!

The Dakos salad isn’t Dakos salad, it’s mere bruschetta. The meat came cold. No taste of Greece in anything, really sorry to say. And the prices don’t do it justice

The food in itself was good and we enjoyed it, the location and atmosphere too. But, what made this only a two star place was the service, not all of them, just one woman, who from the beginning to the end was very rude and treated us very badly. Never had I had an experience where the waitress told me how much to order and what is right and wrong. Also, the prices were a little bit expensive for what the offer and the quality.

Faded glory compared to 5 years ago. Then we came there every month and the food was very good. Yesterday it was very poor. Small portion of moussakas, had to ask for extra bread to avoid being left hungry. The Greek salad was without tomatoes, cucumbers or the well-known tasty feta cheese. No, sorry, we won't be eating there again.

Lithos is our favourite Greek restaurant in Eindhoven area. The staff is excellent, really friendly, fast and helpful. Dishes are really good and really Greek (as far as some Greek friends told us). Prices in line with Eindhoven standards. Reservation is really neeed, especially Fri-Sun.

I tried PASTITSADA, and it was delicious. The ambience is good and I had a great time there.

The food was tasty and the service was fast and good. But when we wanted to split the bill by two, the owner was nagging about the transaction costs. We just had to send a message!🤷 The coat also had to go in the wardrobe. Very absurd! But we had a great meal and kept a 10% tip for ourselves, which is great!

During my recent trip to the Netherlands, I was looking for a place that offered comfort food and large portions. And I found it at Lithos. Every single dish that I tried was seasoned perfectly. It had me craving for more. The hospitality and the atmosphere were exactly on point. This is a must when visiting Eindhoven!! Super delicious!

We arrived relatively early in the six area. As soon as we entered, a very nice waitress seated us while we waited for the menu. We were served a shot of the famous Greek drink ouzo. Then we received the menu, a wide variety of fish and meats. In the end, we chose the usual and delicious things, lamb chops and entrecote steak. We also had a cocktail. The food was really delicious, the atmosphere was really good, and the waitresses were really nice. Even the cocktail was surprising.

We had not made a reservation, but were allowed to eat there anyway. Had to be ready by a certain time due to the next reservation. Good service and tasty food.
