I ate at Bogazici Restaurant in The Hague today and what an amazing experience. I had the mixed grill *and* the döner. The meat was deliciously tender, juicy, well-seasoned, and perfectly grilled. The döner, in particular, was truly outstanding: served with fresh salad and lovage, and with an amazing flavor. As far as I'm concerned, the best döner in The Hague and even the best in the Netherlands! 🥙🔥 The mixed grill was also fantastic: different types of meat, all perfectly prepared and full of flavor. For dessert, I had the künefe, and that was delicious too: nice and warm, crispy, and just the right amount of sweetness. 🤤 I have eaten at several Turkish restaurants in The Hague, but honestly, I think Bogazici is better than Akdeniz, Cadir, and the rest. For me, the quality and taste of the meat here are simply a level higher. Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves authentic Turkish food. For me, the best Turkish restaurant in The Hague! 🇹🇷🔥

A lentil soup and a chicken soup were very expensive, and they even charged for the tea.

I've been coming here for a while now (at least 1 or 2 times a week); the staff is friendly and helpful. I haven't tried everything here, but the kofte and the lentil soup are always tasty. Another plus is that you can get takeout. Prices are slightly higher, but that is negligible considering everything is expensive these days. If it's good, it's good.

I used to enjoy coming here, but after today, I don't think so anymore. Waiting half an hour for a döner platter while several other people were getting their food served in the meantime. At one point, people were busy with other things behind the counter, and it looked like they had forgotten my order. I got up and left. How difficult is it to prepare a platter?

My wife and I went to the restaurant around 10 am to have tripe soup. The soup arrived, I took two spoonfuls, and politely asked if I could have some vinegar. The answer was, "We don't have vinegar, we only have lemon and red pepper!" (They said there was no vinegar in such a large restaurant!). I paid €18 for two spoonfuls of soup and left. What a waste of money and the poor service there.

The owner came by to ask if everything was to our liking. The food was delicious, and we received tea on the house. Highly recommended!!

We were here yesterday and had a wonderful time. The staff was super friendly and created a lovely, welcoming atmosphere. The food was truly delicious – the Adana kebab and the döner are especially recommended. We'll definitely be back!

For us, absolutely not a second time. We normally eat here regularly, but what we experienced yesterday tops everything. Around 10:00 PM, the döner was already sold out — that can happen — but after that, it only went downhill. The other dishes were downright bad: no salt, no flavor, just tasteless food. But the worst came *after* the meal. We both got stomach cramps and diarrhea. That is no coincidence and raises serious questions about the quality of the meat and the hygiene in this establishment. And all this for about €60. That is truly ridiculous for what we received. Very disappointing and never again for us.

Parking on a busy street is difficult

This one is the classic Turkish barbecue, pizzas and soups. Very good. I recommend you to try the soup called Paça.

Top notch! They always take your order seriously and the service is fast. And most importantly, the food is perfect, nothing to complain about.

The doner sandwich was okay, the veal was good. Sometimes a bit dry. Now, the rest was rubbish, bro. What is this? I make my own Iskender, it's better than what they do here. Number 1, the sauce isn't good. Number 2, I ordered Iskender and got a French fry base with doner on top. Then came the most terrible tomato sauce I've ever tasted. No Kozlenmis Biber either, what is this? The same sauce I ordered before the Beyti was also terrible. I ate until I was hungry, and then I couldn't eat anymore. I had to throw it away. The doner sandwich delivery was very late; the whole thing had gone cold before I got it. Too bad, man. As a teenager, I used to come here with my friends for a good meal; they had better quality. I can't say anything about the atmosphere and service; I didn't even have time to call.

I was a regular at Bogazizi 10 years ago, but it's really bad now. I ordered a chicken fillet dish, but it didn't come with any vegetables. The chicken was completely burnt. I asked for bulgur rice and was told it was gone, but I later discovered it still had it. It's also extremely expensive.

I ordered Beyti via Uber, but what I received was truly appalling. No tomato sauce, no yogurt, a tiny portion, and the meat was completely tasteless. When I called the restaurant to resolve the issue, they simply told me they were busy and that I'd have to wait if I wanted sauce. Then, they simply hung up the phone when I asked how they were going to resolve the issue. Rude behavior and a complete lack of respect for customers—yet they dared to charge €20 for this pathetic situation. Never again for me!

After eating your food I got stomachache and felt sick. One of the employees was not polite and humiliated me and my friends.

Mushrooms that are cold. Salad that is not fresh. Staff that you have to ask for things yourself and is not alert. Meat...muah..could be better. And then ask 25 euros pp. Not worth it. Bad food. Bad review.

I've been there twice. Doner is fresh but not tasty at all, Adana kebab is a bit better and fresh. It's good but not the best. Prices are not cheap, the sufficient price is two thirds of that price put on it. You can use their own parking garage for free, but you must first request this from them. Staff are nice.

It used to be tasty and affordable, but nowadays the meat is extremely greasy and you pay top price. Last time I paid €25 for one skewer of adana with a little bit of doner.

Delicious Turkish grill dishes and homemade Yaprak doner. Currently my number 2 doner business in The Hague (number 1 Saray). If you like Turkish food you simply have to eat here.

Food was super mediocre, I have experienced the quality 10 times at other Turkish eateries. As a group we ordered different dishes and we all had the same opinion (mediocre) if you want a mediocre dinner you should come here.

The waitress was very attentive. I cannot recommend the food, namely the grilled chicken and grilled plate. It was sasak, without any spices. Even salt was very little. The rice was more cold than warm. There is absolutely no parking!!!

Disappointment: The spices of the meat were low, they didn't ask for our drinks, they brought them to us when we asked for them in the middle of the meal. It would have been better if I didn't ask for an appetizer plate, the rice was cold. We ate it because we were hungry.

Rustige zaak, netjes ingericht, service was goed. Wij waren met een grote groep >15 personen. Eten was voor mij middelmatig met de adana kebap, beetje droog en geen samenhang. Overig zoals soep, salade etc was goed. Heb begrepen dat de döner en kip wel goed was.

Doner, met als eindcijfer een dikke 10! Na anderhalf jaar (ja, veel te lang geleden) weer eens terug gekomen. Nog steeds een dikke 10. Je krijgt bij een broodje doner, een kwart Turks brood, goed gevuld met verse sla. Vergis je niet in de grootte, zelfs voor een grote eter is 1 broodje echt genoeg!

Food, Atmosphere, and Service, all are great. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The place is clean and cosy. The grilled BBQ food you get here is special because it might not be available in other restaurants in The Netherlands. Start your food with Lentil Soup and soft Turkish Bread, and end it with sweet Turkish Tea. Overall, very good experience, and would definitely like to have dinner here again.
