The price/quality ratio is disproportionate. Food mediocre. The hot mezze was deep-fried junk of poor quality. Filthy toilets. €30 for 12 deep-fried pieces of misery and a basket of warmed-up bread with greasy spreads is absolutely ridiculous.

Went out to eat here with my wife; ordered two soups and a Karides Tava (fried shrimp in butter) to share as a snack. I had to tell by how greasy it was served. Because now we are both suffering. Constant vomiting and a nasty burning sensation in the throat. The vomit is just as orange as the butter it was served in. Called up (spoke to the first 2 employees who had absolutely no idea what customer-friendly meant) and explained that they would look into it. The gentleman immediately said, "I can't do anything else." They stated that they serve everything fresh daily. (My wife and I had only had breakfast that day), so that certainly wasn't the cause. First and last time.

We went for breakfast; the food wasn't bad, but we were very unhappy with a blonde woman named Leven who worked there. My relatives were at the table next to us, and after they left, Ms. Leven started talking about them behind their backs. On top of that, she scolded her staff in front of the customers. We were very disturbed by this and will not be coming back here again. It was truly appalling.

We got some soup, some eggs, and a drink, which in itself came to well over €42. We asked if we could get one simit for the little one, and they said that was possible. When paying, it turned out they had charged SIX euros for one simit (the price of one simit is not mentioned on their current menu). We tried to have a decent conversation with these people, as this amount is ridiculous, but they refused to see that you simply cannot charge this much. We will certainly never come back here again.

Today, we came for breakfast with our family without a reservation. The owner told us that we could only stay briefly because a large group was arriving later. This time, we were told that we could only stay briefly because ‘150 people’ would be arriving later. In our opinion, this excuse is used frequently to avoid arguments with customers. A discussion arose regarding the price for a small child (disabled), and the owner eventually said that we didn't have to come back if we wanted to. As a family, we did not feel welcome and were not treated respectfully. On busy days or holidays, the owner constantly starts talking about time limits for breakfast, and it seems as if customers are only welcome on his terms. People pay money to enjoy a meal and feel welcome — not to be pressured or turned away. I advise others to be very careful before spending their money here.” That is why we will not be returning here.”

The food is fine, but nothing special. You get basmati rice instead of Turkish pilaf. Next to your grill, you get mushroom sauce instead of garlic sauce. We had to keep calling the waiter whenever we wanted to order something. We wanted to order drinks but didn't feel like looking for someone again. Additionally, the service wasn't friendly. We ordered a main course for 8 people, and then they brought a mixed grill. They didn't know the Dutch names for their own dishes.

I highly recommend it! LALEZAR RESTAURANT should be the only address for those seeking Turkish cuisine. With its calm and friendly staff, you will find yourself in a very comfortable and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

We had breakfast here yesterday morning. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the food from the buffet was delicious. It is truly a place you have to go for breakfast at least once. I also want to tell you about an incident we experienced here yesterday. Two women with their three children sat down at the table next to us. I think when they received their food, the waiter came by to ask if everything was to their liking. Meanwhile, the women kept talking to each other about the waiters, a bit behind their backs. One of the women's daughters was even eating under the table — we could see that clearly, because we were sitting directly opposite them. At one point, they started arguing with the waiters. They kept insisting that the waiters were talking about them behind their backs. As far as I am concerned, the customers were absolutely wrong and were being rude. We have been coming here for a long time and they are always very friendly and welcoming.

Where shall I begin? I haven't written a review in a long time, but I certainly observed the one for this restaurant, as always, before I came to eat here. This time, I was invited to break the iftar. And given that it is a holy month for Muslims, I will tell the full truth here as well. I found the price of the set menu rather on the high side; I can imagine that someone who hasn't had anything in their stomach for a whole month has little room to get their money's worth out of the €44.95 (rounded to €45…). But that is my opinion before the party could begin; perhaps poor choice of words. When reading the reviews, it became clear that the portions were small compared to the price, the waiters were unfriendly, the cashier was suspicious about payments, and the location was inconvenient for parking. How can the restaurant actually be fined for the latter? Surely you would choose a restaurant in the middle of nowhere for that? Anyway, the other points of criticism. The portions were not small; to a certain extent, you could serve yourself. I did find it a pity that you had to indicate how much you wanted for the “more expensive items,” such as pork chops. Unfriendly staff? I didn't see any of that. But as a restaurant, you don't need to waste oxygen on that in the reviews. For some people, it doesn't matter how friendly you are. The men usually want a hot chick at the table, and the ladies want a waiter to exchange numbers with. So, just ignore it completely. The circulating staff were very friendly. The language barrier did make certain questions difficult, or rather, impossible. That definitely needs to be worked on. I assume the goal isn't to only attract customers who speak Turkish—at least, I hope so. However, the last point of criticism hit me right in the face. The first part of the group had already left and paid. The second part left a few minutes later and was told that another part hadn't paid. Fortunately, the cashier corrected herself and saw that everything had been paid for, and an apology for the slight accusation seemed appropriate to me. But considering the crowds and the assumption that the employees undoubtedly hadn't eaten anything all day themselves, let's keep it human and let it pass! The buffet could be a bit more Turkish; there are more dishes from Turkish cuisine that would have turned the bar into a real buffet. Let people serve themselves as well; that also ensures that no endless queues form. After all, people are hungry, so let there be food! Some restaurants have already switched to true all-you-can-eat inclusive; just charge the guest a single amount. After all, I would rather pay a single amount, even if it is a bit more, than suddenly pay top dollar for every dish or drink that falls just outside the free zone. Because the cheesecake and the tres leches/trilece looked truly delicious, but the upgrade to €55 suddenly hits a bit harder! All in all, you are doing a good job. There are tips and points of criticism, and simply tearing things down or belittling. It was lovely and pleasant. The atmosphere was fine, but I just hope that you take the points of criticism from all customers seriously, so that you can give everyone an even better and more enjoyable experience. Lalezar: worth it!

This was our second visit, and unfortunately, there were a few things about dining here that were okay. The first drawback was that two lines were formed when there was only one, and people in the back arrived first to get their food. Other drawbacks were that some of the food wasn't particularly tasty. The desserts were good, but unfortunately, we couldn't choose all the desserts, even though it was all-you-can-eat.

We had made a reservation at this restaurant well in advance and were looking forward to our evening. We arrived on time, but to our great surprise, we were told that our reservation had been canceled without any prior notice or communication. No contact was made with us beforehand: no phone call, no email, nothing. This left us unexpectedly without a table, forcing us to look for an alternative at the last minute. This was very disappointing and definitely not what you expect when you make a reservation and arrive on time. The way this was handled felt unfriendly and unprofessional.

€45 for an iftar buffet, which I find far too much without drinks. Moreover, fasting also prevents you from eating normally. It's often just a celebration of something you're having with a large group for iftar. It looks more attractive than it actually is. Once you're there, they serve you soup, so what if you don't want it? Then it's forced upon you. It wasn't busy, but I was still put off by the restaurant where I often go for breakfast or outside of the buffet arrangement. My favorite dessert was gone! There were no fish dishes or snacks, and the vegetables were scant. If you don't like meat... there's not much. What I find especially disappointing is that the staff barely speaks Dutch! I always feel rushed when I come here; the staff watches your every move, with complete understanding. This really causes discomfort, to the point where you start wondering if you're a burden to them or if you should leave as soon as possible, UNFORTUNATELY!

In the meantime, you can have a good time. Complimenten aan de jonge man achter de bar super spontaan en vriendelijk. Hij merkte meteen dat we op zoek waren naar een tafel en begeleidde ons naar een mooie plek. Ook de jonge man die bij ons kwam vragen wat we wilden eten was ontzettend aardig, vooruitdenkend en rustig. Echt dankjewel daarvoor! Daarnaast had hij ook nog eens hele goede smaak, haha. Ik wist zelf niet welk drankje ik moest kiezen en dankzij zijn aanbeveling heb ik iets heel lekkers gedronken. Verder was er een meisje dat bij ons kwam opruimen, zij was echt hartverwarmend en lief. Ook was er een vrouw die enorm klantvriendelijk was en duidelijk hield van een gezellig praatje, wat de ervaring alleen maar leuker maakte. The prices are exorbitant, nobody pays attention, I have no complaints about the chefs, if your food or dessert manages to reach you it's delicious and worth the meal, but it's more of a place for those who like to wait, a place of refuge. I counted 4 customers inside, and after the first 10 minutes, only the forks, spoons and knives arrived at the table.

Many of us don't like spicy food, but they put it in every prepared breakfast dish. The breakfast selection is very small.. It's cold inside and there's no hot water in the toilet.

We ate here yesterday. The food was delicious, but I had to walk over to the staff to ask if we could order after waiting 15 minutes. We then wanted to order dessert, but the staff kept avoiding us. After waiting for over half an hour, we left. (It wasn't busy.)

For a Sunday evening, it was just right in terms of busyness: quiet enough to have a nice chat, with atmospheric music playing pleasantly in the background. We sat here for a few hours and enjoyed delicious tender meat, varied tapas and salads, and a delicious lentil soup – truly wonderful! The Turkish tea always finishes it off, just like the buttermilk with the meat. And to finish, of course, the large Turkish Havuç Dilimi with whipped cream… amazing! Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, and a place where you can truly relax and enjoy yourself.!

Yesterday, my wife and I came for dinner. We ordered the mixed grill from the chef. It was for two people, but the presentation was nice. The Adana kebab tasted terrible. The gasoline they used to light the coals and the smell of the smoke was so strong. We didn't eat it, but they didn't change it even though we told them so. I won't go back, and I won't recommend it to anyone. The service is zero.

During my visit to Lalezar I was completely wrongly accused of taking products. A lady working there (Bulgarian, I understand) accused me without any basis or evidence. This was not only embarrassing, but also disrespectful and hurtful. I was shocked by the way I was treated. Customers should be treated with respect - not based on assumptions or prejudices. I will not be coming back here for a while.
