Bomboca in Spijkerkwartier

Very nice little cafe with affordable price. I had the pastel de nata and queijadas together with fresh ginger tea. The pastel de nata was delicious. The menu selections are a bit different to other cafes and I would like to try the other snacks. Just be mindful that the place is not big and you may not get a place indoor.

Top sandwiches, to which I have now become addicted. Delicious in combination with a fresh smoothie. You won't find the price/quality ratio anywhere near as good as here. Would love to come there with a friend who introduced me. And not unimportant: the great personal service. Feels like you're visiting.

After driving past it for years, I went for a cup of coffee today. Nice coffee bar with a versatile range of hot and cold drinks, tasty sandwiches and cakes. Atmosphere was relaxed, good staff and diversity of visitors.

It was recommended to me by some friends, but I certainly won't be going back. We ordered two coffees, a rice cake and a custard tart for €10.70. Not even in the Algarve would I pay that price. The custard tart didn't have much flavor and the rice cake only tasted of orange and the coffee was poorly made. The kitchen was disorganized. The space was of very poor quality.

Portuguese cozy place, ideal for som coffe, breakfast or lunch. Products are fresh, good and filling, and with a good and fair price. There is not so many place inside but they also have a terrace which is really nice. It gets easily crowded. Only con, they are not that efficient.

Had a delicious sandwich with vegetables and cheese. However, the coffee was a little less tasty, but the atmosphere and pastel de nata more than make up for that

Very good coffee in a cosy spot. We had an assortment of sweet breakfast items, which were all great! But best of all is the superb pastel del nata! Super crispy shell with smooth creamy filling!

What a gem of a restaurant! We like to take a detour by car to visit Bamboca. I've actually never had anything that wasn't tasty. The tuna sandwich is my personal favorite, but actually all breakfasts are a great success. The only 'disadvantage' is that the restaurant is too small, because everyone wants to enjoy all the goodies they have to offer during the weekend.

Pareltje in het Spijkerkwartier! Knusse en sfeervolle koffiebar met een Portugese inslag. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en de koffie en het eten smaken goed. Voor - slechts (!) - €12,30,- nuttigde ik een Portugees melkbroodje met ei, een pastel de nata (con canela) en een Galão (koffie met veel warme melk). Overigens nam ik - bij diezelfde prijs inbegrepen - ook nog een melkbroodje met ei en kaas to-go mee. Zowel de melkbroodjes als de pastel de nata waren huisgemaakt, en dat proef je zeker terug in de smaak!

Stopped off here for a quick lunch, food OK, toilets clean.

Sfeer in de bar is fijn, knus en trendy pittoresk. Het ademt een sfeer die een soort permanente staat van zomer geeft, hetgeen in de zomer nog meer tot uiting komt. De espresso is oké en heeft meer weg van een Iberische café solo uit de percolator dan een Italiaanse espresso, maar afijn, de smaak is oké genoeg om hem te drinken. Ik zou de plek vooral aandoen voor de sfeer, locatie en het eten. Een stukje hip Lisboa in Arnhem.

Properly good coffee. More of a 4.5 star rating because I think the food options could be improved slightly. But generally it is a great and cosy place.

Super leuk tentje met overheerlijke koffie en broodjes! Tosti en broodje met tonijn zijn goddelijk! Helaas geen foto’s gemaakt, want dat verdiende het wel! Ze staan maar met z’n tweetjes( meer past ook niet denk ik) en daardoor moet je wat langer wachten, maar dat is het zo waard! Aanrader!

Amazing coffee and pastries!! This place has such great character. I would 100% try the cornucopia pastry next time, never tasted anything like it before.

We komen hier zeer graag, Portugees koffietentje, echt Portugese koffie, sapjes, hapjes. Superleukterrasje, altijd wat te zien. Goede bediening vooral (denk ik) Molukse dame altijd vriendelijk.

Geweldige koffie, originele kaart, prachtige hippe ambiance! Fijne en vriendelijke bediening! Enige minpuntje is de drukke straat (veel auto’s) als je op het terras zit. Is tegelijk ook juist gezellig.

Superleuk gelegen op de hoek in prachtig sfeervol pandje. Klein maar daardoor intiem. Buiten zicht op stadspark. Portugese eigenaars. Sympathiek. Keuken is oké. Niet teveel lekkere dingen voor ontbijt, lunch en dinner. Sfeer is authentiek. Met héérlijke pastel de nata! Buiten centrum, rand spijkerkwartier. Veel locals. Echt de moeite waard.

Echt leuk hoekje om te zitten. En het broodje, of beter gezegd, de tosti geitenkaas, spinazie en tomaat was heerlijk! Echt kritisch puntje; bediening mag wat vlotter, verdienen ze ook wat meer.
