Café Vrijdag in Spijkerkwartier

+ Delicious food and drinks + Good non-alcoholic beer + Good vegetarian options - Unfortunately, there are gender-segregated restrooms. It's a bit contradictory that Google calls Café Vrijdag LGBTQIAP+ friendly and even a safe environment specifically for transgender people. - Unfortunately, there's no smoke-free terrace.

Food was fabulous, freshly made and so tasty. Bar service was great, with recommendations on the extensive list of beers. Would highly recommend!!

Outside on the terrace, you're sitting in the hustle and bustle, next to a large highway that passes close by on several sides. Yet, I always enjoy coming here, and it's always busy and lively. I do find it a drawback that you have to go inside to order, but that's probably the easiest option for them. If you order inside, they'll bring it outside for you. Moreover, the service is always very friendly. I especially enjoy it for drinks (they also have games), whether it's alcohol or coffee, but you can also have lunch or dinner. Legend 1) Terrible! I don't recommend it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nice for a one-time visit. 4) Fine, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

It was really nice, until the food arrived. Charred satay, that's not good. Should I eat the fries and pay half? Fine, agreed. The receipt neatly included half the meal. But I also overpaid for two colas and a beer, as I later realized... The staff was also so busy. With each other and the regulars. A shame, because it's a really nice place, I think.

Nice place for a snack and a drink

Cozy place, but table service is not always available.

Despite being located on the busy Eusebiussingel, the atmosphere is incredibly relaxed. You do have to enjoy a bit of bustle and settle for a wooden bench, but it's so cozy and so many birds of paradise wander past the terrace that it's a feast for the eyes. I love it! Delicious beer and healthy snacks complete the experience!

Super nice spot, a little away from the center! Service was top notch and there was plenty of choice in drinks. Even though I didn't order the food, it looked absolutely fantastic!

Very nice café with excellent apple pie and coffee. I cycled 115 km from Essen/Germany to Arnhem for this cake and returned home after eating it. He carried me home safely ;) I would do it again. Nice service!

Nice café, slow staff who often turn their backs to the customers and never know whose turn it is. Several customers complain about the taste of the white wine, including us (Verdejo really didn't taste like anything). Staff have no customer-friendly instructions on how to deal with this.

Had a delicious dinner at Cafe Vrijdag with our group of friends. Everything went exactly as we requested, the curry soup was delicious and so was the main course. A nice bottle of Prosecco completed the party. Friendly manager/owner. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great cafe for a drink or a simple meal. It's a pity that you have to order at the bar (regardless of whether you sit inside or outside) and that the tables are not cleared and cleaned quickly.

Great salad with pumpkin and soup (which I have eaten before). The gentleman complimented him and indicated that he had forgotten the sage oil. That can happen of course, but it was still delicious without it.

Café Vrijdag ligt op de hoek van een drukke verkeersader aan de rand van het centrum van Arnhem. Sfeer moet je zelf maken en voor 2 drankjes (warme chocomel en icetee) betaalde ik € 8,50, aardig aan de prijs maar ik ben waarschijnlijk niet mee van deze tijd en uitgaan kost geld. Naast het Café op de begane grond is er een ruimte boven voor als je met een groep wat te vieren hebt. Over eten, kwaliteit en prijzen kan ik niets schrijven, heb verder niets genuttigd.

Gezellig café in het centrum van Arnhem. Heel veel keuze uit verschillende dranken en hapjes. De sfeer is meer dan prima en het personeel is zeer vriendelijk.

Terras aan de rondweg voor auto's door het centrum, buurtcafe en voor liefhebbers. Altijd een goede sfeer en leuke gasten bij Vrijdag. De koffie is pretty standaard Peeze. Mag ook met plantenmelk Fijne gingerbeer, goed snacken en lunchen

Heerlijke sfeer bij Café Vrijdag. Om zomaar even een drankje te doen, of een kop koffie te nemen als je op weg bent naar de supermarkt. De spelletjeskast is goed gevuld, en de nacho's en de borrelplank zijn echt ontzettend lekker. Beslist een aanrader!

It is a pretty cool place to catch up for a drink or something to eat. It can get busier though and the noise gets to the roof. Overall, it is a pretty good spot in town.

Echt een heel erg leuke plek om een drankje te doen en ook op dagen zoals maandag en dinsdag is het er gezellig druk. Maar misschien was het ivm iets in musis, maar het was super super druk en je moest echt schreeuwen als je wilde dat de persoon aan tafel je verstond.

Het is in principe een prima café met vriendelijke bediening en een solide bierkaart, maar het is er door de inrichting al snel druk en krap.

Leukste koffie of bierbar van Arnhem. Hier is nog aandacht voor jou. Hier is nog authenticiteit. Hier is het lekkerste bier (oké een fair tweede plaats na Moortgat). Hier is het fijnste terras met een lange zomeravondzon. Hier komen de leukste mensen. Hier moet je naartoe!
