Bomenpark in Buitengebied Heesch

We made a stop here with our two four-legged friends to take a walk and enjoy a quiet lunch. That is how we ended up at 't Bomenpark, a lovely location hidden away in a green, peaceful setting. We were warmly welcomed by the hospitable staff. Dogs are not allowed inside, but they are welcome on the terrace. The terrace offers various seating options: the front is a bit more open and lively, with a pleasant breeze, while the back is sheltered and quiet. There is a playground available for families with children. The restaurant also exudes atmosphere inside. The menu is surprisingly composed, with a nice balance between hot and cold dishes. The burrata avocado was delicious. And the presentation was top-notch. Definitely a place to remember!

Great place with a nice setting. It’s relaxing and if you’re here on a sunny day, it’s amazing to sit along the water! The service is quick, the food is very good and the staff was very friendly. I recommend the place and will go back for sure!

Initially, I was served politely by a gentleman. There was some glass on the patio, and I reported it to a blonde waitress. Fifteen minutes later, no one had come. When I inquired, she said it was our own responsibility to let children play in the playground without shoes. I'd say, you form your own opinion.

Had a delicious meal. Plenty of choice. Beautiful view over the water. The young staff are very friendly and helpful. The older staff could learn a thing or two from them. She was actually very curt and surly.

Always lively, often packed during lunch and dinner, especially in the summer. Friendly staff and delicious food. It has an atmospheric setting, plenty of parking, and it is nice to take a walk in the park before or after a bite to eat or a drink.

Nothing to complain, but please note it’s on the expensive side. However, it’s worth it.

Way too expensive, not fun anymore

It used to be a nice place to eat or have lunch. Unfortunately, the service has been very poor lately. For instance, we had to wait almost an hour for our meal. This happens more often lately. Too bad.

Okay, is this still hibernation? We ate with a 2CV... Flat iron for both of us... 5 slices of lukewarm steak from the Alto Shaam without any roast... veal jus? Sorry, thick pre-made... vegetables that were too raw and bland, and two cold cherry tomatoes... that's it! Bill 72.20... price/quality is out of whack, or there's no chef anymore... shame.

This afternoon, my wife and I wanted to have a drink on the terrace because the weather was beautiful. I saw a table available, but no, we weren't allowed to sit there because it was for four. We were then told there was still room downstairs at the edge of the terrace, but it was full. Apparently, occupancy is more important than service. We were here for drinks last year and noticed the prices were very high. The quality is generally good, and the location is also excellent, but overall, the price-quality ratio is poor.

Unfortunately, after dinner on February 14, 2026, I got sick from the oysters. It's a shame, because the food here is usually good. Do something about it, Bomenpark.

It remains a wonderful place for a drink after a walk. Lunch and dinner are also excellent! They're happy to accommodate allergies, but you'll pay extra for gluten-free bread.

A truly wonderful place, with great service, incredibly delicious food, and a beautiful area for walking. The coffee is excellent, the lunch is delicious, and the dinner is not to be missed!

A solid 10, I can't say it any other way. We had lunch with five people on January 18, 2026. It was a beautiful, clean, and atmospheric location in a lovely natural setting. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we never had to wait long. We ordered four tuna tatakis (some of us had the salad, but also the poke bowl), and one of us had the smoky salmon salad. I had the tuna tataki salad (pictured). Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it; the food is so excellent, delicious! For dessert, the three of us had the cheese board because we weren't really hungry anymore, but it was also delicious! They have a good non-alcoholic wine and a non-alcoholic Brand Weizen, which was very helpful during Dry January. If it were closer to home, I'd go here very often; it's simply perfect!

I often pop into Bomenpark for a drink or lunch after a walk, and I'm always very positive about it! The service is friendly and the food is excellent. Tonight was my first dinner, and it was fantastic again! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended!

Fine, beautiful restaurant in a stunning location. I am not giving full stars because we ordered coffee with cake and received the cake quite quickly, but the coffee really took too long; we sat waiting for the coffee at first, but when we finally decided to start on the cake, we had long finished it by the time the coffee arrived. Okay, it was "difficult" coffee, a Latte Macchiato, but still. It took too long. And I didn't find it *that* busy.

The restaurant is situated in a beautiful setting, ideal for a peaceful stroll. It has a cozy, Brabant atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and professional. It's a great place for a delicious lunch and also perfect for a romantic dinner. I come here very often, and the quality of the food and service is very consistent. For me, it's by far the best restaurant in the area.

A beautiful restaurant with a stunning view. Easy online booking. Busy on a weekday. Friendly and good service. A mistake was made and was immediately and expertly corrected. Despite the crowd, dishes arrived quickly. The lobster bisque was excellent, but I didn't like the sauce with the bread, preferring a different option. Croquettes, brie balsamic focaccia, and crispy chicken in the poke bowl were very tasty. Tip for the poke bowl: prefer the sauce on the side or a choice of sauces. Not a fan of wasabi. The hamburgers were cooked just fine, quite red, and I would have preferred an alternative to chips. The portion size of all dishes was borderline sufficient; compared to the price, it could have been more. The dessert with warm apple and crumble, white chocolate cream, and cinnamon ice cream was very tasty, but the crumble was overpowering, making the dish a bit dry. All in all, a delicious meal, a pleasant experience. A few more options for side dishes, sauces, and spreads, as well as improved portion size, would make it truly excellent.

We had a voucher for a cup of coffee and apple pie. It was free for two people and tasted great.

The food was delicious, especially for my birthday, so it was extra festive. I'm lactose intolerant, but I was still able to choose what I liked, served with a lactose-free sauce. The food arrived quickly, but there was plenty of time for it to settle before the next course. The dessert, which was also delicious (blackberry sorbet ice cream with delicious fresh fruit), was also delicious. I've had that before, but here it actually tasted like ice cream, not frozen flavored water. A real treat to eat. We were also allowed to choose where we wanted to sit, and the conservatory is always comfortable and warm. In short, a lovely evening out with good quality food at a great price. We happened to arrive here around 2:30 PM because we had an appointment nearby. We received a friendly welcome and were seated in the conservatory. We immediately noticed the older crowd, but the atmosphere was cozy and homey. We ordered a tuna sandwich with fries (it wasn't on the lunch menu, but we were able to order it). The sandwiches were delicious, the view was beautiful, and the staff was friendly. In short, highly recommended!

Lovely outdoor seating on a Sunday afternoon. Super-fast service; it's there before you even ask. So to speak. A delicious appetizer, but the menu should really say "appetizers." The quantity is meager, but it's "just right." The main courses were excellent. The poké bowl is also absolutely fantastic. The quantity is also excellent. Classy!

There are plenty of lovely spots along the water to sit and enjoy the view. You'll be told at the door where a spot is waiting for you. Dogs are welcome, provided they're well-behaved. Their water bowls are either ready or we'll fill them for you. Food and drinks are served quickly and deliciously. By the way, the iced coffee is also delicious!

I recently visited a lovely restaurant near Den Bosch called "Bomenpark," and I was absolutely impressed. It's nestled in a park, surrounded by a lake, offering a beautiful, idyllic setting. The restaurant itself is spacious, with both indoor seating and two terraces—one at the front and one at the back. The service was exceptional: attentive, friendly, and always with a smile. The staff was quick and efficient, making the experience even more enjoyable. As for the food, everything was delicious. I started with a tuna tataki, which was beautifully presented—though I wouldn't have minded a slightly larger portion. For the main course, I had the daily special, a bavette steak with a bacon sauce and vegetables, which was outstanding. My colleagues enjoyed their dishes as well—one had a tartare and the other had prawns, both of which were equally delightful. The portions were generous for the main courses, and everything was plated beautifully. The fries on the side were also tasty. The bill came to about 50 euros per person, including a glass of wine each—five glasses in total. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll definitely keep this restaurant in mind for future visits!
