We were looking for a nice place to grab a bite to eat, a light lunch. On the way, we were already advised to go to 'de Toren'. The advice was very well deserved. We were able to place an order very quickly. It was a cold flavored ice latte. After that, we ordered a sandwich, and that arrived quickly too. And it was delicious, 10 points! Romée, the waitress, even had time for a friendly chat, even though it was quite busy. I say, if you want to eat something in the afternoon (you can order a mini or maxi of many dishes) and you are in the neighborhood, then this is a very good place.

Truly a top-notch place! The lunch menu is cheap, tasty, and offers a good portion of food. There are also many different vegetarian options, and they clearly indicate which ingredients contain allergens. This is highly recommended!

De Toren in Heeswijk-Dinther is a beautiful, small-scale wedding venue in the heart of Heeswijk-Dinther. The courtyard is beautifully landscaped, and with its cozy rugs and lovely Chesterfield sofas, it exudes a great deal of warmth. In case of bad weather, weddings can be held in the bright conservatory. The interior spaces at De Toren have been recently renovated and are beautifully decorated. So, if you are looking for an atmospheric, somewhat smaller wedding venue in Brabant with character, De Toren in Heeswijk-Dinther is absolutely a beautiful place to get married.

We were here with a large group. Parking isn't available right up close, but there was plenty of space a little further away. The interior is standard but cozy. The young waitstaff stood out for their efficiency. Occasionally a small thing went wrong (large group), but that was always resolved very quickly. The food was tasty. The gyoza were very flavorful. The chicken satay was tender with (slightly too much) sauce. The dessert was also good. The prices are a bit on the high side. This place is highly recommended!

Last Monday, I went out for dinner with a colleague at De Toren in Heeswijk Dinter, and it did not disappoint. We arrived on the early side (5 PM), so it was wonderfully quiet. The young waiter was friendly, patient, and able to take my corny jokes. There was some confusion regarding the set menu, but once that was clarified, we had Gyoza (mini), pork belly (also on my plate :-)) in mini size, and shared fries with Parmesan cheese and truffle mayo. There was nothing to fault about the food there; it was simply delicious. For dessert, an Affogato for my dining companion and cheesecake for myself. We were completely full. The interior is cozy, warm, and atmospheric, and the price was excellent. Definitely recommended. UPDATE (3 weeks later) For her 58th birthday, I took my best friend and amateur culinary reviewer to De Toren. The score is now a 2/2. The staff is young, fresh, friendly, and exactly what you would expect from good hospitality professionals. So I was fumbling with the menu and my phone's flashlight when the young lady, with a tray full of drinks, placed a cozy little lamp on our table so I could read the menu better. Now that's what I call service, right? We ordered a small asparagus soup and mini pork belly starters. Really tasty and looked good too. After that, a mini Caesar salad and the fish variation with a small salad and a portion of fries with Parmesan cheese and truffle mayo. Yummy, and that mini salad wasn't mini-mini; it was packed with chicken that you usually have to search for. The fries were also suffocated under a mountain of Parmesan cheese, exactly as you hope. The salmon and salad were also just really good. Oh yes, and for drinks, we both had a thirst quencher, which came in a good-sized glass. We were both huffing and puffing under the weight of the food, but couldn't resist choosing dessert as well. The dessert board offered nothing but goodies, and so it happened that we went home stuffed. Everything was simply good: the atmosphere, the food, the service, and my company. Fortunately, we had to walk a bit to the car so the load could settle. I will definitely come back again.

The Restaurant you can go to and leave hungry. I came back to De Toren for a one-year anniversary with my boyfriend. We had a lovely time the first time. This time, the menu had a different selection. Okay. No big deal. We placed our order. I was brought the wrong item. After reordering my item, a mini cup of soup, I waited another 30 minutes before it was delivered. My boyfriend was finished with his meal by then. I tasted the soup and it was very, very salty. I told the waiter after a few minutes when I could get his attention. He told the chef and they tasted it and agreed it was too salty. He took the soup off my bill and we only paid for my boyfriend’s food. There was no offer to get me something else to eat. I had been there an hour and watched my boyfriend eat without anything to tie me over. And I left hungry. After an hour of not being successful getting something pleasant to eat, I gave up and there was no attempt from the restaurant to ensure I was accommodated in any other way. I gave the restaurant two stars because the first time I was there it was a pleasant experience. Otherwise, it would have gotten only one star from me with this experience.

Super restaurant! As a vegetarian, it is sometimes difficult to find tasty food, especially if you don't want another goat cheese salad. Here, they have delicious, original vegetarian dishes! And there is a good selection too. We had a fantastic meal here; the kitchen is really excellent. The staff is also super friendly! A nice young team that seems to work well together. The interior might be a bit outdated, but that shouldn't spoil the fun. Actually, it has a certain charm. Highly recommended!

The wait staff was extremely friendly and came by frequently during the hour we had to wait for our meal. That's a positive thing, because the food was unimaginative, no better than the average village cafeteria. Very thick slices of bread (not worthy of being called tapas) with cheap toppings and sauces like those from a supermarket bottle. The dessert cake was dry, low-quality, and resembled something you might get packaged from a vending machine at a small provincial train station. The acoustics in the room were terrible, so I could barely hear the person next door. And finally, our group was split between two tables, which made it very unsociable.

Always fantastic staff who go the extra mile! Had a delicious lunch with an original dish. Even for my gluten-free girlfriend.

What a fantastic place! We came with a large group (29 people), including children. That must have been quite a challenge for both the chefs and the wait staff. Nevertheless, they were very friendly and patient, and the food was excellent! My compliments to this restaurant! I highly recommend eating here!

Beautiful restaurant! The service is always excellent. The Pomodori and Curry soups are our favorites. They also recommended a mustard soup. It's a shame you can no longer order satay and fries for lunch. You could always order that before. The Yakitori skewers were very small, very expensive, and not a good alternative.

It's always fun to go to the Toren for lunch. The menu offers plenty of choices, and they have excellent coffee. Today I enjoyed a delicious open-top club sandwich again; it's still my favorite.

A lovely establishment, with the restaurant area at the front (with a terrace overlooking the street), and a garden room at the back for larger groups and private parties. The service is friendly and efficient. The dishes are well-seasoned and beautifully presented.

We had a delicious meal with several mini dishes (which aren't mini at all). A perfect concept for sampling different dishes and sharing if needed. The desserts are presented on a tray, and you can choose which one you'd like. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and good prices. A great place to eat... or have drinks. Had a great drink, lunch and dinner. Everything is possible here and when the weather is nice you can sit outside on the terrace. Provided there is space of course. The only downside is that it is close to a busy road and there are often motorcycles and cars driving by with noise that accelerate extra. The service is good and there is a wide choice of drinks menu. Definitely recommended to go here with friends for a drink.

What a friendly and hospitable service! And the food is also surprising and very tasty. You can choose from mini-meals and maxi-meals. So you can take traditional starter and main course but also all small dishes. Special (and tasty) vegetarian dishes. We have been here two evenings in a row and will definitely come back when we are in the area!

I have had the privilege of photographing a wedding here several times as a photographer. The last time even in the greenhouse, which was a big wish of mine. It is incredibly beautiful here, the food is good, but especially the service stands out for me. Really that personal touch and it feels really friendly. I would definitely recommend this location as a wedding location and do so regularly!

This allows you to enjoy more dishes, this is a nice concept! + Interior is neat, toilets are clean. +/- Prices are average. - No negatives, we will definitely come back!

We celebrated our wedding here all day last week on February 7, 2025 and it was really well taken care of and arranged! We also received many compliments from our guests about the service and care of the day, dinner and party! The Tower thinks along very well and really listens to our wishes. In addition, we also had many options for our own input, which allowed us to really add a personal touch to our wedding. Thanks again to all the staff who helped make our wedding an unforgettable day!

Recently introduced to the new menu, we were not really enthusiastic about the food, I had beef salad with prawns at an additional cost and my wife had seafood salad, we found the salad very bland, I missed salt and sour, in addition it was very a lot of lettuce and little diamond tenderloin, but it was a large plate, and it was also served with fries We sat at the front behind the glass where it was not pleasant to stay, you were in a rush because the doors did not close properly, the service is just good and the ambiance is perfectly fine, it looks so cozy when you walk up

Good food, but a pity that we were led to a dark back room due to renovations. Too bad this was not mentioned when booking.

Sooo sorry I didn't take a picture! The food was really overwhelming. They also have mini sizes for almost everything, which is significantly cheaper, so you can enjoy delicious food without eating too much. I will definitely come back here very soon!

Very nice place to eat. We went there for dinner whilst on holiday in the area and was not disappointed. The spare ribs were 'lekker'. Tip - there is an English language version of the menu on the website. It made things easier for tourists like us!
