In my opinion, this is one of the best Moroccan bakeries with delicious, high-quality bread and pastries! It's all the more unfortunate that the staff is so incredibly unfriendly. I always try to be cheerful, with a friendly word and a smile when it's finally my turn. But no, I always get a blunt, half-hearted response, and no smile. For the sake of peace, I always try to keep my composure when I'm in the shop and I'm treated unfriendly and curtly. This always leaves me with a very bad feeling. I feel very sorry for this wonderful bakery, but I'd rather not come here again. Today was the last straw, unfortunately. Dear owner, you have a wonderful shop and products; it's a shame that this is overshadowed by the very unfriendly and rude staff.

Terribly unfriendly staff. The ladies behind the counter think they're great! However, customer friendliness and service are alien to them, absolute arrogance at its finest. I don't feel welcome at all in this store. I'll never go back.

I usually don't leave reviews, good or bad, for small, trivial things, but I wanted to share this one. I see I'm not the only one experiencing this poor service here! I don't even live nearby, but every time I drive past, I stop to buy delicious pastries and desserts from this bakery. On my first visit, I was treated unprofessionally by a woman with curly hair. She came across as arrogant and didn't say hello or goodbye. Today, she helped me for the second time (and I thought, "Oh no, that woman again"), and the same thing happened again... no greeting/no goodbye. She walks away and leaves your order somewhere, after which you have to ask if it's really yours (I'm dying). It doesn't seem to be in her nature, which is a shame. Hopefully, I'll encounter friendlier colleagues next time. Sorry for the two stars.

I picked up some treats and have to say: the quality is excellent, nothing to complain about. It's just a shame that around 11:00 a.m. some of the savory snacks were already gone and they weren't making any more. That would have completely ruined the visit.

If you're looking for service, don't! I doubt some of the girls behind the counter have ever been in a classroom.

I picked up a cake. Always delicious. One disadvantage is often having to wait in line.

Boulangerie Marrakech is a wonderful bakery with delicious fresh bread and pastries. Everything tastes truly artisanal, and you can smell the aroma of freshly baked bread the moment you step inside. The croissants and Moroccan specialties are exceptionally delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good bread and sweet treats.

They have two types of cakes, one of which is whipped cream cake (not sure 😁). I’m not sure about the other one. I bought the whipped cream cake chocolate flavor, and it’s really good. I recommend it.

I ordered tiramisu and clearly asked the employee for tiramisu, yet I received a kind of whipped cream cake. A big disappointment.

I think I wrote a review here once, but it seems it was deleted. In the early years, this was a good place for bread and pastries. Now it's just for bread. The pastries have become smaller, more expensive, and less flavorful. You might as well eat a pack of sugar. The service also went downhill, with an older woman being very rude to male customers. Fortunately, the young women are polite to everyone.

Very unfriendly. A reason for me not to go there anymore. They let their own culture push forward and made me wait. Ugh, what bad manners.

Unfortunately, yesterday I was helped very badly by a young girl. She was very unfriendly and helped me in a nasty way. At the end, after she had accepted the money, she suddenly just walked away without saying anything. There were several bags on the counter and I didn't even know which one was mine. This is a very nice place where I always enjoy coming, but unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the service yesterday.

Always order cakes from Marrakech and always satisfied. Only last time I ordered 1 birthday cake for myself. Then I was honestly disappointed. It was not how I wanted it and looked a bit poor, but the taste was delicious as always. And very sweet helpful and customer friendly employees there

Every time I hope it is a snapshot, but unfortunately it always turns out to be the same: bad service. The women behind the counter are invariably unfriendly, grumpy and speak to you almost snappily. Customer friendliness seems hard to find here. Too bad, because I like to support local entrepreneurs, but this way it feels absolutely not pleasant to step in here. No next time for me.

Visited this bakery in Feb 25. It was recommended by brother who stays in osdorp. We had a very unpleasant experience. We waited patiently in the queue for our chance but after we entered the bakery when our chance came we were totally ignored. Despite waiting for 15–20 minutes, no one came to take our order or even acknowledge us. What made it worse was seeing the staff serve other customers who arrived after us, while continuing to ignore us completely. Extremely disappointing service. We ended up leaving without being served. We understand the bakery serves its loyal customers who are localities but this no way to treat tourist. We stood patiently but no one even bothered to look at us.Not likely to return.

They have various type of the bakery products. I went for the sweets and whatever I got was just perfect. As I am Turkish, I really like the products similar to baklava 😊

Always a great experience at Bakery Marrakech! Everything is super fresh – from the baguette to the Moroccan cookies and exclusive pastries. You taste and see the quality. Everything is beautifully packed and the staff is always friendly. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Delicious bread so good in fact that there is always a huge queue before it's your turn!

Please try the little coconut balls. It’s lemon and orange peel flavored inside. It’s crazy good!! I never thought it’d be this good by the looks of it.

Used to buy bread and bakery here daily almost daily but since they sell a lot, it seems by their attitude of the ladies that are behind the counter that it bothers them to customers to come, they act like if they are doing you a favour selling you their bread. Very bad service, not customer oriented and long faces, messy system, crowded, not coming back anymore, I will try the other bakeries in the street and neighbourhood.

We are regular customers here. They have delicious bread, but also tasty pastries... good msmen (Moroccan pancake). My father also enjoys the briwat. Today I enjoyed the delicious Dubai pastries with a friend!

We love coming here for the delicious bread and cakes. However, something we’ve noticed more than once is the attitude and behavior of the staff (specifically the young women working there). They often come across as arrogant, sighing, yawning, avoiding eye contact while we’re speaking, and chatting with each other while we’re still in the middle of being served. I didn’t say anything at the time, but I do believe this should be addressed by a manager. The quality of the products deserves staff who reflect that same standard in their customer service.

Being a Moroccan grown up in Morocco living in Amsterdam for work I always struggled to find “a real Moroccan bakery” and then I found this place. I’m shocked that it’s actually better Bakery than many even in Morocco itself😅. Glad I found it!

Only place where I get cake for years

Quality was superb. Very nice staff, even received tips for a next visit to Morocco. It is nice and quiet in the morning, there are queue gates, so it will sometimes be busy. Logical with such delicious food.

Actually everything is tasty, fresh and of high quality. However, I noticed that in the past year the sizes of Baghrir and 7archa have shrunk. These products have become a lot smaller and thinner for the same money. It's a shame! Because it is already quite pricey per piece. The 7archa has become super thin and ini mini.

Bad experience! The cashier was rude. Bad service, low quality and not worth the money.

While we were waiting in line, they took their acquaintances for us. We objected to this and they started arguing with us. They are very disrespectful and rude. I don't think I'll go there again and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

For an Eid celebration for my work, I was contacted by email to place a large order for 80-90 people. I was worried because I had to arrange it and everything can be promised via email, but whether it will actually be delivered is usually the question. I got to the store on time and my order was ready for me! All my non-Moroccan colleagues enjoyed all the delicious cows, fresh and warm baghrir and msemen. Next year I will have a reliable address where I can safely place my order.

Was ripped off and overcharged! Paid 90 euros for a small cake and some savory samosas. Also no prices listed so they can say whatever when ringing you up. Be very careful when checking out and ask prices of everything before! Seems they have different prices depending on who it is. Prices must be listed or it’s against the law! Also service people are very rude and non helpful to people not familiar with what kind of pastries they are when asking questions was told I was annoying. Nice pastries but not enough to be ripped off and be spoken to rudely

Delicious and fresh bread, often busy but definitely worth the wait!

Got pastries today and unfortunately very disappointed. Small pastries with raspberry on top were rock hard, old and unedible. Throw it away immediately because it can make you sick. This is very bad for such a busy bakery. The service is also bad, unfriendly staff.

I was in the line everybody ignored me and they gave service to all people behind me only because im ,,white,,I feel offended because of discrimination!!!!

Aller eerst wil ik zeggen dat dit gewoon de beste Marokkaanse bakker is die ik ken in Amsterdam. Altijd vers en gewoon echt lekker.. . En even serieus elke keer als ik er kom staat er een hele rij. Over het eten geef ik ze zeker 5 sterren. Maar de dames die achter de balie werken vind ik Indd (zoals velen zeggen) wel dat ze vriendelijker mogen zijn en meer mogen glimlachen tegenover de klant toe. Het lijkt alsof ze het niet met liefde maar meer met moeite. Tillen hun voeten niet op als ze lopen maar sleuren deze over de vloer alsof ze moe zijn.. en dat stralen ze uit. Jammer. Het is een Sfeer van “stress” en “schiet op”.

The little cakes were much better than expected, also with good price. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a lot of savory Moroccan pastries. They look good but not my taste. Looking at the big line they always have, i assume they are well done.

Walked in yesterday December 7th. I live in Marrakech for six months and the name of the boulangerie made me want to walk in. Unfortunately, very disappointing upon arrival. Unfriendly staff. I asked if pancake is filled with onions, or in other words filled with some pancake. My question was looked away with venom. Asked the 2nd person, who roughly said yes, ehh, I don't know and immediately looked away. I said how can you not know what you are selling, to which staff shrugged their shoulders and moved on. Another staff said yes, there are onions in pancakes. Now it turns out that pancake is filled with minced meat. I am now not allowed to eat meat due to an intestinal disorder. In the city of Marrakech itself, the service is of a higher standard. Also have a nameplate on what they sell, at least know what they sell. Hospitality = service Marrakech. This place is not good for boulangerie Marrakech standards. What a staff with no knowledge of what they are selling!

Ik was benieuwd, want ik hoorde allemaal verschillende verhalen & dat lees je ook in de reviews. De drie dames die vandaag werkten, waren echt vriendelijk. Ik heb om half 4 stokbrood gehaald en die waren super vers. De koekjes die ik heb gekocht, smaken ook echt heerlijk. Ga zo door!

Ich habe schon viele arabische Süßigkeiten gegessen. Das waren mit Abstand die Besten 👌🏻👍🏻 Leider so weit weg 😢

Heel jammer personeel mag echt wat vriendelijker want de producten zijn heel lekker en vers. Het mag wat vriendelijker naar klanten toe.

Prima bakkerij om gebakjes ter plekke af te halen. Op bestelling gaat er bij deze bakkerij van alles mis.. Ik heb afgelopen week 2 taart bestellingen gedaan, de eerste bestelling had een compleet andere vulling dan ik besteld had. De tweede bestelling was nergens te vinden in het systeem, taart lag ook niet klaar. Hiervoor heb ik moeten wachten, terwijl je het op zo een dag al druk genoeg hebt met allerlei andere dingen. Ik bestel er in ieder geval niet meer.

Dit zijn oprecht de aller lekkerste koekjes. In heel Nl kan je nergens zulke heerlijke VERSE! Koekjes vinden. Echte noten en amandelen. Geen amandelspijs. Altijd kwaliteit lekker vers brood en koekjes. Zeker meer dan 5 sterren waard.

Ik kom hier altijd en Allahumma baarik lahum, moge Allah de eigenaren(of eigenaar) blijven zegenen en in rizq vermeerderen.

The most professional bakery in Amsterdam to get tastier and quality French baguettes in addition of wide range of traditional Moroccan bread precisely. Most of the time you have to be in a long que of customers to get your bread. You’ll appreciate this experience in Amsterdam.

Winkel ziet er mooi uit, heerlijk brood, maar die dametjes die daar werken hebben geen manieren. Bellen waar klanten bij staan, kijken je niet aan en erg onaardig. Echt geen visitekaartje voor zo een mooie winkel.

The place is always busy, every time that I buy something I need to stay in line for at least 5 min, but honestly, it’s worth it. When you get inside a delicious aroma coming from the bread makes you hungry immediately, and when you at the cakes, you see them organize in a beautiful way. I saw some reviews talking about the staff, indeed they are not super friendly, but it’s because they are trying to do their job as fast as possible to not make people wait in line. And the price is fair, good quality ingredients and fresh fruits. My favorite is the one with pistache and chocolate! 😋 I have never had the cake with slagroom, but let’s face the truth, if you order that, don’t expect something different. I highly recommend!!

We prefer it because it is a halal option. The cake is not perfect but fresh. why is the price not written on the products? I pay different price each time. I paid 10 euros for the rectangular cake I bought last week, this week they said 20 euros for the same cake. legally, you have to write the price of the product on it. why don't you write?

Gisteren na lange tijd geweest. Het ziet er op het eerste gezicht netjes en schoon uit. Alles ziet er ook vers uit. Wat ik heb gekocht smaakte ook zo. Toch wat tips voor jullie, hopelijk hebben jullie er wat aan: Het zou misschien helpen als er kaartjes met naam v d vulling en prijs erbij zouden staan. Gezien het feit dat het nogal ruim is en je het gevoel krijgt dat je snel een keuze moet maken. Het gaat er best gehaast aan toe, dat is wat ik iig heb mogen ervaren. Daarnaast is het ook erg handig om als personeel te weten wat je verkoopt. Ik vroeg of de kipvulling pittig was, ik zag aan de blik van de jonge dame dat ze het niet zeker wist en toch gaf ze aan nee. De vulling van de kipbroodjes bleek toch pittig te zijn bleek achteraf, voor mij geen probleem maar m’n kindjes wel.

Ik had van een vriendin gebakjes gekregen. De tiramisu was het lekkerste en de chocolade mousse voor mij erg machtig. Ik zal zelf een keer langskomen voor een taart en andere lekkernijen en dan weer beoordelen qua klantenservice etc.

Vandaag weer een bezoek gebracht en een lekkere taart mee terug genomen na Enschede, is het reizen waard 1.30 uur
