I order a bday cake and i said that i want chocolate one. I received white slagroom cake. I told the worker that it is not chocolate , but she said that inside is chocolate. So much disappointed because it ends up slagroom cake , not the tasge which i order! Dont order cake from this store.

Today I filed a complaint by email regarding one of your employees with curly hair, with whom I have had several negative experiences. Afterwards, I started reading the reviews and noticed that several customers have had the same negative experience with her. Overall, I find the service in this store disappointing. Customer friendliness is nowhere to be found. A smile or a friendly greeting seems too much to ask. But the employee with curly hair really stands out the most negatively for me. I have had several negative experiences with her by now. Very unfriendly and rude. It therefore does not surprise me at all that multiple customers share similar experiences with her. It is a shame, because the products are reasonably good. But if customers do not feel welcome, the service unfortunately detracts significantly from that. And I hear this from other people around me as well, who for this reason no longer like shopping here. I hope this feedback is taken seriously.

On Monday I took my time to go too this shop too buy my mini chicken pizza like I usually do , but every time I go there I will be ignored and I will see they service people that find me there , and Monday was not the first time 💔people will look at me right inside my eyes and ignore me , that is a bakery it should be inclusive not base on peoples color of skin or if they speak the same language with you , when ever I go too this shop is either the server is call someone behind me serve them before me or I am being ignored and I feel that is completely because of my skin , last month same thing happened a woman was behind me they call her to take her other when I was in front and a lady behind that lady call them out that it was not nice of the lady and the server but they are like oooh sorry , it’s not what we think 💔please fix this it’s too much!!!!

(3) I stood here in the morning as the first customer, like a dog. It says they open at 7:30. Just change that to 7:45 or 7:50. While the door opens and you are welcomed, the employee just continues with other matters behind the counter. If two other customers come in, they are served first. That is a shame. They have tasty snacks, but because of this, I don't want to go there anymore. Don't treat customers like that! The employee was also very slow. It took me 15 minutes for a simple order of 1 cake + a croissant. Service deducted 2 stars. In total, also one star deducted. (2) Ordered a cake here. You have to pay extra for the photo and text. It was said that you could choose between chocolate, whipped cream, coconut, or hazelnut. I wanted the coconut, but hazelnut was charged on the receipt. When I mentioned it, the lady said she had never said coconut. Why do you make round chef's cakes then? The cake was tasty though. Picking up also took a long time because they had to look for the cake. Gave me the impression that a cake was quickly grabbed from the fridge and a photo was taken of it. This was with the timed ordering system using an iPad. Number of stars unchanged. (1) I believe I wrote a review here once but I think it was removed. In the early years, this was a good place for your bread and pastries. Now only for your bread. The pastries have become smaller and more expensive and less flavorful. You might as well eat a bag of sugar. The service had also hit rock bottom with an older lady who was very rude to male customers. Fortunately, the young ladies are polite to everyone and everything.

Do something about your staff! My God, what arrogance and unfriendliness. The food is delicious, but what is written there is simply unacceptable. If I notice being served like this again next time, I will call them out on it, and you won't get a happy, cheerful customer, but a very angry one. Be a bit selective when it comes to staff. If you can't work with people, find another job.

Despite being a regular customer, my recent visit was disheartening, with long waits and interruptions to serve other, seemingly preferred, patrons. Prices are not clearly displayed, and receipts should be provided automatically. Requests for receipts should be handled in a straightforward and courteous manner; when they are instead met with intimidating or impertinent responses, the interaction can feel uncomfortable and fall short of the professionalism expected in a customer-facing establishment.

What a terrible place!!! How can you sell cookies like that? And charge so much for them too!!! The cookies are absolutely inedible, rock hard and completely dried out. Never buy your cookies here!!!!

My afternoon visit was, unfortunately, a series of disappointments. The remarkably long line gave the impression of exceptional quality, but in reality, it proved to be entirely unjustified. The food was substandard and lacked the finesse and care one might reasonably expect in every respect. However, what stood out as particularly unpleasant was the attitude of a male employee, who expressed himself to several ladies in a manner that can be described, at the very least, as unnecessarily sharp and disrespectful. Such an approach contributes in no way to a welcoming environment and raises serious questions about the professionalism within this establishment. The service in general was distant and unhelpful, while the atmosphere also failed to convince at any moment. All in all, the popularity of this location seems to be based on appearances rather than actual quality, and I can therefore hardly recommend it.

Really a bad experience here. I recently saw an older man (I think the boss) yelling really loudly at a girl; it made absolutely no sense and felt super uncomfortable. The food was also a huge disappointment. The pastries weren't tasty, the bread wasn't baked properly, and the cookies just tasted stale. Honestly: not recommended at all. That long line there seems more for show than because it's actually good.

What a fantastic team! Special compliments to Safae, Sara, Rachida, and Nada. Bakkerij Marrakesh is without a doubt the best bakery. I love coming here especially from Amsterdam East. The chicken briwat is absolutely my favorite. I will definitely be back often.

The quality of the cream cake has deteriorated.

Please reduce the amount of sugar in the bread, as it contains too much sugar and baking powder. When we eat bread, we don't distinguish between bread and sweets.

Unfortunately, I've had several bad experiences with the staff. Their attitude is often arrogant and unfriendly, and you feel rushed. This makes shopping here unpleasant for me. The only reason I still go back is for the fresh bread. It's a shame, because with better service, this could be a great place.

I don't even live nearby, but every time I drive past, I stop to buy delicious pastries and desserts from this bakery. On my first visit, I was treated unprofessionally by a woman with curly hair. She came across as arrogant and didn't say hello or goodbye. Today, she helped me for the second time (and I thought, "Oh no, that woman again"), and the same thing happened again... no greeting/no goodbye. She walks away and leaves your order somewhere, after which you have to ask if it's really yours (I'm dying). It doesn't seem to be in her nature, which is a shame. Hopefully, I'll encounter friendlier colleagues next time. Sorry for the two stars.

I picked up some treats and have to say: the quality is excellent, nothing to complain about. It's just a shame that around 11:00 a.m. some of the savory snacks were already gone and they weren't making any more. That would have completely ruined the visit.

Boulangerie Marrakech is a wonderful bakery with delicious fresh bread and pastries. Everything tastes truly artisanal, and you can smell the aroma of freshly baked bread the moment you step inside. The croissants and Moroccan specialties are exceptionally delicious, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone who loves good bread and sweet treats.

They have two types of cakes, one of which is whipped cream cake (not sure 😁). I’m not sure about the other one. I bought the whipped cream cake chocolate flavor, and it’s really good. I recommend it.

Unfortunately, yesterday I was helped very badly by a young girl. She was very unfriendly and helped me in a nasty way. This is a very nice place where I always enjoy coming, but unfortunately I had a very bad experience with the service yesterday.

Every time I hope it is a snapshot, but unfortunately it always turns out to be the same: bad service. The women behind the counter are invariably unfriendly, grumpy and speak to you almost snappily. Visited this bakery in Feb 25. It was recommended by brother who stays in osdorp. We had a very unpleasant experience. We waited patiently in the queue for our chance but after we entered the bakery when our chance came we were totally ignored. Despite waiting for 15–20 minutes, no one came to take our order or even acknowledge us. What made it worse was seeing the staff serve other customers who arrived after us, while continuing to ignore us completely. Extremely disappointing service. We ended up leaving without being served. We understand the bakery serves its loyal customers who are localities but this no way to treat tourist. We stood patiently but no one even bothered to look at us.Not likely to return.

They have various type of the bakery products. I went for the sweets and whatever I got was just perfect. As I am Turkish, I really like the products similar to baklava 😊

Always a great experience at Bakery Marrakech! Everything is super fresh – from the baguette to the Moroccan cookies and exclusive pastries. You taste and see the quality. Everything is beautifully packed and the staff is always friendly. We really enjoyed it. Highly recommended!

Used to buy bread and bakery here daily almost daily but since they sell a lot, it seems by their attitude of the ladies that are behind the counter that it bothers them to customers to come, they act like if they are doing you a favour selling you their bread. Very bad service, not customer oriented and long faces, messy system, crowded, not coming back anymore, I will try the other bakeries in the street and neighbourhood.

We are regular customers here. They have delicious bread, but also tasty pastries... good msmen (Moroccan pancake). My father also enjoys the briwat. Today I enjoyed the delicious Dubai pastries with a friend!

We love coming here for the delicious bread and cakes. However, something we’ve noticed more than once is the attitude and behavior of the staff (specifically the young women working there). They often come across as arrogant, sighing, yawning, avoiding eye contact while we’re speaking, and chatting with each other while we’re still in the middle of being served. I didn’t say anything at the time, but I do believe this should be addressed by a manager. The quality of the products deserves staff who reflect that same standard in their customer service.

Being a Moroccan grown up in Morocco living in Amsterdam for work I always struggled to find “a real Moroccan bakery” and then I found this place. I’m shocked that it’s actually better Bakery than many even in Morocco itself😅. Glad I found it!

Quality was superb. Very nice staff, even received tips for a next visit to Morocco. It is nice and quiet in the morning, there are queue gates, so it will sometimes be busy. Logical with such delicious food.

Actually everything is tasty, fresh and of high quality. However, I noticed that in the past year the sizes of Baghrir and 7archa have shrunk. These products have become a lot smaller and thinner for the same money. It's a shame! Because it is already quite pricey per piece. The 7archa has become super thin and ini mini.

For an Eid celebration for my work, I was contacted by email to place a large order for 80-90 people. I was worried because I had to arrange it and everything can be promised via email, but whether it will actually be delivered is usually the question. I got to the store on time and my order was ready for me! All my non-Moroccan colleagues enjoyed all the delicious cows, fresh and warm baghrir and msemen. Next year I will have a reliable address where I can safely place my order.

Was ripped off and overcharged! Paid 90 euros for a small cake and some savory samosas. Also no prices listed so they can say whatever when ringing you up. Be very careful when checking out and ask prices of everything before! Seems they have different prices depending on who it is. Prices must be listed or it’s against the law! Also service people are very rude and non helpful to people not familiar with what kind of pastries they are when asking questions was told I was annoying. Nice pastries but not enough to be ripped off and be spoken to rudely

Got pastries today and unfortunately very disappointed. Small pastries with raspberry on top were rock hard, old and unedible. Throw it away immediately because it can make you sick. This is very bad for such a busy bakery. The service is also bad, unfriendly staff.

Aller eerst wil ik zeggen dat dit gewoon de beste Marokkaanse bakker is die ik ken in Amsterdam. Altijd vers en gewoon echt lekker.. . En even serieus elke keer als ik er kom staat er een hele rij. Over het eten geef ik ze zeker 5 sterren. Maar de dames die achter de balie werken vind ik Indd (zoals velen zeggen) wel dat ze vriendelijker mogen zijn en meer mogen glimlachen tegenover de klant toe. Het lijkt alsof ze het niet met liefde maar meer met moeite. Tillen hun voeten niet op als ze lopen maar sleuren deze over de vloer alsof ze moe zijn.. en dat stralen ze uit. Jammer. Het is een Sfeer van “stress” en “schiet op”.

The little cakes were much better than expected, also with good price. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have a lot of savory Moroccan pastries. They look good but not my taste. Looking at the big line they always have, i assume they are well done.

Walked in yesterday December 7th. I live in Marrakech for six months and the name of the boulangerie made me want to walk in. Unfortunately, very disappointing upon arrival. Unfriendly staff. I asked if pancake is filled with onions, or in other words filled with some pancake. My question was looked away with venom. Asked the 2nd person, who roughly said yes, ehh, I don't know and immediately looked away. I said how can you not know what you are selling, to which staff shrugged their shoulders and moved on. Another staff said yes, there are onions in pancakes. Now it turns out that pancake is filled with minced meat. I am now not allowed to eat meat due to an intestinal disorder. In the city of Marrakech itself, the service is of a higher standard. Also have a nameplate on what they sell, at least know what they sell. Hospitality = service Marrakech. This place is not good for boulangerie Marrakech standards. What a staff with no knowledge of what they are selling!

Ik was benieuwd, want ik hoorde allemaal verschillende verhalen & dat lees je ook in de reviews. De drie dames die vandaag werkten, waren echt vriendelijk. Ik heb om half 4 stokbrood gehaald en die waren super vers. De koekjes die ik heb gekocht, smaken ook echt heerlijk. Ga zo door!

Ich habe schon viele arabische Süßigkeiten gegessen. Das waren mit Abstand die Besten 👌🏻👍🏻 Leider so weit weg 😢

Prima bakkerij om gebakjes ter plekke af te halen. Op bestelling gaat er bij deze bakkerij van alles mis.. Ik heb afgelopen week 2 taart bestellingen gedaan, de eerste bestelling had een compleet andere vulling dan ik besteld had. De tweede bestelling was nergens te vinden in het systeem, taart lag ook niet klaar. Hiervoor heb ik moeten wachten, terwijl je het op zo een dag al druk genoeg hebt met allerlei andere dingen. Ik bestel er in ieder geval niet meer.

Dit zijn oprecht de aller lekkerste koekjes. In heel Nl kan je nergens zulke heerlijke VERSE! Koekjes vinden. Echte noten en amandelen. Geen amandelspijs. Altijd kwaliteit lekker vers brood en koekjes. Zeker meer dan 5 sterren waard.

Ik kom hier altijd en Allahumma baarik lahum, moge Allah de eigenaren(of eigenaar) blijven zegenen en in rizq vermeerderen.
