Surprisingly how much fun Jeu de Boules can be

We recently had a wonderful evening with our family. We started with the F1 experience. A really fun experience! Afterward, we went inside to play pétanque. It's a charming venue, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the snacks were delicious. The venue also invites you to stay longer for drinks. Highly recommended!

The tracks could use some maintenance. They're uneven, with lots of bumps and very little gravel. The food was good, though. A delicious burger and fries. The dessert for a group of 16 was a bit much for the chef. The crème brûlée was just vanilla custard with a light dusting of sugar.

The Catan competition was well-organized, so I give them credit for that. It would have been helpful to have a clear running route.

We went sim racing and playing pétanque with our group of friends. Everything was perfectly organized and the service was excellent. We were also well looked after with drinks and snacks during and between the activities. Highly recommended!

Our family had a fantastic evening at Boules in Nijmegen! First, an hour of energetic Jeu de Boules (outside, but also indoors), followed by half an hour of digital Formula 1 racing. Really cool and surprisingly exciting. The bitterballen (Dutch meatballs) were perfect, as was the service: friendly and attentive. The beer? Wide selection, all served nice and cold. The venue is surprisingly spacious and has a great atmosphere, really cozy. It's also ideal for a staff party. We had a great time. Highly recommended!

Nice and attractive location! We had a nice afternoon here at the back of the greenhouse with a game of jeu de boules and Jenga. The service was fast and they regularly asked if everything was okay. Enough jobs and everything at the jobs is provided. The only downside was that it quickly became warm in the greenhouse on a warm, sunny day, but other than that, we will definitely come back.

"Balls, burgers and boules – what more could you want?" Last weekend we laughed, threw and enjoyed three hours with the Vormkracht10 team at The Boules Club in Nijmegen. And WOW, what a great evening. We started with an hour of fanatic Jeu de Boules (yes, there were drops of sweat and high-fives). With two courts and a good dose of competitiveness, it seemed as if we were participating in the Olympic Games in the South of France. Then: food. In a greenhouse. On the aft deck. Sounds chic, but above all it was very chill. Think: fries with pulled pork, half a meter of chicken (yes, literally), and burgers that will leave you speechless. We are seriously considering taking our lunch breaks here from now on. Then another hour of playing marbles with adult balls — all while enjoying drinks and good vibes. Realm? 10/10. Service? As if your favorite aunt brought you a beer. Location? A Pinterest dream with bocce courts. Shout out to the team at The Boules Club: you provided the perfect mix of fun, goodies and laidback vibes. Nice concept and nice place to have something to eat and drink with a group while playing a game of Jeu de Boules. Surprisingly it was quite a large location with several courses. The food was excellent and the waiter regularly asked if we wanted anything to eat or drink. Nothing to complain about.

Well arranged. It's just a pity that there was suddenly ~200 extra on the account, while a fixed amount had been agreed.

Sim racing at the Boules Club in Nijmegen is an absolute must for every Formula 1 fan! As someone who has experienced the adrenaline of the grandstand in Austria, I can say with certainty that this is a fantastic way to step into the shoes of an F1 driver. The simulators are of high quality and give a very realistic image of racing on a circuit. You feel every bump, every bend and every change in the grip of Boules Club. absolutely top

It is a fun place to go for a corporate event. Personality I would not take my date here but if you are a jeux de boules fan you should. The F1 simulator is awesome. They have 20! The food is a very simple concept.

What a unique place to have a bite to eat and play a relaxing game at the same time! The combination of good food and a fun activity makes this a great experience. We came for lunch and at that time only burgers were available. A bit limited choice, but tasty chicken burger and crispy fries! Friendly service, who will also refresh the rules of the game for you. The atmosphere is cozy and invites you to stay longer, especially in the upstairs room, the terrace outside or the courtyard. Highly recommended for an afternoon out with friends, colleagues or family. I will definitely come back to enjoy a nice drink and a game of Jeu de boules.

Nice place, highly recommended to go with friends if you want to do something different than the standard “terraces” or “drink (special) beer”. Secretly, pétanque is also quite a tactical game, where your fanaticism comes to the fore.

Worthless service. Price quality poor. We were at bulls and bites nijmegen on Friday with a total of 18 colleagues. We had bought everything: drinks, food and unlimited games. Had the first drink after 1 hour 15 minutes after asking 4 times. Then have a drink about once every 30 minutes. Waitress didn't see us. Management knows nothing about blowing or blowing the whistle. The food arrived around 8:30 and was “okay”. For the price we paid it was mediocre. The fact that we were allowed to stay a little longer does not detract from the bad experience.

Super fun place to spend the whole evening with friends. Great to do something different than usual, bocce is not every day but it is fun. They also have a very cool sim racing, where you all race against each other. Very nicely set up and the moderator did a great job of motivating and moving along with the game. You feel welcome and appreciated. Definitely recommended for a night out.

A very nice activity bar. From the outside you don't even realize that this area is huge. Multiple play areas. The car simulators in the basement are also impressive.

Okay place, not special and quite pricey

Boules & Shared dining is highly recommended if you like to drink beer or wine. I don't drink much myself and I think the price is quite high for what you get.

We had a nice evening but the courts were so bad! There was almost no gravel on it, so the balls went in all directions. The pulled chicken nachos were really tasty, but the price of the appetizers and the nachos were, in my opinion, disproportionate

We were here yesterday with a group of friends. Unfortunately, half of our group of friends was late. I had made a reservation at 8:00 PM. So on a Tuesday evening. But because it was so quiet we were fortunately able to make up for lost time in the next hour. I thought that was really neat. In any case, we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Jeu de boules is also really fun to do with a few beers. Everyone had a good time. It's a shame that it was so quiet. Only when we entered there was a group of 4 girls. We were alone upstairs at the Jeu de boules area. They played nice music there. But in the end there were a few complaints unfortunately 😁 When we wanted to order a drink at about 8:45 PM, that was no longer possible. The staff didn't know how to make that. Snacks could just be done away with. And then you bear the name boulesbites bar. We thought that was a bit scanty😞 At about 9:15 PM we were told that they were about to close. While the site actually states that they are open until 11:30 PM on Tuesday evenings. And the air conditioning was really too cold. You just had to keep your coat on 🥶 But otherwise we had a nice evening here

We played a competition here for 2 hours with 13 men on 3 indoor courts. Wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Excellent staff. We enjoyed a very successful outing together

Very nice for a team outing. Nice atmosphere, excellent service, tasty snacks and drinks. Very warm, better ventilation/air conditioning would not be an unnecessary luxury. Update after new visit: reduced to 3 stars. Service was very poor. Very long wait for drinks. Something constantly went wrong, wrong drink, etc. Ventilation is still poor.

Had to wait 40 minutes for our drinks which only came after the third time we asked. That kind of ruined the hour of boule, which was otherwise fine. Music also only came on when we asked. I would say go bowling in a park if you like it and then go for a beer in another café.

Been with family and children. Place is not intended for families with children. No menus for children. The combination deal is also not ideal for adults. On the hamburger menu, the sauce could be better suited to the burger, bread a little smaller and a little more fries. The chicken skewer could get more attention. Too much chicken (rather less chicken that is juicy than a lot of chicken that is on the dry side). Lots of fries with the chicken skewer. Creme bruille dessert comes from the refrigerator (and before that the freezer?) In short, go there afterwards as an outing without children. A regular toilets were clogged. Both for men and women. There are also toilets one floor lower as you walk between the lanes. Much cleaner. It's not the staff's fault. Young staff who do their best. Probably need professional guidance.

Had dinner here with 19 colleagues last Wednesday and played jeu de boules. We had a great evening. The food was delicious, the courses were in good condition and the atmosphere was good! The service was perfect. We would love to come back here again!

Nice location for playing Jeu des Boules. From young to old we had an hour of fun here.

Het was goed verzorgd, zowel qua baan, eten als service. Alleen was het er erg koud op de boven verdieping.

Heerlijke plek, leuk concept. Een uur is leuk, onder tussen lekker kletsen en wat drinken.

Lekker gegeten en goed vermaakt met het spel samen met de familie, erg fijne locatie. Mensen die puur voor het spel komen: let op, de banen zijn wat kort (ongeveer 6-7 meter)

Erg leuk en heerlijke hamburgers.

Jammer dat Huub niet meer speelt met zijn muzikanten. De frequentie lag misschien te hoog? Erg goede muzikanten.

Leuke locatie voor een leuk avondje uit met vrienden. Jammer dat ze kort geleden stroomstoring hadden gehad waardoor de banen buiten minder goed verlicht waren. ‘S avonds trad er een band op, dit gaf wel sfeer. Alleen de muziek stond naar onze mening veel te hard..

Leuke banen met lekkere hapjes. De muziek stond op festival standje en de ober kon ons niet verstaan. Ook waren meerdere van ons gezelschap prikkelgevoelig

Leuke plek, heel vrolijk ingericht. Heb er niks gegeten want was er voor een latinfeest. Bijzonder dat alles op verschillende etages is en toch verbonden en achter hebben ze nog een lekkere tuin waar je kunt relaxen

Erg leuk bediening kan nog wat training gebruiken

Eten wat we besteld hadden was er niet. Niet vooraf gecommuniceerd, gewoon wat anders gekregen. Vlees was droog. Toetje erg lekker.

Wat een fijne plaat met slecht weer, of je ergens op een pleintje in Frankrijk bent. Was via social deal, daar was niet helemaal duidelijk wat je nou kon kiezen voor het eten, de een zei alleen de burgers, en de ander zei ook nog kipspies,.Helaas was de visburger erg zompig.

Hele leuke locatie om te borrelen en jeu de boelen! Vergis je bij het reserveren er niet in hoe kort een uurtje spelen is!

Leuke tent en gave locatie, maar de service was erg onverschillig. Als de prijs dan zo hoog is (>€25 voor half uur jeu de boules) hoort daar een lage waardering bij. Eten hadden we niet dus kan ik niet beoordelen.

Heerlijk eten en gezellig genoeg

BoulesBitesBar in Nijmegen bood een arrangement aan dat enigszins karig was voor de prijs. Hoewel het gezellig was, zijn de banen te kort om het spel naar behoren te kunnen spelen. Het concept is echter wel aantrekkelijk en de sfeer was aangenaam. Het BBB-arrangement had echter meer inhoud mogen hebben om de prijs te rechtvaardigen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De gerechten en hapjes waren smaakvol, maar het aanbod was beperkt. De locatie is redelijk centraal gelegen en gemakkelijk bereikbaar. Al met al was het een leuke ervaring, maar er zijn zeker verbeterpunten nodig om het arrangement aantrekkelijker te maken voor de prijs.

Jeu de boules was erg leuk om te spelen. Ook het dranken arrangement erbij geboekt voor een uur. Duurde 25 minuten voordat de eerste drankjes er waren en daarna geen drank meer opgenomen, zelf naar de bar moeten lopen om te bestellen, ondanks dat het niet druk was. Geen aanrader om het dranken arrangement erbij te boeken voor de prijs en service die je krijgt

Leuk avondje jeux de boulen. De sfeer is goed en er zijn redelijk wat banen (meerdere etages). Reserveren is wel nodig, het is redelijk druk.

Onze moederdag activiteit 😊 met 7 mensen voor 2 uurtjes een binnenbaan genomen. Heel veel lol gehad. Alleen is de baan erg hard met steentjes waardoor de ballen soms alle kanten uit vliegen. Samen met wat drankjes en hapjes een leuke start van de avond.

Eten was ok. Personeel was erg aardig. Banen wat kort (en prijzig als je met z'n 2en bent). We hadden een toffe avond

Leuk concept. De JdB banen zijn niet prettig, keiharde ondergrond, grit op beton.

Grappige moderne versie van een oeroud spel. Ik verwachtte een oubollige avond, maar het was zowaar een gezellig event, en iedereen werd competitief. Het was fijn dat het binnen was. Locatie was schoon en netjes. Toiletten oogden schoon, je moet wel een trap af, dus lastiger als je slecht ter been bent. Bediening was vriendelijk maar wel een beetje chaotisch. We kregen een dienblad biertjes (en moesten die ook betalen) terwijl we die niet hadden besteld en dit ook aangaven. Vreemd. Ook de groepen naast ons hadden niets besteld. Al met al was het menu wel prima. Er waren wat weinig ballen op mijn baan, waardoor we steeds moesten improviseren.

We kwamen op een goede tijd, was jog niet druk maar leuke tent waar je netjes jeu de Boules kan spelen in een soort van zandbakken. Eten/hapjes waren zeer aangenaam
