Worse than bad. Possibly the worst fries I've ever had. Had to wait over half an hour for two fries that tasted more like a soggy potato mess.

I always loved going to Bram's for the delicious fries. But oh, how bad it's gotten. Soggy fries and a 45-minute wait for an order of two fries. I'd read some bad reviews but couldn't imagine it. It used to be so good! But yes, it's true. So bad, never again.

The Koemarkt branch is disappointing. They sell "halal" snacks, but they're simply fried in the same oil as non-halal snacks (e.g., bitterballen). This means the "halal" snacks are no longer halal due to cross-contamination. If you ask if something is halal, they simply say "yes," but you only get the full story about the shared oil if you ask further. I find that very reprehensible. This kind of thing needs to be properly arranged or at least be honest about. People need to be able to trust what you say, especially when it comes to halal. Other branches in Rotterdam (such as the one on Schiedamseweg) do have this well-organized because their entire product range is halal. This prevents confusion and creates clarity for everyone!

What horribly disgusting fries. Nasty dark brown fries with absolutely no flavor. Three-quarters were thrown away. Bram's been Bram for ages. Last time I'll ever eat anything there. Truly disgusting and tasteless.

I don't know what happened to Bram Ladage...they used to be good, tasty fries...well, I got fries today, damn it! The fries were greasy and lumpy. They looked awful, and they certainly weren't tasty, and for that price! I called them, and they said they couldn't do anything about it. They said it was because of the new harvest...maybe they could, but an apology would definitely have been appropriate. They'll NEVER see me there again! Anyone can make a mistake or have bad products, but if someone says something about it, take responsibility and apologize. That would make a huge difference....Ugh, yuck, and more yuck.

Unfortunately, I encountered unpleasant service once again. My friend and I ordered a broodje frikandel, large fries and a chocolate shake. After a long wait (despite the lack of a queue and people), the young man handed us a bun. After another wait, when the frikandel was already cold, we asked for the rest of the order. The young blonde looked at us with contempt and said: "I will" and rolled her eyes. After graciously handing out the fries, we had to ask for a shake, because the employees decided to ignore everything and focus on themselves. The service is terrible.

They give my order for an other person . The person come back after 5 minute he take out the burger from the box and show them . They say sorry and than they give me that burger what the people already touch it . Please if you dont know the hygiene rules better close that dirty place .

Unfortunately my food was not there and they did not want to deliver it. And I could only be put on a list. And then see if the amount will be deducted the next time. Because even then you have to pay first…..! It is really purely the service. Of course you can always forget something but solve it right away.

What uninterested staff in the center of Schiedam. First it went wrong with the checkout, I paid for 2 cheese soufflés and fries and I ordered 1 fries with 2 veal croquettes first got 2 croquettes without fries then I got fries without a bag but paid for it. Within 2 minutes at home fries cold croquettes lukewarm. Next time I'll think about whether I still want to go there.

It's ridiculous how much portion you get with a large fries (takeaway). I could literally count them. Last time they also forgot to add sauces but they were charged for it.

After the flea market we decided to get something to eat at this location. Fortunately, they worked with a large and friendly team. Everything was well prepared and served hot. That was different before when we received wrong and cold orders and had to pay extra when we still wanted our actual order. The new team is hospitable and can still offer quality on a busy day like King's Day. These 5 stars are well deserved.

My son and I often get fries when we are at a new passage, but now two weeks in a row, something went wrong with the order. Last time the sauce was not included and the last time I clearly indicated to bring it. The fries are ready and the sauce has been put on it, so I say I wanted to take it with me. My interpretation of the looks from the employees was, pfff, we can just put it in a bag, but I didn't want that. Well I now received half a bag of fries, mostly with leftover fries. Very long review, but I no longer get fries from this Bram on the weekend because there is a difference in the quality whether I get it during the week or at the weekend.

I have to give it one star, what antisocial staff. I received fries that were not cooked properly. I went back and indicated that it was not cooked properly. The so-called manager started a discussion with me about the fact that it was cooked and kept commenting. I then asked for my money back because you don't treat your customers like that. I was not satisfied with my order and instead of baking again I received a lot of comments. To make it even more fun, the staff participated nicely. I will never come here again!! Today I wanted a Brammetje and asked if my fries could be extra fried, unfortunately that was not to my liking. I said I wasn't satisfied and she said no problem, you'll get a new one; well I thought that was really cool and it immediately tasted better, not only that it was exactly how I wanted it, but the friendliness and service to the customer made it happen. Most of the food we ordered was really good but the local unique croquettes were not tasty at all! The meat of the burger had a weird taste and the lettuce was not fresh. The staff working here are very nice and friendly! I would give them 5/5 for their service! The only reason I would come back would be for the fries!

Bram Ladage fries is a real experience that perhaps only Rottuhdammers (and Schiedammers) understand, but a fries war from Bram is simply delicious, period! You must indicate here that you want the fries to be well cooked, otherwise you will often end up with limp, raw fries...

Always the tastiest snacks, fries/fries, ice cream, milkshakes and more. My recommendation: French fries (peanut sauce and mayo) with onions.

Great fries, but if you constantly forget the sauce (now again the peanut sauce and mayonnaise) then that is quite annoying and the tasty fries actually pale into insignificance. *tip from me* don't just read the order, but also check whether it is in the bag!!!!

Unfortunately, the last few times we have not had good experiences with this Bram Ladage. The fries are burnt every time and there are only small pieces in the bag. We won't come here anymore!

Ordered online and picked up. None of the three fries had sauce, nor was there salt on them (despite the fact that this had been ordered and charged for). In addition, they had put the bacon on the wrong hamburger. A shame, because the food itself was not bad. If you order here, it is a good idea to check afterwards whether everything is in order.

Great place for a snack... What I did find pricey is the price of two small pieces of soft ice cream...read children's ice cream for very old people, who can best eat soft ice cream in a cup...I asked for a small amount...what do you give...large cup filled ..and the price was really bizarre!!!! No words for... Also, according to you, I was in the wrong line...I moved to the order line...and then I had to go to another line to order from the other employee...where I was before...very special!! ! You could really take into account our very elderly fellow man among us!!! I am a caregiver who treated the residents to an ice cream..

A place where you can buy potato fries! Real, cut from potato, fried in fat! Plus a few other potato dishes, something to drink from a bottle or hot. The service ladies are nice and efficient. It seems like an ordinary street bar, but it makes an impression! Potato fries fried in oil can be ordered with some additions such as sauces or only with salt or pepper. With a bag of fries you can sit at the benches in the street or march further. Nice place for a little something.

Was just there to order something. Very nicely said hello, no one greets back. Staff chatting among themselves. A Dutch gentleman comes after me and is helped immediately and I just wait there. Were very clearly discriminating people. In the end I didn't buy anything and walked away.

Just got something from Ladage again. The famous fries were tasty, but I wouldn't have been surprised if they had asked if I wanted a straw with my frikandel. What a dirty and soggy stick of cornstarch... you can't even call it meat. Bah. Really bad, especially for that money.

I love Schiedam and see it as having such a charming maritime-meets-Europe historical specialty. But food here is dumpy. It's not fair to the residents or to the wonderful location which is so rich and could dramatically win tourists who want to do gourmet here. Unfortunately the fries are dry and taste like it too. Their suppliers use poor quality potatoes. The owner doesn't care because he is in a,prime and appealing location . It's,so wasteful. I hope someone comes and competes with better fries ! Maybe even Belgian.

There are waste bins around this location with the text 'together we keep Schiedam clean' It's a shame that this slogan does not apply to the staff smoking at the back, as can be seen from the many butts on the ground... The picnic benches don't look like much either...

Delicious fries and wonderful service

We made a stop here for quick snacking while shopping at the nearby 'Passage'. Tried the double beef hamburger. It was not so exceptional, but fine. The pistachio milkshake was awesome 👍🏻 Whenever I had chosen pistachio elsewhere, the flavour used to taste like medicine. But Bram served a really nice milkshake.
