This is my favorite place to get out of the house, open my laptop, grab a coffee / lunch, and get some work done. The staff is great. The sandwiches are good. The noise level is usually not too high to be able to focus. Breakfast selections are a bit slim. The yogurt, croissants with jam, etc are good. But I sometimes crave an uitsmijter, breakfast burritos, or eggs in general. That said, I'm sure that the restaurant knows its clients and the lunches are really nice. The coffee is perfect. I've gone to a lot of cafes with mid cappuccinos / espressos. But, I'm always satisfied at Brandstof.

I recently went for lunch at Lunchroom Fuel and I am absolutely impressed! From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed by the friendly staff and cozy atmosphere. The decor is warm and stylish, with a perfect balance between modern and cozy. The menu offers a fantastic choice of delicacies. I chose the homemade quiche and a fresh salad, and both were delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was clear that fresh and high-quality ingredients were used. The portions were just right, not too much and not too little. What really makes this lunchroom special is the excellent service. The staff were attentive but not intrusive, and made me feel comfortable straight away. They gave great recommendations and made sure everything was to your liking. In addition, the coffee offer is also great! The cappuccino was wonderfully creamy and perfectly brewed, really the ideal ending to a perfect lunch or a delicious matcha is also highly recommended. In short, Lunchroom Fuel is highly recommended for anyone looking for a delicious, relaxing lunch experience. I will definitely come back here!

Very nice place with good food and a nice atmosphere

Sandwiches are really tasty, but I think the price is too high for the sandwiches. The plus point is that it is halal. But the prices are exaggerated. Recommended: special pastrami sandwich and Bali chicken sandwich

Delicious rolls, a bit pricey but the Italian bun is great! Not too hard but tasty.

My girlfriend found a hair in her bun a while back. You might think that could happen. Well, I ate at this place myself only to find a dirty hair in my sandwich!

Okay this was already my favorite sandwich shop, but omg that new pumpkin spice latte🤤 Really to die for!! I like to take people here because everything is so fresh and delicious. My dad loves the ball sandwich, they are just fresh. All the meat is of very good quality and you can taste it! And just really good coffees. As sweet or not sweet as you want.

Klein broodje op een te groot bord, geen rauwkost op het bord om het te verfraaien. Na 2 happen te hebben genomen kwamen we erachter dat het broodje heel zuinig belegd was. Wat van gezegd. Of we een nieuw broodje wilde, graag! Krijgen we hetzelfde broodje terug, zoek maar uit wiens broodje van wie is. Vervolgens niks gezegd maar verder gaan eten. Trekt mijn vriendin bij de eerste hap een haar uit haar mond. Die haar zat helemaal om de zongedroogde tomaat heen gewikkeld. De serveerster weer erbij geroepen. Of we een nieuw broodje willen….. uhhh neee. Eigenaar liep rond en deed of zijn neus bloedde. Absoluut niet voor heehaling vatbaar!!!

Lunch was very tasty, good prices and attentive service.

Unreasonably priced, this was a „large“ cappuccino with oatmilk that I paid a gushing 4,75 for and it tasted mid. This was nowhere near a large cappuccino. The atmosphere is nice and I haven’t tried the food but I wouldn’t recommend the place for coffee.

Fuel has been a phenomenon in shallow with delicious sandwiches for years. However, the quality of the sandwiches is declining and the price has gotten out of hand. Compared to most sandwich shops in Utrecht, they are more expensive and the sandwiches are less well filled. Last time I ordered chicken avocado, there was less than 1/8th of an avocado, the lettuce was hard to find and I had no less than 6 pine nuts on my sandwich. Please provide fuel, for a good price you can also deliver a well-made sandwich. Then I'll come back soon!

Lunchroom as lunchrooms are meant to be. Great service, pleasantly busy but never too busy. No laptops, just delicious sandwiches, coffee and happy faces. Do not tell anyone.

Coffee was good, but the service not so much. The music was too loud and the staff not helpful when I came in with the stroller.

Een lekkere broodjeskaart met broodjes die speciaal voor je belegd worden. Neem daarbij een warme verse koffie en het plaatje is bijna compleet. Compleet werd het met een heerlijke koek uit de vitrine. Het was een feestje om hier te zijn.

I am convinced that these are the best sandwiches in Utrecht. Brand new and always on point, not too much fuss but something for everyone. Always a hit here, never a bad purchase. I'm not impressed with the location as a chill/workplace, but as a pick-up and delivery location they are really great!

Heerlijk broodje balgehakt. Vriendelijk personeel. Aanwinst voor de stad.

Terwijl ik en mijn vriendin onszelf de hele dag zielig aan het vinden zijn, zitten we met een gigantische kater exorbitant te genieten van wat hier zojuist bezorgd is. Sterker nog: we zijn verpest. We aten broodjes met kip en pastrami op olijfciabattas en willen nu nooit meer anders. Na dit ontzaggelijke genot waren we weer helemaal de oude!

Elk broodje dat ik hier heb gegeten, smaakt zo goed! Maar omdat het er zoveel zijn, is de keuze reuze. Vooral de kip met mango chutney is favoriet. Ook lekkere koffie en sapjes 🥰

Wonderful service from Glenda, made good suggestion for a coffee, also when our baby needed changing she found a place for us to complete the task, very good food and customer service, I’ll most certainly return 😀

Lekkere eten en snelle bezorging

Lekkere broodjes en smooties. Veel keuze in wat je erop wilt en ook keuze in wat voor soort brood. Ze hebben ook lekkere yoghurt met fruit en chocolade erin. Zeker een aanrader deze zaak. We bestellen in de toekomst vaker hier.

Vandaag met mijn gezin, vrouw en 3 jonge kinderen van 11,9 en 5 bij brandstof geluncht. De broodjes zijn echt Zupa lekker. Ik had een broodje pirri pirri en kon het niet laten om ook nog een broodje grillworst te nemen. Het was super lekker. Leuke tent ziet er hip, fris en schoon uit. Mijn complimenten voor het personeel. Heel vrolijk en je zag ze hard aan het werk! Volgende keer kom ik zeker weer langs. Een echte aanrader!

Lekkere broodjes! Ruim belegd. Sfeer in de zaak is relaxed en gezellig. Wat ons opviel is die kleine vrouw achter de kassa die continue bezig is met de zaak runnen (manager?) Checkt op een erg vriendelijk en vrolijke manier of alles naar wens is bij klanten. Dit doet zij op een grappige manier! Alleen al daarom komen wij zeker terug!

Enorm leuke lunchroom, gezellige sfeer, eten is heerlijk en lekkere sapjes. Personeel is erg vriendelijk en een nog vriendelijkere manager!!

Halal, gezond en lekker. Halal vlees komt van een ambachtelijke Halal slager. Ook koffie is supperlekker!

De broodjes zijn lekker en vers echter wel prijzig. Bij een andere lunchroom in de buurt zijn de broodjes een stuk groter, net zo lekker en iets goedkoper.

Naast dat we overdonderd waren door de super versheid van de broodjes, de geweldig lekkere samenstelling van de ingrediënten en de topkwaliteit daarvan, lijkt ons het team van Brandstof ook erg fijn, aardig en zeer goed op lunchroom ingespeeld!! Dus een super fijne tent om te vertoeven en bij te tanken!

Er reeds zo n tien keer geweest. Fantastische kwaliteit. Heerlijk belegde broodjes. Ik ga zelf altijd voor een Italiaanse bol met kip pesto. Soort brood mag je zelf uitkiezen.
