The service is perfect and the tea is excellent, thank you very much!

We came in today and were greeted by 2 guys working there. We sat down looked at the menu and waited for a few minutes. After a while we started watching the workers who were just on their phones chatting with each other not noticing that customers were waiting to be served. We waited for a few more minutes and decided to leave eventually because no one gave us any attention whatsoever. On the way out I confronted them about it telling them they should get off their phones and serve their customers. Instead of getting an apology or something similar I got snarky comments saying I could’ve come as well and that I should chill. I’m sorry but I don’t see a reason why I should get up and come to the waiters because they are being on their phones??

Love this place! Feels like a second home at this point, the staff is super sympathetic and kind and the coffee is really good. Perfect for a cosy work session or a brunch on the weekends.

This place has the best coffees and baristas who give this place a homey and gezellig vibe. I usually come here for my breakfast and morning coffee which are always excellent. A spacious haven in East Utrecht.

Our sandwiches were excellent and the place is so nice to stay We had also carrot cake, banana bread and cookies at the end. The secret garden is very cute

This is my go-to cafe for a small lunch or coffee. Good to read a book or get some work done. They have a large table at the back for coworking.

Do not go there. Bad service, no smile or fake. Smells toilet when we enter. Some insects in the air flying. Table was not cleant before i sat there. Reason why there were insects flying there. Tables around the toilet should be removed for obvious hygiène and smell reasons. Or the toilet should be put downstairs but not in the middle of the restaurant. Good Heart Beet juice and cute terrace. But Bad service and smelly and not hygienic

Coffee was good and a very nice place to sit for brunch. Nothing out of this world, but we were not expecting anything else than good coffee, to be fair. Food on the other hand...not great. We got a Croque Monsieur and a Croque Madame. To say that they were the furthest things from what they are trying to be - is an understatement. We paid 10 and 13.90 respectively for 2 lukewarm ham and cheese sandwiches (with toasted bread and cheese barely melted). If they were called anything else, I would've had no issues at all, but they're definitely not Croque anything. The pricing does not fit the dish as well.

The opening hours are incorrect. It is Saturday and Sunday (July) and the place is still closed at 9am.

Excellent coffee. Sometimes you have to be patient and this week I experienced that I walked in at 4:29 PM and the man behind the bar immediately reported in English that I had the last option to order, even though they state that the place closes at 5 PM. . You really have to stand outside. Yes, real enthusiasts.

Sat in the 'basement' for brunch with a business club. Was very well taken care of. Extensive and fresh! Good coffee 👌🏻. Staff was well organized and pleasant. Would definitely recommend going here for a coffee or lunch date.

We had lunch downstairs because there was no more room upstairs. There is an infrared panel for heating, but it doesn't quite work. It was cold there. We did not find the price/quality of the food to be completely in balance. Almost 11 euros for 2 pulled pork croquettes and 15 euros for a small sandwich sandwich. The most annoying thing is that you cannot pay in cash. We only found this out afterwards. Still 3 stars for the nice staff. There are better alternatives in the area where it is warmer, where the portions are larger and where you can pay with cash.

Great eggs Benedict, or shrimp or cheese croquettes! A bit on the pricey side, but great for when you want to spoil yourself, or take someone out for a cozy Sunday brunch. I also definitely recommend the ham and cheese croissant - best one I’ve had (they use old Bruges cheese which is amazing!)

Very bad experience. First there was only an English menu. Very hip, but we are just in Utrecht. We had 3 children with us. There wasn't really anything on the menu for them except croque monsieur or madam. We asked if they also had a ham/cheese sandwich for the children. Yes, that was no problem. As it turned out, they charged €10.00 per person for those 3 sandwiches (the price of the croque). My 2 croquettes on bread were on a slightly larger croquette. I really won't be coming back here again.

Several times visited. Really nice atmosphere and they have great coffee & cappuccinos; also very good coffee beans for takeaway. Friendly staff. Tip: bear in mind the service might feel slower than other bars if you are sitting, so make sure to spare some time beforehand

Toilet is not fresh. A simple lunch order takes more than 45 minutes. Music is quite loud. No umbrellas outside. Too bad about the beautiful location and the possibilities. A missed opportunity

Vascobelo is located in a beautiful building with a classic interior in one of the most beautiful shopping streets in Utrecht. The espresso is very strong and powerful. Beautiful combination with the chocolate on the saucer. The latte macchiato (oat milk) is velvety soft. Perfect address for top quality coffee, also on the terrace or in the backyard. Friendly and knowledgeable table service. Rightly the pride of Belgian coffee! Perhaps less known to the general public than Italian coffee, but at least just as good. Or better yet...pay a visit and judge for yourself. Highly recommended.

Ronduit een trieste bedoening. De bediening moet het woord vriendelijkheid nog uitvinden. Bijna een half uur moeten wachten voor een bestelling werd opgenomen. Pas na twee keer vragen kwam iemand ons helpen. Tot overmaat van ramp was de kip voor een broodje kip om 13.30 al op. Als de lunchkaart uitgebreid was geweest wellicht niet zo erg. Nu dus wel. Verder verzuimd te vragen naar de behoefte van bruin of wit brood. Voor het uitserveren van de drankjes was het ook weer even wachten. Uitserveren van de gerechten ging met groot chagrijn en zonder aandacht. Even smakelijk eten wensen was er ook niet bij en later even langs te komen om te vragen of het naar wens was ook niet. Gerechten waren bepaald karig voor het geld dat er voor neer getikt moest worden. Afrekenen ging ook met een gezicht als een oorwurn Wellicht nog wat vergeten, maar één ding vergeet ik niet : voortaan een deurtje verder

Vorige week voor het eerst geluncht en om de hoek v/h werk, ideaal! Bediening was top, zeer vriendelijke mensen! Eten is heerlijk! Kortom, zeker aan te bevelen!

Erg lang moeten wachten op 2 tosti’s. Deze stonden op de kaart voor€6,50. We kregen 2 heeeeel kleine sneetjes brood met ham en kaas en een bakje met tomatenketchup. Bij het afrekenen werden de tosti’s aangeslagen voor €7,50!!! Dus teveel betaald en zeker niet de moeite waard! Slechte prijs/kwaliteit verhouding en ook niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

I recently moved to Utrecht but have found my new favorite coffee place. This location is in a busy shopping street, with lots of competition. After visiting many places, I keep coming back here. The staff knows exactly what I like to drink, and the coffee is really great. In addition, there is a casual atmosphere, and smallest details of the old building really make me feel at home. Definitely highly recommended!

Op zich prima cappuccino, ik had gevraagd om extra hot , maar kreeg 'm lauw geserveerd. Omdat ik niet voor verspilling ben, heb ik maar niet om een nieuwe gevraagd. Prima koffiezaak, leuk sfeertje. Drie sterren omdat ik het echt aan de hoge prijs vind (alles op de kaart). Een cappuccino kost 3.65 euro (ze betitelen deze als medium, maar het kopje is een small elders.) I get it, inflatie, hoge inkoopprijzen, maar ik heb het gevoel dat ze bij Vascobello het er wel van nemen om de prijzen zo hoog te maken

I totally loved this place! Went for lunch for my birthday, ordered the chicken and the Belgian stew plus the homemade fries. Everything was delicious and the waitress was attentive, kind and friendly. Reasonably priced for Dutch standards, we will repeat for sure :)

Heerlijke koffie en wat een leuk personeel! Echt genieten in de mooie binnentuin!

Cappuccino met soja melk en er was ook havermelk, dus dan kan er niet veel meer mis gaan denk je... toch hij was niet echt warm en het was wel een warme dag... vond ik jammer. oke had ik misschien moeten zeggen want het personen was erg vriendelijk. Mij vriendin dronk een dubbele espresso die redelijk was, niet heel sterk en voor dubbel wat weinig. De cheese cake was oke ik las elders zelf gemaakt.... Zelf bestelde ik een veggie cappuccino. Dat is een drankje met groente gemixt. Veggie is een rare titel want hij was vegan en veggie is meestal vegetarisch. Nou ja dat was ie ook. Echter kenmerkend voor cappuccino is volgens mij of schuim of melk. Dat had deze niet. Ik was gewaarschuwd toen ik vroeg of dit zelf gemaakt was. Het antwoord was ; nee uit een fles maar wel vers en heel lekker. Het smaakte vooral naar selderij, niet slecht maar voor bijna 7 euro wel aan de prijs en heel lekker is anders. Je zit er leuk, inrichting is speels, wc goed schoon. Toen we afrekenden was het beneden de 10 euro dus ik zei dat klopt niet. Ze hercalculeerde en het werd 18,95. Ik had m'n pasje al langs het apparaat gehaald en dacht dat is nou wel weer erg prijzig. Terug thuis kijkend op de menukaart zie ik dat er een grote cheescake afgerekend is en dat was deze zeker niet. Slordig.
