Beautiful place and with the playground ideal for children.

Super friendly staff. They really take the time to help you. And the pastries (various kinds) and drinks were delicious.

The coffee here is truly delicious and reasonably priced! Unfortunately, the food was rather disappointing; it's actually a bit too expensive. It's a Utrecht problem that sandwiches that should actually cost €8 are sold for €13 to €15. It was also a shame that the service was disappointing, but I understand that on a weekend lunchtime.

Perfect service, delicious sandwiches and cakes. The first time in 2024, coffee was still 'dirty'. An excellent cup of coffee in 2025. I'd love to walk around the block for that!

Ordered take away cappuccino. The friendly lady at the counter asked if I wanted anything tasty and pointed me to the extensive pastry section of this cozy little place. Perhaps she was Mrs. Peer, because the warm hospitality with which she spoke to me was befitting of someone who is the owner. The cappuccino had a strong coffee taste without being bitter and a wonderfully firm milk foam layer that you can still spoon after you have finished the cappuccino. From the pastries I chose the lemon/almond tart. A light and at the same time delicious piece of cake. The portion size was just right and it was a delicious piece of pastry, on the sweet side but that's why it was a winner for me. You cannot see the almond on the outside, but you can clearly taste it. I am very happy with this discovery so close to home and there will be many more to come. I can recommend a visit to everyone! 11-09-2022: The soup is also tasty, as is the ciabatta chicken fillet with bacon and guac and I am a fan of the cinnamon raisin muffins. A few possible improvements: 1: We must close the gate properly behind us, but the operation of the handle on the inside of the gate is not self-evident. I therefore closed the gate with the handle on the outside. (11-09-2022 This appears to be a child lock, so that small children cannot escape and end up under a car or train, so it is indeed the intention for adults to close the gate with the handle on the outside) 2. To attract more customers, I would make it clearer on the outside that you are open and where the entrance can be found and perhaps also mention a few things that can be purchased from you, such as delicious coffee. I felt a bit of a barrier to entering, as if I was entering forbidden territory. (11-09-2022 update: this has been completely resolved) 3. There are 3 doors on the side of the entrance that qualify as an entrance. A sign at the door that is the entrance with also a sign "open/closed" makes it a little clearer. (11-09-2022 This was the case in the winter, nowadays all doors are open and there are almost always people sitting on the side of the entrance on the terrace)

Really soooo disappointing; this place sells hot air. I ordered a smoked beef salad for 17.50, you get a breakfast plate of lettuce, barely dressed. I ask if I can please get some more because I don't eat bread either and I can't. “She has already given me extra,” explains the owner. What then? A quarter of a cherry tomato? Or was that that one slice of smoked meat, which should have been half a slice? The cost of what I found on my plate was at most 50 cents. My friends order the same sandwich, for which they pay 14.50; hardly invested. Around me I only saw sparsely filled sandwiches. The coffee didn't taste good either, but that's a matter of taste. The location looks nice, but with such a lack of customer service and these horrible prices for sandwiches and salads where everything is sliced ​​as thinly as possible to make a quarter of a tomato look like something, leaving you with an empty wallet and an empty stomach can leave; That turns our stomachs so much that we will never come here again.

What a lovely place! Next to a beautiful playground (entrance fee 1 euro with its own little kiosk/bar as well), and the trainrail, Mw Peer is a joyful surprise, with delicious croissants, sweet and savory treats. There are also tables for pic nic inside the playground but you're not allowed to bring staff from the mevrouw Peer there. Highly recommended. Nearby parking free in the weekends.

What a cozy atmosphere this tent has! My husband and I had coffee there once and breakfast once, and we always left happy. There are many choices when it comes to hot drinks. The treats with coffee are super tasty and so are the breakfast dishes. So why do I only give three stars for the food? Because we found the portions very small for the price you pay for them. But this is the only criticism we have. We'd love to come back!

Nice restaurant for something to eat or drink with children. Lots of toys and a nice play corner. Very nice in combination with the adjacent large playground where children can play for €1 pp. can play wonderfully.

This is really a top tent for when you are out and about with kids. Delicious coffee, something to eat and space to play. Perhaps you can go to the adjacent playground and the day can't go wrong.

I will never forget how I was kicked out of your store with my 2-year-old son during the corona time. And that's only because of a QR code that no one talks about anymore. You must be heartless if you begrudge a little toddler his croissant or currant roll. Drive past your store several times but will never bother or recommend it again. The old signal box has been converted into a cozy relaxation area with a large children's playground. The busy Utrecht Zwolle railway line runs past Mrs. Peer. The bells regularly tinkle and the railway barriers descend and the trains race. It is a safe place for the children. The gate is equipped with a lock that is not easy for small children to open. This is a nice place for breakfast, lunch but also for a drink.

Beautiful terrace with tasteful furniture. Good coffee. The brownie was not what you would expect: no chocolate flavor or pieces of chocolate in it. It was a very sweet piece of cake, which happened to be my taste, so it was still tasty. It's strange that coffee is served in small coffee cups without a saucer. What I think is great is that a glass of water is served with every coffee. Noise from passing trains is quite disturbing and restless.
