We had a delicious pizza and pasta meal with 3 children aged 5-7.

It was lovely to have lunch here while working, it was so delicious, I'll be back soon

Casual and locals place just steps from Alexander Hotel. I had the burger which was nice. We also tried two pastas which were good, you pick the sauce and then choose noodle type. My son had pizza that reigns supreme over the other dishes. Nice cheesy and garlicky flavor would recommend!! Pay at the counter.

Super delicious food in a lovely spot with cozy seating both inside and outside. It's a cafe with real neighborhood roots and gives back to the area, which is why so many locals love it. They often have live music, which is also a great touch!

The price-quality ratio is excellent here, and the pasta is delicious. Appetizers are served in a small, friendly atmosphere, and the staff is unhurried. It's a great place to chat with friends while eating. The food isn't rushed, and thanks to its location, it's not crowded!

Lovely, and freshly looking restaurant. We had 2 pizzas, 1 lasagne, and one vegan risotto for mains. The pizzas and lasagna were great, the risotto not so much. The service was friendly, but we waited almost an hour for the mains to be served, we thought that was too much. We would highly recommend the restaurant.

Delicious and fresh produce that really shines here. Extremely friendly welcome and service. We'll definitely be back. A short walk from the Jaarbeurs, definitely a good alternative if you don't want to eat at Jaarbeursplein.

We went out for dinner at Kleine Max, but our experience was unfortunately disappointing. Due to a delay, we wanted to change our 5:00 PM reservation to 5:30 PM. This was rudely refused over the phone, as we had booked through Social Deal. Upon arrival, the restaurant was practically empty and remained empty, which made the rigid attitude all the more strange. The service in the restaurant itself was friendly. The carpaccio starter was tough and unchewable. The main course was fine, but the apple pie for dessert was literally served frozen, despite the warning that it might be "a bit cold." Given the frozen pie, we would have appreciated a small compensation, such as a drink on the bill.

Delicious food. Affordable main courses. Desserts and appetizers are a bit pricey.

A nice place, with acceptable prices. Had a quick breakfast, it was delicious. Unfortunately the Chao Latte wasn't as good, not as tasty as I'm used to and unfortunately it wasn't really warm either. But the staff was super friendly.

You can sit outside here. However, the service is not the best. We ordered two iced lattes and received warm lattes. When we indicated this, a few minutes later we received our cooled lattes back with a few ice cubes. In addition, we waited more than half an hour for an apple pie, which they only brought when all our drinks were already gone and we were ready to go. With a little more attention and better service this could be a lot of fun

Delicious food. Started with a lentil soup, very tasty. Then we ordered the truffle pasta and a custom pizza quatro formaggi with sucuk and truffle oil. Recommended

Delicious food, cozy restaurant, but the service was very poor. We had to make a lot of effort to attract attention and the waitress in particular did not seem to understand what she was doing and did not realize that we were there with a Social Deal, so we wanted another dessert, because we had already paid for it. When paying, we first received a normal voucher, which stated everything at full price, as if we had not already paid for our Social Deal. It seemed as if the concept of a Social Deal was unknown to the ministry. There were lamps in the shape of letters hanging along the wall, which were a bit too bright. The acoustics are very good. We could hear each other well and were not bothered by the other guests. We could hear the music well and it was at a pleasant volume.

Ate via Social Deal. Food was fine not great. There was some loud, special music playing for a restaurant. Everyone has their own taste of course. Furthermore, the employees were very nice and the service was good.

A beautiful cafe. Opposite a large church and the mosque is 100 m further. The banana cake was to die for and the cappuccino was also very tasty. Great service. Very nice and accommodating.

At Kleine Max and had such an amazing experience that we went there three times in three days for breakfast! The highlight of our meals was definitely the eggs with veggies and Turkish sausage, which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. Equally delightful was the croissant with cheese, which had the perfect balance of buttery and cheesy goodness. The coffee was decent, and while it wasn't the standout of the meal, it complemented the breakfast well. The fresh orange juice was a refreshing treat that rounded off our meals perfectly. Overall, Kleine Max provided a consistently excellent breakfast experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a great start to their day.

I made a reservation for June 15 to eat here in the evening. We received confirmation of the reservation by email, but on June 15 we stood in front of a closed door. Only a 'closed' sign on the door. I stood there with 2 people aged 85 who have difficulty walking. I emailed them to say that I was very sorry about how things went, that they could have contacted them in advance to let them know that they were closed, but I didn't even receive a response to the email. So as far as I'm concerned, 1 star.

Food was delicious and the portions are fair! I really enjoyed our brunch here and was amused at the layout of the cafe; you had to cross THROUGH the kitchen to reach the toilets, which were clean and even had a bidet!! How modern and hygienic! There are free boomerang postcards available that always wins points with me. The cafe seems to also double up as a community theater and cradle for the local arts. The staff are friendly but not all of them speak English so I played translator for my family. A lot of people seem to work here and it attracts many different kinds of clientele in such a beautiful way to witness Utrecht’s diversity in such a quaint cafe.
