We come here regularly, yesterday we thought, let's have the 3-course menu for €29.50 but because I had another dessert myself, this whole promotion was cancelled. My husband had not had a dessert but coffee, this would have been included in the menu. But everything was charged separately. Should have given the dessert within the menu and the dessert outside the menu charged separately. Yesterday I called to find a solution, but was referred to the small print on the menu. They eventually asked to email the receipt. I did this but no response. This is a great shame. Now paid more than 30 euros too much. While if the waitress had just said that with a different dessert choice the discount would expire, we could have taken this into account. This does not feel good, even misleading. We would therefore recommend tackling this differently, this way you lose loyal customers

Delicious food. At our own request outside on the terrace, because the weather was beautiful, but they also kept a table inside available if it would get too cold. TOP Delicious food, nice atmosphere (both inside and outside) and good service. Both about the speed of service drinks and food, and a nice chat about their concept and future plans.

Great service, something you rarely see these days. Very friendly service and very attentive to empty glasses, etc. We were immediately asked if we wanted a high chair for the baby and cushions for the toddler to sit on. The food was tasty and the location is beautiful. We will be back soon!

Had a delicious meal here several times. Definitely recommended and the dishes do not appear as "brasserie" These are simply restaurant dishes prepared with care. Had a delicious meal here before a concert visit at Boerderij. The staff perfectly sensed that we were somewhat under time pressure and ensured that we could leave on time with a full belly.

Very cozy and nice restaurant. Delicious food, especially with people, the Shared Dining option is great. The service could be a little more enthusiastic and friendly. Our lady was very short and not very helpful.

Highly recommended!! Ate here several times and enjoyed it every time. The restaurant is attractively decorated with comfortable chairs and beautiful atmospheric lighting. The staff is a young team where you notice that they enjoy their work and have been well trained by colleagues. The dishes are all of good quality. This time we opted for the hot dog slices, the tasting and the grand dessert together with a delicious wine and to finish a delicious Spanish coffee with, as it should be, hand-whipped unsweetened whipped cream. Definitely not the last time we've been here.

Very nice location. Nice decor, beautiful view. It was nice and quiet on Thursday. In my opinion, the staff was a little too assertive. I like to chat for a long time and take my time. But if you like your food on time, you've come to the right place.

Nice restaurant, friendly staff, dishes are too expensive, starter with salmon, I missed the herbs, I ordered a steak but got bavette, it was tough, and for dessert creme brulee, I spent 65 euros, without alcohol but water and soft drinks, sorry but no repeat for me, very unfortunate

Nice restaurant with nice ambiance. Spacious. We were a group of ten people and had opted for shared dining in advance. This came out well with the starter. Many tasty small dishes with meat and fish, as well as a good salad. However, the second round (main course) was disappointing. Only two types of meat (beef and pork) with fries, that's it. No vegetables or salads as garnish. That was a bit disappointing. The variety of desserts was again great. The service was good. It's just a pity that - after we had settled at the table with a good tip - no one showed up to show us off. Why would you pay any attention to your guests if the bill has already been paid? We walked out with that feeling. In summary, worth repeating? For a la carte I say yes, given the good food and the nice atmosphere. Shared dining, but not for a while.

I thought it was strange that you had to order vegetables for 5 euros if you wanted vegetables. But what is a meal without vegetables.

The sun in my face was a bit less, but the 3-course (surprise) menu was absolutely fantastic. Definitely go back.

What a nice brasserie has been created in this space! Although it is a large open space and really spacious, it does not feel so barren because there are large plants everywhere. The design has clearly been well thought out. Nice varied card. Tasty starters and main courses. We found the desserts to be less, both in choice and in execution. The only real downside is that the special steak that you could order actually looked very different from the picture on the menu. Actually less. Then your expectations are not managed properly. Furthermore, we had an excellent meal, a pleasant evening and would certainly return

Beautiful, attractive decor, simple menu but deliciously prepared. Unfortunately, the pace of serving the 3 courses was very quick.

Another delicious meal. The curry soup was delicious. Softly creamy with a little spice behind it, while you taste the freshness. The couscous was also delicious. Those peeled tomatoes were especially excellent. I really enjoyed it from start to finish. Our compliments. You will make it a special party. Specially served too. Cheers!!

You will immediately feel at home in Brasserie 1640. You will be received amicably. Not too loud, but with just the right tone. The service is incredibly friendly and the atmosphere is great. When the weather is nice you can sit in the garden, bordering the forest, water and meadow. And that in the rather fully built-up Zoetermeer. The food is delicious and prepared with great care. Here you really get value for money and have a wonderful afternoon or evening.

Great location and food. We had a dinner inside but the terrace outside looks amazing for an afternoon bite also. For those who visited the restaurant Hofstede Meerzicht in the past and expect something similar with this place should be cautioned that this place is less formal, more funky and modern - menu is shorter but still offers interesting dishes to try, so is the wine cart. There is a small place to also dance, if you fancy :) One star less because staff should be still educated to come on time, check on you and don’t forget things. No one noticed we were without menu card or drinks for quite some time before we eventually had to chase for them. But overall we had a good and relaxed time, so definitely check this new place out!
