Good location, friendly service, great ambiance.

Always a nice atmosphere and good, friendly service. The food was top-notch. We had an off-menu starter. The octopus was deliciously tender. Good fries and salad as a side dish. Tasty Poussin chicken as a main course and homemade chocolate truffles to finish.

A perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine or a drink with a partner or friends. The setting is very spacious and beautiful, featuring plenty of tables and a varied menu, and the staff is very polite and helpful. I definitely recommend it.

Nice place, good vibe. The fish lunch offers excellent value for money. Service is neat, prompt, and polite. Sometimes not entirely adequate because there isn't a complete overview. We will definitely come back.

I've been there for a drink quite often, but today I ate there for the first time. And what a place it is! Delicious food, including good meat, and excellent service.

Good afternoon, So you really want my feedback, ha ha. Well, that’s certainly possible. Bardot wasn't new to me, you know. I have dined at your place several times before. This time, I dragged a friend along to have a nice chat over dinner. I introduced you, and naturally, I didn't do that for no reason. I have always been very satisfied with the atmosphere, service, friendliness, and the quality of the dishes. Simply a very pleasant experience in every respect, and fortunately, my friend completely agreed with me. And if I may add just one very small constructive point of criticism: Bardot is not a cheap eatery. Bardot is an atmospheric venue with delicious dishes. That means that visitors generally want to take the time to enjoy what is on offer and their company as well. We both felt that the dishes were rushed through rather quickly, even though we had mentioned twice that we were in no hurry. That is perhaps something to watch out for. You can tell pretty quickly whether a table is just dropping in for a quick bite or if they exude the calm needed to sit down for an evening. Again, no criticism, just something to keep in mind.

We had a very pleasant evening at Brasserie Bardot. The staff did a very good job and were very attentive. The starters (bisque, octopus, and veal) were to our liking, although we were curious about the two shrimp croquettes served as a starter, which cost €22.95... The calf's liver as a main course was a bit disappointing: small chopped pieces in a sort of stew. The risotto wasn't particularly special either, but it was acceptable. The small chickens (pousin) were appreciated, as was the tournedos with duck liver as a supplement. That last dish costs €46.45, and just like with the other main courses, the fries and vegetables have to be ordered separately. I find that a bit on the expensive side. We found the wine (€7 to €8 per glass) mediocre; not bad, but not special either. In summary: good service, good food, but the price/quality ratio is not right.

The food was fine, but the service really ruined the experience. During the meal, we were asked no fewer than three times if we could clear the table. Asking once is understandable, but three times while we are still eating feels quite rushed and unwelcoming. It is a real shame, because the food was otherwise good. Normally, I like to leave an extra tip, but due to this manner of service, I decided against it this time.

Opted for a steak tartare (150g), which is already noticeably less than the standard weight. Cut too coarsely, but with the necessary garnish. The menu states that side dishes are not included... which I don't understand for a main course 🤔. Chose fries with truffle sauce and Parmesan. A mini bowl with the most hideous fries I have ever eaten (as a Belgian, I have eaten quite a few different fries). Tip to the owner: choose a different supplier. My wife chose chicken with applesauce. Small chicken, anyway... the portion of applesauce was the size of a tablespoon, even too little for a child. Asked for another portion and got it (and wasn't charged). In short, a place with a grand appearance, but the food is comparable to a diner in decline. One-time visit.

A very nice, beautiful place. I only received good service from the owner. A man who worked there didn't seem very enthusiastic. He didn't smile and did more harm than good. He brought the wrong wine; after I commented on it, he claimed it was the right wine, but that wasn't the case. It was only right when the owner intervened. It all looks nice, but the service is terrible.

Great terrace for a drink or a bite to eat. Everyone who walks onto the terrace is immediately greeted in a friendly manner.

You have to like French cuisine; we went there for lunch and there was nothing tasty on the menu that we liked. A shame, the location is beautiful. Finished our drinks quickly and went to eat somewhere else.

What a delightful place Brasserie Bardot is! As soon as the sun shines, you feel like you're in France for a moment. The only thing missing is the water, otherwise you could easily have thought you were in Saint-Tropez. We actually only came for drinks, but ended up staying the entire afternoon and evening. We started with an extensive charcuterie board and fresh bread, accompanied by a fantastic glass of wine. The wine list offers plenty of choice and invites you to try something new. Afterwards, we enjoyed an exquisite brioche with eel; perhaps even too delicious, as it was gone much too quickly. Because we were having such a good time, we stayed seated until dinner started. The rib-eye was subsequently an absolute winner: perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and a beautiful piece of meat. To finish, we thoroughly enjoyed a cup of coffee with, of course, a crème brûlée. Everything was perfect: the atmosphere, the food, the wine, and the hospitality. In short: a top-notch afternoon and evening in Breda, with a brief taste of la douce France. Food a bit too much "Saint Tropez" style. Couldn't get a "normal" snack. The food is good and the wine too. However, there were an awful lot of smokers around us. The staff didn't say a word.

Always a nice place for drinks and a bite to eat. The food is fine, not fantastic. Delicious wines, good selection. The only downside I found was that I was only allowed to order a plate of vegetables with a main course, even though we had eaten everything except a main course. That was a bit of a letdown, because I like to eat a lot of vegetables.

They still really understand hospitality here!

It is a really lovely place to sit for a drink. The lunch is also excellent. I had the Club Coppa di Parma on brioche and it was really delicious. Definitely recommended!

There were 5 people serving, and after well over 30 minutes, we still hadn't received anything to drink. The staff were too busy talking to each other. We went somewhere else for a nice lunch.

The food was tasty, but you had to search for the ingredients. Did it actually contain what was listed? Furthermore, it was very noisy; sound echoed very loudly. There was music in the background where you could only hear a thumping; no idea what kind of music it was.

We just wanted to sit comfortably on the terrace, but as soon as we wanted to sit down somewhere, the old ladies serving us suddenly decided that all the benches had to be closed and wouldn't open again (around 2:00 PM). Truly bizarre. On top of that, they were not friendly at all, as if they had lost interest themselves. A truly terrible experience; I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

The only reason people sit here is for the south-facing terrace. The staff is truly terrible and completely unmotivated. You would think that now the season is open they would be enthusiastic, but nothing could be further from the truth. They are known for this in Breda, too. Additionally, there was a bottle of wine on the bill that we didn't drink, so check your receipt carefully (if you are still going)!

The food is excellent. The ambiance is typically French bistro style. Oysters with lemon strips and gin foam. Salad Niçoise with fresh tuna. Brioche with duck liver mousse and coppa, Parmesan. Excellent wine selection. I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc that couldn't be more classic. The service is attentive; if it takes a little longer, it's not a problem. The food is of a high standard.

We had an incredibly delicious meal here. Friendly staff who were knowledgeable about the dishes and wines. If they were unsure about something, they didn't hesitate to ask, but immediately referred a colleague. What's more, the bill was reasonable.

I ordered sole, which was listed on the daily price menu. Upon payment, the price turned out to be €45. For this price, I would have expected a salad to accompany the fish. This €45 fish was simply presented on a plate, bare of any decorations, and without any side dish. So, no fries, potatoes, or rice. The price was therefore not very appealing to present.

Bardot is a restaurant with a large terrace that we enjoy visiting regularly. The food is always good, the atmosphere is excellent, and the staff are friendly and attentive.

I had to ask three times for my apple pie to go with the coffee I ordered, so the coffee was long gone. If you want to come across as chic and exclusive, then hire good waiters for the price they're asking.

We had lunch here last Sunday. The menu was disappointing. And what we ultimately had chosen, tasted very mediocre. The location is superb. That's the only thing good about this restaurant. Unfortunately, they think that's why everything else doesn't have to be so good. What we found most annoying was the staff. They were so unfriendly, disinterested, and bad in what they are supposed to do. We felt completely ignored. They were mostly focused on themselves and each other. With so many other great options here in Breda, we'll skip this one from now on.

We had a very bad experience at this restaurant. We ordered an omelet with fries, truffle mayo, and Parmesan cheese. The omelet came with two slices of toast, but when we asked for extra bread, we were given two old, dry round rolls that were literally thrown at us. They were so hard we couldn't even eat them. When we asked another waiter, we were given a new pair of toast, but only after a long time and with a lot of sullenness. The service was rude, unmotivated, and downright disrespectful. I strongly felt their behavior was discriminatory, and I felt completely unwelcome. It's truly disgraceful how they treat their guests. I will never return and advise everyone to avoid this restaurant.

I love french foods and have eaten at many places. This place is a big disappointment. From the bread, escargot, risotto, bisque soup, to steak, everything tasted horrible. I never give a bad review but this was deserving. I could not eat one thing because the taste was very off.

Today we went to Bardot for lunch with work. We were there around 11:30. At 11:45 we asked if we could order, but the staff only wanted to do this from 12:00, because that's when the kitchen opened. We indicated that we could order already and then the first order from 12:00, but that was also not possible. As a result, we finally got our food served at 12:27 and we were short on time. I think the prices are a bit high. Also when you look at the menu, you can see that this restaurant is meant for the heavier wallet. Vistrio was fine in taste, as far as volume is concerned I found it a bit scarce. Loded fries were too buried under the sauce. The service was friendly, and the place looks neat and nice.

This is a great place. The service is quick and staff polite and friendly. The whole place runs like a well oiled machine. Within a minute of ordering from one waiter another brought our drinks. My coque madame was great with light bread and not too heavy and stodgy. Really enjoyed the terrace in the sunshine.

Had Caesar salad for 16.95 I was very disappointed, large lettuce leaves, a few pieces of chicken, roasted bacon, a few of those hard cubes and I also received a few very small very hard rolls on a bowl with 2 cubes of butter that I had to take out of the packaging myself, which is a lot of spread if it is soft butter. And the salad had no taste at all, unfortunately. Too bad about such nice bedtimes. The Belgians next to us were also not satisfied and did not get what they ordered.

Echt een aanrader als je van de Franse keuken houdt! Heerlijk eten, je zit er leuk en leuke vlotte bediening die echt de benen uit hun lijf lopen. Alleen ENORM jammer dat daar een hele chagrijnige en onsympathieke vrouw tussendoor loopt te rennen (wat doet ze eigenlijk?) die dus de eigenaresse schijnt te zijn. Ze kijkt je niet aan en er kan zeker geen lachje vanaf. Leek wel of het personeel bang voor haar was. Zij is zeker geen aanwinst voor dit fijne restaurant. Ons advies: ga iets achter de schermen of bureautje doen, en laat die jonge garde die tent maar runnen. Dan komen we zeker nog eens terug!

In connection with our daughter's 30th birthday, we specially drove from Venlo to Breda (because this is her hometown) for dinner. We enjoyed this hip, French Brasserie. All dishes tasted good. Friendly service. The times between dishes were good. Cozy atmosphere with nice music.

Bardot has been my favorite place in Breda for years. We were there 1.5 weeks ago for a special occasion and it was great how the staff thought along so sweetly! The food was delicious as always! Delicious food, nice menu, tasty drinks (in nice glasses), beautiful and cozy setting. In general, it is recommended to make a reservation to ensure that you have a table.

Special dishes. Beautifully prepared plates and pure food. More expensive segment but excellent quality and exclusive. Affordable wines but also higher segment. Good service and very hospitable staff and easy to approach. Beautiful interior with lots of atmosphere. As a group of 4 people you can have a fairly intimate dinner without being bothered by other tables.
