Brasserie Brandaris in Wijk 00 West-Terschelling

Vlotte bediening, al merk je wel dat ze je graag weer weg hebben omdat er dan nieuwe gasten kunnen komen. We hadden een tafel voor twee personen maar dat was aan de krappe kant voor alles wat erop stond.

Nice staff, otherwise only had a few drinks.

Cozy place right in the city center. Very friendly staff (even with the dog). The food is delicious and reasonably priced.

Very tasty and great service. We've been there a few times for lunch and were always more than satisfied. The interior is also beautifully and interestingly decorated. Overall, I highly recommend it. We'll definitely be back next time.

Leuke zaak in het midden van West- Terschelling, altijd lekker druk, bediening is ondanks dat snel en attent. Leuk ook dat ze hun eigen Whiskey hebben.

Had a cocktail in the afternoon, for that price you should learn a bit how to prepare it, it wasn't great. The nachos pulled chicken were very tasty. Table not cleaned, was still dirty from the previous visit. If you have already contacted them 3 times to take the order and serve and then still haven't thought to clean the table, you are either uninterested or not paying attention.

Last time we ate here was 12 years ago. The spareribs we tasted then, nothing has ever matched those of De Brandaris! It was time to show our children why Terschelling stole our hearts back then. A dinner at De Brandaris was a must. Were the spareribs still just as tasty? Wouldn't it be disappointing after so many years? Fortunately, nothing could be further from the truth! What a delicious meal we had, cozy by the window (😉) and the service: excellent! Cozy, friendly and served with pleasure, chapeau! If we ever come back to Terschelling, we will definitely eat spareribs at De Brandaris again! Not for the delicious food of course, but for the friendly service 😉

This restaurant really has everything! Very friendly and attentive staff who know their stuff! The food is of a high standard without pretentious lif-lafjes but simply very tasty and large portions. We ate super fine Terschelling cheese fondue. The drinks menu is also very good. The nachos in particular are famous on the island. Not a pile of dry nachos with just some stuff on top, but layer by layer with delicious ingredients as it should be! This restaurant is highly recommended!

We had dinner here last April 2, by far the tastiest and nicest restaurant in west Terschelling. The food was just right and it was also cozy. Luckily we had made a reservation

We often visit Terschelling. However, never to the Brasserie Brandaris. Now it is and this will be repeated. What a nice man. Started with a delicious tartare and then a leg of lamb. This with pleasant service makes it five stars. Recommended on West.

We have eaten at several restaurants on Terschelling, but this brasserie stands out above the many with flying colors. Fantastic food. Wonderfully fresh and well prepared. In short, it was really fantastic to eat there.

Spent a few days on Terschelling at the beginning of September 2024 and had dinner here. Made a reservation for the next day as well. Delicious food, cozy interior, very friendly and fast service. And also delicious coffee. In short: in our opinion, highly recommended!

If you are on Terschelling, a visit to the Brandaris should not be missed. Unfortunately it is no longer possible to climb the lighthouse, but then go to Brasserie de Brandaris. Super nice, nice, cozy, cozy restaurant. Where many islanders also come to eat. Then it must be good. And it is. Delicious food. Compliments to the chef. And fantastic service by Marleen and Norah. Heel vriendelijk en attent personeel. Alles goed georganiseerd waardoor alles vlot doorkomt. De steaks waren prima en er was veel zorg aan besteed. We hebben er erg gezellig gegeten.

Yesterday we ate delicious mussels on the terrace, and truly great service and incredibly good wine! The mussels were very tasty and they were all open in the pan. Good fries and good dip with the mussels/fries/sandwiches. It also looked super cozy inside, the toilets were clean, a really great experience!

Fantastic food, delicious dishes, cozy and warm welcome

We went there for dinner with a small group, about 6 people. After dinner we went to pay, but those incompetent employees had turned away 5 too many burgers. When my buddy finally read the receipt, he saw it and got 90 euros back of the 92 euros that we were actually supposed to get back. And some of the employees didn't even speak Dutch, which I personally found very strange for a restaurant in the Netherlands.

Highly recommended if you are on Terschelling! Friendly staff and beautifully presented plates, good food.

Eén van onze favoriete restaurants op Terschelling viel deze keer een beetje tegen… salade zonder dressing, geen heerlijke kaasstengel meer bij de kaasfondue, schnitzel was stukje kleiner. Na binnenkomst best lang moeten wachten op de bediening. Al met al zijn we beter gewend.

We picked up food here and it was delicious. Normally takeaway food is less tasty because of the containers, but that was not the case here. Freshly prepared and collected as agreed.

After 34 years, landed here for the first time after a 2-hour walk. Cup of pea soup with rye bread and then Terschellinger bitterballen. Warm up and get back on the road. Nice place to stay there.

Had an unexpectedly delicious meal here today. Here they understand how it works to deal with guests. Serious when necessary, but also just fun to talk about. We were in a somewhat inconvenient geographical location, but they solved this brilliantly. (see attached photo) Additional wishes of the guest are taken seriously.

Zoals iedere keer, prima sfeer, uitermate geschikt en vriendelijk personeel. En het eten prima

Simpelste gerecht van de kaart werd met koude kroketten geserveerd. Uiteindelijk wel goed gekomen maar voor de rest maar zozo.

Fantastisch gegeten in de Brasserie Brandaris! Ook voor mensen met een glutenallergie aan te bevelen. Wel even vantevoren bellen en kenbaar maken dat je een allergie hebt, maar dan wordt alles ook tot in de kleinste details geregeld. Inclusief apart bestek, een lekker broodje bij de gamba’s en een glutenvrij chocolaatje bij de munt thee. We komen graag nog eens terug.
