Take your time!! The service was two people, overflowing with guests. They were literally running themselves ragged, but they didn't mind that we had to wait almost an hour for our food. We were having a good time together, so the time flew by. But it didn't dampen our appetite. We weren't asked for a second drink; the food arrived only when we asked how long it would be. The food was truly excellent, very tasty, and the table was full. All in all, we were seated for almost 2.5 hours. Jokes about losing the magic wand or that the salmon we ordered was still on the boat kept coming. A small tip: an extra person in the kitchen or service would be helpful if there were more staff available.

Really delicious food, I highly recommend the spareribs. Eel, or for those with a spicy tooth, the spicy sparerib. It's delicious and the service is great. You're helped right away, and they're very hospitable.

The entire restaurant is themed around witches...the food is excellent, with a salad bar where you can serve yourself as much as you like. The rhubarb compote was delicious, and the spare ribs were excellent.

Delicious food. The rhubarb and the chicory, steak tips, scampi, meat with mushrooms, vegetarian dish with corn on the cob, everything was prepared perfectly. Smooth service and our dog immediately got a bowl of water. Good price-quality ratio.

14-03-25 we had dinner here. Our faithful four-legged friend could come along, that was no problem at all. I do recommend making a reservation, it was busy! Food was fine, service good, friendly, not long waiting. Fine evening dining.

Food was good but served a bit lukewarm due to crowds. Simply but comfortably furnished.

Booked more than a week in advance and were assigned a seat in the aisle next to the buffet corner. Just not in the toilet yet. According to the uninterested staff member, another table was not possible. Was reserved for acquaintances. So be careful of this before you make your reservation, this is not really a good start to a holiday. Fortunately, there are more restaurants with friendly staff

Been coming here for years. Always good food and a pleasant environment. Delicious vegetables such as rhubarb and chicory with the dishes. That alone is great! Highly recommended!!!

Delicious food, for a great price! We were very surprised by the products delivered in addition to the main course, for example rhubarb, we used to eat it at grandma's house and here again, it was delicious! Also a delicious salad bar with delicious stewed pears, very tasty, and also a long time since we ate it. In short, highly recommended!!!

Our experience at this restaurant was not that good. The food seemed a bit expensive in relation to what we got. In particular, the kids menu promised a hamburger, but what we got was just the meat patty with no bun, accompanied by a few fries and no extra accompaniments, which was quite disappointing. The place is a bit small and during peak hours it can be quite busy, which makes service difficult. Unfortunately we only went there once and we don't plan to come back because of these drawbacks.

For us, a dinner at the Heksenketel is part of a visit to Terschelling. A cozy family restaurant with a delicious menu. As a small child this was quite an experience. Good portions, tasty, made and served with love. The prawns (preferably unpeeled) are my absolute favorite. Until next time :)

Food was delicious the workers were very sweet and the atmosphere was nice

Of all the places we ate on Terschelling, this was my favorite. I also got rhubarb and chicory. I thought that was so nostalgic😂. I like easy and am easily satisfied. But if you bring someone with you who, for example, has completed catering school (like my daughter), you will hear what has been warmed up, etc. It didn't interest me. I liked it and you also get a nice portion of this holiday. Just enjoying.

I thought I read my own review • Eat on site | Dinner | €40-50 We thought we would end the holiday nicely at restaurant De Witches Ketel. This was very disappointing. Arrogant staff, impossible to talk to. The food was also very poor (see photo). It also took a very long time to get our food. (Long wait for starter and another 45 minutes for main course). Unfortunately, the hygiene of the toilets was also not up to standard. In short, don't go here. Where witches' cauldron in Ameland was perfect. This was the opposite. Not recommended, staff arrogant until you have to pay. Waited a VERY long time for the food, which was (and looked) unappetizing.

Worn the witch's cauldron twice during the last holiday! Ate once on site and it was very good! Portions are good and very tasty! We had dinner there with 6 people, and we all had something different. So I saw and tasted many dishes, and they were all delicious! The 2nd time I used the witch's cauldron was to collect. This was again good, and the portion size was perfectly fine! In short, we had a good meal both times! And will definitely come back as soon as we go to Terschelling again!

Spent a week working on the island and last 2 days at the witch's cauldron, definitely recommended if you are on the island. Very good and tasty food! And for a good affordable price, of course, we remain Dutch! Until next time!!

Good food, but unfortunately we had to wait a very long time. Deliberately reserved at 5 p.m. because of small children, but only received the first dish almost an hour and a half later. So still home late🤨

Friendly people, tasty liver, good service

The food wasn't that good. Started with a nacho dish that looked more like a cobbled together student snack than something you serve in a restaurant. Then came the cordon bleu, which was a schnitzel topped with melted cheese and a piece of ham. The schnitzel was cut in half and the other half was placed on top of the melted cheese to make it look somewhat like a cordon bleu, but there was nothing to do with it. Staff was very friendly, but this was really unacceptable in terms of food.

Gemütliches Lokal, netter Tisch mit Platz für den Hund (vorher reserviert), freundlicher Service. Gutes und reichhaltiges Essen, Steaks (medium und rare bestellt) perfekt gebraten, mit Ofenkartoffel/Pommes, Champignonrahmsauce/Kräuterbutter, Gemüse und Salat.

Prima service en vriendelijke bediening. Echter wel heel jammer als je de kaasfondue besteld zonder wijn (werd aangegeven dat dit geen probleem is) dat het toch gewoon met wijn gemaakt wordt. Prijs is oké voor de hoeveelheid eten.

Wij komen hier best vaak. Je krijgt wat je verwacht en verder geen poeha. Neem zelf vaak de T-bone steak en die mag er wezen. Het is een gezellig restaurant met bijzonder vriendelijke bediening.

Goed eten voor een goede prijs. Je moet wel even geduld hebben, maar mensen doen hun uiterste best. Chapeau!

Lekker gegeten, goeie porties eten. En een salade buffet om je bordje aan te vullen met fruit en groenten. vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Plek om buiten (verwarmd) te zitten. De sfeer is goed en met alle heksen is het net even anders wat het ook leuk maakt. (maar niet op een enge manier)

Het eten was prima, respect voor de bediening...met z'n tweeën liepen ze af en aan terwijl het best druk was.

Het restaurant ziet er heel gezellig uit, maar het eten was matig. Kaasfondue smaakte nog slechter dan uit een pakje uit de supermarkt, "verse groente" was waterige witlof en zoete rabarber. Het eten kwam zo snel dat je nog geen half drankje kon opdrinken en de schnitzel was smakeloos. Alleen de spareribs, patatjes en saladebar waren echt lekker. Wij waren met een grote vriendengroep en afentoe beetje onduidelijk, daar leek de bediening niet heel blij mee te zijn. Kan mij voorstellen dat het een prettiger ervaring is als je met z'n 2en komt

Gezellig restaurant met heerlijk eten en vriendelijke bediening, duurde wel wat langer dan we gewend zijn maar was het wachten meer dan waard en we hadden tenslotte vakantie.

Leuk restaurant. Eens wat anders. Spare-Ribs is een aanrader Reserveren is wel gewenst omdat het niet groot is. Rakker de hond is ook binnen welkom. Bediening is vlot en hoffelijk.

Leuk ingericht reataurant, met veel heksen poppen en ect. Leuk thema! Prima eten, maar de service is toch echt verbeterbaar! Ik had een biefstuk besteld, ik vroeg om Medium, ik kreeg rauw. Hij stond nogsteeds te loeien alsof hij nog in het veld rondsprong. Aan tafelgenoten werden er volwassen porties aan een kind geserveerd met een kinderportie. Ze vergeten de appelmoes. De "Pittige" Spareribs waren nirt pittig op een stuk of 4 ribjes na. De patat was ongezouten en smaakloos en heel zacht. De tafel naast ons had ook al het vlees teruggestuurd want het was niet goed. Vriendelijke werkers. Maar de service kan toch echt veel beter.
