Brasserie Danthé in Wijk 00 Waalwijk

Wij hebben hier geluncht met 6 personen, van te voren gereserveerd en dat was geen probleem. Het is een komen en gaan in de lunchroom en dat is goed te begrijpen als je hier geweest bent. Een uitgebreide menukaart met warme en koude broodjes, lunches, salades en maaltijden. Het personeel is vlot en vriendelijk, de bestellingen kwamen vrij vlot. De porties zijn goed en alle broodjes en salades waren erg lekker. De prijs is zeer redelijk voor wat je krijgt. Wij wonen in Arnhem, maar komen hier zeker nog een keer terug....

It was cold in the brasserie. The lunch was mediocre, croquettes of lower quality. The hostess also had such a loud voice that it was disturbing. It might be an idea to play background music. The atmosphere is sad, the interior is in urgent need of modernization and the menu needs to be adjusted/expanded to the current standard.

Het eten is heerlijk en met zorg klaar gemaakt. Het personeel is aardig, gezellig en goed in bedienen. De aankleding van de zaak is ook met zorg uitgekozen.

Perfect brasserie for a cup of coffee / cappuccino with something tasty, a delicious lunch or a nice hot meal. Highly recommended in the Els shopping center... where people still have time and an eye for the customer and where the price is still very reasonable.

The worst pizza I ate ever. The quality wasn’t good at all. How can be that a pizza doesn’t taste like a normal pizza?????? Albert Heijn’s pizza much better than from here. If you don’t want to throw your money, don’t order.

One stinking place where you can smell the rancid smell of fries and I know exactly what causes that stench right at the beginning of the alder. Didn't eat it because of the smell, but I don't think it's edible. If it smells that unsanitary. I hope it is the extractor, but that means it has been broken for years. repair I guess? Apparently not.

Normally the food here is fine, a quick lunch so to speak. Unfortunately, the Corona measures are not optimal here and other customers are misusing the visible names and telephone numbers. It was noted that no questions were asked upon arrival, 1.5 meters did not appear to be guaranteed and 1 notebook with 1 pen was passed to all guests.... (I immediately said... that is going wrong!). And later that afternoon: We received a call with the name of the brasserie and the owner (anonymous number, that is...). There would be Corona, we have to stay at home for 10 days. So mild panic. Today I contacted the brasserie by telephone, because I did not trust it. The owner says to discuss it with the boss... and yes, you shouldn't fall for it (our number on which we were called is not on the street! That has to be taken off your list!). No actual understanding is shown in any way for the situation that has arisen (explained during the telephone conversation). What a huge disappointment due to the unprofessional attitude and working method. From now on we will pass this brasserie and recommend other customers to do the same.

Bij Brasserie Danthé word je hartelijk ontvangen door Tonnie en Angelie. Je kunt hier lekker lunchen voor een heel mooie prijs. Ook hebben ze veel diverse warme gerechten waardoor je op de koopavond ook genoeg keus hebt. Op dit moment wordt goed rekening gehouden met de maatregelen omtrent COVID-19.

Deze brasserie bevindt zich in winkelcentrum de Els in het centrum van Waalwijk. Een hartelijk echtpaar runt deze brasserie en biedt zeer veel gerechten. Wij hebben hier alleen even een kopje koffie/thee gedronken, het was nog te vroeg voor andere dingen. Vriendelijk geprijsd.

Good food and drinks, good service. But I was there this week. Instead of two euros, I had to pay 2.25 euros for a cup of coffee. More than scandalous to add 25 euro cents to it. Definitely short of money. I won't be there anymore.
