On the road bike, after 40 km, coffee. I indicated we wanted a bit stronger coffee. The result: the coffee was fantastic.

A charming, cozy brasserie on the Meije river. Delicious coffee and apple pie. Friendly, efficient service. A great spot for a break during a bike ride along the Meije.

A great place to "moor up." Friendly and attentive staff, despite the large crowds. Lots of tasty treats available, so it's a pleasure to continue cycling.

Very cozy place, friendly staff. However, it does take an hour to get your food. And very pricey: €40 for one glass of coke, one glass of water, and two salads.

After enjoying a delicious lunch on Saturday, August 16th, we decided to have dinner there as well. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly. The waitresses were fantastic! The food was amazing. We enjoyed a delicious daily menu (steak). I don't often post reviews, but we felt this location more than deserved it. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back.

We arrived for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon. The terrace was packed, but luckily there was room for us. It took a little longer to get our food, but that was to be expected and understandable. The service was super friendly!

Brasserie de Halve Maan is prachtig gelegen aan het riviertje De Meije en beschikt over een gezellig terras, maar ook binnen is het goed vertoeven. De bediening is attent en vriendelijk en het is er heel goed eten voor een eerlijke prijs! Kortom: een aanrader!

Lovely place to relax during a bike tour through the Meije and have coffee and cake. Delicious apple pie (finally not from a freezer). Excellent coffee also decaf. Too bad that sometimes many motorcycles and oldtimers pass by.

January 18, 2025 Visited this restaurant today with my dog. Had a cappuccino here and ate a slice of apple pie. This one was nice and warm, just a pity that the whipped cream ran away. Friendly staff. Nice tent. Dogs welcome, provided they are kept on a leash. Nice location, near Pietje Potlood. Parking a little further away at the local school. If you want to earn more stars, use real whipped cream and not from a spray can from the local supermarket. I don't think this is very professional.

What an amazing experience at brasserie halve maan! We had the most amazing wild game dishes, prepared to perfection and beautifully presented. It felt like x-mass! The lovely staff and their friendly service made our evening with our dear friends complete.

Had a fantastic brewery tour in this 6th generation family business and then headed into the brasserie for lunch. Lovely setting, great attentive service, obviously great beer and good food - in fact my daughter says the best cheese croquettes she’s ever had!

I mainly come here on my racing bike on Sunday mornings, for coffee and delicious apple pie. At this café the staff is always helpful and the atmosphere is good.

Nice terrace, good food and great service. You will be welcomed with open arms and the restaurant looks beautiful. The carpaccio and the sirloin steak were very good. The soft ice cream is also very tasty. Definitely a place to come back again✨

Na een forse wandeling van een paar uur zagen wij een bord langs de weg staan van dit restaurant. Het overtrof alonze verwachting. De koffie met appeltaart was zalig. De lunch was ook zeer goed verzorgd. Wij komen zeker terug om nogmaals te genieten van jullie gastvrijheid en de overheerlijke appeltaart.

This catering facility is the only one in the vicinity. There is a lovely terrace. We did find the service slow and the prices quite high.

Coincidentally passed by while cycling and stopped. The apple pie alone is reason enough to come back. There were a group of 9, but that was no problem. In addition, friendly and fast staff, definitely recommended.

This is apple pie worth driving around for. I regularly try to incorporate De Halve Maan into my cycle tours and have already recommended to many people to come here. The staff is always extremely friendly and fast. The location has both a nice terrace and a beautiful space inside.

I don't often write reviews, but I thought the Half Moon was worthy of a review. When we entered, we were welcomed with open arms, it was quiet and they wanted to have a chat, it is very open and tastefully decorated.

Strolled in unexpectedly, cozy atmosphere, new owner, new impetus, Michel, together with his girlfriend and family, turned it into a nice Brasserie. Quiet music in the background. Nice and service-oriented staff and........ tasty food, as you would expect in a Basserie. In short, highly recommended, see you next time. ps. wine was also very tasty

Vanmorgen met fietsmaatjes koffie gedronken met verse Appelgebak. We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen door mevrouw. 👍

Er leuke en gezellige restaurant om te zitten.

Ze hebben heerlijk warme chocolademelk met slagroom en appelgebak. De bediening is vriendelijk. De uitstraling van de brasserie is gezellig en warm.

Tijdens een zondagochtend fietsritje hier gestopt voor koffie en appeltaart. Zeldzaam vriendelijk personeel die met hart voor de zaak en hun gasten aan het werk is. De Appeltaart uit Epe was legendarisch. Top plek.

Wij zijn hier gestopt tijdens ons rondje suppen (groene route) Gezellig plekje om even te stoppen voor een kopje koffie of thee en wat lekkers. Er stonden ook lekkere gerechten op de kaart. Bediening was vriendelijk en snel.

Tijdens fietstocht hier heerlijk even gestopt en super genoten van een broodje bal en een soort sorbet, zó ontzettend lekker allebei. Echt de moeite waard om hier iets lekkers uit te kiezen!
