Brasserie de Houtvesterij in Wijk 01 Emst

It was the end of the season; they're closing in a few days. But we still had a delicious meal, and the service was very friendly!

We had made reservations for tonight. Apparently, there's no regular menu on Tuesdays, but burgers and ribs. Also good. Or maybe not. The burgers were very small and not very tasty. We had to wait a very long time for the food to arrive. The kids had already had enough. So we went to the adjacent playground. When the food was finally served, it was one small piece of spare ribs for the kids (3 bones and 2 pieces of meat in between), one piece of spare ribs for us, and a very tiny burger. We gave these to the children because they were so hungry. The accompanying fries and salad arrived after they had already finished them. We hadn't eaten yet, so we started with those. We waited endlessly for what they call the second round. Of course, you want to take your time eating, but the time they take to serve the food is simply not manageable with two young children. You wait and wait, and then order more drinks in the hope of keeping your children entertained. Then the portions are tiny, not very tasty, you're €120 poorer, no one is full, everyone is grumpy, and a bit more delusional. We would have been better off going to the snack bar.

We arrived without a reservation. We had to wait five minutes, but then a table was found for us. The service was very friendly. The food was excellent and delicious. The carpaccio could have been a bit thinner, but it was otherwise very tender. The spare ribs were also very tender.

Brasserie at our campsite. We had dinner there with friends to round off our camping trip. Very friendly service and delicious food. The hamburger is outstanding.

At the 'De Wildhoeve' campsite, we had good food. We had vegetarian risotto with a side dish of stir-fried vegetables, very tasty! The rest of the family had burgers, spare ribs, and pizza, all delicious. No appetizer or dessert, just two drinks each, which, including the tip, cost us 90 euros.

You can enjoy a (local) beer, other tasty treats, and delicious food here. There's plenty of seating inside and out! The service is friendly and knowledgeable. It's especially great for families; you're right next to a playground and have a view of the children's theater. Highly recommended!

The service is knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. The food this time was great, just like a few weeks ago. The hot smoked salmon, cod fillet, sirloin steak and tenderloin skewer were very good. The wines are also at the right temperature and the coffee afterwards is of high class. I'm surprised that this quality can be found at a campsite! Class for the chef(s) and service!

Top restaurant, delicious food!

Unfortunately the food was disappointing, the Veluwe burgers were served cold, the other dishes were fine, but the price-quality ratio could be better. No discount or cup of coffee at checkout to compensate for the citizens' disappointment.

They cook with local products and attention and you can taste it. In short, a delicious meal! (a downside, chairs are very hard, more pillows would be nice 😉 )

We often eat here because we have a pre-season spot and the food is always delicious and the service is super friendly!

Heerlijk gegeten in een prachtige omgeving, vlotte bediening

Echt slecht personeel! Gewoon bizar! Geen idee wat ze op de kaart hebben het verschil niet eens tussen rosé en rode wijn weten… Een entrecote bestellen en deze is gewoon in kleine reepjes gesneden niet te vreten!!! Ik zeg zonde van je geld

Super lekker gegeten, ruim boven verwachting voor een brasserie op een camping. Daarbij zeer attente bediening met zorg en aandacht voor de gasten en het eten. Een absolute aanrader, ook als je niet op de camping verblijft.

Leuk restaurant, nette prijzen.
