We love coming here; friendly staff, good food, and excellent value for money.

The reception was very pleasant, with a relaxed atmosphere and attention to the guests. There was more than enough choice of good quality meat and fish with a nice crispy crust, and various vegetables with good fries. A nice, extensive menu, and attentive and certainly friendly service, which makes for a pleasant dining experience. We will definitely be back.

What a shame that there were no Dutch-speaking hostesses. I didn't like that they spoke among themselves in a language that was incomprehensible to us.

The food is simply good, not refined but what you would expect. The decor is nice and the atmosphere is good. I find the menu a bit simple and limited. Service is often in English due to foreign employees.

We regularly come to Epe to shop. Followed by a visit to De Baron terrace For a cup of coffee, lunch, or dinner. Not expensive and really tasty. Two weeks ago we stopped by for a quick drink, or at least that's what we thought. Four times the waitstaff walked past us without asking if we were being served yet, so on the fourth time we got up and left. Very unfortunate, this wasn't necessary. Friendly staff.

Came for something to eat, but after the coffee, the staff probably didn't feel like continuing. So I'll just pay and walk a bit further to eat.

The restaurant's decor is extremely atmospheric. Unfortunately, the food is all pre-made and only needs to be heated up or fried. Chicken tenderloins arrive pre-marinated, while the ribs are literally ready, just need a quick dip in warm water. The chicken tenderloins were swimming in fat with a few stray mushrooms and a large, thick onion. As for the fries or potato slices, the oil hadn't been hot enough, making them soggy and greasy. Then there's the service. English-speaking staff with extremely loud voices arguing with colleagues. Definitely not pleasant; you feel embarrassed. I took a look in the kitchen because the quality of the food was poor. Three employees were literally leaning against the workbenches. Otherwise, the restaurant was quite full. A shame!

What a wonderfully cozy restaurant! We had lunch here with family and our 1.5-year-old. The waitresses were super friendly, the food was delicious, and the little one enjoyed the fun and cozy play area. This lunch was not only delicious but also a real moment of relaxation for us!

Ordered drinks and food from the waitress. Cutlery was not immediately put down. Had to wait 8 minutes for drinks. 45 minutes for food. Staff is not well informed about how the service works. Often walk around empty-handed. When bringing the soft drinks, the empty coffee cups are not cleared. When clearing an empty table, a cloth is put over the table and the crumbs are swept on the floor. When bringing the soft drinks, they did not ask who drank what but put it on the table without interest. Unfortunately for us, not worth repeating.

What a super delicious meal, it was not busy so I quickly received my ordered chicken tenders in an oriental style, surprisingly tasty!!! This is the 4th time I have eaten here and once again it is very tasty, highly recommended. Sometimes you think it's not busy, yes, but that's not the case here, quiet and delicious food!!!!

Dit restaurant is fantastisch! Zelden zo'n heerlijke Japanse Zalm teriyaki gegeten. Leuke tent, vriendelijke bediening. Komen hier absoluut nog eens terug!

Delicious lunch in a beautiful atmosphere. Unfortunately, a small downside, my brother-in-law's bouncer was overcooked, egg yolks were really too hard. But after our feedback this was resolved professionally and to our satisfaction. Therefore 5 stars.

Binnen geheel gerenoveerd, mooie sfeervolle zaak ( buiten twijfelde we nog, maar loop gewoon naar binnen). We bestelde loaded fries en n broodje biefstuk. Zo lekker hadden we ze nog niet gehad. Nu snapte we ook waarom t zo druk was in de zaak, de volgende keer Epen komen we zekers hier ook weer terug.

We had a delicious meal, service was great. Max certainly helped us perfectly 😉 but the rest of the service was great. Kitchen 5 stars delicious food. Great atmosphere, we are close to Rotterdam, if this were not the case we would certainly visit more often. And nice music in the background.

We hebben hier vaker gegeten en tot vandaag was het altijd goed. Vandaag was een mindere ervaring. Opgewarmde saté van de haas met als gevolg erg droge varkenshaas. Ook de bediening stond liever aan de bar dan af en toe bij de tafels te komen vragen of alles naar wens was.

Ordered lunch today in the sun on the terrace. We both had the two croquettes on brown bread. Unfortunately, the bread was very old and dry, but edible with the croquette on it... Still, when clearing the table, I mentioned this to the kitchen. Immediate apology and it was resolved well. Compliments for the waitress👍

Tonight we had dinner at the Baron with a group of 11 people, the entire group was very satisfied.

Food was super good, but some of the staff were rubbish. Not paying attention to refill the drinks. Customers after us received food much earlier. And not 1 customer but 3/4. Then you feel quite exhausted. After reporting it, 1 waitress responded correctly by apologizing. The rest were downright rude.

Cozy terrace in a busy shopping street. Ordered a sandwich and a sandwich. Took a long time and later customers were served sooner. Wasn't very busy and there were 2 waitresses. They were very friendly. Ultimately, the wrong sandwich was brought (which was remade) and the bouncer only had one of the three yolks still intact. Salt and pepper on all tables were soaked with rainwater so could not be used. This was known to the staff, but they simply left it alone. Prices are normal.

Wij besloten zaterdag even te gaan winkelen in Epe. Een dorp dat we vooral kennen van een tentvakantie lang geleden op de Veluwe. Tussen de middag hadden we al een tas vol, tijd voor koffie. Het was gezellig druk met allemaal oude auto's langs de straat en een muziekinstallatie bij de kerk, die slechts popmuziek uit late jaren '60, begin jaren '70 draaide. Dit maakte de sfeervol wel wat oubollig in het dorp. Op het terras bij de Baron neergestreken. Gastvrije bediening, 2 heerlijke koffie met een likeurtje en slagroom en gebak gegeten. Wij zaten dicht bij de luispreker hoorde o.a.Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress) van de Hollies. Toen we 10 minuten later weer in de auto starten was het eerste nummer dat we op de radio hoorden opnieuw Long Cool Woman (In a Black Dress). Toeval bestaat.

Just waited 15 minutes to place the order. Waited another 10 minutes and nothing was served, while others who came in later were served their orders. We just went somewhere else.

Good people who work there and good food and drinks. Wasn't the first time and certainly not the last time. Simply great.

fantastisch gegeten. geweldige kok, medewerkers. lang geleden dat ik zo een geweldige ossenhaas heb gegeten op een prachtig opgemaakt bord. TOP

Verleden jaar op vakantie nemen we altijd tomatensoep bij de Baron, laatste keer was de soep niet te eten zo pittig en zout, nu zijn we weer op vakantie en vroeg de bediening of het al beter was met de soep, zou getest worden, eenmaal geserveerd (door andere bediende) was deze weer niet te eten zo zout en pittig, hebben alles laten staan incl drinken en afgerekend en zien ons nooit meer terug, veel succes met de bedrijfsvoering

2 keer pistolet kip teriyaki, heel erg zout. Kip gesudderd plakkerig, leek op kant en klare kip kebab uit de vriezer. Sla onder de kip was van slechte kwaliteit, bijna verrot. 1 tosti pikant, was heel pikant , stikte er bijna van zo pittig. Bediening zeer vriendelijk. Ga hier nooit meer heen

Ze liegen niet over de MINI pizza op het menu… en dat voor €10,75? Gestoord. Om even een beeld te geven, het is nog kleiner dan een medium pizza van domino’s. Champignonroomsoep was redelijk lekker, maar erg machtig. Niet aan te raden, want je krijgt het halvewege niet op en dat is zonde van het geld. Sfeer en bediening was prima.
