Lots of good quality Delicious and delivered on time

This cafe-restaurant has a terrace on Dijkstraat, where I often sit and enjoy a drink with others. At the back, there's a kind of terrace garden with a view of the Damsterdiep canal. Inside, there's a restaurant where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Highly recommended. The service is excellent. The owner and his wife run the business in a way that's rare: so friendly. In short: highly recommended!

Ordered for the first time at the Brasserie. Food was great, delicious at temperature and delivery excellent. 1 small thing, the sauce was a bit through the bag. For the rest top in order, I will order here more often.

Most disgusting aldi hamburger bun you can get in all of Appingedam. And it also tasted like old frying fat.

Went again today, ordered raspata, quite normal. There were bits and pieces on the bottom of the plate. You couldn't see them at first because the long fries were neatly placed on top. You don't serve something like that. Moreover, more than half were tough. (The regular fries were also tough).

I haven't eaten such a delicious apple pie in a long time.

It looks cozy. Unfortunately the service made mistakes and the food was not great. For example, the kibbeling was overcooked and rather seasoned and the salad was minimal and sour.

Unfriendly staff. It was not possible to get an ice cream with my son an hour before closing time, because it was supposedly too busy. Last time we were not allowed to eat our ice cream behind the water, it was only for food... there was no one there! Bad service.

It's simply a top case. Good food, table service, nice people, top location

Walked in on Friday afternoon at 5:15 PM. Waited 20 minutes for the order to be taken. Guests who came in 10 minutes later had already finished their food when our food was served. 1.5 hours after walking in. the food we ordered was tasty. They also have delicious ice cream. Tip to the owner: keep a closer eye on the order in which guests arrive.

A delicious omelet with ham and kaas. Not expensive and enough power to make the tour back by bike. People are friendly, precise and friendly here and it is also quite cozy and quiet.

I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It was excellent value and the food was delicious. For about 17 euros, we had a huge sandwich, a kids meal, 2 soft drinks and 2 huge, tasty, double scoop gelato cones. The kids meal also included a small gift, which my daughter chose after the meal. We sat outside, which was very pleasant. The staff were very nice and the food was served extremely promptly. Our Dutch didn't quite stretch to understanding all of the menu, but help was on hand.

Knowledgeable and friendly staff. There are a lot of options, do you want a different table setup, inside or outside or whatever, they always try to help. Get along fine with English guests, the food is absolutely fine. Large portions, fresh products and a kind word go a long way. Plenty of distraction for the children inside with a game or coloring things and even a present afterwards. Absolutely recommended!!

Had Wienerschnitzel delivered. Sorry, but this was not a Wienerschnitzel but a breaded piece. I'm used to them the way they taste and look in Austria, so top quality. I heard they are baked on a plate. A real Wienerschnitzel is not prepared this way. Be sure to offer it, but prepare them properly! Success guaranteed! I think it's just a tip that you can follow.

Appingedam is a beautiful place. Mainly known for the hanging kitchens. It was wonderful there and we had a delicious lunch with the King of Groningen.

Aangeland bij deze brasserie of is het en snackbar of bar of pannekoekhuis of ijssalon. Oogt wat donker binnen en wat is die bak in het midden? Vriendelijk aardige vlotte bediening. Broodjes prima van smaak alleen de sla onder het broodje brie meegrillen is niet lekker. Snel op tafel.

I have eaten here twice now and I would love to come back again, I really enjoy the food, I think this is my favorite restaurant/snack bar. The spare ribs are especially delicious. The portions are big enough for me, so I'm well filled. I personally didn't like the salad that much. I'll come by again soon!

Friendly service, nice and quiet seating. They also have what is on the menu. Food is served quickly. But if you fancy pancakes, find another spot ;) there is a play corner for the children, although difficult to find, half hidden under the bar.

Rarely have you sat on such a cozy and nice terrace. No noise or other annoying sounds. You sit in the backyard while the boats sail by and you look out at the historic houses of Appingedam. Nice menu with fine dishes that are reasonably priced. No high-quality culinary menu, but tasty and pleasant food. With the spare ribs you get a nice bowl of water to wash your hands. Fast and friendly service. A small point for improvement could be: the tables are quite small to eat at. The salad could also consist of more fresh products and be slightly larger. Nice owner who has a friendly chat with you at checkout. There should be more of this.
