Smooth service; even if you didn't order by phone.

The food is nice and hot when you get it. There was almost no salt on my fries, and I saw a jar of salt, but unfortunately, it was already way past its 2021 expiration date. Also, the floor is very sticky 😅. There was nothing wrong with the food; it was just fine. We just threw the jar of salt in the trash.

I was at De Royal recently with my family, having fries. The food? Absolutely fantastic – crispy, hot, delicious satay sauce. The kids were happy too. But the place itself… oh my gosh. The tables were way too close to the benches, so you're sitting like a folded camping chair. The atmosphere is awful, the staff sometimes a bit passive, but not always. The waiting bench had holes, which were fixed with those weird fabric circles. It looks awful. And yes, there was no salt on our table. I had to start carrying it again right in the middle of my fries moment. In short: the food is a solid 8.5. The rest? Meh, 5.5. Next time, I'll just eat at home.

I got a Fries Royal but the fries weren't baked long enough. Unfortunately I had to throw half of it away. The reason there are still three stars is that I no longer live in the Appingedam region. But when I visit again, it is usually always delicious to eat! The atmosphere always seems to be good with the staff (she has been there for years; that is a good sign).

The food was served very nicely and was also good. The waitress came to the table to take the order, then served it and informed us that she was already carrying the rest of the order, which showed professionalism. The only thing I can criticize is the simple decorations or their lack, which affects the atmosphere of the cafeteria.

Plate of fries shourma with raw vegetables and both sauces, for the 2nd time today, specially rerouted, perfectly perfect. A lot for little. Delicious!! 😘😘

Unfortunately, the pork tenderloin was not on a stick, but in far too large pieces in a container. the satay sauce was excessive and way too sharp for my taste, but there are people who like it very spicy. Because the sauce is so overpowering you can barely taste the meat. Shame!
