We enjoyed the delicious dishes tonight; what a fantastic chef is stirring the pots behind the scenes. We are very happy that we ate here, highly recommended.

Racist staff (1 woman) We were able to choose a table from 2 waitresses, then someone else came over and told us that we couldn't order food and that we could only have a drink and then had to leave because the table was reserved. Subsequently, they claimed all tables were reserved. And yet, there was food on the tables right next to us. Later back in the car, my boyfriend said it was a weird situation and I thought I'd just call to ask if we could reserve a table, and sure enough, there was actually a table free... it's very strange. Too bad for the boss because we were really looking forward to a nice meal.

The restaurant was not very busy on this Monday evening, and we ate on the terrace. The hamburger was very good, and the fries were excellent. The service was okay.

We had a lovely lunch with our 3 children. Extensive lunch menu, very friendly staff. Despite being busy, they were quick. The food was tasty. We were asked a few times in between courses if everything was to our liking. The interior is also very beautiful and cozy. Definitely recommended!!

A very nice place; I had a delicious iced coffee there before. Yesterday, however, we were asked to leave at 4:00 PM when we wanted to have a drink because they were starting dinner service? Very strange; we were simply sent away by a not-so-friendly waiter, even though there were people sitting next to us drinking coffee. We have never experienced that before. So, we certainly won't be coming back here; it's a real shame.

Cold spare ribs, which were quickly warmed up in the microwave. Few staff, lots of screaming and shouting from a large group of young men. A party is fun, but thinking of others in a public place is also allowed. Food sent back three times, received the same reheated plate three times. Out of desperation, I got an ice cream elsewhere. The bill was incorrect as well; drinks from another table were added to our bill. Unfortunately, not worth repeating.

We ate on a Saturday evening. It was normally busy. The service was pleasant and bringing the food to the table was quick. And the food was also very tasty, was the unanimous opinion of us all. We will definitely come back here.

We come here often, but today I was a bit surprised. I had ordered a toasted sandwich and it came with a salad that had been sitting on the plate for a while, by the look of it. The lettuce was wilted and discolored, the cucumber was dried out just like the tomato, so I decided to leave it. When clearing the table, I was asked if I had enjoyed it. I indicated that the toasted sandwich was fine, but the salad wasn't. She looked at the salad and I heard her say, 'I get it, I wouldn't eat that either,' and that was it.

Compliments to Dunnik for offering free drinks. We were there for dinner and it took a bit longer than usual; time was running a bit tight to get to ArteZ University for the final inspection of the graduates. We were offered a coffee in advance. We didn't wait for it, paid, and were about to leave, when I think the owner came walking up to the cash register—after all, we had paid. We were offered the opportunity to come back later in the evening to enjoy a drink (cocktail). And that is exactly what happened; our son and his fiancé enjoyed it later that evening. Thank you.

A very nice and cozy lunchroom near the large church in the center of Zwolle. Good food, fast service. I do find it a bit pricey, a crispy chicken sandwich with fries for 17 euros. It is a very tasty sandwich, I must say, and the fries are thick. You can park (for a fee) nearby by the city wall in the QPark garage.

The staff is very friendly. We ate the meatballs on a bun and the beef croquettes. Recommended. Tip: look around and read the sayings on the signs.

Delicious mustard soup and a 'bit of everything' platter! Main courses were good too! Desserts were delicious! Our theater visit (times) were taken into account; we were a group of 9 people. Prompt and friendly service! We will definitely come back again.

What a drama, how hard can it be to serve a cup of coffee with something tasty for 3 people? Once the coffee is finished, we just ask where the rest is. By the time it finally arrives, the fun is pretty much over.

The ham sandwich was more like a lettuce sandwich; you had to search for the ham. Cleaning the table wouldn't have been a bad idea either. We'll just go somewhere else next time.

Yesterday, I had a delicious meal here with friends. The restaurant has a cozy, warm, and atmospheric feel. The bread rolls with dip as a starter and the chicken satay as a main course are highly recommended! As a surprise, because I am pregnant, the friendly staff gave me a very sweet gift! All in all, not only was the food delicious, but it is also a place that truly cares about its guests. Definitely worth going back again🤩

A really nice restaurant in the center of Zwolle! When we arrived around 12:30, it was already quite busy, and we had to wait outside for about 5 minutes until there was a table available. Fortunately, we were quickly ushered inside. We were served quickly, and both the food and drinks were brought promptly. The food tasted good and was also a good price, something like 20 p.p. with drinks. Friendly staff and a beautiful restaurant to boot!

The food was served quickly. The portions were mediocre. And vegetables were nowhere to be found. Not worth repeating.

Had lunch here on a sunny day in late February 2026. The terrace was full, so we sat inside. It looked cozy but was dark. I had a Brass Pilsner on tap, which tasted bland. My wife had a delicious bock beer. I had satay for lunch, which tasted good, though it didn't come with enough satay sauce. My wife had pulled pork. A large portion, but she didn't like it. The service was good. They sat outside in the shade; there was no sun in the afternoon.

We were able to get a delicious bite to eat just before closing time, even though the kitchen was already closed. Super tasty satay.

We landed in Zwolle more or less by chance and stopped at Brasserie Dunnik for lunch. Upon arrival, it was full inside—a mere minute, according to the hostess. Plenty of seats were also occupied outside under the heaters. Usually a good indication for a stranger to choose where to eat. We weren't disappointed. After a short wait, we found a nice spot for two at a high table with matching chairs. We always appreciate that. The Pinot Grigio was delicious. After a quick glance at the menu, we were offered a classic ham and cheese sandwich and the perhaps even more classic meatball on a roll. The classic sandwich was simple and delicious, just as you'd expect. The side salad was excellent, and tasted truly fresh, which is often unusual. The classic meatball wasn't a canned meatball, but homemade and well-fried. It came in a separate small pan with satay sauce. You can choose the sauce, so classic mustard is also an option. A brown roll, halved, with butter and slices of ground meat—delicious! The salad here too, was simply delicious. A great lunch. The Pinot Grigio went down nicely. An espresso to finish. €54 for a lunch for two, with two rounds of wine and a sparkling water each, is just right. So, off to Dunnik for lunch.

Extremely bad fries. More than half of my bowl was leftovers from the bottom: dark brown and dried out. The chef should be extremely ashamed.

Ordered a gluten-free sandwich. I repeatedly asked to confirm whether the sandwich, including toppings, was completely gluten-free. When it was served, it came with fried onions. This is generally not gluten-free. After asking and checking again, it turned out the fried onions weren't gluten-free after all. It's a real shame that this isn't taken so seriously. This has led to another loss of confidence in the reliability of gluten-free food in public restaurants.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food! We spontaneously popped in here last week for a quick lunch. The place was almost completely full, except for one table for four. There were only two of us, but luckily that wasn't a problem at all. I saw on the menu that they have their own beers for beer lovers—definitely something to try next time. The lunch menu also offers a nice selection of tasty sandwiches and wraps (which is what I went for). The food was served quickly, tasted delicious, and looked well presented. If we're ever in Zwolle again and fancy a delicious lunch, we'll definitely be back.

Today (Black Friday) we stopped at this lovely, atmospheric brasserie for lunch while shopping in Zwolle. It was quite busy and all the tables were taken. The friendly lady at the entrance let us sit at the bar for a bit, and we got a table in no time. The sandwiches we ordered arrived quickly, despite the crowd. The presentation was beautiful and the taste was excellent—just great! The interior is very atmospheric.

Brasserie Dunnik is a lovely restaurant in the center of Zwolle. The food is excellent, and the service is good and fast. (Even though a dish was initially delivered with cheese instead of without, the error was promptly and efficiently corrected.) The truffle fries are a highly recommended side dish.

Good value for money. Delicious food. And they were very accommodating when we indicated we needed to leave early for a theater performance. Fast service. Highly recommended.

Wednesday evening was a quiet one, but perfect for us, as someone with ABI (Non-Abstructive Brain Injury). We'd mentioned this beforehand, but were assigned a table for six near the entrance, right under the loudspeaker. Not an ideal spot. However, once we'd mentioned it, it was no problem to choose another spot, in a room where the music could also be muted, so it was perfectly arranged and a great solution. Of course, this was also possible because it wasn't busy. It's wonderful to see the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. And let's not forget the food: delicious, cozy and atmospheric seating, and friendly staff. Highly recommended, and we'll be back!

Bad, the door was constantly open, drafty, asked for white bread, got brown bread, and then it was supposed to be exchanged, after 15 minutes I checked in and you guessed it, forgot! Then I was served the same, now cold, croquettes. So for us, this was a one-off.

It's a shame there are only four vegetarian lunch options on the menu. Only the tomato soup is vegan... when we told the staff, they didn't offer an option to order something else without the meat. It's out of date. We also watched in astonishment as a manager (?) powdered her hair right next to our table. It was unhygienic and awkward.

The croquettes weren't really hot. The lettuce was old and had some leftover lettuce stalks. The tomatoes and cucumbers were old. While eating, they asked if everything was to their liking. I replied, "Not really to my liking." The service was poor, rushed, and unwilling to listen to what customers said about the bad food. There were several customer complaints that went unheeded and were dismissed. The staff said, "You should report earlier so we can do something, like offer you a cup of coffee." Not recommended; the food wasn't worth the price.

My partner and I can be found here on a weekly basis for a nice cup of coffee and a soft drink, or to have lunch. We like to come back for a reason, good friendly and fast service and also affordable. And of course very tasty!

Everything was good despite it being so busy

Received vegetarian burger without mustard and bbq sauce, but I'm not that saucy. Also no bbq sauce with my girlfriend's burger, this was indicated, then we got a container with it. Dessert of 10 euros would consist of a scoop of white chocolate ice cream, a brownie, chocolate mousse and a tuft of whipped cream. The whipped cream was missing, received upon inquiry. The chocolate mousse turned out to be mocha mousse and I don't like coffee. This was indicated. We could have gotten a brownie with it for half the price... Half a brownie was not an option. Bad service, if you put something on the menu you have to deliver, state that it is different or compensate!

Mediocre service, no satisfaction check, no recommendations when ordered dishes overlap. Zucchini soup was inedible due to overpowering pepper and bitter aftertaste. Otherwise a standard menu with reasonable prices.

I can only judge on the service and atmosphere. Staff were friendly and helpful. I asked if they had rolls without sugar. They didn't know this and found out. Even the bread packaging was shown with ingredients listed on it. Unfortunately they didn't have bread without sugar, so we went to another brasserie. The card looked good otherwise. Even though we didn't eat there, we still give it 4 stars.

Had lunch. Ham sandwich was very mediocre. Awkwardly thick ball of bread, some salad and very thin 2 slices of meat, fried. No, it was not a feast. Fries were excellent. Service friendly and smooth.
