I had lunch here today and ordered a pulled chicken sandwich. Unfortunately, I found the sandwich very salty; for me, the taste of the broth was overpowering, making it unpleasant. I ended up eating about a quarter of it and indicated that I didn't want to finish it. The response was that this is the standard way the sandwich is prepared. That is possible, of course; tastes differ. What I found disappointing, however, is that no alternative or solution was offered. Ultimately, I had to pay the full price for a dish I barely ate. It is not so much about the money for me, but more about the way the feedback was handled. I would have appreciated a little understanding or an alternative. Therefore, I am unfortunately leaving the restaurant with a less positive impression.

Had a delicious meal on the terrace by the water. Very friendly service, quick and helpful. Beautiful surroundings, but the playground is by the water, so keep an eye on the children!!

This morning, my girlfriend and I wanted to go for coffee and lunch at the Parkpaviljoen. While I was waiting for my girlfriend, I realized that this would also be a nice place to hold my primary school reunion. It turned out the pavilion was not yet open at 11:15, and we had reserved a table for 12:00 and asked if we could sit somewhere here to wait in the meantime. The waitress on duty wouldn't allow that, because 'she wasn't ready yet'. My girlfriend uses a cane, and I really wanted her to be able to sit down; I wanted to place two chairs in the shade on the side of the pavilion. Immediately, the waitress came around the corner to chase us away from there too! When we reacted to this, rather bewildered, we were snapped at: 'Perhaps it would have been helpful if *you* had checked the opening hours'. This very customer-unfriendly attitude really hit us hard; I find it classless and quite aggressive. We left, never to return to this terrace.

Nice place, but for €2 per bitterball, I really wasn't done.

We were assigned to a table. It was just too busy there for me, so we were moved to a quieter section without any problems. After that, we had a delicious lunch; the plate was full!! Nice lunch and a cozy atmosphere here.

I ate here on Saturday with a friend after we cleaned up the park. It was nice and quiet and the Zwolle mustard soup was good. Beautiful interior, that completes the experience.

Nice spot in the park, good food, but really pricey. One of the waiters is easily irritated and rushed, which is a shame. The girls, on the other hand, are great!

We took a breath of fresh air there. Cozy atmosphere. A slightly unusual lunch menu. They don't have a healthy sandwich, but they do have a shrimp sandwich, a pulled chicken sandwich, or a pork belly wrap. But everything was perfectly fine.

Looks great, nicely decorated. The lunch was delicious, looked nice, but a bit pricey. €18.50 for a sandwich and €12.50 for a grilled cheese (see photo) seems a lot to me.

Great location, fantastic atmosphere, but let's just say... Those prices! A portion of fries with a snack for the kids: €11. Absolutely ridiculous. Everything is getting more expensive, but this example is completely out of proportion.

Beautiful restaurant with a pleasant and atmospheric decor. However, the price-quality ratio for lunch dishes is a bit off. 18 euros for a relatively simple sandwich. It's a shame, because the place is very nice...

On arrival and departure you have to pass through a dark park, past a collection of drug dealers, users and other suspicious people, this does not feel very safe

We thoroughly enjoyed our food and drinks. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, thanks in part to the fantastic decor. The waitress, Henny in our case, was really great. You can see and feel the joy she takes in her work. The fast service made our evening absolutely fantastic! We'll definitely be back!

Great location, good atmosphere, but the menu is ridiculously overpriced. We had some bitterballen with drinks: 7 for 13 euros! That's 1.85 per bitterball. Almost laughable. The rest of the menu isn't much better and is just plain expensive. While it might be a nice place, we'll go elsewhere for a casual drink in the meantime.

I asked if they had fresh orange juice. They did, so I ordered it. I got orange juice with extra pulp from a carton and then had to pay €4.25. That's cheating me. The least you could do is tell them there's no fresh orange juice, only juice from a carton. Then I could have ordered something else.

Nice place, but way too expensive! This lovely pavilion has Amsterdam prices! (€13 for 7 bitterballen) It's even cheaper in Amsterdam! The atmosphere is great, the staff is also very friendly, and the location is fantastic! But those prices are absolutely ridiculous! Such a shame...

Beautiful location, only a pity the owner can be quite aggressive towards passersby who want to use the public beach without ordering anything from him. I checked with the municipality of Zwolle, and they say the beach is publicly accessible and not his private property, as this strange man claims.

Nice location behind the provincial government office in the park. Sandy beach for children. Sandwiches and fried eggs are very expensive. On average, 5 euros more expensive than comparable locations. Service is good.

I was here with an organization party when it was 36 degrees. So it was very hot, but the employees kept working well, despite the heat. They kept bringing the drinks. The BBQ was also very good... was always well filled and was nice and hot. Good fries and salad. By the way, the cake beforehand was also delicious. 👍

Niet voor herhaling vatbaar gezien de crimineel hoge prijzen. 6 bitterballen, een koffie en een ijsthee kostte ons € 20,40. Hoe durf je deze prijzen te vragen? Wij komen hier nooit meer terug zolang deze schandalig hoge prijzen worden gerekend. Ik moest drie keer op de bon en de menukaart kijken maar het is echt waar. € 20,40.

Het is een prachtige locatie maar helaas staat de muziek veel te hard om een normaal gesprek te kunnen voeren en als je aan de bediening vraagt of de parasol uitgeklapt mag ivm de felle zon komt er eerst geen reactie en daarna moeilijk, moeilijk. (Is uiteindelijk dus ook niet gebeurd) Ook werd even meegedeeld dat om half 3 "onze" tafel (die we gereserveerd hadden) weer gereserveerd was. De lunch was heerlijk maar het gaf geen welkom gevoel. Met een rolstoel is het ook best een uitdaging want het richeltje van binnen naar buiten is verraderlijk en het houten plankier blijven de voorste wieltjes gemakkelijk in steken. Met 1 poot van de gewone stoel is ook nog door 1 van de planken gezakt.

Lovely place in the middle of the park, friendly people and hard-working staff. Food is tasty and sandwiches well filled. We really enjoy coming here. Coffee did not come at the same time as pastries, but it was lovely in the sun, the owner with good curly hair was also extremely helpful and charming, so no problem at all. Wonderful place, really enjoy coming here.

Cozy atmosphere. Food mediocre in terms of taste and decoration. Price/quality not in balance. Vega plank could better be called vegetable plank. Vegetables were nicely grilled, but I expected more. Risotto is tasty. Frying fat was not OK. Friendly service, time for a nice chat. Strange that a doggy bag is refused but people choose to throw food over sustainability. Seems like a small effort to me.

A beautiful and certainly well decorated restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was truly disappointing and the quality was out of proportion to the rest. The Caesar salad was unfortunately not authentic and many of the ingredients had clearly been saved by using cheap alternatives and the taste was therefore lacking.

We were a group of 7 adults and 7 children, on a day with all types of weather conditions. Hennie greeted us with the opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the amazing surroundings, but was quick to move us under shelter when it was needed. The service was friendly and quick, the food was delicious. The Monica salad, bitterballen, tomato soup and pulled chicken sandwiches, were all delicious, and the chips were the best we've had!

Locatie is fantastisch. Zeker met mooi weer en kinderen. De service, de kaart en de prijzen laten helaas te wensen over. Houten vlonder is aan vernieuwing toe. Zitten grote kieren waar ik met stoelpoot tussen kwam (met baby op schoot) en omviel. Service laat lang op zich wachten. En dan de prijzen. Ik snap dat alles duurder is. Maar als voorbeeld: 7ordinaire bitterballen voor 12euro heb ik niet eerder meegemaakt. Weer even naar de tekentafel en het kan weer een top tent worden.

After a fair in the park we sat inside and they got too busy and couldn't order, so we were sent away together with other people👎 This has to be the worst restaurant ever. How do you scare customers away? Washed once but never again.

We had an excellent dinner here. The food tasted good. Those who chose cod found the portion small and the sauce too small. Duck and attorney were fine. Sufficient garnish. Dessert was excellent. Service was attentive but very businesslike and perfunctory. 6 euros for a bottle of water is very expensive. Tap water was not possible. This is the case with many restaurants. Stupid. The tap water in the Netherlands is of such quality that still water should not be offered in an expensive bottle. It is a pleasant pavilion. Beautifully located in Wezenlanden Park.

We celebrated my father's birthday there

I thought I would order a nice sandwich with brie, but I finished it in 6 bites. And that for 14 euros. They should be ashamed. I filed a complaint and was then graciously given an extra piece of bread. But all in all really not worth more than 3.50. Shame

1x maar nooit meer. Ik had een broodje brie besteld op boerenbrood en pecannoten. Ik heb eerlijk gezegd geen pecannoot gezien en de boterhammen waren zo klein en dun dat ik me zelf zou schamen om dit te durven verkopen. Een boterham van de Lidl is nog groter en dikker. De grote helft heb ik in 4 happen opgegeten en de kleine helft waren letterlijk 2 happen. Dus in 6 happen had ik alles op en daar betaal je dan 14 euro voor! Voordat ik er aan begon heb ik er een klacht over ingediend en daarop werd gezegd dat het op de prijs berekend was. Echter de mensen aan mijn tafel met zalm hadden 2x zo veel terwijl zalm zeker 4x zo duur is als brie. Toen ik zei dat ik het zelf niet zou durven verkopen en ik al jaren in de horeca werk hebben ze er een boterham bijgegeven maar niet van harte. We stonden binnen 50 minuten weer buiten en gaan hier niet meer heen

Geweldige plek voor een lunch met het hele gezin. Kindvriendelijk. Heerlijke gerechten, zoals caesar salade, broodje pulled chicken, uitsmijtet met kaas en chorizo, etc. Als toetje een appelkanjer van bakkerij Assendelft met een espresso. Aanrader, dit gezellige restaurant in het park!

Waitress had appalling manners. I took a friend from abroad who insisted on paying for the food, including a generous tip. Three cards (credit and debit) were rejected until I had to jump in and pay with my Dutch card, which was of course quite embarrassing. Very provincial and unprofessional but worse: no apology or even sympathy whatsoever, as if we were lucky to be their guests to begin with. I’m afraid this waitress lacks some essential qualifications, and the restaurant needs to get their act together

Beautiful place, but oh, how much room for improvement there is in the service! I come there regularly with friends, but there is always hassle. Rudeness, no attention to dirty series that just remain on the table, no attention and certainly no customer is king feeling. What a shame for such a beautiful, atmospheric place.

The basics of the dishes are good, lots of garnishes, but the taste lacks balance. For example, a lot of smoked salmon, very little cream cheese. Here a fresh one with herbs would have been better because there was a lot of smoked salmon. With the Caesar it's basically the same, lots of garnishes but no flavor accents, then it quickly becomes too much. Now the 5 stars, I have not experienced such attentive service in a long time and felt so pleasantly welcomed at a hoteca occasion.
