What a cozy restaurant and delicious food! The smashed avocado dish is so delicious that (as a vegetarian) you'll want to stop by just for it.

Some dishes can be ordered vegetarian or vegan. I asked how that would work with a burger with bacon, cheese, etc., for example. The server's answer was that they would simply omit the non-vegan ingredients. When I asked if the price would be adjusted accordingly, since you'd get less, unfortunately, that wasn't the case. So I paid €20 for a plate of iceberg lettuce with fries and (hopefully) vegan mayo. In the middle was a bowl of vegan chicken pieces and caramelized onion. The bell pepper promised to come with the dish was nowhere to be found (I found one tiny piece at the bottom of the bowl). There's also nothing vegan available for dessert, after a quick glance at the menu. I didn't feel like asking again what was available. A real shame, especially for a restaurant that advertises that a significant portion of its menu is vegan. What would have been better would have been a separate section on the menu for vegan dishes that simply listed what you'll be getting, so you wouldn't have to guess whether parts of your order will be replaced with a vegan product or omitted. Pros: The young woman who served us was super friendly, the decor was beautiful, the atmosphere was good, and the dishes were beautifully presented. A really great restaurant if you're a go-getter, but unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it for vegan food.

Sat on the terrace with a friend for coffee and tea on Saturday afternoon. We didn't eat anything, so I can't give a star rating for the food. We received very quick and friendly service from the young staff. The chairs were comfortable. We will definitely be back.

The lunch sandwiches were missing ingredients. Unfortunately, no staff could be found to report this. As a result, the salmon sandwich was very dry. When we checked out, we pointed out that some of the ingredients listed on the menu were missing. All we got was an "oh haha." Not worth repeating.

We had a wonderful meal at Midas. What a delicious beet burger, and my table companions were just as happy with their schnitzels. The cheesecake for dessert was also delicious. We also enjoyed the cozy atmosphere and friendly people, so we'll definitely be back.

Just had dinner here and it was great! Lots of choice, also gluten vegan and lactose free options and very nice staff. De Boekenkast and de Bank are better known in Capelle but Midas is really recommended!

An asset to the Stadsplein in Capelle aan den IJssel. Very friendly service. Menu not very extensive but certainly offers something for everyone. Large portions. Price/quality more than good. I hope that the current level is and remains the standard. Negative point: the rock-hard herb butter directly from the refrigerator that is served with some dishes... you can't do anything with that.

We recently had dinner at Midas Capelle. The food is very tasty and the service is excellent. After the dessert took a little too long to arrive, they came up with a compensation proposal with a drink of your choice. A wonderful experience to eat here and we will see you again soon!

We had something to celebrate last night. It was my girlfriend's birthday so we went to your place for dinner with friends. The men had surf and turf and the ladies had slip sole. Both had a bad experience with this. The tongue was tasteless and did not taste good at all. The kitchen must ensure that this is improved. We found this very unfortunate.

Our lunch was delicious and more than enough! It wasn't very busy inside yet, but there were already quite a few guests outside. Looks neat and cozy! Went last Friday. It is nice and attractively decorated, but we won't go again. It may have been a snapshot, but it was chaos. Things went wrong from moment 1. Forgot a drink. Wrong menu, then they completely forgot about us, ordered another drink, forgot again. It was busy according to the (we think) manager and we apologize for the inconvenience. But there were also sufficient staff in the kitchen. it just wasn't a well-oiled machine. Chicken thighs with satay sauce, the chicken was eaten through, we had potatoes instead of fries, had to ask for cutlery. We waited a very long time for our dish. We did get a drink on the house for the inconvenience, but we won't go again. It's a shame because it is right next to the theater and it would have been nice if we had a good, nice restaurant to choose from. Hopefully they have evaluated and learned from this evening and it is an incident. Despite all the mistakes, the staff remained friendly, but you buy so little for that....

A nice place to have lunch. Friendly service and delicious food! This is my first time here, but it is worth repeating.

On February 22nd, I had lunch here with a friend: Beef Teriyaki 2.0 was anything but "yucky", but "yummy"! However, for my rather visually impaired friend it was difficult to distinguish the food from the richly colored plates. In the evening we were going to dine somewhere else on the Stadsplein, but everything was full because of a theater performance. Eventually we were able to have dinner here. Unfortunately, the fries with the schnitzel took quite a while and I found the table much too small, with the menus and mood lighting on it. Despite these drawbacks, I had a wonderful meal here.

Once again we found a nice place to have a nice and good meal. The staff succeeds in their aim to make you feel welcome. The menu does not have excessive choices, but good choices. Meat, fish, vegetarian, it is there. What they have, is also good and is served in good portions. You certainly will not leave hungry. We, six carnivores, chose chicken thigh satay and old-fashioned large and especially tasty schnitzels after a surprisingly good and originally served carpaccio. Good fries and fried potatoes with it and a small salad. Absolutely a hit as far as we are concerned. Just like the desserts. No childish portions of ice cream, but nice sweet treats. The whipped cream is delicious and not spray can mess. Another plus is that they offer options to be ready in time to catch the show in the adjacent theater. Finally, the music is at a pleasant volume, something that many restaurants just do not want to understand. You come for the food, not for the disco and Midas has understood that. Is there nothing to complain about? Oh well, a whiner always finds something. We, there were six of us and would have liked to see a more extensive beer menu. This, because in addition to the food, we like to stick around for a beer. All in all, we would like to come back again, especially when brown beer appears on the menu 😉.

Amazing, so grateful to have them in Capelle. Food was fresh, delicious and cooked in house. We had their "famous teriyaki sandwich"( pictured)and a chicken burger.(Pictured) Both were phenomenal. As an added benefit they actually serve free tap water which always gives restaurants an extra star in my opinion and makes me more likely to try other paid drinks. We had two of the juices both which were very good and rather filling. This spot will definitely become a date night regular for us and we are excited to try the rest of the menu. I've noticed a lot of the older reviews are for the previous restaurant, it has changed recently so don't listen to the old reviews or expect similar menu items.

What a wonderful experience at Midas Capelle! It was a cozy, bright space with a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we were made welcome straight away. The menu offers a great choice of lunch dishes, from fresh salads to luxurious sandwiches and burgers. The children have also been thought of. I went for the Club Midas, which did not disappoint at all. The bread was perfect, the salad on it was wonderfully creamy, the chicken was tender and the entire combination was great! The carpaccio, which was not only tasty, but also had just the right balance of taste, is also highly recommended. The prices were fine and the portions more than sufficient. It's also nice that there are a number of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu! In short, I can highly recommend Midas Capelle. The combination of quality, atmosphere and friendly service definitely makes this a place I would like to return to.

If I could give 10 stars, this restaurant would definitely get it! The food was really delicious! “Every bite is a golden taste” It's been a long time since we had such a good meal, my wife and I opted for a gold and silver 3 course menu, everything was perfect Nice young club that keeps things running smoothly. Not recommended for Christmas. Instead of a cozy dinner with family, I imagined myself in a football canteen. Extremely noisy guests walking in and out every few minutes to smoke. Very disturbing. Annoying experience.

I was very hesitant about leaving a review. But it doesn't sit well with me. In itself it is a nice tent, provided they could be a bit more customer friendly. I ordered the mixed grill. But unfortunately all the meat tasted a bit the same, also because my pork tenderloin was red on the inside (see photo), nothing was done about that. It wasn't until I was paying that a man with small black glasses (presumably the owner) came up to me and gave me the advice to "indicate next time if you want the pork tenderloin well done." this restaurant served raw meat... Service did not ask for this either/mentioned when recording that this was an option. We left with a final bill of 86 euros (without desert) and a strange feeling. Unfortunately, what was supposed to be a fun night out turns very bitter this way. I won't be coming back here again and I also recommend not going here again unless you remember to indicate that "you want everything well done".
