It takes so long for them to come and get the order. Poor service.

Unfriendly establishment; my husband and I thought we'd be enjoying a drink and a nice time on the patio. When I asked if I could have tap water with my wine, the woman told me the owner wouldn't allow it. Besides being stupid (the more water, the more wine I drink), it was also very unfriendly. So we'll just go back to the establishments we know that don't shy away from a carafe of tap water.

A beautiful spot on the IJssel River where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Especially with the sun on the terrace, it's an excellent brasserie.

This is the third time I've been here and it's been cancelled. Tuesday; the weather was nice, I went for lunch with a group, but they don't serve that on Tuesdays, no chef. Another time, they said, "Sorry, you can't eat here, we only serve drinks now." In the summer! Last time, you want a drink? Oh, you can still have 20 minutes because a large group is coming. Unfortunately... it's a shame, because the location is great.

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. There was a young woman who seemed a bit unenthusiastic and curt, but otherwise, nothing to complain about. The food looked good and tasted great.

We had a wonderful three-course dinner here! The sushi was delicious and fresh, the main courses were also delicious and of good quality, and the desserts were a perfect ending. The Pistachio Affogato is highly recommended! The service was fast and very friendly. I would definitely return!

Misleading menu, dishonest service, zero accountability. We came after training and clearly asked the waiter if the spekburger included a beef patty — he said yes, so we ordered. What arrived was just pork belly. We raised it calmly, but the manager doubled down, claiming the menu was “clear” and it was our misunderstanding — despite the waiter’s confirmation. The manager’s attitude was arrogant and dismissive. I felt second-hand shame in front of my friends whom I've invited to the place. Worse, he showed no interest in fixing it or treating us with basic respect. No apology, no correction — just deflection. The burger itself was bad. Half of it was pure fat. If you’re fine paying for something you didn’t order and being treated like the problem, go ahead.

The most delicious Croque L'Oeuf!! The sushi is also delicious. The terrace has a fantastic view. In the summer, it's my favorite spot for a Sunday afternoon. The team is fantastic.

Nice place on the water. Mint tea and cappuccino are fine, but we think 4.50 for this piece of apple pie is out of bounds. Super small point and without crust. Too bad because you look beautiful there. But according to ministry, we are the only ones who think anything of it. They sell four boxes a day.

Unfortunately, staff without any kind of friendliness, know-how, empathy or communication skills. That takes away from the beautiful location. Wish them the best of luck if they have to start the season with this.

Gnome cycled🚲🚲with Kwebbel on a windy sunny day from Rotterdam via the IJssel to Gouda and unharnessed our horses at this establishment for a snack.😋👍 on the terrace, voices of guests sounded inside and Kabouters decided to sit outside on the terrace in the schale sun with a beautiful view of the IJssel.👀👍 Meanwhile, a young man asked what Gnomes wanted for a snack. Kwebbel asked for a glass of white wine🍸 and for Kabouter a white beer🍺 and about 8 bitterballen (for the regular😋 test)🤣. After a moment the young man returned with the liquid refreshments. When Kwebbel asked why there was so little wine in the glass or why the young man had spilled it?🤷‍♂️🙄) the answer was that it was "normal" in pouring. Well, 2 sips weren't in the glass. The glass was also not "customer friendly" and did not invite a second one and certainly not for the price. On the other hand, the white beer 🍺👍 had a very good taste and was different from normal Weizzen beer. The 8 bitterballen were really nice and warm, well filled, accompanied by good tasting mustard and delicious on the terrace.😋👌👍 Next time I cycle past 🚲🚲 this is definitely a good stop, with a mention of a "double" amount of moisture in the wine glass.🙏👍. Prices were reasonable, but the glass of wine was less pleasant in comparison. All in all positive. Just remember. And so the Gnomes got back on their horses🚲🚲

Nice brasserie at a nice padel venue. I like to come there to play a game of padel. There are 10 padel courts and many tennis courts. You can also go there for a nice drink or something to eat. The interior is modern and attractively decorated. Outside there is a terrace where you can sit and there is also a sandbox for the kids. There is ample parking and it is also easily accessible by bicycle.

Delicious brunch, everything perfectly taken care of.

I have played several times with friends at padel club L'Oeuf and it is always a fantastic experience. The courses are of excellent quality and the atmosphere is always pleasant. What really makes this club special is the friendly and hospitable staff. They make you feel welcome immediately. When we were one of the last to leave recently, a young man asked if we had enjoyed ourselves. This kind of attention to detail makes me want to come back again and again. L'Oeuf is without a doubt a top club for every padel lover.

Excellent lunch for a reasonable price. Location is a bit hidden, but with a beautiful view of the IJssel. Service could pay a little more attention to the guests.

It can happen sometimes, the toilet is not so clean, but to my surprise I read this more often in the reviews. It's a shame that no attention is paid to this. No fresh appearance today either, there was not even any toilet paper. Sloppy …. It wasn't that busy around lunchtime.

Went again almost a year later. Remains a cozy tent with nice service. Nice dishes to share. Good quality. It's special that there are so few people. We think it should be full here on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Really recommended in terms of price/quality. After a long day of work, we thought we would have something to eat quickly in a restaurant that we considered a 'snack bar plus' (next to the tennis court). That was a huge windfall. Nice tapas-style menu with various dishes to share. Fish, meat, vegetarian, snacks, fries. Everything was correct and tasteful. Management did their best to please us. In our opinion, a nice place to regularly relax with a beautiful terrace on the water.

Worthless is the only correct answer.

Tonight we had a very nice meal at L'Oeuf. Nice that you can order multiple small portions. Very tasty and cozy. Friendly and attentive staff.

The coffee was delicious, as was the apple pie, but it would have been even nicer if the toilets were fresh and clean. So it was my first and last time at l Oeuf

Gister was ik met mijn familie hier wezen eten. Het eten was erg lekker en goede porties. Helaas was het enorm rustig (er was 1 andere tafel bezet) en dit hadden wij niet verwacht op een vrijdag avond. Het eten was ook erg leuk opgemaakt !

Eten was lekker (vooral de powke bowl) alleen jammer dat je er weinig van krijgt op je schotel. Voor de rest erg lekker

Anderhalf naar hier gegeten, dat was echt super. Vandaag was er een ander menu, bites to share. Hele kleine gerechtjes, prijzig, en niet bijzonder. We waren echt teleurgesteld. Menu kaart die je op Google ziet is de oude. Toevallig was er ook een bedrijfs feest in het restaurant, kon mezelf niet horen nadenken zoveel herrie.

Ik had vandaag een high tea met een groep. Ondanks dat het 31 graden was mochten wij niet water ipv thee. We moesten flessen water kopen. Het eten vond ik weinig en wat tegenvallen. Geen verse koekjes of gebakjes. Deels gefrituurde dingen. Ik kom hier voor een high tea nooit meer terug.

Away from the crowded place, this place is a gem. Located next to the water, the view and vibe is very nice. They could have exploited it more and make it “ibiza beach club” but I somehow glad they didnt. A simple place to grab small bites (the dragon sushi tastes very good, gyoza is crunchy, and the beef teriyaki is superb) and/ or cold (alcohol) drink during the hot days.

Op een wat minder mooie woensdag met het gezin (4 personen, waaronder 2 kinderen van 11 en 14 jaar) naar deze Brasserie geweest om een verjaardag te vieren. Er zijn bij ons in de regio maar weinig restaurants die wij de moeite van het bezoeken waard vinden, maar de reviews en foto's beloofde in dit geval veel goeds. Restaurant is gelegen op een mooie en rustige locatie, aan de IJssel. Interieur is netjes verzorgd, prima stoelen, en gezellige tafels. Ontvangst was wat rommelig, moesten zeker een paar minuten wachten, en kregen toen de boodschap "zoek zelf maar een plek". (We hadden gereserveerd). Dit kan beter. Bediening was vlot en duidelijk. Een aantal "standaard" drankjes zoals Cassis waren niet verkrijgbaar. Voor ons de eerste keer shared dinner. We bestelden ieder een gerecht. Er werd goed rekening gehouden met speciale wensen (saus apart). Het eten werd vlot geserveerd. De kipspiesjes waren heel erg goed. Goed gaar, maar lekker mals en niet te zout. Beef Tataki bleek een koud gerecht, maar erg lekker van smaak, en perfect bereid. Gamba's waren prima, maar hadden misschien nog iets langer kunnen garen. Kibbeling was erg lekker, met een goed krokant korstje en lekkere saus. De burger was lekker, maar niet heel bijzonder. De tweede ronde bestelde we nog voordat de eerste ronde helemaal klaar was, en werd daardoor mooi op tijd geserveerd. De gehaktballetjes hadden we met saus apart gevraagd, maar werd toch in de saus geserveerd. Hiervoor werd keurig excuses aangeboden, en we hebben er verder geen punt van gemaakt. Kalfsmuis was een smaaksensatie, en mooi opgemaakt! Frietjes waren helemaal goed, en een perfecte portie. De side salad heel apart, met veel groente, maar super fris van smaak. Chicken Gyoza was optisch een pareltje. Bijzondere smaak, en erg lekker. Als dessert hebben we nog een koffie en brownie genomen. Beide aanraders! Alles is opgegaan, en we zaten goed vol. We hebben hier 2 uur doorgebracht. (van 18:00 tot 20:00) In totaal hebben we ca. €125,- afgerekend. Het restaurant is "onderdeel" van de tennisvereniging, en omdat het deze avond qua restaurantgasten extreem rustig was, gaf dit soms wat storende momenten. Het past niet echt bij het niveau van de gerechten. De vele tennissers gebruiken het restaurant als een soort clubhuis. Als het in het restaurant wat drukker is, of je op het terras zit, zal je hier geen hinder van ondervinden. Het is wel mooi dat er direct naast het restaurant gratis ruim parkeergelegenheid is. We komen zeker nog eens terug!

Prachtige locatie maar dat is het ook. Eten niet slecht maar geen hoogstandjes. Bediening slecht. Erg traag. Helemaal niet druk maar stonden meer binnen te kletsen als dat ze de klanten bedienden. Gevolg? Men haalde zelf de menukaart. Ging maar zelf bestellen binnen en afrekenen deed men ook zelf. En dat terwijl het absoluut niet druk was. (Binnen waren geen klanten.) Jammer want de locatie is prachtig aan de IJssel.

Leuk restaurant met mooi uitzicht, vooral op het terras, goede bediening. Heerlijk geborreld en gedineerd voor meer dan 4 uur gezeten. De bediening was snel, attent en vriendelijk. Ook op het terras was het erg lekker zitten, uit de wind in de zon.

Heerlijke lunch in restaurants bij het 🎾 tennispark met uitzicht op het water

Heerlijk gegeten. De keuze tussen het terras, met schitterend uitzicht over de Hollandse IJssel, en binnen was lastig. Daarom een drankje gedaan op het terras en binnen gegeten. (De zon ging onder en het werdt iets te fris). Het concept lijkt een beetje op Tapas en Sushi maar dan met grotere gerechten die makkelijk te delen zijn met jouw gezelschap. Geadviseerd wordt om 2 gerechten op te bestellen maar wij hadden genoeg aan 1 pp (we zijn geen grote eters😊) De nagerechten zijn rijkelijk en heerlijk. Al met al is het zeker aan te raden om een keer te gaan eten bij L'lOeuf.

Lekker gelopen en dan een drankje. Gezellig aan het water en de Rosé smaakte lekker. Zeker een gelegenheid om ook het dinner te gebruiken. Heel gezellig

Als ondernemer wil je wel eens buiten de deur werken. Brasserie L'Oeuf is een nieuwe werkplek die ik ontdekt heb. Heerlijk ruim, goeie koffie, lekker eten en goeie muziek. Voor mij, als iemand die ook even op zijn laptop wil werken, hebben een fijne nis. De ligging van de zaak is mooi zo langs de IJssel. Vriendelijk personeel en een plek waar ik geregeld terug ga komen om even mijn laptop open te slaan.

Het eten was erg vers en naar mijn gevoel ook gezond. Heel smakelijk opgediend en verrassend. Voor de lunch met 4 personen was het wel prijzig, wij hadden ook een nagerecht erbij wat ook heerlijk was.
