Not what it used to be (in the days of Hart van Zuid). It is being continued now, but without any real passion for hospitality. At least, that is how it feels as a guest. Little service, little warmth, etc. Good coffee, though.

After grocery shopping, just grabbing a nice cup of coffee. Being able to decide for yourself how strong you want the coffee, with the small pitcher of hot water. Combined with a delicious piece of apple pie.

A lovely spot to sit down for a delicious coffee and a chat or read the newspaper; there is always a pleasant atmosphere in this cozy "living room"—you feel welcome here. Homemade treats to go with the coffee, plenty of choice for lunch, and if you have any special requests, they can always be accommodated. In short, TOP!

I come here very regularly, sometimes with my husband and children, sometimes alone; it is always good and pleasant. Tasty food, friendly staff, nice chat, relaxed atmosphere. Simply top-notch!

The price-to-value ratio has deteriorated significantly over the past few years (since it changed ownership). Where you used to get a lot, you now get shamefully little for your money. We will not be coming back.

Lovely sunny terrace with a nice owner!

This morning, I wanted to enjoy breakfast with my son. Unfortunately, the eggs Benedict with smoked salmon turned out to be a major disappointment. I have eaten eggs Benedict in many different locations and therefore know very well how this dish is supposed to be. The poached eggs were clearly of pre-packaged quality. When cutting into them, the yolk shot out of the egg with such force that my trousers, shirt, and even the chair got covered in it. Despite the many times I have eaten this dish, this has never happened to me before. That speaks volumes about the quality and preparation. The smoked salmon also absolutely did not meet expectations. The fish had a dull, dried-out appearance instead of the fresh, glossy color you would expect from high-quality smoked salmon. It gave the impression that the salmon had been thawed carelessly or had been sitting for quite some time. A classic dish like eggs Benedict calls for careful preparation and fresh ingredients. When a kitchen is incapable of doing so, it is better to remove the dish from the menu than to serve guests a product of this quality. My experience was downright disappointing and bears no relation to what one should expect from this dish.

What a lovely spot to grab a coffee. Very homey and cozy. Maneuvering inside with a wheelchair is a bit tricky, but we managed it. Delicious coffee and tasty pastries. Definitely worth trying for lunch and dinner.

Good value for money. Quiet place.

The price-to-food ratio isn't right. We paid a lot for very little. A croquette sandwich with a thin slice of bread cost 11 euros. I thought this was a huge waste of money. It was also very warm inside, and the floor was incredibly scratchy. I had a much better experience with this place in previous years. Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill now :(

Went to lunch this afternoon with my husband and son, but what a disgrace! When we came in, we weren't even greeted (a woman with shoulder-length, wavy hair, a bit older). It wasn't a matter of not seeing us, because she was cleaning "our" table. My husband had ordered a juice for €4.40 (!), which was poured into a champagne flute. Three sips and it was gone, and for that price, I found it absurd. My son had ordered a coffee, and it arrived as an espresso with a pot of hot water next to it so he could pour it over it (never seen that before). When this place was in the heart of Zuid, the quality was much better! I'm perfectly fine with companies wanting to make money, but only in an honest way. I'm happy to spend my money with you, but now I felt like I was being ripped off. No, they won't see me/us here anymore! And indeed, the bread wasn't fresh either, and the cheese was dried out. What a waste of our money, almost 40 euros for a meager lunch!

My review isn't about the food, but about the service provided by your employee. When I politely asked if I could pay, an older female employee with wavy hair made a derogatory remark: "I hope you can pay?" As if I couldn't. If I couldn't afford it, I wouldn't go out for a drink. Then a colleague laughed and said something like, "Don't be like that." So this employee probably makes comments like that often. It's bizarre that an adult employee would speak like that to a paying customer. I definitely won't be returning to a place like that.

Very bad, and I don't say that often. The chai latte tasted bland, and the pesto panini from a jar was like a tomato with no flavor. Not worth the money. We'll skip this place next time.

This is a great place for lunch/brunch/dinner. They're super friendly and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended!

Maybe they should change the menu

The terrace is a wonderful place to sit in the sun. The service is fantastic, and the food and drinks are delicious!

We had a delicious lunch, including a brasserie at 12 o'clock. In a word, delicious, and the people were super friendly, and the salmon sandwich was very generously filled, which is sometimes the case at many brasseries.

What excellent service! Not to encourage everyone to change their children here. But since we had a minor emergency, we were able to get in fantastically. What a warm welcome in this situation, compliments!

We happened to walk past here prior to our theater evening (Judith Agaath) in Odeon. Had a nice meal with the family before the theater visit. We had chicken satay with McCain Crispers and a salad. Then we went back to the car at Q-park Maagjesbolwerk. And walked towards the Odeon to enjoy the performance of Agaath.

I recently visited this establishment on a hot day and was disappointed to receive a warm orange juice instead of a cold one, despite requesting ice. The service was poor and the staff member's attitude came across as arrogant and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

This is another Dutch catering experience. Dull staff and price/quality ratio below par. The coffee came with a jug of water and was not very tasty, the tuna salad sandwich was soggy with tasteless tomatoes. It was stuffy inside.

Heel Slecht! Heel arrogante bedienste die me Heel arrogant aankeek. Je word niet altijd bediend als je zomaar komt zitten dat wou ik vragen voor de zekerheid. Kreeg een warme orange juice op een warme dag. Ze heeft lef om ook Heel kleine ijs klontjes toen ik ging vragen. NOOIT meer.

The price-quality ratio has deteriorated dramatically here. Went for brunch today with my wife. She had a sandwich with "homemade" tuna salad and I had a carpaccio sandwich. First of all, the "fresh" bread was anything but fresh, but old and tough. And as rich as my wife's sandwich was, mine was just as sparse, and that for the price of 9 euros. And when asked if I liked it and mentioned these points, the response was "ohhh" and that was it. This really was the last time for us.

We wanted to have lunch here with a friend with our babies. Ordered drinks and were told in between that the table was reserved for an hour and a half. Well, at that time we thought we could eat a sandwich. Unfortunately I couldn't order ANYTHING in an hour and a half. While people around us were helped. No one came to record anything with us. And then we were asked to leave because the people from the reservation were there. We didn't feel welcome at all!

Kwamen om te lunchen. Ik bestel vast een drankje, vriendin komt iets later en besteld ook. Na kwartier de mededeling dat onze tafel nu wordt gereserveerd voor over 1.5u terwijl er genoeg andere tafels leeg waren. Prima.. wij wachten wachten wachten. Geen drank en lunch aangeboden. Wel een vreselijk chagrijnige vrouw die anderen bediend. 10 minuten voor onze tijd verstreken zou worden worden we weggejaagd. Letterlijk. Ik geef nog aan dat we niks hebben gedronken of gegeten maar mevrouw loopt zo weg! Zit je dan als 2 net nieuwe moeders zonder eten of drinken. Lekker klantvriendelijk *not* !!!

We hebben altijd heel erg genoten van deze plek in het winkelcentrum van Zwolle zuid. Maar nu de eigenaar (tijdelijk, hopelijk) geëmigreerd zijn is de sfeer echt niet meer wat het was. Het huiskamer gevoel doet nu meer denken aan de ongemakkelijke kerstdagen met je nare schoonfamilie. Jammer. Dat komt alleen door de vrouw (middelbare leeftijd) die nu de tent lijkt te runnen. Onvriendelijk en kortaf. Jammer jammer. Eten blijft overigens wel lekker.

We had booked a table for three. Arrived on site there was no table, slow service. Normal dishes, nothing exceptional.

My wife and I took her mother to lunch for her 91st birthday. We really enjoyed the lunch and the friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Not a nice presentation, just dumped on a plate. Tastes reasonable/good. The staff themselves were very noisy, sitting on the terrace, smoking and playing with their mobile phones about their walking adventures from the past weekend. This also made it difficult to get the attention to order something or to pay...! Moreover, we did not like sitting in the cigarette smoke of the staff.

To start we took a seat on the terrace. After fifteen minutes we were able to place our order, which was delivered after another fifteen minutes of waiting. This was not the order we placed. After we placed the order again, it was delivered after ten minutes. After twenty minutes I asked where our sandwiches that we ordered with the drinks were. I was then told that these had not been entered and did not happen to the kitchen. The excuse used was that the crowds overwhelmed them and two young people were working.

The cappuccino was as it should be for me, hot and with a nice firm foam head, presented by a cheerful and cheerful lady who had a kind word for everyone. There is a new menu that looks original, namely a school notebook. Lunch was also delicious with bread from Every Day Bread. A thing to come back to.

Today we had lunch for the first time with a friend at Brasserie Zuid. What a cozy atmosphere (living room feeling), the owners are a super cheerful couple, you can eat very well there, there is more than enough choice and all for a very fair price!!! Eating a 3-course menu with my daughters at Zuid next time is on the agenda!
