We weren't greeted kindly upon arrival. The employee couldn't smile. We walked to our table, but there was only one cat in the cafe, and it was sleeping. You're not allowed to pet sleeping cats here. So I wouldn't call this a "cat cafe." I've been to several cat cafes with plenty of cats and less strict rules. We got up and left. We won't be going back.

A small, lovely café with incredibly friendly staff. The sandwiches are delicious, and I highly recommend them. Absolutely worth a visit! And the cats are very cuddly.

I had a wonderful time at this cat café! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the cats — all rescues — were clearly well cared for and comfortable. It was such a joy to spend time with them. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the well-being of the animals. One thing I really appreciated was the calm and respectful environment created for both visitors and cats. You can tell a lot of thought and love went into creating this space. That said, I was a bit disappointed to see that there were hardly any vegan food options on the menu. Given that the café is built around the idea of caring for rescued animals, I believe it would be a natural and compassionate step to also consider the impact of the food being served — and to offer more cruelty-free, plant-based options. Supporting rescued animals shouldn't stop at just cats; it’s important to think about how our choices affect all animals. Still, I truly enjoyed my visit and hope to come back — and hopefully next time there will be a few more vegan treats to choose from! 🫶🏻🐇

The Wisselgebak is the best pastry I've eaten in Zwolle. Especially the Redvelvet and the lemon meringue are really heavenly ❤️!! I could eat a piece of that every day, wow. The atmosphere inside is also very warm, like you're visiting your grandma 😄 The activities of the cats are very variable, so don't expect to have a cat around you every time.

It is a cozy cafe with a lot of cat-themed items on the menu, i liked that they have a small shop with cat-themed products as well. The employees were nice.

Very nice place to have a cake! The staff is super friendly and the interior is great 💞 With the cats you have to be lucky that they are active, because they remain cats. Too bad the lunch menu is very small, but the sandwiches look super nice. The highlight for me was really the changing cake that they have in the display case, the meringue lemon cake is so delicious!! 🥰🎀 P.s I recommend making a reservation in advance

I love coming here. Of course also for the cats, but the food here is also really good. Especially the carpaccio sandwich is really recommended. They also have delicious coffee here, and the matcha here is also really fantastic. The staff is also always super nice. 100% my favorite lunch spot in Zwolle ❤️

Had a great tea in the cat cafe. Pussies were very relaxed and were lying wonderfully. Lots of baskets and sleeping places higher up so that they can also retreat. A nice experience.

We were there without an appointment and unfortunately all the tables were already occupied. We made an appointment with the friendly owner at the counter and were given a comfortable table an hour later. The atmosphere in the café was very pleasant and the presence of the playful cats made it very special. Our 8 year old daughter was delighted with the 5 cats and was able to play with and pet them. The café is very lovingly decorated. It's all about the cat theme and the wallpaper, decoration, food include all these little details. There are even cat-themed games you can play at the table. The drinks were very tasty and beautifully presented. For anyone who likes cats, this beautiful café is a must! We would definitely like to come back ❤️

I say this as a child: I came from Raalte for this cafe, and we were a bit early They told us to come in 15 minutes, we waited and waited and then it was 12 o'clock (opening time) and after 15 minutes we went there and only then did they ask us: have you reserved tables? and we said no, actually not and they said sorry but some are coming in 10 minutes so sorry you can't stay and we said we were only going to look at the cats but that's not allowed and we waited in the cold so a tip don't go without a reservation 😭

Short visit for lunch. No cats around, they were all sleeping soundly. I choose a Katpaccio sandwich. The proportions are a bit off. Too much lettuce, dry bread on top, and a bit too little pesto mayonnaise to make it juicy. Detail: the skewer and bread are also in your theme (as is the toilet). We choose a nice gift for the café. There is a QR code on the card.

We discovered this place thank to a friend of us from Zwolle and totally liked it! The cats are so adorable and waitresses were very kind. This cat coffee serve a lot of nice things and is very well decorated! I would recommend you to go there a soon as you can ❤️

There is an employee who monitors the well-being of the cats. The interior is very cozy and there are many places for the cats to sit, climb and scratch. I had mint tea and carrot cake, always delicious.

I thought this was a super nice and cozy cat cafe! The animals are lounging and the space is spacious and nicely decorated. I really liked that the fellow guests were chatting instead of being completely silent. Food was also tasty (but simple), the coffee was great. Definitely recommended for cat lovers :)

Wij waren hier voor een lunch. Je zit hier letterlijk tussen de katten. Er lopen er, dacht ik, zo'n vijf katten rond. Alle gerechten die je kunt bestellen hebben te maken met een kat, zoals bv: sandwich katpachio, sandwich kipurrr. Verder zie je alles wat met katten te maken heeft: kattenbehang, kattenklok, heel veel kattenbeeldjes, een kattenklok en nog veel meer. Je kunt hier ook van alles kopen wat met katten te maken heeft. Het personeel is superaardig. En niet onbelangrijk: het eten was ook lekker!

For cat lovers, this is a fantastic place for lunch or high tea. There are 5 cats walking around and the location has also been adapted for these animals. The theme of cats is reflected everywhere, down to the bread. Highly recommended for cat lovers.

Welcoming environment, well furnished and all kitty-friendly. There are 5 of them that make the place a little paradise for lovers of these cute furry little ones. The staff is courteous and helpful. The products offered are very good. Even though these 5 little cougars are around, the living room only smells of sweets. I advise! It's like having coffee with pastries in your aunt's living room. Highly recommended!

Naar de katten kijken is echt een genot, je valt er bijna van in slaap (activiteit die ook de kat graag doet). De dieren worden goed verzorgd en laten zich makkelijk aaien. Ook het horecagedeelte is dik in orde : wij genoten hier van heerlijk gebak en een deugddoende kop thee.

Just a super fun concept here. Kitchen is neatly screened off and the cats are well cared for, they have their own spaces at a height so that no one can reach them. When you enter, the rules are also clearly explained. And the coffee and brownie were great too!

Very cozy place with nice cat things everywhere. We played a game there while enjoying a delicious drink. I understand that the employees want to take good care of the cats and that the rules are there. But if I'm reprimanded because a cat closes its eyes while I'm stroking it, that's a bit irritating.

Very nice experience, very nice employees speaking also English and German. Food is good, atmosmere is cozy and romantic. Cats are wonderful, clean and well behaved. Toilet is available and is sparky clean. And one of the important thing: no smell whatsoever meaning the owners and employees are doing a great job. Keep it up ladies, we love you! Nice. With cats in a restaurant. Was on my son's bucket list. So we went inside. Sweet soft cats. Stubborn. Sleeping when he comes in. Because then they are left alone. But once they are less busy, the cats are awake and you can cuddle with them. Once more. Nice experience.

We came for the cats and didn't see a cat... very disappointing. If you start a cat cafe, make sure you have affectionate cats. Otherwise I'd rather go to a regular cafe. The prices are also super high, which is made up for with a lot of cuddling but without really being out of balance. We won't come again

Ended up here by chance. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was ok. Cats were all asleep. I was disappointed with the ice tea and the brownie. For the price, I would have expected a homemade ice tea and not a 250ml bottle that is simply left unopened next to the glass.
