Top restaurant! Heerlijk gegeten op valentijnsdag. Alles was leuk versierd en de sfeer was geweldig. De service was ook heel goed, en het eten en drinken werd erg snel geserveerd. De eigenaar Bas is een top vent, erg klantvriendelijk en een goeie gastheer. Het was heel erg gezellig, mede door bas!!! Groetjes

Everything to great satisfaction.

We have been coming to lookkies for years and it is always a party. The Sunday brunches are also really fun and I enjoyed the Valentine's dinner with my husband. The entire team is also super hospitable, including the owners. If you are in the area, I really recommend lookkies. The location is also great on the beach of Nesselande.

Had a delicious high tea yesterday. We were 4 adults and 2 children aged 12 years. Delicious sandwiches and sweets. Because we were still hungry for the delicious wraps with carpaccio and the small foccacia with tuna salad, we ordered these extra. We received the tuna foccacia for free from the chef! Super nice and very tasty! Sweet service and the place is very nicely decorated for Christmas.

I recently had dinner with friends during the holidays at Brasserie Lookies's in Rotterdam Nesselande, and what an atmospheric Christmas experience that was! The restaurant was beautifully decorated in a Christmas atmosphere: twinkling lights, warm decorations and a cozy, festive atmosphere. It made the winter evening extra special. Of course, Lookies's is not just about the decoration, but also about the fantastic food. The famous spare ribs are still unsurpassed: buttery soft, richly marinated and with a deep, wintery flavor that matched the time of year perfectly. It is as if the spareribs have been prepared with as much attention as the interior has been decorated. The service is fantastic as always. Bianca is incredibly friendly, attentive and quick. Even during the busy holidays, she knows how to welcome everyone warmly, with a sincere smile and a pleasant chat. The owners, Jan and Sebastiaan, can regularly be seen on the floor. Their enthusiasm and involvement make you feel as if you have been invited to their home for a festive dinner. In short, Brasserie Lookies's not only offers delicious dishes, but also a warm, hospitable Christmas atmosphere in which you feel completely at ease. If you are looking for a place to get together in December for a tasty, festive and fun dinner, then Lookies's in Rotterdam Nesselande is definitely recommended!

4-12-2024 Ate for the first time with 2 people at Brasserie Lookies. The food, Tournedos with blue cheese sauce and the Haassa satay as a main course, were super tasty. But the bread with spread and the dessert beforehand were also delicious. Friendly service. We will definitely come back!

Great place! Food was awesome! The service made it what it was! Funny and friendly people!

There were 3 of us, the blonde girl who was working was so cheeky!! There's nothing we can do about being so done with work. We waited so long to pay for food and when we asked where the menu was it felt so strange. And they don't even look at us, she just throws the menu on the table and goes on for half an hour. Fortunately, the cook came later and we were happy. But it's a shame that the staff spoils the whole atmosphere.

Review of Lookies - Boulevard Nesselande Lookies is a cozy place on the boulevard of Nesselande, ideal to stop for a snack and a drink. On a sunny day it is often busy, but there is still a relaxed atmosphere. The range of snacks is excellent, with enough choice for a quick bite. They also offer a varied range of drinks including beer. In terms of price level, Lookies is somewhere in the middle: it is not dirt cheap, but certainly not too pricey either. In the evening the atmosphere changes more to a pub-like setting, which makes it a nice place to have a drink. All in all a nice place for both day and evening!

Went to Lookies today to celebrate my sister's baby shower with 13 people. Lookies has a nice appearance/interior and a beautiful location. The staff were friendly and helpful. A bit of decoration was no problem and they were helpful with this too. The high tea was well prepared, delicious and for this price! My sister's food and pregnancy were taken into account without any questions. All in all, we had a great experience at Lookies! Definitely recommended and we will definitely go again.

We just did a High Wine and it was really fantastic, beautiful and tasty snacks and tasty wines. Definitely worth it 👌

Geweldige locatie, hartelijk welkom geheten,heerlijk geheten met verrassend voorgerecht en superlekker hoofdgerecht en gevarieerd nagerecht ,echt alle lof voor de kok in de keuken en de vriendelijke attente bediening ,we komen zeker weer hier terug ,het was mijn verjaarsfeestje met vuurwerk en verjaardag muziek erbij ,wat een verrassing!!

we are at camper place saintes maries de la mar, 15 euros per day no electricity, you can empty the toilet and change the water, but unfortunately it is used by guests to shower with the water, they even get shampoo and shower stuff. It is not drinking water, so it seems dirty to me to wash your hair, etc. I will leave again tomorrow.

The food is very tasty, but the service could be better. They are extremely friendly, but they don't pay much attention to you when it comes to empty glasses or bringing a menu. Otherwise a nice tent!

Food was very good and I had a great time

The taste of the food is good (portions are a bit lopsided here and there), but what a grumpy and nasty attitude from the staff. They prefer not to help you, find you difficult when you want to ask something (feel free to let you wait 10 minutes to mess around with some chairs and tables), give an answer with their nose up and then respond sarcastically even when you indicate something . 1 of the younger ladies was still friendly, the rest... If you want to feel unwanted, come in here.

The waiter was so impolite. We understand, we have to wait to be seated (eventhough the place was empty). The owner asking us to proceed inside. But when we are going to take the seat this waiter (short hair woman look like man) cynically saying can't you read that you have to wait to be seated? Bye!! We went somehere else.

Food was okay but place where i was sitting was super close to plant oleandar which is highly toxic plant. One leaf can kill an adult. I touched plant by accident since it’s very close to seat ( like just behind you) and I have really bad toxic rash from it. Place where i touched the plant is fully swollen and very red. I will wait till tomorrow otherwise I will go to emergency room. I really liked the place but due to safety of other guests you will have I think it’s smart idea to cut the plant or put other one since this one is very dangerous.

Food: more expensive, but good. Drink: ridiculous, €5.90!! for 25 cl Birra Moretti or Amstel Rosé (prices not mentioned on the menu)! Service: one of the two clerks nice, otherwise; food was taken fairly late, cutlery had to be picked up after it was placed on the end of the table for all diners, and plates and glasses were collected (too) late. One of the employees' face seemed to turn stormy when no tip was given (perhaps your boss can withhold some of the overpriced drinks for you).

Positief: eten was goed, netjes opgemaakt en smaak is prima. Prijs in verhouding wel aan de hoge kant. Negatief: Ze hebben een mooie bierkaart maar helaas zonder prijzen (Volgens info op internet verplicht om prijzen te vermelden, begrijp achteraf waarom) dan neem je voor de veiligheid een normaal tap biertje of gewoon een amstel Rose en daar mag je dan nog bijna 6 euro ( 5,90) per glas voor betalen. Zo hoog nog niet meegemaakt voor een eenvoudige horeca gelegenheid.

Hele slechte service en onbeleefd personeel. Kwamen daar aan en gingen op een leuk plekje in de zon zitten. Naast ons aan een soortgelijke tafel zaten twee heren met een hondje. Wij waren met z’n 3’en en namen plaats. Toen personeel ons wegstuurde van die plek. We mochten er niet zitten omdat het een plek voor 5 zou zijn en gereserveerd. De heren zouden volgens haar op andere aan het wachten zijn, vandaar dat ze daar met z’n 2en mochten zitten. De heren zelf gaven aan daar op niemand anders te wachten, dat ze alleen met z’n tweeën waren. Personeel hiermee geconfronteerd en als reactie begon ze te schreeuwen en zeggen dat we onze drankjes moesten afrekenen en weggaan. De reden hiervoor omdat zij bepaald waar mensen gaan zitten en daarvoor tegen ons had gelogen. Ze ging zelfs zo ver de beveiliging erbij te halen omdat we niet per direct weg gingen, terwijl wij onze drankjes net hadden besteld. Hele bijzondere en slechte ervaring. Deze persoon heeft waarschijnlijk mentale problemen.

Delicious food on the cozy terrace of Brasserie Lookies. We were lucky because it was wonderfully sunny until late. Friendly service. Plates neatly laid out. We think the fries could have been fried a little further and preferably not with herbs. We thought the salad had too much sauce, but that's all a matter of taste. We know for next time. To be repeated.

Last night me and my boyfriend wanted to have a drink with our friends at Lookies. We were 8 people, we walked to the entrance without taking one step inside, a small man with a beer belly came and said that they were closed, but we saw the whole tent full of people :/ I think this is racist behavior, the owner did not want to welcome us because I have foreign friends, that was clearly visible. We will never come here again!!

The older man walking around there (probably the owner) does not seem very sympathetic. Service slow, 1st drink came quickly, but after that they didn't ask if you wanted anything else.

Delicious food, but €6.20 for a glass of wine and something like €16 for 6 people with bread and spread beforehand is seriously unacceptable to me. And I think it's a shame that you also have to pay a lot for (tap?) water, which I don't know how much.

Celebrated my party with 13 colleagues. The food was delicious! The service is fantastic and the atmosphere is great. We will definitely celebrate here more often.

Gister hier gegeten.. Bediening moet je aanspreken om te kunnen bestellen. Eten was oke, smaak was prima..alleen prijsverhouding klopte TOTAAL niet. Wij hadden 2 ossenhaasjes besteld, je kreeg er een frutje boontjes en een beetje saus bij.. en dan.. t patat, even serieus. Een handje vol patatjes, in een klein bakje voor 2 volwassen? Voor die prijs verwacht je wel meer. Vraag je of dit alle patat is, krijg je het antwoord: dit is een 2 persoons portie, als je meer wilt kun je dat erbij bestellen.( dus extra betalen) Heftig hoor, Hier nooit meer houdoe

Like the photo below, we expect the (€24.80 PP) high tea. Now it wasn't like that at all, it was mini. 2 pieces of wraps per person, 1 scoop of tuna mini sandwich, mini quiche, mini croissant and many sweet minis. Not worth it.

Went there for a drink after a walk

Very friendly service, attractive atmosphere and view over the lake. The food was sublime, and there is free parking under the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Fairly cold in the place. Ski hut music was very loud. The food and drinks are too expensive for what is offered. Even considering the current costs. One staff member didn't make us feel very welcome, and kept that attitude up for the entire shift. However, there were also staff members who understood their profession better. Exceptions regarding allergies are clearly communicated. The kitchen has still added the allergens to the product, but they are not immediately visible. This is not okay! The tap water is priced ridiculously high. For that kind of money, a branded bottle should be on the table. The food was mediocre, but not completely disappointing. Unfortunately we got almost no vegetables, but plenty of fries. Dessert could have been fresher, ice cream brand was fine, but priced quite high. The toilets were okay. Clean, normal toilet paper, enough privacy. Investments have been made in the design of the café-restaurant. The drying installation is on the tap (so it is simply present), unfortunately this, in combination with the type of sink, caused a lot of splashing. Soap was not provided. Due to the price-quality and the unwelcome feeling, I would not return to eat here. It is probably doable for a drink on the terrace.

Man man, I thought I would go out for dinner with my girlfriend……. First of all, we were received nicely and were allowed to find a spot on the terrace. Then my girlfriend ordered a Mojito, but unfortunately it wasn't there. Of course that can happen. She then ordered a … on the Beach, which unfortunately looked like a multivitamin, but the taste was good. We then ordered food, a chicken burger and chicken satay (with fries, raw vegetables and potato salad). First the lady came with one plate of fries and raw vegetables, we thought that was strange and asked for another plate. First of all we had to order that, but of course that was not possible for us. We then got a second plate… potato salad was also gone The raw food tasted spoiled and my girlfriend politely reported this to the waiter. Then her colleague took over and her reaction was abnormal. She was dismissed as a “liar”, because of course they make everything fresh. I then went inside and spoke to her about her behavior. She then felt it necessary to create sensation and shout across the place that I should not touch her (my hand was indeed on her shoulder). Then she came back with the same raw vegetable and said that the cook said it was fresh. Then she felt it necessary to create another sensation on the terrace. Chicken burger and satay were good, this woman was lousy! Not to be repeated.

Heerlijk gegeten. Eten en service was buitengewoon goed. Plank Kopenhagen was zeer goed bereid met heerlijk mals vlees. Fijne avond gehad.

Went to dinner with a team of 8 people on Saturday evening. We had a very cozy, real corner for our own company. Starters, mains and desserts were top notch, the atmosphere was casual and the service was quick, we will definitely be back!

We had a delicious meal at Lookies as always. They have a new menu and we had the wonton soup as a starter. That soup was so delicious. Main course also very tasty. We really like the atmosphere, the music and the service. In short, we would recommend Lookies. Make a reservation to be sure. Today we went here for lunch to celebrate our mother's birthday. Upon entering we noticed that it was busy, a good sign we thought. The music was quite loud, so we had to talk loudly to each other. Drinks were quickly taken and reserved. The green tea chai that I ordered (the menu included cinnamon pipe) was not freshly created tea but just a simple bag. Ordered lunch dishes, waited 45 minutes... which was quite long for a simple bread dish, but hey, we had a good time. In the meantime, no one came to ask us if we wanted something to drink. The food was very disappointing, I haven't had such a bad lunch in a long time. I had healthy vegetarian bread with Iberico ham. It was 1 small sandwich with some lettuce and ham and completely tasteless. What a miss! I've been throwing salt on my food to make it taste like something. Other table companions had carpaccio bread. Without bacon and pumpkin seeds, which were on the menu. All in all this is stated. The manager took the 2x healthy vegetarian bread off the bill, which I thought was appropriate. I had been here for lunch before, when the club sandwich was on the menu and that was great. Had such a bad experience now. We paid quickly and will never return. Shame!
