Last week, I made a phone reservation for 15 people on January 1, 2026, in memory of my late grandmother. Upon arrival, I discovered it was CLOSED??? IT'S VERY DIRTY TO ACCEP A RESERVATION IF YOU'RE CLOSED ON THAT DATE.

Excellent service from Florence

We had a wonderful meal for the second time at Christmas 2024/2025. A cozy spot in the conservatory, a quiet spot, was exactly what I'd asked for. The food was excellent again, and it's always nice that you can choose from the menu. That's great. Reasonably priced. Fantastic, compliments to the chef and staff! See you next year. Excellent quality lunch! Enjoy the outdoors in the square in summer and the cozy atmosphere indoors in winter.

Highly recommended. Super friendly service. We had a delicious deluxe midday meal. It's a cozy place. I would recommend making a reservation because it got quite busy around 12:30.

It's a pretty cozy place. However, if you go on really busy days, it might be a bit noisy, and the staff can barely handle it. The menu itself is quite limited, but it's reasonably priced. Still, it gets 4 stars because it's a great place in the center of Naaldwijk.

Great food and pleasantly busy, so I think reservations are necessary

I visited this bar-restaurant for the first time and was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. The decor was stylish and modern, with a cozy bar in the center. The cocktails were excellent – ​​beautifully presented and full of flavor. The appetizers were delicious, especially the bruschetta and the cheese board. The staff were attentive and knew exactly when to stop by. The music was lively but not intrusive, making it perfect for an evening with friends. The service was prompt, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. Everything felt professional and welcoming. A place where you could easily spend hours. Definitely worth a visit!

What a fantastic evening we had here. The service was prompt and friendly, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was cozy. The only points of concern would be a few vegan options and the acoustics, as it was quite loud.

Delicious meal, but the waitresses spoke poor English and were not professional. We received extra bread and salad that we hadn't ordered, and they waited 5 minutes to bring us more after the meal had already been served. I asked her for napkins, and she gave me just one ridiculous one.

Very cozy. The staff is a bit pushy when it comes to ordering. Often many tables empty with a sign saying "reserved"? Wheat beer: €6!

This afternoon we sat on the terrace in the square. After asking if we could have a drink, we chose a spot. There were plenty of waitresses, but none bothered to ask what we wanted to order. They were very busy chatting and yawning, and smoking behind the gate. Finally, after waiting and signaling, someone showed up. We also ordered something to eat. When someone asked if she could help us, we said we'd ordered something to eat. The answer was: "Oh, it'll be here soon." Finally, after a long wait, we paid for our drinks and left without seeing the food. If this were my business, I would have liked to know about this.

Very local food, it's good, but it's not a constant pleasure, but you can enjoy the place, eat something different from what you're used to, etc.

Today we were enjoying a drink and lunch on the terrace in the sunshine. At 1 p.m., two people sat down next to us and asked if the parasol could be raised. A friendly young lady explained that the entire terrace couldn't be shaded because others wanted to sit in the sun. I thought that was great. Meanwhile, there were three tables in the shade available, but the couple next to us wouldn't take no for an answer, so I asked a deer (probably a higher-ranking member), and the man also asked us if we wanted to move to the part of the terrace where there was still a bit of sun. I'm usually not this picky, but when a couple sits in the sun at almost the hottest part of the day and shaded spots become available, you still insist on raising the parasol. I find it truly bizarre that the man from Mirella is not only undermining his staff but also making a bad decision. Anyway, I hope the couple had a wonderful time. I left.

Afgelopen zondag hier gegeten en het eten was echt super. Alles was goed bereid en smaakte top, daar valt niks op aan te merken. Wat wel jammer was: de bediening. Er was weinig aandacht voor de gasten en het leek alsof het personeel meer met elkaar bezig was dan met de tafels. Veel geklets achter de bar en je moest zelf moeite doen om geholpen te worden. Zonde, want met zo’n goede keuken verwacht je ook goede service. Eten top, service kan echt beter.

Nice spot on the square. Lovely outdoor terrace. The food is average. With a slightly more unique menu, Mirell would be a cut above other brasseries. Personally, I find it rather average.

delicious food, good value for money

Wij gaan regelmatig uit eten, onder andere bij Mirell in ons schone Naaldwijk. Mirell kennen we goed. Het eten is er prima. De bediening is er prima. De ruimte binnen en het terras zijn prima. De prijzen zijn goed. De Kiproerbak voor € 19 is heerlijk. Vaak mijn keuze. Bestel er niets bij want dan wordt het waarschijnlijk teveel. De Spare ribs € 20.50, normale grootte, is ook heel goed. Bijna vaste keuze van mijn partner. Veel vlees. Afgelopen zondag 23 juni heb ik weer eens Tournedos voor € 32 genomen. Volgens de kaart inclusief sjalottensaus en frites. Bij het opnemen vroeg de bediening mij of ik i.p.v. sjalottensaus (jus) misschien champignonsaus wilde. Met, op mijn vraag, de toezegging dat de saus goed met champignons gevuld was heb ik die saus genomen. Het vlees, ik schat 200g, was heerlijk mals. De champignonsaus was ook heerlijk. Alleen kon ik er maar een paar flintertjes champignons in vinden. Na mijn klacht daarover kreeg ik na enige tijd extra, normaal gesneden champignons geserveerd. Heerlijk. Ik hou van groenten, waaronder sla. Op mijn bord was daar niets van te vinden. Je komt dat in steeds meer restaurants tegen. Zeker als Westlander vind ik dat een schande! Mijn partner had weer spareribs met daarbij Gemengde sla en frites. Zij was zo lief mij een gedeelte van haar sla te geven. Mijn ervaring bij Mirell van het apart bijbestellen van sla is dat je dan echt je best moet doen om het op te krijgen. De nota viel mee. De champignonsaus en extra champignons waren niet gerekend. De witte huiswijn (Chardonnay) kostte € 4,50 per glas. Sommige restaurants rekenen daar tegenwoordig rustig € 7 voor. Idioot. Al met al blijven wij klant, maar het zou mooi zijn als Mirell eens goed naar de garnering van de hoofdgerechten kijkt.

Accidentally ended up here after a short Sunday walk in the Staelduinse forest. Another restaurant turned out to be completely reserved. Googled it and ended up here. Right in the quiet center of Naaldwijk, but at Mirelle it felt like you were in a bustling catering environment. Sweet young ladies, with an eye for the guest. Atmospheric and we will remember it for the next time we go that way.

Excellent cappuccino and cozy atmosphere

We've been coming here for years. But lately the service has deteriorated sharply. The music is way too loud. Why? You can't even understand each other. When asked if it could be softer, it goes softer for 5 minutes then just loud again. And then the choice of music is for a select group. When you enter they ask you what you want to drink and with the first sip whether you want anything else to drink. Something goes wrong here.

Great food though otherwise very busy on weekends

It was very pleasant to eat here on the terrace, which was attractively connected to the Wilhelminaplein. Despite the crowds and the full terrace, the service was surprisingly fast. I ordered a 12-hour one, which was reasonably priced and well stocked

I came here for coffee with my 12-year-old son. My son has an intellectual disability similar to Down syndrome. My son asked the waitress what her name was. That's his way of making contact. The waitress responded rather bluntly that she is not saying her name because this is private. Of course, she has the right to keep her name private. However, I do think that you can take someone's limitations into account. Even if you make up a name or say I'm Mrs. Waitress. But some kindness would have been appropriate. Too bad, next time I will sit with the neighbors. Coffee and croissant were also fine.

A nice shop on the Markt in Naaldwijk. The interior has an industrial modern design. It is always quite busy, which of course also indicates the quality of this restaurant. What strikes me is that the map never really changes. In terms of appearance, but not in terms of dishes. But why adapt a winning concept? We eat a warm goat cheese sandwich and I have my standard steak sandwich. I knew the latter from before, but the quality had even improved in my taste. Furthermore, Mirell seems to be great with high tea, high wine, high lunch, baby showers, given the many tiers of small dishes that passed our table. Definitely recommended given the atmosphere and the delicious dishes. And the staff? It's a well-oiled machine, I think many people also find it an honor to work at the Mirell 'institute', because we don't see any staff shortages here. But people who enjoy their work. Guests are served quickly and both drinks and dishes are on the table quickly. Empty bottles and dishes are also cleared away quickly. In addition, you always feel at home there.

If I'm sitting at a table somewhere and want to linger -> read -> spend money, I don't want to hear that you have to eat your food within 5 minutes and leave because the table has been reserved. Then put a sign on it saying reserved and don't let anyone sit at that table, really strange......they really need to do this better!!!!

The service was acceptable, but the staff seemed to show little interest in our specific wishes and did not listen properly. Whenever we asked for something specific, we got it as it was on the menu, without any adjustments. This was especially problematic because we requested changes due to an allergy, but they were not implemented. While the food was tasty, it wasn't special enough to keep us coming back weekly. However, the interior design of the place was incredibly beautiful and atmospheric.

Having lunch there was busy, we sat very close to a table with 2 other guests. Ordered a salmon sandwich ...was very disappointing 3 small strips of salmon for 14.50!!! The site still has an old menu...with lower prices.
