Brasserie Moccano in Wijk 02 Overwhere

Hungry went out to sit down to eat something but after taking the drinks it remained quiet. Walked past several times but could not see the neighbors had finished their bread in the meantime (came in later) paid for the coffee to a grumpy waitress not hospitable but that is perhaps culture..

Ate yesterday but the waitress walked around with an irritated face had not yet sat down had my coat on and she was already standing in front of me to take the order, could not say a friendly word asked her can I take a look at the menu but she stood in front of me (I had to hurry). The food was not what I am used to from them, was always very satisfied but I will not go there again! . Been going there for years always give a good tip. But next time I will eat somewhere else, the burger was not fried properly the fried egg on it had black edges and was hard. When I indicated that I wanted to pay she put a bowl with a receipt on the table and walked away again, I already had the money in my hand. No, that waitress should better find another job. And too bad the food was not good either.

Had a delicious coffee and a delicious uitmijter! But everything on the menu seems delicious, couldn't make a choice!! Also combined with terribly friendly staff! We will come back, for sure!

On Saturday, we waited 15 minutes for someone to ask if we wanted something to eat or drink. We left without even being spoken to by the staff. Bad service. Never coming here again.

The food was delicious, everything was well seasoned. The service was super friendly, and the atmosphere with the background music was very pleasant.

It's a bit strange that if you are open until 5:00 PM, you can no longer order coffee at 4:04 PM because the machine has already been cleaned. This is what happens when you have staff who are too young and not qualified

Way too expensive for what you get. Country bread with salmon, avocado and shrimp. The bread was fine. The spread is questionable. The lettuce from a bag and way too much. Two thin slices of salmon. Three pieces of avocado and 5 shrimp. Not worth it.

Because the Caesar salad tasted so good to me and my old aunt of 90 last time at the WEC, we also ordered it here, but this salad did not compare to the other one. Where it was so refined and tasty in the WEC, it was sour and large chunks of chicken fillet and whole slices of bacon that were tough and difficult to cut, especially if your hands no longer work so well. But we didn't feel like saying anything about this. When we wanted to pay and the waitress asked if everything had been tasty, we said that was not the case and this lady went to the chef, of her own accord (which I thought was very thoughtful of her), to see if she had any leftovers. what could do for us. Then the chef came up to me on high legs, asking how I could imagine not liking his salad! He refused to accept any criticism of his salad. The waitress apologized for her boss's behavior and would have liked to give us something in compensation, although I wasn't looking for that at all. I was just answering a question.

Recently had a delicious meal at Moccano for the first time. The restaurant looks very neat, clean & beautiful. It appealed to me right away. The staff were very friendly and the food came quickly. I came for lunch, so ordered a “chicken sandwich”, as I was wondering what it tasted like; very tasty and filling sandwich. Cheap for what you get! Top restaurant, I would definitely come back here more often.

Me and my friend went there for our lunch with two kids which is one 3years and one 5 years. A lady was also having coffee on other table. She keep staring at us whole time like we are something else. This is the first experience. And then I went to the kasa to pay our lunch and they changed me 62 euros instead of 40 something euros. We felt very humiliated, because of we are outsiders. This is second experience and The food is so good .

Great place, surprisingly cozy, good food and drinks.

Excellent cappuccino, nice that dollop of whipped cream on the side. I just really wanted to have lunch. After waiting half an hour until I could order, I went somewhere else. Shame!

Come here often to have a coffee. There were never any charges for a dollop of whipped cream. Unfortunately, without mentioning anything, they charged a surcharge of €0.80 last week.

A wonderful and beautiful restaurant and snack

I thought the Moccano in the town had larger rolls and more flavor. Also more generously filled and more funeral fare than this Brasserie. Staff was friendly!

Delicious food! The house burger was perfect, tasty sauce, good bun and excellent price/quality. The wraps with goat cheese were generously topped and no honey was spared. The baguette with carpaccio was 3x larger than you would expect and was deliciously full of cheese and pine nuts. Definitely 5 stars.

We used to be regular customers, but not anymore. If the waiter spilled a hot espresso on your leg and you got burned, you have to pay for it too. Too bad, but not going back!

Today we sat down to enjoy lunch for the first time. Wanted to order a dish that was not on the menu, but was certainly simple to prepare. I had set my sights on a special carpaccio instead of roast beef. Of course, a beef carpaccio is on the menu and should not be difficult to prepare. The very polite waitress submitted my request to the chef, and came with a negative message. The cook could not prepare this. Unfortunately I skipped lunch and only had a drink. Furthermore, a nice place and nice staff. But I'll skip it from now on.

Try the chicken club sandwich. One of the tastiest I know!
