What a great restaurant with young, dedicated staff and both great food and a great atmosphere! 10/10

My wife and I stopped here looking for a lunchtime snack that wouldn't overwhelm us in the hot weather. After our initial shock with Dutch prices, we ordered a fish sandwich and fries with a topping (chicken). In the end, it was totally worth it. It was plentiful, high-quality, and incredibly delicious. Unfortunately, I have to say: better than you often get in Germany. The service was very friendly and spoke very good German. They also like to tip.

The food was soggy, grandma's beef stew, and there was no salad.

It was my first time dining at this restaurant, and unfortunately, I left disappointed. While I can say the food was great and the service was not entirely bad, the way a specific situation was handled was unacceptable. I had ordered quite a lot and was too full to finish everything, so I asked the waitress if I could have one of the untouched dish packed to take away. I waited for quite a while, but the food never came back. When I followed up with another waitress, I was told—rather casually—that there had been a miscommunication and the food was mistakenly thrown away. It was clear that the food hadn’t been touched, so I was very disappointed by how it was handled. Although they apologized, no effort was made to offer or to find another solution. I believe the situation could have been managed more professionally, and some communication or accountability would have gone a long way. This experience has left a negative impression, and sadly. I also believe more training might be needed for staff to better handle these situations.

't Stadshuys is a great place for lunch. The food is not special, but it is tasty and well priced. The location is nice and central, and the recent renovation has definitely improved the restaurant. All in all, a nice and accessible place for a relaxing lunch.

Good experience with a small caveat I was looking for a nice restaurant at random and ended up here. Upon arrival it was quite quiet, which is not strange for a Monday. Still, I politely asked if I could take a seat. One of the staff members thought he was being funny by saying that was possible, only to say to colleagues as they walked away: "Yes, outside haha" — even though I had arrived without a jacket. I personally thought that was a shame and a bit inappropriate. Fortunately, the rest of the visit made up for a lot. The restaurant itself looks attractive, the menu is attractive and varied. I had the tournedos, which was perfectly prepared and beautifully served with both fries and potato. I really enjoyed that together with a Leffe Blond. For dessert I chose the 'crumble van het Huys' (if I say correctly), and that was a pleasant surprise. Very powerful, easy to share with two people. All in all a very good restaurant with fast service. The only point of attention: be careful with humor towards guests — not everyone will appreciate it.

Ate here for the first time with my son and friends. The food was great, just a bit large portions, but they take a container for it so you can take it with you. The service was also friendly and good. We will definitely come back again.

We recently moved to Blauwestad and try to eat out somewhere different every time in Winschoten and this time it was the turn of restaurant 't Stadshuys. Our bellies were full :-) Richard the chef made our dishes top notch (tournedos/sate) with delicious side dishes and a bread board beforehand (top) and cappuccino to end it. Great served by Esmee! Free parking, great business with a great outdoor terrace in the beautiful center of Winschoten. We'll be back.

The tables were nicely arranged, and the overall impression was very positive. Service The service was quick and very pleasant. The staff was professional and friendly, which only enhanced the overall dining experience. It was evident that the employees care about customer satisfaction and strive to meet all requests. Food and Drinks The restaurant specializes primarily in meat dishes, which is evident from their menu. In my case, I chose the ribs, which were simply fantastic. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned just to my liking. To accompany the meal, I enjoyed my favorite Belgian beer, which complemented the food perfectly. Overall Impression My experience at Brasserie-Restaurant was truly great. The high level of service, excellent food, and pleasant atmosphere made this visit an unforgettable experience. I can highly recommend this restaurant to everyone, and I will definitely return to try more dishes from their menu. Brasserie-Restaurant rightfully deserves its good reputation and is certainly worth a visit.

Had a delicious lunch here today. The wrap with chicken is highly recommended. Two large well-filled wraps with marinated chicken fillet, mushrooms and peppers. Really super tasty. Friendly staff with excellent service.

Special Junge ham sandwich, food is delicious! Service could be better, on two occasions the order did not get through to the kitchen properly, so we had to wait an extra 20 minutes.

Unfortunately very inattentive service. While waiting to order, you could have shopped and cooked yourself.

We came here spontaneously and were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent food (we ordered the lamb pot and the schnitzel dish) as well as friendly and attentive service. We'd love to come back!

Ate here yesterday February 2, 2024. I got a delicious chicken satay with perfectly cooked fries and prawn crackers. Really it was fantastic. Petsoneel also nice to deal with. Earlier... Excellent restaurant. Tenderloin. Rib eye. Veal tenderloin...so tender to suck. Garnishes also very tasty. Keep it up people

Prima eten, bediening redelijk en redelijke prijzen

Uitstekende keuken. Heerlijk gegeten. Wildmenu is een aanrader evenals de kalfsoester. Porties zijn ruim en echt zeer verzorgd. Prijs netjes. Bediening mag iets alerter zijn. Paar keer eten verwisseld, tijdig aanvullen van bestek, alertheid tav drankjes. Het was echt niet druk maar personeel bleef veel achter in de zaak. Het is niet erg om een keer vaker te vragen of het smaakt of dat er nog iets aangevuld moet worden. Toilet heren was echt vieze boel, vooral de vloer,opmerking over gemaakt. Werd wel op gereageerd maar weinig aan gedaan.

We waren aan het winkelen in het centrum van Winschoten. Gratis parkeren. Kregen zin in kopje koffie met een broodje warme ham.voortreffelijk een aanrader. Leuk centrum.

Schönes Lokal und tolles Essen.

Vriendelijke mensen. Goed eten. Ook lekker ruim zitten. Kinderstoel kon ruim staan en stond niemand in de weg.

Geen honing bij de munt thee, geen koffiemelk en suiker bij de koffie. Gevraagd en werd met een nijdige blik gebracht. Geen dressing door de salade bij de tostie (wat anders wel erdoor zit). 2e rondje drinken besteld, nooit gekregen. Bij de kassiere aangegeven dat de bediening niet zo goed verliep en of ze misschien nieuw was. (Dan was er begrip van onze kant) deze dame werd zo gepikeerd van mijn opmerking, ik moest er rekening mee houden dat het van 2 kanten moest komen, had ik haar moeten vragen. Volgens mij omgekeerde wereld. Heb gezegd dat ze het niet als kritiek moet opnemen, maar een leer moment. Want er zullen klanten weg blijven op deze manier. Na een boze blik van deze mevrouw heb ik het restaurant verlaten. Erg jammer, deze ervaring !!!

Ondanks dat de verwachtingen wat lager lagen zijn deze op alle manieren overtroffen. Alles is in orde en een zeer aan te bevelen restaurant

In Winschoten bezoek altijd dit erablissement. Er zjn 2 treden, die naar het verhoogde leiden, rechts en een oprit voor invalidenvoertuigen links. Ik zet mij immer a/d leestafel, waar een aantal recente dagbladen zijn in te zien. De bediening is prettig en de croquetten zijn fantastisch. Het 't Stadhuys is gesitueerd recht t/o het Stadhuis en autoparkeren is bezijden het Stadhuis. Alles uiterst aangenaam.

Heerlijk gegeten hier. Mooi in het centrum en het ziet er gezellig uit. We hebben hier geluncht en het was erg lekker. Veel keus ook. De bediening was erg aardig.

Eine sehr schöne Speisekarte und kalte Getränke, das Personal ist sehr freundlich würde immer wieder dort eingekehren.

Met 2 personen koffie gedronken en kleine lunch. Wat is positief opgevallen? Leuke plek op het terras , schone tafel , prima kop verse koffie , vlotte bediening , schone toiletten, heerlijke boerenomelet , redelijke prijzen. Wat is negatief opgevallen ? Bediening is wel vlot maar ook erg humeurig. Wanneer je niet tegen een klant kunt lachen zou je niet in de horeca moeten werken.

Al meerdere keren hier gegeten. Zeer vriendelijk en altijd vrolijk personeel. Eten ontzettend lekker.
