We had a really nice waiter called Alie, she made us feel welcome. The service was prompt. My Burger wasn’t quite done in the middle but it tased good. Neat atmosphere! 👍

Delicious food at a reasonable price. Excellent service that truly remembers the customer's needs. And all of this in a cozy atmosphere!

A nice café, with a lot of noise! ​​When the music is louder while you're talking, people start talking louder, and because they do that more, they talk even louder than the people who are already talking. And as a woman, you have to share the men's restroom, or vice versa. This means: one room, two toilets, one for D and H.

Based on the reviews here, I went to Roegh for dinner. I was served a cremated hamburger twice, returning the first one after a complaint. The menu description was pretentious, but the execution was subpar. Everything was dripping with fat, and the meat was of such poor quality that it was truly awful. That for only €20 was outrageous. My wife had stew. Chunks of beef in a kind of fatty bouillon for only €24. It's about time they hired someone who can cook. The service was very good, though.

We had a delicious meal last night. The meat on the meat platter and the chicken burger were perfectly cooked. Friendly and attentive staff, despite the huge crowds at Waterbei. What a relief compared to the disastrous experience earlier this week at Pand 147. See you next time.

The food was very bad, I ordered a chicken burger which was a bit burnt, the fries were very greasy and salty, and after that I also had stomach problems for a few days.

Stadscafé Roegh is one of the nicest places to sit in Winschoten, with a cozy atmosphere and plenty to see. The lunch dishes are very good, dinner is fine but not very special. The interior is attractive and the service is always cheerful and friendly. I think it could be open a little longer during the weekend, but otherwise highly recommended!

Delicious food (compliments for the kitchen): everything fresh and delicious. Also more than enough! Friendly and quick service and a nice and cozy place to have lunch. Everything neat and tidy. Only tip: pour fresh orange juice a little more generously. Despite that, the orange juice was delicious!

We ate super delicious Carpaccio Broodjes here, which were fresh and very rich. The service was friendly and courteous and advised us about the offer. We sat outside with the dog, but later realized we could have sat inside as dogs are obviously allowed inside. The atmosphere is modern and cozy at the same time, and the café was very busy in the afternoon. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back.

Some time ago, 2 friends from Drachten and myself from Vlagtwedde planned a lunch date on October 30 at Roegh Winschoten. On October 19 I called to reserve a table for 3. The lady on the phone said: you don't have to reserve a table and you can just walk in; there is always a spot. So yesterday around 12.30 pm we walk in, but there is no room. There was someone sitting alone at a table for 4 people. One of us asked if there was anything to shift. That wasn't possible. They also did not check whether a table would become available soon and whether we could wait a while. The lady said sorry and went to take an order. We just left and looked for another opportunity. A missed opportunity and we will no longer go for the rematch with Roegh.

Unfortunately I only drank coffee. But the food looks very good. Will be tested soon. Service was very attentive and friendly.

Pearl in Winschoten, atmosphere is "laidback" relaxed with rustic modern decor. The service is friendly and attentive, we enjoyed the Roegh blond beer (collab between Roegh and Westerwolde brewery) and the XXL snack board; the latter is a composition of cold and hot snacks that are a quality level higher than average. The kippeling (crispy chicken pieces) are great! Recommended if you are in Winschoten.

Had lunch on September 26 It was a very bad hour, the soup law, fried egg was cold, and the croquette was hollow on the inside, definitely not recommended.

The two of us sat comfortably outside the café on a Saturday and ate delicious food: Brootje with Geitenkaas🌮 and small hamburgers🍔 mmh... and watched the hustle and bustle of the market. We were served quickly and friendly 👍 Next time we'll enjoy our break inside.

WARNING: you cannot eat here after 3:45 PM (Mon, Tue, Wed) even though they don't say so on their website because they hope you don't dare get up and stay seated for the expensive bitterballen. I'll give it until the end of this year, then this place will be closed down again (despite their good food when it is available!).

According to the expert, her best carapaccio salad ever, I enjoyed chicken thigh satay and delicious peanut sauce. Garnish for both dishes better than what you usually get. Recommended. Didn't take a photo, it smelled too good so I attacked immediately ;)

Nice lunch for a great price. The only downside was the tight spots. The guests behind us were sitting too close and had small children present. Otherwise a great tent!

Ham sandwich (€10!) and 2 coffees. It's fresh, it's tasty, but the ham is just a little too scanty or the price is just a little too high, but you see that throughout the catering industry these days. So that! So I will come back to spontaneous staff and a neat toilet area! Nice location, nice business/asset for Winschoten.

Fijn terras in het hart van de stad. Er rijdt geen gemotoriseerd verkeer, lekker rustig. Hier hoor je de mensen elkaar groeten: "He, moi!" en de kinderen rijden er op de fiets hun rondjes. Lekkere koffie en thee. Bovengemiddeld gebak, om niet te zeggen "uitstekend". De bediening is vlot, al baande een van de serveersters haar weg temidden van het publiek door een stoel opzij te schoppen. Dat kan beleefder.

Heerlijk gegeten maar het duurde erg lang voor we inze bestelling kregen, waarschijnlijk wegens drukte !

Super leuk restaurant midden in het centrum van Winschoten. Vriendelijk personeel. Betaalbare gerechtjes en spareribs zijn erg aan te raden. Ook een keer geweest om te lunchen en broodje carpaccio is een echte aanrader.

It’s possible to sit inside or outside. The drinks are good and the service I just can say was good. We didn’t try the food just drinks on that day. When we wanted to pay one cashier just talked in Dutch so I couldn’t understand her but in the end it went well.

Het eten wat we hadden was heerlijk de nachos waren de lekkerste die ik heb gehad de service was ook top maar de sfeer buiten was niet zo goed de parasols de stoel en tafels waren een beetje slecht

Vandaag voor het eerst gegeten in Roegh. Mooie locatie met een goede ligging. Vriendelijke en snelle bediening. Heerlijk genoten van de lekkerste ijskoffie die ik tot nu toe geproefd heb; ik miste alleen een beetje slagroom. Ook het eten smaakte prima, en je betaald een nette prijs voor de service en kwaliteit die je krijgt. Hier kom ik zeker vaker terug!

Goed om bij voorbaat te bedenken dat je plaatsneemt op het terras van een cafe en niet op het terras van een restaurant. De menukaart, de aankleding , de kwaliteit , de bediening etc. etc doet je dit wel duidelijk beseffen. Het concept zal zijn dat je even iets gaat drinken en terloops ook nog een hapje nuttigt. Dat is in principe helemaal niet verkeerd. Maar er is dan toch wel iets helemaal fout; De prijzen. 20 euro voor een hamburger, een portie sate of iets dergelijks overtreft het prijsniveau van een restaurant en zijn niet passend bij een cafe.

Spateribs waren heerlijk, vlees viel zo van het bot. Leuke sfeer en goede bediening. Niet de goedkoopste daarin tegen wel goed.

In centrum Winschoten gezellig bij de markt n lunch en koffie. Zeker een aanrader ook omdat men tegemoet kwam voor n koolhydraat arm eten voor mijn vriendin. Gewoon open staan en meedenken.

Cosy friendly restaurant with modern design. Simple good lunch and dinner selection. Good for a coffee and cake, or beer and snacks. The spare ribs are fantastic.

Small place in the center. The food is tasty and the platter is quite complete. We loved the small space for children, it has a lot of variety for children to play.

Vandaag gegeten bij het (voor ons nieuwe) Stadscafé Roegh. Pluspunten zijn de goeie sfeer en mooie inrichting, kaart met ruime keuze en vlotte bediening. De nacho's waren erg goed, ook met salsa tussen de chips ipv alleen bovenop. Minder vonden wij de tosti wat eerder twee pizzabroodjes waren waarvan maar eentje met de beloofde ham. Wij hadden een klassieke tosti verwacht. We komen zeker nog een keertje terug.

Heerlijk een High Thea gehad! Zeker een aanrader. Zeer uitgebreid en lekker, en super lieve en vriendelijke mensen in de bediening.

Gezellig Grand Cafe met prima eten tegen een redelijke prijs en vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.

Je denkt dat je het bedrag betaald voor deze xxl borrelplank . Maar helaas . Staat er met zeer kleine lettertjes geschreven per persoon ! Dit geeft een misleidend gevoel . Ik hoop dat jullie de menukaart dan ook gaan aanpassen .

Erg lekker gegeten. Roegh is een sfeervol restaurant met goede en snelle bediening. Je merkt dat deze mensen zich als doel hebben gesteld om hun gasten een fijne avond te bezorgen (of ochtend/middag uiteraard). En dat is gelukt! We komen zeker weten terug.
