Cozy American atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food

We found Cafeteria Maintebos today through Google. Google reviews are great, and they didn't disappoint this time either! The food was absolutely delicious! And the two lovely people behind the counter (I think they were a couple) were so friendly. We felt very welcome. The place is decorated in a 1950s style, complete with fitting music! The prices are reasonable; you really can't complain. If we ever come back to Winschoten, we'll definitely stop by again. A definite recommendation!

We all went out to eat here, and it said online that the cafeteria was open. We found ourselves standing in front of the door, all the lights off, doors locked, and no note or anything. Such a shame! We won't be back.

Neat inside and hospitable service. Ate a Raspatat, a farmer's chunk with joppie sauce and a cup of cappechino, followed by a soft ice cream. Unfortunately I was alone, so I can't say anything about the atmosphere.

Cafeteria with a 1950s atmosphere. There is more than enough seating and very friendly service. We got takeaway and the portions are more than enough. Certainly not too little!! Not bad at all in terms of taste, it remains a personal thing. The crowds aren't too bad either. You can sit and wait on the spot.

I don't give the last star because they put the fries sauce over the fries. It is not easy to eat because some fries are completely covered in them. Mayo should just be added next to it or separately.

What a wonderful old-fashioned cafeteria. Delicious crispy fried fries from Groningen potatoes with crispy snacks neatly served on a plate with a knife and fork. We have not often had a better meal at a restaurant like this, so the high reviews are really true. We love friendly and humorous service. So a big 5 stars for this genre! We will definitely come back when we are in the area.

In general everything was fine, it started almost perfectly. But over time we discovered that there were some downsides, such as the toilet door handles that were loose and could not be locked normally. And the hot thunder was on the lesser side, besides frikandel with c? Is this correct? And lastly, the glasses were not exactly clean. Patat was te lang gebakken. Veel harde stukjes en te bros. En de prijs liegt er ook niet om. Bijna 5 euro voor een papat. Met saus

Café Maintebos brengt enorm leuke jeugdherinneringen op, ik kwam hier als kind enorm vaak met mijn ouders en het leuke er van dat het vrijwel hetzelfde is gebleven qua interieur (natuurlijk moderner geworden door de jaren heen). Ik zal altijd dol blijven op jullie Slush Puppies ondanks dat ik nu boven de 20 ben. Als je totaal geen zin hebt om te koken, dan zou ik hier heen gaan voor het eten (want dat is natuurlijk ook enorm lekker). Het sfeer zo wel van binnen en van buiten zijn enorm gezellig, ben enorm blij dat jullie nog open zijn! 😊

Leuke snackbar lekker eten maar vrij prijzig

Dit is een toffe cafetaria! Niet de goedkoopste maar met dit sfeertje (50s) de leuke eigenaren en niet te vergeten het overheerlijke eten mag dat geen naam hebben. Voor mij de beste Kwalitaria!

Goede snackbar. Lekkere patat en snacks, en één van de weinige die een ragoezi hebben. Vriendelijke mensen, goed eten. En de uitstraling van de snackbar zelf is gewoon prachtig.
