It is great that the brasserie is open again. It has been taken over by a nice team that is giving it their all. And all this in a beautiful location. The view is over the marina, so there is always something to see. The menu features delicious dishes. The service was incredibly friendly and everything was well taken care of. I had the North Sea Salad and the Crème Brûlée for dessert. I am very satisfied and we will definitely be back.

Beautifully situated restaurant by the water, had a delicious meal, the Greek-style stir-fried mussels are highly recommended, as was the tournedos, which was amazing… Children are also more than welcome..

I have eaten here several times since the new owner opened the doors this summer. Beautiful location on the harbors of Yerseke, good service, and a nice atmosphere! Personally, I love the steak, and my wife is obsessed with the sole, which is very large! The creme brûlée is also superb! They also regularly organize live performances there, which is very enjoyable when you sit outside on the terrace in the sunshine!

Just had a nice stay. Friendly welcome and service. Food is honest, tasty, and plentiful. These people deserve a second visit.

What a terrible place this is, it looked like one big playground. The wait staff didn't come to take our drink order until half an hour later, and the food was cold. Just keep it up! I am never coming here again!!

Relaunch by a completely new team. Highly recommended! Super friendly staff. Had delicious sole. And on a few special days of the year, they also host very cozy parties with (live) music outside on the terrace. A truly stunning location too, but that was already the case, of course.

I rarely give 1 star. Although it is a nice establishment with a beautiful view of the harbor, the way we were treated was below par. Because it was a special day in Yerseke (Yerseke @ Sea), we asked if it was permitted to take a seat just to have a drink. With a look of 'what are you asking now?', the answer was positive. However, when one of us went to get a drink, she was no longer allowed in and was refused entry in an unfriendly manner. In my humble opinion, the guest should not be the victim of poor briefing for the staff. Of course, I would have fully understood if they had only refused 'drinkers'. But it was initially allowed. Also, only 2 of the many tables were occupied at the time we were there. Anyway, I do not wish to be treated like that, anywhere. Hence the 1/5 stars.

We had to wait over 10 minutes before being asked if we wanted to order, and at that point we didn't even have menus. The first thing we were looking forward to wasn't available. We ordered the Bitter Platter to share for €13.50 and received a tiny plate with eight fried pastries. The price-performance ratio is completely off. A 0.2-liter Coke costs over €4...

Changed ownership a few weeks ago. We wish the owners and staff a good start! Had delicious mussels; the quality was excellent and the staff friendly.

We ate here recently and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. The food was substandard: lacking flavor, not fresh, and certainly not what we had expected. The service also left much to be desired. We had made a reservation, but the reservation board remained on our table the entire time instead of being removed as soon as we arrived. Additionally, we were immediately asked what we wanted to drink, even though we hadn't even received the menu yet. What also bothered us was the so-called children's menu. In reality, the full price was simply charged for a sharing dish or starter, and we even had to pay extra for fries. To us, that is not a children's menu. If you advertise a children's menu, you expect a suitable portion and price, not a way to charge extra costs. All in all, we found the value for money very disappointing. Based on our experience, we would not be coming back here.

A nice brasserie with a terrace over the water with a very beautiful view of the marina… Lovely dishes on the menu… We had a delicious meal and enjoyed a nice glass of wine.. After being closed for 2 years, the brasserie was recently taken over by a young.. friendly.. enthusiastic team.,

Such a shame, it was 2 years ago, very bad service. But oh well, a new chance. Having the kitchen closed, party tonight, okay, no problem. Then a drink. Clearing the table and taking drink orders already took a lot of time. That’s one thing, busy. Well, not really busy. Busy with changing over, it turns out a bit later. Just close the place down then. But anyway, the drinks arrive in dirty glasses. By that I mean really filthy. Not just with us, but also with the guests next to us. Okay, empty up and get out of here.

The food is good, but the service is bad. You have to wait a very long time (even though the restaurant isn't full) and some things simply aren't brought.

Had to wait a very long time for a simple salmon sandwich. And when it finally arrived, it really was very simple. But in the meantime, they did manage to sell some drinks. Not recommended. You'd be better off spending your money somewhere else.

More than disappointed… The service was poor, the staff weren't well-trained, and they seemed to have little experience in the restaurant business. They knew how to use the order-taking machine, but that was the extent of their culinary knowledge. We had to ask for the menu (?). We waited almost two hours for our food (there were only seven tables occupied). Our request for bread instead of fries was promised but then forgotten. The kitchen door was constantly being opened from the dining area, and loud music was blaring from it. They didn't pay attention to the guests. One of the six dishes we ordered was no longer available. We only found this out when we tried to order it. We had to get the dessert menu ourselves. After we mentioned that we would like to order dessert, the response was that they had to clear the table first. We used to enjoy going to this restaurant, but now that the management has changed, we won't be returning. You can spend your money much better elsewhere.

The service was appalling. Only three tables were occupied on the terrace, we waited 15 minutes for our drinks and almost an hour for our food. No one served us, not even at any table. We even had to wait to pay. I won't be going back.

I have to share an experience that happened to my family at this restaurant. On June 27th, I went to this restaurant with my family for dinner. I asked inside for a table. I was told that the terrace was already booked, but the inside was full, so we wanted to sit there. The lady informed us that everything was booked there too. There were reservation signs on a few tables, but most of them were empty, with over 10 tables empty. We felt discriminated against because we were from another country. So we left and went to the restaurant next door, De Viskeete, although it was much busier. We were served normally. After lunch, out of curiosity, we walked back to the restaurant, and the tables were still empty. So I'm giving this restaurant a wide berth.

Not open till 22:00, kitchen closes at 20:00 also in July

Nice view and the staff is friendly, but it's quite impressive that something can go wrong with all of them when you order 4 items. We ordered a cappuccino which didn't work because the milk hadn't arrived yet. Okay, so we had a regular coffee instead. A Spa Blue became a Spa Red, and a Coke Zero became a regular Coke. After mentioning it, these were of course neatly swapped 😉👍. Then a herring sandwich; the rolls were sold out so this became a fresh baguette with 2 herrings. Okay, fine, and it was fine to eat too. However, when paying, the bill listed an eel sandwich for 16.50 instead of a herring sandwich. After we mentioned this, we did get 10 euros back after consulting with her boss, so all in all it was resolved. Let's just say everyone was suffering from the heat. P.S. Do keep an eye on your receipt/bill because 16.50 for a herring sandwich is really on the high side.

Eight people had a wonderful meal. Fresh fish and mussels—all of excellent quality. Service was quick and the price-quality ratio was excellent. The vegetarian options were very limited.

We came for a drink to pass the time because my toddler is sleeping in my arms (we are a party of 4). We were asked to move and make way - to the NEXT table - because we are just having drinks, disturbing my sleeping toddler and myself finally relaxing. Doesn't make sense at all, the diners (of 3) could have perfectly taken the table where we were moved to. 🤷‍♀️ definitely not coming back here... ever.

It couldn't get any more unfriendly. Absolutely unacceptable. We were really looking forward to mussels and other seafood. We even drove here specifically for this place. We were practically the only customers. The older gentleman who was serving us only came to us reluctantly, was dismissive, and clearly didn't want to help. We only had drinks, and even that was too much. Never again! You feel so unwelcome and like you're begging. We'd much rather go to Brouwersdam! It's definitely not worth the trip here, even if that might be unfair to the other friendly people in this city.

A delicious tomato soup. Delicious bread generously topped with salmon and tuna salad. Beautiful view of the harbor. A lovely spot.

Het aantal mosselen dat werd geserveerd was voor een kind van 3 jaar. Een derde van de schelpen was niet open en de frieten waren trommelstokken. Wegblijven daar; zeker geen aanrader!

Very jerky male service. Everything was too much. The young lady did much better. The food was good as was the rear terrace. Too bad that jerk is the reason we won't be going there anymore for a while.

Brasserie is mooi gelegen aan de jachthaven, eten was prima , het driegangen menu ,en de bediening vlot en vriendelijk.

Mosselen met friet hadden we. De mosselen waren heerlijk, maar de friet was al minimaal 2x eerder gebakken. Dan neem je jezelf niet heel serieus als restaurant, zeker niet voor 31 euro.

Had to wait a very long time for the food. It's better to bring your own drinks because it might take even longer. Young lady serving does her best. Man looks like he has no desire or interest in it at all.

Op een onbeschofte manier werden we verzocht ons eten vlug op te eten en te vertrekken omdat onze 9 maanden oude baby te veel lawaai zou maken voor de andere gasten... nochtans vond de tafel naast ons de reactie ook onterecht en hadden ze helemaal geen last! Ons zien ze niet meer terug en ik kan gezinnen met kinderen alleen maar afraden om hier een voet binnen te zetten.

Quiet atmosphere, beautiful surroundings ... food was average .... but we are used to better food ... the fries with calamari and fish 'n' chips were fried in the same fat and tasted a bit similar ... .otherwise friendly service.

Beautiful terrace, cozy on the harbour. At 6 pm we couldn't order a bitter garnish, "the kitchen is too busy" act normal! Service also quite grumpy while we had to wait a very long time before someone came. Another terrace next time!

Been coming here for years. First time with the grandchildren this week. We went for a drink first, later we would have something to eat. It was completely against his taste because we only drank something. Not a kind word could be said. Menu was just thrown on the table. We had to wait a long time to order, even though he had already passed us 3 times. (hoping we would leave I guess). None please could come off. The children were laughing and having fun. Certainly did not disturb other guests. Suddenly the cook came very angrily and told us to be quiet. We will never come here again. Very child unfriendly. A real shame.

What a grumpy guy, no hello upon arrival or departure, glass crashed, etc. After our drink we went for a nice meal at the oyster farm.

Is een gezellige brasserie met uitzicht op de haven en een ruim terras lekkere gerechten wij zijn dol op de carpaccio en het toetje van rood fruit...

Eten was uitstekend service laat te wensen over op momenten dat het druk is, kwa zweer het zit er een beetje tussen in kan het niet echt uitspreken

Lekker lunchen in een sfeervol restaurant. Zeer vriendelijk personeel.

Zowel buiten op het terras als binnen in het restaurant is het mooi en aangenaam vertoeven. Met telkens super uitzicht op de boten in beide jachthavens. Lekkere gerechten. Gebakken Zeetong van 700 gr is om duimen en vingers af te likken. Wel niet om elke keer te eten want niet zo goedkoop 49,50 euro als hoofdgerecht. Maar het was meer dan 5 jaar geleden dat ik die daar nog eens gegeten had. En ik herinnerde mij dat nog. Vandaar dus. Wel moeten reserveren, want als het een Belgische feestdag is, is hier bijna elk tafeltje gereserveerd! Niet voor niets zag men veel volk zoeken in heel Yerseke voor 'n vrij tafeltje. Hier en daar zag je zelfs 'n bord aan de ingang staan mer daarop: VOL ! Helaas !

Helemaal vanuit Eindhoven hier na toe gekomen voor oesters en mosselen te eten! Zeker een aanrader het personeel is ook heel vriendelijk ik ga hier zeker vaker heen!!

Ein schöner Ort, aber Getränke kommen nicht und bezahlen kann mann nicht - nur eine Bedienung für den ganzen Laden. Sehr schlecht ...
