A small drawback is that there's a relatively large amount of fish on the menu and not much meat. The dessert was truly REALLY delicious (a profiterole with ice cream and warm caramel sauce 😋)

Absolutely recommendable! We arrived with high expectations because it had been recommended to us. And we were rewarded with a fantastic evening. Absolutely warm, friendly service, absolutely fantastic food (we had the tasting menu, a fantastic selection of dishes), and a truly lovely, cozy atmosphere. And the price was also impressive! Thank you for the wonderful experience. We'll definitely be back when we're on holiday nearby. ☺️

Het ‘proeverijtje’ is een absolute aanrader. Een drie-gangendiner waarbij elke gang bestaat uit kleine hapjes van verschillende gerechten. Heerlijke smaken en een voortreffelijke kwaliteit. En dan bij je tafel gebracht bij uiterst vriendelijke behulpzame bediening. Toprestaurant!

Last Saturday evening, the four of us had a wonderful meal. We sat inside and enjoyed the cozy atmosphere. The service from Danique, another young woman, was super relaxed. Everything is perfectly organized here!

A very nice and cozy brasserie in the center of Middelharnis. The interior is quite small, but nicely decorated. Subtle yet neat. We also found the service very pleasant and helpful. A nice and attractive menu with a wide variety of dishes. So there's plenty of choice for everyone, yet the menu is thankfully not too extensive. Because there are very few restaurants on Goeree Overflakkee, it gets incredibly busy here on nice days with Germans and locals...so keep that in mind and make reservations in advance. It's understandable, but also annoying with such crowds. It's very warm inside...not very pleasant. Hopefully, better ventilation or air conditioning will be implemented soon. Otherwise, a real asset!

We ate with nine people. Everything was served simultaneously, all hot and of good quality. Delicious, generous portions. Friendly service. A bit noisy inside.

Last Thursday we had a wonderful time at the Brasserie by the harbor. It was our wedding anniversary, and we'd asked beforehand if we could order oysters, and yes, no problem. We had a fantastic meal with a delicious wine. Perfect ambiance and service—in short, it's a real treat to dine here; it's fantastic!

What more could you ask for at the harbor? Nice seating on a bench. They've carefully considered the fact that couples/duos enjoy looking out at the harbor together. The food is excellent. Brasserie ++ level, I'd say. One point for improvement: I expect a Limoncello Spritz to have prosecco in it, but I didn't taste it.

We had another delicious meal at De Bras in Middelharnis last night. The harborside atmosphere remains fantastic, and the food was—as always—super fresh and delicious. Our children enjoyed the "large menu" and enjoyed it just as much as we did. Great service, relaxed atmosphere, and consistently good. We'll keep coming back!

Gisteravond weer heerlijk gegeten bij De Bras in Middelharnis. De sfeer aan de haven blijft top en het eten was – zoals altijd – supervers en smaakvol. Onze kinderen aten mee van het grote menu en hebben net zo genoten als wij. Fijne bediening, ontspannen sfeer, en gewoon altijd goed. We blijven terugkomen!

A very cozy spot, where you really feel like you're dining out. The wine was constantly refilled, and we were always asked if everything was to our liking. We call that old-fashioned dining. The food was delicious, and the staff still have a smile on their faces. For that reason alone, we'll definitely be back very soon.

Last Saturday, July 12th, we had a wonderful meal at "de Bras." Despite the crowds, both inside and on the patio, the service was excellent and fast, and the food was, as always, outstanding! Absolutely fantastic!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience after ordering the Black Angus Sirloin. It was specifically ordered "rare," and it arrived cold, overcooked, and tough. The color of the steak looked like it had just defrosted and been cooked at too low a temperature. Even the waitstaff noticed this. After taking it to the chef, she returned with the plate and said, "The steak is indeed red, it just looks that way... inside in the dark, it's redder than outside in the sun, so you'll have to make do." The service was excellent, and I haven't often experienced a mistake or oversight here.

As a regular customer we are once again spoiled with the excellent kitchen and service of this restaurant. They succeed every time again in reaching the high level. A recommendation for anyone who loves good food.

Remarkably tasty food. Service was good and friendly. Had to wait quite a while between the menus. But it was more than worth the wait. Everything was good and tasty. A small example: Even the mayonnaise was special in taste.

We were all very happy with the menu: salmon tartar, tuna sashimi, beef tataki, and crispy honey-coated belly for starters; lamb and beef fillet, salmon and sea bream for the main course, and a simply wonderful dessert variation of vanilla ice cream in choux pastry with caramel sauce, crème brûlée, and a brownie. All this in a beautiful atmosphere by the harbor, and the service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

It was a pity that we didn't have enough room for a 3-course meal, because the main course and dessert were very good! Service very friendly, after ordering the food also arrived very quickly. The restaurant is located on the water. Very atmospheric. All in all, worth repeating!

I can only recommend this restaurant. The service was truly first-class. The atmosphere right on the harbor with a view of all the ships is lovely, and the food was truly excellent. It tasted absolutely delicious. We'll be back in a few days. The value for money is really good. There were four of us there, and we paid €140, including tips and everything else. And it was definitely worth it.

Opted for the shared menu. The selected snacks were very tasty. There was a cozy atmosphere and it was not too busy.

As always, a very friendly welcome upon arrival, making you feel at home immediately. We had reserved a table for 4 by the window from where you have a beautiful view of the harbor of Middelharnis. The dishes were delicious again, as always, in other words, we enjoyed everything again. I had someone with me with a lactose intolerance and this was dealt with fantastically in mutual consultation and beautiful solutions were found, including a specially made pepper sauce. All in all, a pleasure to stay here for an evening.

Zeer lekker eten, mooi verzorgd, aangenaam personeel. Wij hadden het proevertjesmenu, aanrader! Prijs/kwaliteit zeer goed, gemakkelijk te reserveren, mooie ligging aan het water. Gezellige sfeer. Druk en toch geen hinder van andere tafels.

A Valk-level dinner with a glass of wine for 80 euros per bottle... ridiculous. Wine was also not on the menu. So be careful not to take wine here... not worth it... also small space so a lot of noise inside

My boyfriend and I celebrated our two-year anniversary here. They heard about it, and with dessert, we were surprised with a fireworks display/fountain at the table! So sweet, and it made the evening perfect :) The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and helpful. I'm lactose intolerant, and they were very accommodating. Absolutely great, service great, the dishes were great, only the tiramisu could have had a little more coffee and drinks. Everything else is great!

Delicious food, we were 3 people and got a small round table. That is much cozier than a square table. Then there is always someone sitting alone. The service was very attentive and friendly. Recommended if you want to eat well and in a cozy environment.

Tasting menu in October 2024 was great again. Enjoyed everything. The service was nice and the atmosphere cozy. The salmon was delicious and so was the coconut soup!

We komen hier al jaren en altijd is het weer een feestje. Knap hoe ze al zo lang deze kwaliteit kunnen leveren. Daarnaast aardig en behulpzaam personeel. We hadden deze keer een franse.vriendin mee, een echte smulpaap en ook zij heeft genoten! Kortom een aanrader!!!

We received a fantastic welcome from the 't Vingerling team with a group of 21 sailors. We had very good contact in advance by email about the reservation, the menu, etc. and it was taken care of down to the last detail and everyone enjoyed it. We were able to sit outside where they had made two long tables for our group. 't Vingerling serves a 3-course menu for large groups and it was really good. And besides, it is a picture of a restaurant right on the quay! As an organizer, I received a lot of compliments, which I will pass on to the entire team at 'De Bras' - it couldn't be better!

't Vingerling is fantastic to go to. Delicious food, perfect service and great atmosphere. Best restaurant on the island of Flakkee. I highly recommend eating outside when the weather is nice.

Lovely spot in Middelharnis, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle. Especially now that the terrace has been upgraded and expanded nicely. This way we could enjoy delicious starters next to each other with a view of the harbor. Always a cozy, friendly atmosphere and great service. Tip: have the rib fingers as an appetizer, so delicious.

Ze pretenderen gault millau te hebben maar t is niet meer dan een prima gemiddeld eetcafe. Zowel qua keuken als bediening. Een eenvoudige slibtong kun je elders beter eten. De french coffee was moah en onze opbouwende kritiek werd beantwoord met schouderophalend: het is al 30 jaar zo…. Zo jammer…

Very friendly staff, very good food! I find it confusing that a Proeverij menu is offered for 49.50 euros, although you can only get this menu for two people, i.e. for 99 euros. It would be more customer-friendly and more serious if this menu were listed on the menu for 99 euros for 2 people.

Ein fantastisches Erlebnis! Man sitzt wunderschön am kleinen Hafen - direkt am Wasser. Wir haben das Probiermenu genommen und großen Spaß daran gehabt. Die Weinauswahl hat auch gepasst und wir wurden von sehr netten Bedienungen gut umsorgt. Es war der Abschluss einer Urlaubswoche und wir haben uns vorgenommen wiederzukommen. Ein wirklich gelungener Abend.
