What a great treat to eat here! It all looked fantastic and we (5 friends) had a delicious meal. The service was also very good!

A lot of attention to the food. It looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. Allergies were taken into account.

Went looking for a restaurant nearby during the CenterParcs weekend and found this. Very nice and warm place. Top service and a super tasty menu. Both our children and we thoroughly enjoyed it from aperitif to dessert.

Delicious lunch, fast service and definitely worth repeating!

On Sundays this is one of the few places to eat for brunch/lunch. They also have dinner but I can't comment on that. Smooth friendly service. Dishes were beautifully presented. Lunch menu is a bit on the pricey side, sandwiches start at 13.50, but adjustments to the sandwich are not possible. There are also wraps, croquettes, salads, pasta, egg dishes and soup

We had a very good dinner, unfortunately the service was not up to par.

Absolute recommendation! The small town of Ouddorp is worth seeing, you can stroll relaxed through the shopping street and is also close to the sea. The two of us ate at 't Schouwtje right in the center. The food was really delicious! We both had the burger with chipotle mayo, caramelized onions and pickles. The pickles tasted like they were freshly pickled and the burger was freshly prepared and very juicy! The staff was very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back and recommend everyone to order the burger there!! :-)

One of the nicest places to eat around the area. Service is great, staff is very friendly and attentive: My wife choked on something and was handed a glass of water immediately. We had three courses of which all were very tasty and thought-out. Me and the 4 people I went with can 100% recommend, I will come there again.

I had the Mexican sandwich, super fresh and incredibly tasty. Be sure to try the sandwich! Excellent 👍!

Great, I can only recommend it. Very child-friendly, with a play area for the little ones and top service (very friendly). Price performance is first class.

Cozy restaurant in Ouddorp, with a view of the church. There is a good atmosphere and the staff is very friendly. The food and drinks were well thought out and were very tasty. Our 3-year-old daughter really enjoyed the play corner.

Staff were very welcoming - we had a great lunch on their outside terrace. Definitely recommend their open sandwiches - especially brie with nuts and honey. Also an excellent breakfast of baked eggs, ham & cheese.

Great place with friendly staff, great service, interesting food. For the first time in my life I liked ceviche. Good attention and beautiful inside. I would add some music so it wouldn't be so quiet. Otherwise everything is fine.

Delicious dinner on Easter Monday. The Amuses Tasting is definitely recommended. Great as a main meal with a tasty salad and tasty fries. Sweet and friendly service. We would love to come back here.

During our 12-day holiday in Ouddorp we only had excellent dinners here twice and often enjoyed the delicious cake in the afternoon. Not just fried and greasy food, but light and still delicious. Very friendly service at any time of the day. It was nice that our dog was also warmly welcomed and given water and treats.

Very tasty hearty pea soup with sausage, with a sandwich with bacon and sausage. Congratulations, also to the wonderfully friendly service! We felt welcome for a quick late lunch!

Delicious food in the Schouwtje. New experienced chef with a newly composed menu. Really good food, passion for the profession and you can taste it! Presentation great too! Very beautiful building, I would like to reveal the old walls and ceiling again over time, that gives even more atmosphere. We will definitely come back here again.

The Christmas dinner was amazing, this definitely deserves a Michelin star. It was delicious and it looked very well cared for. You could see and taste that it was prepared with love.

Der Service war super. Zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich. Hunde sind hier auch absolut willkommen. Auch für die Vierbeiner gab es einen kleinen Snack vom Hause. Das Essen war sehr lecker! Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Ik hoef hier niks aan toe te voegen! Eten was overweldigend en echt genoeg, zeker als lunch! Gewoon een dikke vette 10 Alles was schoon, en wat ik het belangrijkst vond.....de hondjes mochten mee naar binnen en die kregen ook wat lekkers🥰

Late lunch van uitsmijter ham kaas...gebakken spekkies en popcorn en nog meer lekkers....gewoon proberen!

Sfeer is goed ,en vooral Dennis doet de bediening fantastisch. Maar vond het eten tegenvallen,hamburger genomen €19.50,best veel voor dit menu,hamburger niet lekker, werd verkeerd neergezet, doorbakken,of rauw,werd wel gratis een nieuwe gemaakt,maar die was te doorbakken!! Heel jammer. En een alleen Engels sprekende bediende,vind ik ook niet fijn,communiceert niet fijn,en daardoor gaan dingen mis. Dus een bakje,en wat drinken,broodplank,of lunch,prima,dat is echt lekker, en ziet er geweldig uit,maar diner voor mij niet meer. Ook heel weinig keus,waar is de biefstuk,varkenshaas,spare-ribs gebleven???

Afgelopen dagen 2x geluncht. Eten is heerlijk en de bediening is top. De dame met het halflange, blonde haar is echt een sieraad voor dit bedrijf!

Het personeel was super vriendelijk en we hebben bovendien ook nog is heerlijk gegeten. Het is ook kindvriendelijk, ze hebben een lekkere kinderkaart en een speelhoek voor de kleintjes. Top!

Sehr feines Essen, aber auch Standardgerichte!

Tuurlijk smaken verschillen, lees in eerdere Reviews dat hamburger te gekruid zou zijn. Ik vind het een omrij burger!! Heerlijk sappig vlees lekker gekruid, en geen burger die zwemt in de saus!! Een echte topper, ik rij daar volgende keer voor om!!👍🏻 Bovendien kreeg mijn hond naast een schaal water ook een bakjes met “tapas” Ik kom hier graag terug!

Ik laat niet snel een slechte review achter, maar ik wil andere mensen een teleurstelling besparen. Wij hebben ruim 1,5 uur gewacht op het diner. Toen we er na een uur naar vroegen moesten we 'gewoon geduld' hebben. Een beetje verwachtingsmanagement en een excuus waren op hun plaats geweest.
