Was super! Prachtig uitzicht over de haven, vriendelijke medewerkers en heerlijk gegeten. Vooral de bouillabaisse vonden wij een aanrader.

The idea behind this restaurant is quite lost. The prices are pretentious, the service / decoration / service level but especially the quality of the food does not match this. In addition, the range of dishes is confusing, they try to offer ''a little bit of everything'', but this misses the mark in our opinion. We eat out very regularly, but this restaurant will stay with us for a long time. Unfortunately not for the right reason.

Carpaccio was dry and without sauce, tournedo was good, but I never received the side dish. As a result, no dessert was ordered. Nice staff. And beautiful location.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten. Alles was gewoon goed en prima verzorgd en vriendelijk personeel. Het is ook heel gezellig ingericht.

We have been coming to Zuiderzoet once a year since it opened. Even though the website and Google state otherwise, we were not welcome for lunch. The kitchen brigade was too busy preparing for the evening, according to the young host who shared this with little empathy.

Had a wonderful evening, children received a coloring page to keep busy. Service is very good and so is the food.

Net terug van deze tent wat een deceptie, Het liep letterlijk in de soep.. Wij moesten ruim 20 minuten wachten voordat ons werd gevraagd of wij wat wouden drinken. Dit terwijl de tent drie kwart leeg was en ze met ruim 10 man rondliepen. Eenmaal aan het hoofdgerecht gekomen schonken ze de vis bouillon over de steak ipv over de Bouillabaise. Excuses werd gemaakt door het jonge onervaren personeel, met een belofte dat er zo snel mogelijk een nieuwe Steak aankwam. Dat duurde ongeveer zo’n 15 minuten, die medium rare was besteld.. Helaas was deze nog helemaal rauw van binnen. Na het melden, aangegeven dat we er klaar mee waren. Waarop de manager zich niet durfde te vertonen en een van zijn onervaren personeelslid liet opdraaien voor de excuses. Dit was wel de laatste keer voor dat geld. Jammer maar hier komen wij nooit meer!!

Just got back from this tent, what a deception, Things literally went to hell... We had to wait more than 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted something to drink. This while the tent was three quarters empty and there were more than 10 people walking around. Once they got to the main course, they poured the fish stock over the steak instead of the Bouillabaise. An apology was made by the young inexperienced staff, with a promise that a new Steak would arrive as soon as possible. That took about 15 minutes, the medium rare was ordered. Unfortunately, it was still completely raw on the inside. After reporting, we indicated that we were done with it. The manager did not dare to show up and had one of his inexperienced staff members pay for the excuses. This was the last time for that money. Too bad, but we will never come here again!!

Kijk, er kan natuurlijk altijd iets verkeerd gaan, maar fout op fout en dan een paar jongelui het laten oplossen terwijl de “manager” op de achtergrond is waanzin. Prima tent om op een zomerse dag een paar bitterballen te eten maar verder is het niet meer wat het vroeger was. Het grootste probleem, sturing in alles. Een niet bekwame manager. Spijtig.

This is a true "hidden gem", the menu is diverse and a nice mix of traditional dishes such as carpaccio and tomato soup alternated with delicious fresh meat and fish dishes, sirloin steak, sushi, a pokebowl or a delicious bouillabaisse. The host is passionate, friendly and knowledgeable, just like the staff. An absolute must for anyone who likes service, fresh and delicious food.

Missed opportunity with a view! Very expensive for Hamburger Zuiderzoet. 1 slice (!) of bacon costs €2. Bun hard and dry.

We had dinner here with a toddler and a baby. Compared to the hysterical Center Parcs restaurant, this was a breath of fresh air. Quiet atmosphere, even though it was full. Sufficient food at a normal price. Children's menu also very reasonable price. Highly recommended

Enough service, everyone super hospitable and alert. Very nice and cozy restaurant, you get the feeling that you are away from the crowds of the Eemhof (where restaurants score very poorly). In terms of food, it was tasty, but a bit disappointing. Cheese croquettes to start with were on the lukewarm side. I had presa, I found it a bit disappointing. I expected slightly juicier meat. Was served without fries, but the fries I ordered were a lot. Creme brulee was tasty but very thin. Banana split sundae was large and delicious, although I expected chocolate sauce instead of caramel-coffee type sauce. Decaf cappuccino was very tasty.

A lot of effort has been put into creating a more luxurious look to this restaurant. You also notice this in the prices. Unfortunately, for me the product choice lags behind. The restaurant has a focus on the sea, where with calamaris I really expect fresh squid and not ready-made...

Nothing special. Please pay attention to the B.L.T. sandwich on their menu. The menu states what you get with an order of BLT. Bread, Lettuce and Tomato... Dear, sweet southern sweet menu maker-typist; BLT stands for BACON LETTUCE and TOMATO.

Everything was really great! Food was tasty, service was nice, view was beautiful and the interior was clean, 5 stars!! This is highly recommended to eat.

The food was very good and so was the service. If there's going to be a meal in Center Park, it's here. Our entrecôte, salmon poke bowl, fish and side dishes were excellent.

What a wonderful meal the six of us had! Everything was neatly laid out and there was a glass everywhere because I had ordered prosecco online ahead of time as a surprise for my table companions. The restaurant is light, but still cozy. Friendly staff! And we had all the 6 delicious food!! Compliment and highly recommended.

Restaurant Zuiderzoet bezocht: Lekker eten; maar bediening was helemaal niet zo denderend. Apéritief: we vroegen Campari Orange: "is dat met Jus d'Orange", kregen we als vraag!(?) Het eten: Holstein steak blue, en de ober kent de uitdrukking "blue" niet (is basiskennis!) De wijn (Pinot noir 30 euro /fles, toch niet de goedkoopste vind ik, dus we verwachtten wel dat er dan een voorproef wordt gegeven), werd in een gesloten fles op tafel gezet; zonder voorproeven, zonder uitschenken. Dat moesten we , als klant, zelf doen. Ook de andere drank werd niet uitgeschonken; Na het eten, bestelden we een koffie met een shot amaretto, 2 latté's en ik niets. Bij het brengen van het gevraagde, kreeg mijn man koffie en ik een glas amaretto! er werd niet gevraagd wie wat moest hebben; echt beneden alle peil.

Spacious restaurant with a view of the marina. The service was smooth and friendly. There is a varied menu with quite a few fish dishes, which somehow feels appropriate for a restaurant on the water. The sole was on the small side (but well prepared).

What a worthless mess. According to reports and inquiries, dogs are allowed. Until you are turned away at the door in a very customer-unfriendly manner…

Had a drink there with my family.

What a nice restaurant. We were even welcome with the dog, baby (8 months) and a 4-year-old child. All the staff were friendly and helpful and took plenty of time for us. The food was also delicious! We don't live nearby otherwise we would certainly have come there more often.

A business with a lot of potential, but unfortunately it is not being used. We have eaten here a few times now and the food has been great every time! Unfortunately, stock management is downright dramatic, you don't have to count on the poke bowl with salmon, it is almost structurally impossible to order and unfortunately several dishes cannot be ordered every time. Zuiderzoet has 3 types of white wine on the menu, only 1 of which can also be ordered. The service does not seem very experienced and therefore the experience is unfortunately not what it should be for such a beautiful business. I really hope that the business can take steps forward, the potential is there!

Visited Zuiderzoet again after a long time. Is (was?) known as a restaurant with a price tag, but with good quality dishes. Unfortunately we had a disappointing experience. I will mention two examples. 1. Carpaccio without salt or pepper, meat came from the freezer and was too thick for carpaccio. You could also have gotten it in the supermarket. Not okay. 2. Fries had clearly been fried twice: color too dark, very greasy and overcooked. We reported this to the waiter, who later indicated that the chef agreed with our analysis. ....And when paying, a portion of fries was added to the bill (which we had taken off). The service was fine: correct and friendly. That wasn't the issue. We won't be back here anytime soon. Shame.

Fantastic food and excellent service. Really enjoyable meal and evening. A suggestion woukd be to publish allergy and meal nutrition info (eg carbs). This would really help those individuals with T1 diabetes.

Food was excellent and inexpensive. Our ordered food was served in a short time. Service was very friendly and helpful. Restaurant location is ideal for a nice walk afterwards.

New owner since April 2024. Unfortunately, nothing remains. Kitchen that refuses to take allergies into account. Fixed staff who make no effort. By the way, they are also excellent substitutes, so it can be very friendly! Bremzoute Bouillabaisse, which doesn't come close to what was served before. I understand that eel is expensive, but in this starter the price was really disproportionate to the small piece of eel. Tacos too little flavor. Squid rings good, but from the freezer and not home made. And the draft beer (just Heineken) came from a bottle without explanation in the middle of high season... A shame, because it was really good here.

To end the holiday, the four of us had dinner here. The menu is extensive and because we like everything it takes a little longer to make a choice. We chose a very varied choice, mainly with many fish dishes, but also pasta Burrata. The latter was made with a very tasty mozzarella, not one of those cow's milk balls from the supermarket. The other dishes were also delicious. It tasted fresh, it was beautifully served, delicious. The service was friendly and took the time for us. If we come to the Zuidlob again, we will definitely come back here.

We were there for the last time today. The service was subpar, an older gentleman made an effort, the rest made us feel like we were a nuisance. I don't even want to mention all the other inconveniences. It's a shame, it should be our highlight at the end of our vacation.

Great here... houseboat in the center park, everything your heart desires

Bedienend personeel was erg aardig en correct, eten was Kwalitatief Uitermate Teleurstellend. Van de Thai Beef salade waren het vlees en de gamba’s te lang gebakken en was de groente meer een soepje, de Portabello’s helaas hetzelfde verhaal…. Helaas een restaurant bij een vakantiepark waar alternatieven meer dan 10km verder weg gezocht moeten worden….

Honestly the nicest restaurant in Eemhof.. Very classy and clean. The atmosphere of the restaurant is so laid back and not rushed, which I like. I like to enjoy my time in a place while eating out instead of being rushed, since I'm on a holiday I like the fact I am in a place where they aren't too pushy about my orders. service was incredible, price of food is reasonable since other restaurants in Center Park are more expensive than Zuiderzoet. Honestly, no complaints.

Als gezin met volwassen kinderen hebben we op het overdekte terras aan de haven plaats genomen voor koffie en een ijscoupe. Van de dessert kaart hebben we alle vier genoten van de verschillende desserts. Prijs kwaliteitverhouding is prima. Bediening vriendelijk en meedenkend.

Had lunch here with a large group of family of 15 people and it went quite smoothly. Friendly staff and the food arrived at the table almost at the same time. I personally had a hamburger with fries, although the taste was fine, I thought it was a bit poor in terms of presentation. A table companion had a salad with grilled vegetables and that was also very tasty. I didn't think it was very special, which is why I think it's a bit on the pricey side. The view with all the boats is very nice.

The food was really inedible, tough old meat and fish could hardly be removed from the bone. Before serving, stand under a heat lamp for at least 10 minutes, which dries out even the vegetables completely. Staff was friendly and resolved the issue neatly. But it was extremely disappointing.

Not cooked properly (loosened during cooking) when the service indicates this to the kitchen, the cook says that it is done... such a shame that the cook does not simply say that it is indeed not good Not fun for the colleague and certainly not for me as a guest. Once the chef understands how it works, he will come to the table himself... But no, then he could have explained it to me... Prices don't lie, so the price-quality ratio is not in proportion to this Service very friendly.

We had made a reservation for 6 p.m. on Sunday for 6 people (+ 4 little ones). There were only a few tables occupied in the restaurant. After waiting 30 minutes, someone came to take the order. They forgot to come over for drinks. 1x drinking wrong - 1x eating wrong. Food came after 1 hour. The spaghetti buratta was again lukewarm. Other plates were warm, but the food on them was a bit lukewarm. We didn't even start with dessert and coffee. There was a staff shortage and supplementation with temporary workers. Tip: make the card a lot smaller and be clear when taking orders. If you don't have good staff, it's better not to open.

We regularly visited Zuiderzoet under the previous owner... it was always great with super tasty food and professional service. A very disappointing experience for us under the new owner. I find the price/quality disproportionate, very small carpaccio for the main price, service not experienced and professional. An empty beer glass was simply taken away without asking if you wanted another one. The restaurant was also very empty, why are you put so close to other people. So many empty places. I also find it very crammed with chairs and tables. In summary… for us this was a disappointing experience, with mediocre food and unprofessional staff. So we won't call it recommended.

Celebrated my daughter's 21st dinner with the family at ZuiderZoet. This was fantastic. We couldn't have made a better choice. Delicious food, nice staff and a nice ambiance.

The service rose one star because a gentleman took the trouble to follow up on things we had complaints about. That's commendable, other than that people walked around like headless chickens and let him do everything. There were also people behind the bar who literally had something in their hands once. They initially radiate flair and quality, but they only half live up to that. We were proven right about a lot of things (which were not our concern). But when we said that a lady said that she was new (in English) and said that they were all freelancers... and we were surprised. She thought “it will be fine”. The gentleman gave us a free glass of wine. Very nice. But when my mother wanted earl gray tea... it wasn't there. So the questions are simple but the answers are complicated. So if you radiate something and you can't make it happen... don't do it! The chefs have done a good job, but the staff has a lot to learn. But if you work freelance in a catering establishment, your heart is not in it! At least not with these people. Sorry but not again unfortunately.

In potentie een mooi restaurant maar wat een teleurstelling! We verblijven een weekend bij center Parcs de Eemhof. Vanwege de recensies en de veelbelovende menukaart waren veelbelovend. De bestelde fles wijs werd op tafel gekwakt. Proeven en eerste glas inschenken hoorde er blijkbaar niet bij. We bestelden een verrassingsplank met z’n tweeën als voorgerecht. Ook dit werd zonder uitleg op tafel gezet. We zijn zelf maar op onderzoek uit gegaan via de menukaart online want uitleg kregen we niet. Hoofdgerecht was smaakloos en de champignonsaus was saus waarvan we de smaak niet konden thuisbrengen. Dessert hebben we maar overgeslagen. Ik snap dat je jeugd in de bediening wilt hebben staan om de kosten te drukken maar zorg dat wel dat je mensen aanneemt die affiniteit hebben met horeca. Zonde!

Nicely renovated, it's a pity that the decoration is cold. No table pieces/menu or other decoration on the tables looks bare/cold. This makes it very lacking in atmosphere...shame!

This was a mixed experience for us. The starter (surprise menu) was more than excellent! The hummus in particular was very tasty. We thought the sushi was a little less, but otherwise tasty. The main courses were unfortunately a disappointment. The steak was clearly not fresh (dry and tough) and not well seasoned. The Thai beef salad is not a salad, but a mix of stir-fried vegetables (including pak choi) topped with a very salty soy sauce. Not the fresh fresh taste as you would expect from Thai cuisine. The prawns were not prepared properly and were inedible (I had to partially remove the intestinal tract myself). Unfortunately the beef strips were also not tasty and tasted like cheap beef. Definitely not what you expect for the price. Fortunately, the side dishes were tasty and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The food was decent - a bit plain in the sense that if you order the hamburger you get exactly that (with fries - which were thick but also a bit limp). We had a delicious meal at Brasserie Zuiderzoet, the staff is friendly and helpful and the restaurant looks beautiful (it has recently been renovated and is definitely worth a visit!). The food tasted fantastic and was beautifully prepared, and for reasonable prices on the menu. This was certainly not our last visit. Thank you to the team for a great evening and see you next time!

Reasonably high prices, and the food was fine (but not really worth the prices), but the service left a lot to be desired. Ordered sushi as a starter, which was served without chopsticks and soy sauce, and with less sushi than it should have. It was also not really special sushi, and that at €16 for 10 pieces. When we raised this issue, I was given disposable chopsticks, a bottle of soy sauce (initially without a container) and an obviously quickly thrown together piece of sushi. With another entree, the waiter couldn't tell what it was. Asking questions was also sometimes difficult because there was a slow or no response to raised hands or looks, while half of the evening there was a group of waiters doing nothing at the bar (the other half they seemed to be walking back and forth in panic. ). Often they saw it, but waited until the person assigned to our table was available again to report it, instead of coming to help us themselves. Later it was still unclear whether a hamburger was the vegetarian version, which was identified by the fact that the burger was a lot smaller than the regular hamburger, so whether we could take the burger apart. In the end the burger was quite tough. Wine was carried under the arm (which, of course, warms it).

It was far from busy, so we were allowed to choose a table ourselves. After about ten minutes the card comes and the question "what would you like to drink?" I chose two glasses of cava. After a while, the lady in question came to tell us that the cava was served by the bottle, but that there was prosecco by the glass. No problem, so two prosecco. Then "were you able to make a choice?". Certainly, sole and spaghetti. After more than twenty minutes (!) the lady comes to tell us that the supplier only delivers fish after four o'clock in the afternoon and that the pasta is also not available. "We're actually not opening until tomorrow." So we just left. Why does such a company accept a reservation if there is hardly anything available and they are not actually open?

Good food, great and Kind personal in a nice Spot. Can only recommend (Picture is the burger but asked for with 2 patties - if u order that be aware a 2cnd patty cost quiet a lot extra but from my experience it is worth it)

Enjoy a few days at Center Parc, but it is better to sit down here rather than at one of the restaurants in the park itself. Delicious with the family and our little man ordered a starter and main course. The little man completely enjoyed his tomato soup and his main course + that of his mother. For us, that is easily the standard of 5 stars. We also thought the food was very good and the service very friendly! Highly recommended if you are staying in Centerparc. Oh, yeah. At least they serve decent lager here instead of Bavaria :)
