Served a bad/stale sundried tomatoes. It was in my grilled vegetables sandwich. I have always liked this place & visited it several times. I even helped waitress with the order(happily)- as she forgot to offer the choice of bread and forgot to serve the side dip with the dish. First bite felt off, but I ended up eating half. Then I felt worse, smelled tomatoes and yuk! Complaint to the waitress, she took back the sandwich removed tomatoes and got the same half half sandwich back!!!!! It was so disrespectful and careless, bad food contains bacteria (specifically pickled ones like sundried tomatoes) it touched my food- you cannot just remove it!!! Then I went to the counter explained to 3 more people, no body understood or acknowledged. Finally they called the manager before making the payment and he nicely checked, acknowledged it was bad and apologised for it. Even told me to call them if I feel too sick. So extra star for service for him!

The salmon toast was delicious! All the ingredients were super fresh. The portion size on the sandwich was also ideal. The staff are very sweet, which creates a pleasant impression and, above all, a sense of reassurance while you enjoy the tasty food (or drink, or both).

We enjoyed the Caprese sandwich and Avocado Toast. Both were tasty and beautifully presented. The gluten free roll was seeded and soft. We shared the sweet potato fries, served with truffle aioli and parm. Yum! There is indoor (slightly tight) and outdoor seating.

Parisa, Sara, Dewi, Lotte, all 4 ladies provided incredibly good service and the sandwich was incredibly delicious.

My favourite spot in Eindhoven for coffee and brunch/lunch!

Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. It took a long time for them to take our order; eventually, we had to ask them to do so ourselves. After that, it took about another hour for just two lunch dishes. The chocolate bowl contained a lot of ice cubes. We didn't find the banana bread particularly special either. The banana bread costs €4.50 on its own, and for an extra €10, you get cream and some fruit with it. For us, it wasn't really value for money. You can get better food at the neighbors' place, and they are faster...

I highly recommend their banana bread!!!!! I hesitated for a moment because of the price, but the whole presentation makes it SO worth it; the mascarpone cream was delicious and the fruit selection looked beautiful too. Of course, the banana bread itself was also very tasty. The hojicha was excellent and not overpoweringly sweet or spicy, which they sometimes do at some places. The staff is very friendly and I would definitely come back more often if I lived in the neighborhood :)

Amazing, fresh and delicious brunch place in Eindhoven centrum. Very surprised for the unique items in their menu, not making it “too exotic” but also not just another breakfast place in Eindhoven. We ordered the crispy chili omelette paratha, and wow!! Not only delicious but very generous portions, and very unique in taste. The drinks were also a nice size and kept us entertained during the whole brunch. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff is super lovely. Please mind, it won’t be as fast as other places, but I did take a look at their open kitchen and everything is made in the moment with a few ingredients previously prepped so this can guarantee a made-from-scratch meal. I recommend it 100%

The breakfast and coffee were both very good and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly but quite young, and service felt a little inattentive. It would be great if they were a bit more proactive in checking on guests, as in our case we really had to make an effort to get their attention.

Had a lovely lunch here with my two daughters. The food was fresh, delicious, and more than enough. Very friendly staff with good service. We will definitely come back again. If they had had good air conditioning inside, the ambiance would have been 5 stars as well.

We ate at Moka yesterday. I had the chicken teriyaki, which was delicious, and my wife had the new paratha, Crispy Chili Omelet with sweet and sour coleslaw, avocado, and sriracha; it was delicious! The iced lattes are also highly recommended. We will definitely be back here!

We came here with our dog, we sit inside; nothing went wrong. Then second time we waited for a table, with our dog. One waiter said the table will be ready, she apperantly saw our dog. When the table is emptied they told us that we cannot come in with our dog?! I am waiting for a table with a dog, last time my dog was accpted inside, then they suddenly say no?! what a disrespecrful place.

Cosy vibe, nice drinks. However after finishing a tea with a friend, we were waiting for a torrential downpour to finish when we were asked to leave our table for other people and were kicked out into the storm. I couldn’t believe it, especially since it was supposed to stop in only a few minutes. Will never go again.

We ordered refreshing, cold drinks and a delicious charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was adapted to our dietary requirements (halal). Great service, thanks for thinking along! Delicious breakfast platter for my birthday! Everything was equally tasty and fresh. Definitely not the standard breakfast with a slice of cheese and ham, but scrambled eggs, salmon, hummus, burrata, a perfect croissant, and much more. More than enough too, and friendly staff. And the menu offers many more tasty dishes. In short, highly recommended!

Visited for the first time today, had a delicious meal, and received excellent service from the friendly staff—truly amazing service. It is definitely highly recommended, and the chicken is halal too. I will certainly be back! It was also a very beautiful spot, nicely decorated. Furthermore, it was very affordable, definitely worth the money.

My girlfriend and I had chicken rolls from this cafe. We eventually had stomach issues for 2 or 3 days. There was definitely something off with the chicken. Edit: The owner below is lying about not selling chicken rolls to deflect the review instead of owning up to the responsibility for serving unhygienic food. The chicken rolls are on the menu (as shown in the website) and I would avoid them if I were you unless you want to spend the full day at the toilet..

Go here and not next door to the "Happiness Cafe" if there is some love for freedom left in you. At least here at the Moka they still accept cash as payment. Also very fresh and great smoothie.

My daughter picked out this restaurant, so we just had to go! We started with a delicious coffee and then both went for the breakfast platter. Available to order from 2 people. Wow, that was delicious! Everything was tasty. And so much of it! So much that the two of us couldn't finish it, but we were given the leftovers to take home. Highly recommended!!

We recently visited Moka, and overall it was a pleasant experience. It’s a really nice and cozy place with a warm atmosphere. The food was good and the portions were huge , definitely great value for money. You won’t leave hungry 😊 The staff is friendly and polite, which we appreciated. However, I can’t quite give it 5 stars, and the reason is simple: the service flow needs improvement. Orders take quite a long time to arrive, and clearing the tables from previous guests also takes much longer than it should. The waitresses walk around often, but they don’t always seem to scan the room to see what needs to be picked up. It happened several times that staff brought something to a table and walked away empty-handed, even though there were empty glasses and plates clearly visible. The toilets could also use a bit more attention, there were no paper available during our visit. That said, it’s still a nice and cozy spot, and I would come back. With a bit more focus on service efficiency and small details, it could easily be a 5-star place.

Italian toast was insanely good

We went in for breakfast; there was a free table with no chairs. The few free chairs were all occupied by people's coats, and yet they still told us we had to wait and that there was nothing they could do. Disgraceful.

First visit: a long wait and a dirty table left over from the previous guests. The chai latte was cold, and the powder was undissolved at the bottom of the glass. Despite all this, I gave the restaurant a second chance. Unfortunately, lunch took over an hour this time. The table was dirty again upon arrival; it wasn't cleaned until about 15 minutes later, and only then was my order taken. The chai latte wasn't mixed properly again, with powder at the bottom. I also received the wrong lunch. This was my last visit. The staff seemed unfriendly and incompetent.

The cappuccino was good, beautifully creamy, and I had a delicious lunch. The seasonal special with pumpkin was also available on flatbread instead of a roll, which was fantastic! Coffee and tea come with a small brownie (without nuts – they appreciate it), which is also very tasty. The only downside was that we had to wait quite a while for our drinks.

Very cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. The food is decent (would say is above average). The seasonal pancake is more like the American style pancakes. However, the latte macchiato tasted like it is made from instant coffee powder.

For a newly opened place, it felt a bit careless. I expected a cleaner, more polished atmosphere. The taste was okay, but overall it didn’t fully meet my expectations and could use more attention to detail.

I wouldn't spend a cent here if I were you. After eating the salmon Stockholm sandwich, I immediately felt unwell. The sandwich itself was just okay, but the consequences of my decision to have lunch here are still haunting my digestive system and toilet. They should manage this place better and keep it clean to prevent these kinds of experiences. I'm definitely staying far away from this "place."

I have already tried everything on the lunch menu, and I can tell you that I really enjoyed testing it! Yesterday I had a delicious salad with pesto, parmesan and burrata. Super fresh and tasty! The day before yesterday I ate a salad of grilled vegetables, with some kind of tomato tapenade or something like that and hummus. It was excellent served with tested (sour)dough bread. Previously, I always went to one of the neighbors for my regular sandwich with toppings, but now I prefer to choose the 'old cheese' from Brood2day. Delicious with a pickle and a cooked onion, among other things. I can't wait to test the rest of the new menu, I heard that the menu/lunch will be adjusted even further. The owner and his partner/girlfriend have taken over the business since October. I used to come here regularly with my mother, for example. The staff is extremely friendly and the young people (in the kitchen) work very hard! Definitely worth it, with a wide range and many variations. The prices are excellent for the top quality of all products and the super fresh preparations.
