Phew, it has become so bad. It used to be nice and cozy. Now grumpy heads and very mediocre roti. Too bad

Got a chicken curry sandwich, it was cold and tasteless. Service was fast though. Wouldn't recommend this place unless you need a sandwich quickly and happen to be in this place.

If you're incredibly hungry, want a quick meal, and an "okay" sandwich will do, this is your place. If you can't tolerate unsociable service and grumpy faces, you should definitely avoid this place.

Today we ordered two long beans sandwiches with shrimp. We had to wait a while, and when we got the sandwiches, we were casually told that the long beans were gone and there was only shrimp on the sandwich. The service was very rude, and we were told to leave. He didn't seem to care about checking if it was okay for us. He simply walked away. Never again.

Such a dirty service, I ordered roti wrap, and the roti was not cooked well. You could feel the dough in your mouth when you chew.

Well, I regularly stop by and would like to order something, but reading all the reviews, it always comes back to service, something I find very important. And all the annoyances on this point, and they haven't even mentioned the food, that says something!

(I come here regularly by the way) and the ladies you are talking about, I can always laugh with and are not as I describe…. During this “incident” I happened to be in the store too… and they did indeed call out 3 times what the order was and what it was… you were with a group there and I myself had the impression that you were more concerned with yourselves than with the order… and the discussion about pepper and sambal I can also agree with what the staff means… there is indeed a difference… you should know that… All in all people, don’t let these reviews drive you crazy, just come and experience the atmosphere there for yourself… I am not scared by it anyway… Keep up the good work gentlemen and ladies of Brood van s Gravenhage!!! Just to be clear! Look at that rude comment on my review! I'm scrolling through the reviews and I definitely see that there's more feedback about the service! I'd say take a course on how to be friendly to customers. Because even if someone doesn't understand something, you don't have to explain it in a tone of voice. You can just bark at random customers who are also making you money! That's how you make your living! Like, kiddo, behave! That man who works there is really friendly! I'd say watch and learn! From what I've read, you always do well, and the customer is always wrong. So, I'd say point your fingers at yourself first! That tall woman took the order wrong, and then my colleague had to wait over 30 minutes. Then there was a whole argument about pepper and sambal. The food is good, but those women who work there are really grumpy! If you don't want to work, do something else, but it's not pleasant at all to order anything there! Because of the service, I won't go there again.

Tasty sandwiches and delicious baras. Compliments for that. Unfortunately, some employees are very rude, ill-mannered and too fierce towards customers. That's not how you treat people, is it? Why do they act like this? And if a customer makes a mistake with bara and a roti roll, that can happen. People are not perfect. Then you can also speak to someone decently with kindness and a small smile. I understand that it is sometimes very busy. Full understanding for that. The food was super tasty, in all the years I've been coming there I've never had anything to complain about, the food is always fresh and the staff is friendly and you don't have to wait long for your food. Would recommend this business to everyone. TOP

In all honesty, I have to admit that I cannot say anything about the food, but when I look up a Surinamese restaurant in The Hague via Google on Friday, find this location and it says that it is open on Saturday, I do not expect a closed restaurant upon arrival. to stand at the door.

Good sandwiches and roti roll, but not the best I know. Hot chicken can have a much richer taste. Delicious spicy sambal!

Lekkerste broodje pom van den haag

Lekkere Surinaamse broodjes, dichtbij Den Haag Centraal en in tegenstelling tot de klachten hier was het personeel aardig toen ik hun zaak bezocht. Zaak is simpel ingericht en oogt schoon. Ruime keuzes aan broodjes (een aantal vegetarisch), warme maaltijden en een aantal exclusieve Surinaamse gerechten.

Lekkere broodjes en makkelijk gelegen bij het Centraal station, bediening is vriendelijk, soms moet je tijdens lunchperiodec, maar dat is het zeker waard, Kousenband met garnalen is een aanrader!

Lekkere broodjes, maar helaas chagrijnig personeel. Na de reguliere lunchtijd zijn ze niet erg behulpzaam. Met mijn briefje van 10 kon ik niets en ik moest maar uitzoeken hoe ik moest betalen. Een tot ziens kan er niet van af. Typische houding van personeel en klant zijn gelijk, in plaats van klant is koning. Om zelf het goede voorbeeld te geven, geef ik het voordeel van de twijfel. Dus alsnog 3 sterren.

Blijft fijn dat er goeie suri broodjes beschikbaar zijn. Doe mij maar bakkeljauw en dynamite met alles erop en eraan!
