Nice place, and very nice staff. The food was a bit lukewarm and the eggs benedict were a little disappointing (tasty, but not super special). It's a small place so it's noisy, so you shouldn't find that annoying.

Delicious brunch. The eggs benedict with salmon is highly recommended. A nice glass of white wine and a nice table by the window. Nice guy at the counter which completed the picture.

The food was tasty, not super special. Thought it was super small and super expensive for what you got, you weren't full afterwards. Atmosphere was especially busy and cramped. I won't be there anymore.

The overpriced food was a large disappointment. Food (including steak) was served unexplainably cold. Poached egg and asparagus were also cold. Bread unimpressive and somewhat sweet, which did not combine well with the dish in combination with a poor mayonese. Avocado in other dish was old and black, did not seem fresh. Unclear if food has been cooked at the moment or even re-heated at all. Enquiring with the waitress, after some deliberation with another person, I was asked if I could be offered a coffee which I have refused. In aftermath, I shall have gave back the dishes and refuse to pay a bill of 50+ euros. Service was OK and kind enough, but food experience quite unforgivable. Seems like kitchen was understuffed as well, at least when we came in.

What an incredibly nice brunch spot! Delicious dishes, incredibly sweet service and great interior. This time I did not choose the champagne brunch, so I will definitely come back for that. Reservations are recommended ;) Update 11/2024 - a baby shower organized here for 15 people. Communication went smoothly, the food was delicious and the staff were nice. Absolutely successful!

My friends surprised me to have my bachelorette brunch here on a Sunday morning. We were a group of 16 people and they had communicated our reservation in advance with the request for decoration. This is something they promote themselves on their website! We arrived at the agreed time and she informed us that our table was not ready yet. We waited 20 minutes, then we came in and again no preparation had been made. Tables still had to be pushed together, nothing was covered. It honestly took more than 60 minutes to pour the first drink. We had the formula for champagne breakfast with some non alcoholic ones. These were not in stock.. they searched the cellar for a long time (30 minutes!!) for these bottles. In vain... unfortunately the manager did not see that this might need to be compensated. The service was non-existent, it seemed like they had given up on our table. They absolutely didn't look back at our table... Unfortunately, it could have been a nice end to my unforgettable bachelorette weekend. I hope others don't have to go through this..

First of all, what nice and cheerful people! We sat on the terrace on this sunny Sunday so it was quite full. Even though we had to wait a while, we had a delicious meal and were well served. You will definitely see me here more often!

We ordered the champagne brunch. This was new on the menu. Apparently that also means that they don't know how to make it. After 1.5 hours we only received half of the food. The owner then decided to give a meager 5 euro discount on a bill of 70 euros. If you indicate that a person has a gluten allergy, they will go completely crazy and they will no longer know what to do. For 30 euros per person you receive a total of half a French toast, 1 small gluten-free roll and an Acai bowl that we did not order. After clearly expressing our dissatisfaction, we were offered to give 1 of the 2 croissants that belonged to the champagne brunch and for which we had already been waiting half an hour. However, we were not confident that this croissant would be baked before closing time. Save yourself half a Saturday and choose another brunch place. EDIT after response Brunch Bar Rotterdam: Annoying to read that there was also a miscommunication between the staff/kitchen/manager. To replace the croissant, it was indeed suggested that we take an Acai bowl, but we quickly indicated that this was not preferable. As a surprise, we discussed a gluten-free sandwich with an egg and avocado. When an Acai bowl was brought, we immediately alerted the waitress. When you say that - except for the croissant - all other parts of the champagne brunch menu have been delivered, you are missing the point. The champagne brunch was ordered for 2 people, 1 of whom eats gluten-free. As you indicate, this includes 3 ingredients: French toast, croissant and brioche with salmon. We received 3 plates with 1 French toast, 1 acai bowl and 1 small gluten-free sandwich split with one part avocado and one part salmon. So missing: 1 croissant and the brioche with salmon (non-gluten-free). As you indicate, you have many gluten-free options. So the argument that switching to gluten-free options has led to delays is moot. Also inimitable is the discount of only 5 euros (which partly led to the surprise of the waitress) followed by an evasive answer to my review in which again no responsibility was taken for this bad experience.

Amazing and cool spot for brunch! We had eggs benedict and avocado sandwich and coffee. Both highly recommend. The service here was also very good.

Good place to eat, the menu is appetizing and the dishes are well done and generous. The only downside is the wait and the service (1 hour for 4 dishes live). The service could become more efficient with less unwanted movement and more organization I think (for example straightening a table in one go instead of 4 passes). Good drinks and good cocktails. Also watch out for the hair on the plates 😉

Had a nice breakfast alone at this place. Got the egg Benedict classic and a cappuccino. The coffee was lovey, as well as the food. The staff was very friendly and the food got delivered quickly. The place filled up quickly after 10, and seemed to be very popular due to the fact some tables were already reserved. Would recommend this place to someone who’s willing to spend a bit of money on a fancy breakfast with a lot of drink options.

Super nice brunch bar, intimate atmosphere, delicious dishes (and affordable) and the staff understands what service is. The indoor tables and outdoor terrace are cozy. It is often busy on weekends, so it is better to make a reservation.

Very nice place with nice terrace in good weather. Toast with delicious salmon eggs benedict. Divine matcha latte. The croissant is delicious. Champagne brunch for €30 per person. Varied menu. Everything was delicious but service a little slow. This won't stop us from going back.

Klein smal zaakje en buiten een relatief groot terras. Gezellige warme inrichting. De bediende dames werken hard en zijn heel vriendelijk. Goede koffie en lekkere verse sinaasappelsap. Kwaliteit van het eten is goed en ook de smaak is erg lekker. Helaas is de akoestiek in deze smalle zaak niet helemaal op orde. Als er meerdere mensen/groepjes ( op een normaal geluidsniveau) aan het praten zijn, dan is het erg lastig om elkaar te verstaan. Een relatief kleine investering in bijv. akoestische panelen zou daar een positieve verandering in kunnen betekenen. Lijkt me ook fijn voor het personeel zelf. Voor de rest enkel positief en we komen hier in de toekomst graag nog eens lunchen of brunchen.

This is an instagram place with only the looks. We waited so long for everything... to order, to have a clean table and to receive the food. The gyosa was a average to tasteless, the tuna tataki is a "lunch", but they serve it with a single thin slice of hard toasted bread and the taste was average (fish was good). How can you serve a single thin slice of toast in a lunch dish? That was a really bad experience and foe the price you pay, you expect a faster service and a better an mkre food... instagram trap. Bleh

Here’s the thing. It doesn’t matter how good the food is because 45 minutes after you ordered, you’re hangry. And the food, well it’s fine nothing great…but I’m hangry at this point so not a totally reliable judge. ;-)

We ordered a spicy chicken burger and eggs benedict. The eggs benedict were OK (nothing too crazy) but the chicken burger was underwhelming. The burger itself only covered around 30% of the bun. Wouldn’t go there again.

Perfect place for a nice lunch in the sun! They have tasty gluten-free options and are happy to discuss dietary preferences. Even though we were a large group (14 people), all dishes arrived at the same time. My tuna tatiki was delicious, but the burger and eggs benedict also looked great. The icing on the cake is a cheerful and hospitable owner! All in all highly recommended - we will be back :)

Nice place, nice menu, but the execution could really be a lot better in many areas. The egg benedict ham and cheese was on a soggy piece of white bread (toasted would be better) and was served so quickly (lukewarm) that it was probably prepared at an earlier stage. A slice of ham and cheese straight from the cheapest pre-packed shelves at AH was placed on it and the egg was snotty. This could really be a lot better. The homemade ice tea was tasteless, almost like flavored water. You expect cappuccino in a nice big cup with perfect foam, but you got a small cup with a pre-packed cookie like you used to get in the station restaurant. According to my dining companion, the acai bowl had a reasonable taste, but could have been a bit more. All in all tent with potential, but in our view the dot must be crossed in almost all areas.

Very overrated. Eggs Benedict was tasteless and they forget to add Spinach or the fruits to the French Toast. Would recommend for a coffee and for the vibe, it’s a very cute spot.

Very nice location on the edge of Rotterdam center. Wonderful to sit on the terrace and enjoy the sun while having a snack! Croissant with pudding & strawberry, (small) fresh orange juice & a FLORA tea. Total amount was €16.75. On the pricey side. Nice tea experience (fresh flower tea - awakened in special tea wine glass). You pay €6.50 for this tea experience. Fortunately it was all tasty and good. Friendly lady. It was her first day but she helped us a lot!

Brunch Bar Rotterdam is a very nice place for a coffee, a good lunch or an extensive champagne breakfast. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service friendly and the dishes are delicious. If the sun also comes out on the terrace, it's a real party! We will definitely come back.

🇪🇸We came in by chance because an incredible rainstorm hit us and in theory it was no longer time to eat. The place was completely empty and yet, they welcomed us with drafts of water and treated us phenomenally. The quality of the food was amazing. We were also able to charge our phones 📲

A 5-star rating is really not enough! What a wonderful place to have brunch. The weather was warm enough to dine outside and enjoy the view, including that of the Zalmtoren, the tallest building in the city. I chose Bussing Landbrood Steak and Pink Flamingo cocktail. Wow! Both were fantastic!!! If you are (or live) in Rotterdam, a visit is really a must. Highly recommended....and oh yes, an extra star for the friendliest and most wonderful owner and staff. Had a very delicious meal both times! Among the many brunch spots in Rotterdam, everything tastes super fresh here. Very friendly staff and very cute furnishings.

Charging 0.25€ for a tiny glass of tap water seems to me unacceptable. When inquiring the waitress, she said ‘if we give it for free then people don’t get anything else’. Really? This is the last show of greed. Also 0.35€ extra for ordering oat milk with your coffee. This should not incur on any extra charge. For the rest, food and service are good.

They have all kinds of different flora teas, unfortunately some flora teas sell out very quickly so couldn’t try the ones I really wanted to try, but the waiter recommended another flora teas which was good for health. The lunch menu contains a lot of delicious choices so we tried several dishes. So happy that they use French sweet brioche as toast or sandwiches, so delicious. They have nice seatings outside and friendly staff.

We had a short breakfast in here. The personal is very friendly and can speak and understand english fluently. The ambient is very comfy and wouldn't it be in the mids of december, it would have been the perfect outside table. You should reserve a table inside before hand. The dishes and drinks were perfectly fine as you imagined it from the menu and we were fully satisfied. At all I think the 5☆ rating is very aprochiated.

To be honest, we don’t really understand all the 5 star reviews? It was really quite expensive for a very small amount of food, the quality wasn’t adequate for the price (if you compare it to other brunch bars in Rotterdam) and the menu was very heavy on the fish/meat side. Example: they charge you a 2 euro fee for adding 1/8th of an avocado. That would make one avocado cost €16, lol. Anyways the people working there were really nice and the place looks good, so that’s a win. We also enjoyed the coffee!

Vandaag een champagne brunch voor een verjaardag gevierd. Gezellig tafel met leuke balonnen versierd. De hapjes waren mooi opgemaakt en waren heerlijk. Vegan optie met een acaibowl is mogelijk. Hele vriendelijke bediening. Zeker een aanrader, wij willen iedereen van het personeel bedanken. Wij komen hier zeker terug voor een heerlijke lunch.

Been here twice for brunch because I love the restaurant aesthetic and cosy atmosphere. Ordered the french toast, pancakes, and eggs benedict on toast which all tasted really good! Especially the french toast, it was super soft and fresh. I especially love the rose lemonade drink - something I can't seem to find anywhere else! Definitely recommend a visit for a special occasion or a cute date.
