Excellent buffet restaurant. We stayed at the Safari Hotel over Christmas. Breakfast had a wide selection and was delicious! On Christmas Day, we had a dinner buffet. Lots of drinks included. We had three rounds of drinks. The selection was delicious, and there was also a wide selection of desserts!

Beekse Bergen breakfast buffet: the selection is okay, but the staff and service are very disappointing, especially considering we're staying overnight at a park (expensive) with kids. We wanted a croissant because our 5-year-old doesn't eat much (we had it fifteen minutes before the buffet closed), and it was taken away because it wasn't allowed. So they'd rather throw fresh food in the trash than do anyone a favor. A rather sad atmosphere.

Mediocre buffet, plenty of choice, but not particularly tasty. You have to eat quickly, as you only have an hour and a half. We were there from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with the last drink at 6:15 PM. Children pay €25.00, while our grandchildren had three chicken nuggets, a few fries, one drink, and a dessert—it was way too pricey.

€142.50 for two adults and my 2-year-old daughter. No question about age, just charged the adult price. The food was mediocre. There's better food in the city!

We were invited by our friends who were staying here for a week. I don't think I've ever eaten so poorly, and for such an outrageous price. Everything tastes the same; nothing is fresh. I wouldn't recommend anyone to eat here.

We let the others go first. A group of 75 people were having a drink at the bar. So we went in at our leisure. We didn't know that after just half an hour they would announce that the buffet would close in fifteen minutes. The desserts were gone. Haha. People came from the buffet with three plates of desserts. We paid €48.50 per person and €25 for one child. INCREDIBLE.

The food is indeed very mediocre. Tasteless and tough. The service was friendly despite the hard work. The dessert buffet was fine, though, so it still deserves three stars. The kids liked the buffet concept.

A wide selection. A children's paradise. Service was quick and the food was delicious and hot. I would recommend it. I often eat much worse these days.

We booked a buffet restaurant at 7:00 PM. When we arrived, it was incredibly busy and we had to wait a long time to be let in. Finally, at 7:20 PM, we were at our table! The first round of drinks was ordered while we were walking to the restaurant, so we didn't get our drinks until the second round. Not very convenient or pleasant. The food itself was good, tasted good, and was presented well. They also replenished it regularly when it ran out. The only downside was that the buffet closes promptly at 8:30 PM! This meant we only had an hour to eat because of the hassle of getting in. We also wanted a drink, but from 8:00 PM onward, the waitstaff was completely gone. When I went to the bar to ask for a coke, I was told that the last round had already been ordered. I explained that they hadn't been with us, and they did bring me my drink. All in all, I think €47.50 is very overcharged for the way it's presented. The buffet is open too short, and they don't offer enough drinks. It's a real shame; relaxing with your vacation companions is definitely not an option here!

The prices are absurd for what you get; everything tastes way too salty and resembles ready-made meals. The cost for an adult is almost €50, but it should never have been more than €28. Children under 12 are €28, which should never have been more than €14. The food selection is very limited: a few pasta dishes, two fish dishes, and the usual bread, fries, and frikandellen. I'm very disappointed. I've eaten at many other buffet restaurants, and the quality is always better for less money. Yes, drinks are included, but only upon request, so that can take a while.

The restaurant was spacious enough. Reservations are recommended. Good selection. Although I didn't really find the live cooking to be live cooking. Everything was already in the containers and not cooked to your request. But that didn't spoil the fun. Lots of pasta...not much variety in meat. One fish dish. Delicious carpaccio. And otherwise, something for everyone. A large selection of desserts, and ice cream for the last half hour of your round.

Very expensive for the quality they offer; half the food is fast food, the other half frozen or canned. As a family with three children, I wouldn't have a problem with that, but not for that price! I drank two beers, and apparently, they weren't included (other drinks were). This wasn't mentioned, and there weren't any prices on the menu either; it seems intentional. The dining area is a nice place to sit. However, you can find much better quality and cheaper food in Tilburg and the surrounding area.

Delicious food, very varied buffet (hot, cold, pasta, meat, fish, fries, rice, potatoes, etc.). Much better than I expected based on the reviews. I would definitely recommend it.

I think the average score is unfair; they've made some improvements since then. The concept has been changed to a buffet including drinks. €47.50 all-in is quite acceptable for a holiday park. They often came to ask for drinks. Some of the food was a bit dry because they kept it warm. Everything was replenished promptly. The ribs and shrimp were deliciously tender. Plenty of choice. The children already find the clearing robots a real experience.

Please note! Only the house wine and beer are included in the dinner price! This isn't stated anywhere on the website, and neither the person who greeted us, showed us to our table, nor the person who took our drinks order didn't tell us in the restaurant itself. After our dinner, we simply went outside and received a call afterward saying we had to pay an additional 30 euros because we'd ordered a few beers from the beer menu, which was prominently displayed on the table. The next day, we were asked to pay the bill at breakfast, and the very friendly woman at the counter also found it very inconvenient. She apologized repeatedly for her colleagues and explained that there are many temporary workers working, which sometimes leads to problems. However, we weren't the only ones, as the people behind us had the same problem and were even charged over 110 euros. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars is because we received a call after our meal saying we had to pay an additional 30 euros because we had apparently ordered drinks that weren't included in the price! The restaurant itself is very cozy. Thanks to the large windows, you have a good view of the animals and plenty of natural light. There was plenty of choice for both breakfast and dinner. There was definitely something for everyone. In terms of quality, it's still a family buffet in a hotel, of course. The food was all delicious and hot. The kitchen staff was very friendly. The man frying the eggs in the morning even offered to bring them to our table when they were ready because they had run out at the buffet. The evening waitstaff, however, is a different story... Most of them don't speak Dutch, which wasn't a problem for us, but for some other guests, it proved difficult to communicate when taking drinks orders. You also had to shout every time you wanted to order more drinks; no one came by to ask if everything was alright or if we wanted to order more.

The food was served buffet style and was delicious. There was a lot of variety, something for everyone. The restaurant also offered vegan cheese and plant-based butter. Plant-based milk was also available on request. The allergens were mentioned with most dishes, which gave a reassuring feeling. The staff was professional and hospitable. Unfortunately, there was no ‘live cooking’ during the four meals we ate there. For me personally, this is not a must, but the name of the restaurant did create this expectation.

During our weekend away with the family we chose this restaurant, but it was a real waste of money and a disappointment from Beekse Bergen. When we arrived we were taken to our table, but then no explanation of the concept was given or someone came to us to take our drink orders. After ten minutes we walked to someone ourselves to see if they could come to our table (and you only have 1.5 hours to sit there). Drinks were taken and then all the drinks came in stages, so you had to wait a very long time to toast. Apple juice was not included, the girl went to ask and it turned out that you had to tap it yourself at the buffet. That could have been said right away. “Life cooking” is life frying! Nothing more. The food is really not tasty, shrimps for example dry, nasi tasteless. There were pizzas that looked so disgusting. Even the children did not like it, chicken nuggets were not even eaten. And that for €47.50 per adult and €24.50 per child. For this amount, no one will come to take away the dirty plates, ask if everything is to your liking or ask if you want something to drink. In addition, the website stated when making the reservation that the buffet includes beer, wine, soft drinks, coffee and tea. It turned out that all our drinks were simply on the receipt... my mother had already paid, so we went back. The employee immediately said that we were right and that the €44.50 we had paid for the drinks was neatly refunded.

Bad restaurant, paying €38.50 for not very good food. There are 2 bottles of water on the table, 1 red and 1 blue. At the cash register you find out that you have to pay €12 for this. Said at checkout that they can indicate this at the table. Silly bastard at the cash register said that there are normally tickets at the table, but they were gone!!! All in all not recommended. They will never see us there again.

Both dinner and breakfast were very extensive and delicious. Friendly staff.

We stayed one night in the park, the location is great with views of wildlife. The price is a bit on the more expensive side compared to any other random all you can eat, but the prices at a holiday park restaurant are of course a bit higher. You have plenty of choices and the quality is sufficient, I thought the pork tenderloin was of mediocre quality and was not very tender. Plenty of choice for the children, especially with the desserts. By the way, the Live Cooking concept is hard to find, the only thing that was individually prepared live was the cotton candy. Breakfast is also excellent, with enough choice for everyone.

Delicious food, sufficient selection and variety. Very friendly staff. Too bad you only got 1.5 hours, that was not clear to me in advance. Price is high also because drinks are exclusive, but the location is worth it.

Extremely mediocre to poor. Very expensive, a child of 3 will cost you 22 euros, an adult something like 40, and that doesn't include drinks. The offer is very limited. Normally you don't know what to grab per round, but here I walked around to see if there was anything I wanted. The quality of the products we had was also just bad. The only real loose meat product was chicken, and that chicken fillet was extremely dry and tasted of nothing. Just don't eat here. We also had breakfast here, this is included in our stay, it is okay, but not very extensive, the bread selection is very limited, the only rolls are Kaiser rolls, otherwise it is regular bread.

We were on the last shift, we weren't allowed in yet and they told us to stand aside because we were in the way. Once we were allowed in, we were already five minutes late because they had too much work to get it ready again. So we were in full anticipation of going to the buffet. Once we were at the buffet we could only half read what the dishes were as the plates were in urgent need of replacing. When we got back to the table, after 5 minutes we felt like leaving because we had taken fish from the buffet that was not warm, even remotely lukewarm, so in other words it was ice cold. We also had pomme de gratin, the first person also had ice cold potatoes and the second person had warm potatoes because the dish was finished. So it was clearly left over from the previous shift. There were also no heat lamps. I myself had once felt the bowl of hot food and it was also cold. In the Beerse Bergen we call live cooking, frying at the moment itself. With the dessert it was clear that pineapple was used from breakfast, which was also dried out. I know that large kitchen staples are the same as going to a restaurant, but this is not worth the hassle. I ate because I was hungry, not because I liked it. The only plus is that you can see that they have done their best to dress it up a bit

We continued to have dinner here during our stay. The staff is very friendly and the buffet is well presented. There is something for everyone. The food could have been kept a little warmer and the pizzas were extremely dry.

Price/quality is miles apart. Unfortunately, the concept of live cooking is nowhere to be found, at least not yet discovered by us. Furthermore, the food was cold quickly, had a mediocre taste, and the fish was dry. Fortunately, there was enough choice of fries and snacks for the children, and the desserts were excellent. Service was okay, and so was the atmosphere in the restaurant. It's convenient that this restaurant is located in the park, but afterwards we would have preferred to eat somewhere else.

Very mediocre buffet. Both in terms of variety and quality. While the price of this buffet is far above the average price for a buffet/all you can eat restaurant. All in all, highly recommended. If you were still hoping that the service would save the evening, that was also disappointing... the employees were unkempt and uninterested in their work (except for the boy who made the cotton candy). After our departure we were even chased because we had not paid. Which of course we would have done. €144 paid for 2 adults and 2 children aged 3 and 6… (who found the pizzas and chicken nuggets unpalatable because they were dry and burnt) I hardly ever write reviews, and I am used to prices (living in Amsterdam), but this was so bad that I decided to write a letter to warn my fellow human beings about this bad experience. Beekse Bergen itself is highly recommended. A really cool place for young children!

What a disillusionment, also for the kids. The price really isn't worth it for what it is. 36.50 from 13 years, excluding drinks for 1.5 hours! You must first wait in front of the door before your time slot arrives. That was very unclear. Then it takes so long before you can order drinks that you go to the buffet first. There were quite a few of the tastiest things on there during the evening. What kind of live cooking? I really missed fresh products like steak or salmon. There was only some boiled pork tenderloin in tasteless champion sauce, pasta that you can make better at home, meatballs, dry chicken fillet, tilapia, unpeeled prawns, and lots of fries and frikadellen. All from warming containers. For a 13 year old with autism who only eats some fries and chicken nuggets and pizza and cucumber, because everything else is too complicated, an adult price is simply charged. Which is still understandable because of age. But he can't even have cotton candy at the dessert buffet because he's 13! His sister was sweet enough to share her cotton candy with him. Staff was not very happy, bordering on grumpy and feeling like they want you to leave as quickly as possible. We expected a lot from it, and so did the children, but unfortunately this was a huge disappointment and severely overpriced.

I don't agree with the negative reviews here. Or people have learned from it and upgraded considerably. The price is on the high side, especially because drinks are not included (with the exception of tea and coffee), but more than worth it. The reservation was in blocks, so once we were assigned a spot, everything was neat and stocked. There was an enormous choice. Everything was equally tasty, but the stew, meatballs in teriyaki sauce and the larger shrimp remain my favorites. Delicious desserts... just small enough to taste a bit of everything. The cotton candy was the highlight of the evening for the Kids. Service and atmosphere completely ok. Plates were picked up quickly and they kept a close eye on whether we wanted something to drink. Our experience was great. Highly recommended for this park.

I'm always curious what people expect from a buffet restaurant at a holiday park? We had dinner there tonight with two children and had a great experience. Friendly service, tasty food in a beautiful setting. Food of a higher level than at an average other holiday park from all chains. Something for everyone. We had a great meal.

Delicious food at a buffet with plenty of options. Although the options were not very exciting, the food was very tasty and definitely worth repeating. The only downside was that only once did someone come to our table to ask if we wanted something to drink. But I can easily live with that; next time I'll just raise my hand more often. (It could also have been a snapshot.)

If the desserts are the tastiest thing on the buffet, then you know what time it is. Come on Beekse Bergen, with a little more investment in the food this should easily become a lot better. Now it was tasteless and super basic. Not recommended.

We had only read the reviews after our reservation, so we feared the worst as we are in the peak season, but everything went great! Very attractive and spacious restaurant. The food was really tasty, lots of choice and it was constantly replenished. Also very good in terms of organization. A table was designated so you don't have to worry about not finding a place for a group of seven. Certainly no “show cooking” but if you ask something they are happy to help you and with a smile! The kids especially loved the robots (which only do the heavy work 😉) and the cotton candy! 😁

Not much choice in dishes. The food itself was not bad, but also not what we expected and hoped for. We were served a glass of wine that was for such a small amount of patience that we thought it must be a mistake. When asked, a spirited lady behind the bar pointed to a line on the glass and that this was what they were allowed to serve. No dig at the staff, just something for management to consider. Plates and glasses were not removed from the tables. After the first 2 rounds of drinking (in the first half hour) no more staff were seen at the table. There was live music for the first hour with 3 men on drums. That certainly made the atmosphere good. For such a high price, we expected better.

A waste of money to eat here. I really don't mind paying a lot to eat out, but it has to be worth it. Very little choice (lots of croquettes, frikadellen, etc., but I won't eat in a restaurant for that) no live and cooking (I don't think they know what that is, but that certainly doesn't mean throwing pieces of chicken fillet in the oven) There was more no steak or anything else restaurant worthy in sight. It's better to drive past the snack bar than go here. Staff was friendly and the restaurant itself looks nice. But the price-quality ratio is completely irrelevant. It's almost theft.

Nice restaurant with great view, however service is not good. Waiters never come to you , plates are just piled on the table without any cleaning. We ordered drinks, they didn’t come, ordered again water 3 times and it never came but was counted in the bill :( Meat was raw… cook was nice enough to cook it for me again - it was not a steak, beef stew which was completely raw inside. Overall very slow service, without any desire to make it nice

Very nice location with a view of the animals. Staff are very friendly. The food is tasty, but I don't quite understand the "live cooking".. With "live cooking" I think someone cooks live for you what you want made, but here everything was ready in containers for you to grab and nothing was cooked live, which was a disappointment. Otherwise absolutely great!

It is a beautiful location and it all looks neat. But a big but... scandalous prices for little choice and variety and the quality is not good either. It's better to eat out outside the park or whip up something yourself. Really a waste of your money. The people are also friendly and helpful. 2 stars because it is a beautiful location and friendly people work there.

Breakfast is quite nice there as part of the safari hotel, but you should avoid the evening buffet. Point. Rather bad canteen, okay you can get seconds as often as you like, but that has nothing to do with taste. Simple large kitchen, price performance doesn't fit at all.

Really enjoyed it. We had a table at 5:45 PM. Everything is sufficiently available, fresh, live cooking including steak and salmon. Very extensive choice, also for children. Super dessert buffet. Steak and rendang really tasty. Our grandson, just under 2, ate for free and enjoyed it.

Very limited choice for the hefty price. No 'live cooking'. Steak is on a warming plate. Hamburgers are from the freezer like at the local sports club. Several parts of the buffet were empty, as if we got the variant for outside the holidays while the price had not been adjusted accordingly. Afterwards we are asked at the cash register whether we had enjoyed our meal, and if we give an honest answer, the response is quite fierce. In short: for this price you would be better off getting fries somewhere else! A shame, because the location is beautiful!

The food was cold and "fake". Tasted like nothing. It all seemed to have been taken straight out of the box. Very poor quality. On the other hand, you pay as if it were a luxury. 40 pp.. really way too much for this "quality". 20 minutes after we were assigned a spot, we still didn't receive a drink. Have to ask for it yourself. It was very quiet, the staff were quietly chatting with each other. Used plates will not be collected. You have to stack on your own table. Not great service at checkout. Only the word "pin?" Said. Nothing else. Very unfortunate (about the dinner and the money). Not recommended.

The food was downright bad and absolutely not worth the price. The dishes were kept warm under a red lamp but were not warm. It all didn't look appealing. Staff is friendly and the restaurant itself looks nice and cozy.

Very mediocre buffet restaurant and even downright scandalous towards children. Booking at 7pm and what was left were dried out leftovers that were only refilled sparingly. Very little choice. Desserts were supermarket rubbish. And nothing for children at all.... We would have been happy even with a rocket ice cream. Worth max 20 euros.

Mediocre food and way too expensive. Steak very tough, better take it away. Even paying €19.50 for a 3 year old child is really absurd, they can't even get an ice cream. There are better alternatives in the park.

Bad. 7pm at the table (couldn't be done earlier as the room was empty), food was cold and had been there for a while. Only fries, croquette and buffers were always replenished. The rest just stirred. Lots of 'ready-to-eat' food, little fresh. The plates on which the serving spoons were placed had been there for a while (caked food). Choice limited. At 7.10 pm no more steak was available, apparently it was gone. Only dried out cold chicken. Received a drink as a compensation. But paid way too much money with 12 people! Not recommended!

I don't understand the negative experiences. I am critical of food and this was a really good buffet. There was a wide choice of starters, main courses and desserts of excellent quality and taste. Everything was also replenished in a timely manner. Of course tastes may differ, but there really was something for everyone. The space and view are beautiful and the service is friendly. All in all, highly recommended.

The app offers a wide choice of fish, meat and vegetarian, but vegetarian consisted of a large pan of noodles / nasi, and the salad buffet. For dessert there was a wide range, but only the fruit was vegetarian. Something was heated up for me, but I choose a buffet restaurant so that I can choose from different dishes. They could have simply put a pan of mushroom ragout next to the chicken ragout, for example (the pie containers that were there are vegetarian) and you could easily create a vegetarian option. There was a gluten-free section and a halal section, but vegetarian, nope. Something as simple as a sign with the name of the dish and an indication of whether it contains allergens was also missing. Too bad, I expected more for 37.50, - in a brand new restaurant.

We had a delicious meal. Friendly staff. You get everything you would expect from a buffet & live cooking. There is something for everyone. Even though it wasn't that busy, everything was sufficiently replenished.

Uitstekend gegeten bij dit "all you can eat" buffet. Alles was lekker vers en ruime keuze. Heerlijke carpaccio. Lekker vis en bief gehad. En dessert was ook prima. Het is natuurlijk wel belangrijk dat je zelf niet alles tegelijk pakt en gerechten kiest die bij elkaar passen.

Helaas waren er amper allergeenvrije opties. Ze konden niet antwoorden op de vraag of er ergens melk inzat bvb. Ik heb het bij rauwkost en rijst moet houden als vegetarier die geen gluten of melkproducten mag eten. Er zijn zoveel leuke salades of groentensausen die je kan bereiden maar er zat telken vlees of kaas in....

Kwaliteit van het eten is voor de prijs matig. Vooral de hoofdgerechten vallen tegen. Hele simpele pasta en rijst gerechten (inspiratieloos). Hamburger was heel vet, steak redelijk taai (lag er al even denk ik). De voorgerechten en salades maken het wel wat beter. Carpaccio en zalm bijvoorbeeld. Je kan beter ergens anders op het park eten voor veel minder geld.

Bei 34,50€ pro Person gab es nur Tee und Kaffee kostenlos als Getränke zur Auswahl. Das fanden wir ein wenig schade. Zumindest ein Wasser erwartet man bei dem Preis schon inkludiert. Leider wurden wir auch sehr spät gefragt, was wir trinken wollen würden. In der Zeit hatten wir schon Tee getrunken, weil wir so einen Durst hatten. Unsere absolute Empfehlung sind der Käse und der Zitronenkuchen. Das Ambiente lädt zum Verweilen ein. Eine Reservierung vorher ist echt zu empfehlen.

Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Het eten was allemaal lekker vers Met een uitgebreid voorgerechten en desert buffet. De hoofdgerechten zijn iets minder en jammer genoeg lauw i.p.v. warm. Verder is koffie en thee inbegrepen. Niet zo uitgebreid als bv Center Parks maar wel ruim en lekker. Zie foto's.

Der Preis für das Buffett ist absolut nicht gerechtfertigt. Vieles war leer und es machte auch keinen guten Eindruck, sah lieblos aus und war teilweise schon nicht mehr richtig warm. Auf Nachfrage wurde aufgefüllt, allerdings erwarte ich für 34 Euro mehr. Nicht alle Gerichte hatten eine Bezeichnung, so dass man raten musste. Geschmack war in Ordnung. Das Ambiente ist top. Blick in die Savanne. Frühstücksbuffett ist allerdings sehr gut und zu empfehlen. War bei uns im Hotelpreis inkl.

Voor de prijsklasse van dit restaurant verwacht je smakelijker eten. Vrijwel elk gerecht proefde te weinig of te fel gekruid of was al lang geleden gemaakt en begon nogal "oud" te proeven. Bijzonder weinig keuze, enkel zeer speciale gerechten of Kinder gerechten. Weinig keuze qua Aardappelgerechten. Voor kids zijn er wel frieten en frituursnacks.

Prijs/kwaliteitsverhouding is niet goed. Prijs te hoog, kwaliteit te laag. Gerechten zijn koud of worden niet optijd aangevuld, mag niet voor de prijs €34,50 pp. Bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Bovenstaande gemeld bij de receptie, ze vonden dit erg vervelend. Ze verrasten ons met een aantal tegoed binnen voor een uurtje bowlen en een lunch. Top.

Ik was aangenaam verrast door de kwaliteit en variatie van het eten. Ze hadden salades, rauwkost, vlees en vis, allemaal vers en smakelijk bereid. Het buffet was ruim opgezet zodat je niet snel in de rij zal staan. Aan kinderen is om gedacht met poffertjes, patat, frikandellen en kroketten. Maar ook kinderen die niet van de gebruikelijke kinder gerechten houden kunnen genoeg kiezen. Het personeel was vriendelijk en attent, en de sfeer was gezellig. Ik heb genoten van mijn maaltijd en ik zou dit restaurant zeker aanraden. In de vaste prijs per persoon zit water, koffie en thee inbegrepen.

Zeer lekker gegeten in het buffetrestaurant. Er is ruim voldoende keuze! Vooral de live-cooking gerechtjes waren mijn favoriet! De tafelafscheiding met plantjes en de plantdecoratie is echt prachtig gevonden. Het brengt de natuur en de rust in de zaal. Toch merkte ik ook enkele kleine minpuntjes op: - Bij de koude voorgerechtjes is het een geklungel om koude pasta te scheppen over de voorgemaakte bordjes heen zonder te morsen. - Je krijgt niet standaard een dranken/wijnkaart op tafel. - Geen aanduiding bij de watertap wat plat water en wat bruiswater is en ook geen kannetjes om te vullen terwijl de tap daar wel op voorzien is.
