Buitencantine in Valkenburg

Had a delicious lunch here, the food was delicious, and the service was very friendly.

Exceptionally large and very atmospheric location. Not too noisy. Upon arrival, as a group of 20 people, we were given only 4 cheap-looking laminated menu sheets, which made me hesitate for a moment about what to expect, but the names of the dishes looked good, and it was clearly indicated which options were lactose-free. With the first bite of the starter (slices of beef), it was immediately clear that this was the best beef starter I had tasted in a long time. The main course and dessert were also fantastic. Portions were normal, and the taste and presentation were very good. Everything was served neatly at the same time for the entire group. Top-notch! It was a pity that only a few options were available for each course for our group, but that was communicated well, and the remaining options were also the most popular ones. Vegan options were also still available. The extra 50 cents for oats instead of milk was also a shame, but not so bad that it cost a star.

Nice location and good service. But for €14 you should expect a bit more than two simple slices of supermarket white bread with your croquettes... and croquettes are the only thing they serve on Sundays? 😅

A truly beautiful location! We celebrated our wedding here. Everything was perfectly organized, and we had excellent communication beforehand and were guided by the brasserie group. Easily accessible by car and bicycle with ample free parking. Public transport options are somewhat limited, and you'll have to walk quite a bit.

The location is great and the atmosphere was also great, but there was a fish dish that was very salty, which was a shame, the rest of the food was delicious.

A quiet place to sit and have a coffee with a view of the lake.

Invited to a colleague's farewell party. It was a lovely evening and the food was delicious.

A bit messy and no nice background music to enhance the atmosphere. Good quality dishes, but precisely measured for each person in our party, did not really come across as hospitable.

We have been there many times, but today it was a disaster. We ordered a hummus bread and it was not fresh at all. We complained about it and the answer was “sorry”. And that’s was it. They haven’t offended any compensation. We ordered a tosti for a 4yo kid and they’ve charged 11€!!! About the atmosphere it was very noisy.

Semi beach club, 5 stage menu, wine coffee, E56 pp, slow dining, comfortable seats, enthousiast service. Easy free parking.

Here we enjoyed a very well organized party with a very well organized dinner. We were guests for a wedding and were pampered by the staff. Not only because of the snacks, drinks and dinner, but also because of the friendly staff who were adequate and helpful. The food was actually much better than expected. When I think of Italian I often think of simple pasta and pizza, but those were not on the table. What was served was full of flavor, well seasoned, tender, good in structure and actually really (!) tasty. We will definitely return here.

Friendly service and an excellent dinner prepared in Italian style, starters, main courses and desserts served at the table. Celebrated in private with those invited.

Écht lekker eten en vriendelijke bediening. Italiaanse gerechten voorbereid door een Italiaanse chef. Er is geen menu: je krijgt wat de chef vandaag wil maken.

Helaas geen goede ervaring. Uit respect voor de locatie hier geen vernietigende woorden maar het aantal gegeven sterren geeft onze indruk goed weer.

Perfecte locatie, goed eten, superlekker en goede bediening. Oja, en gratis parkeren op een reusachtig parkeerterrein. Dus: aan de prijs, maar dat maken ze waar!

Fantastische avond, heerlijk getafeld bij de Buitencantine. Prachtige locatie aan het Valkenburgse meer. Zeer vriendelijke en enthousiast personeel. Pranzo, een tafel vol gerechtjes met meerdere gangen was heerlijk. Een fantastisch (en gezellig) Italiaans concept.

Heerlijk gegeten en wat een fantastisch vriendelijk personeel. Het voelde echt weer even of we op vakantie waren.

Fantastische ervaring. Fabrizio, de echte Italiaanse kok, heeft heerlijke gerechten op tafel gezet. Verschillende gangen waar je samen van eet. En de bediening was zo enthousiast en vriendelijk. Kortom, heerlijk getafeld en kom hier zeker terug!

Met het team een borrel met BBQ gedaan. Vriendelijk en behulpzame medewerkers. Mooie plek en genoeg eten en drinken, niemand kwam tekort. Zeker een aanrader deze sfeervolle plek
