This is the best fried fish dish I've ever had!!! Visited this place quite few times already. Very strongly recommend!!!

The kibbeling was tasty but they really squeeze their customers... a portion has risen from €5 to €9.50 in a few years and now the sauce is not even included anymore and you pay €9.90 for a kibbeling, not normally more

I loved the kibbeling here so much! The garlic sauce on the side was a little sugary, but the fish is seasoned so well, you don’t even need a sauce. There is plenty of seating around the stall to relax and enjoy your food. I didn’t encounter any hungry birds :)

Omg! I’m absolutely thrilled! This is the best dish I’ve ever had! The cod in batter was absolutely delicious - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. It was prepared right in front of me and served piping hot!

During the meal, there was a seagull watching closely next to him, which made the thick-browed boy feel uncomfortable eating. The restaurant has also put up notices to remind customers to be careful when dining to prevent seagulls from snatching their food.

The herring was delicious but the staff was very rude, owner was talking with a Dutch guy without even noticing my presence, it seems that they don’t appreciate tourists. I’m really sad no to able to put 5 stars because of that.

After leaving the Netherlands, I remembered Kibeling, so I decided to visit again. Kibeling here confirmed that our choice was right. If you stay in Den Haag, you must go and eat at least once every day.

We in Germany have nothing but crap when it comes to Haring. This is the real stuff. It tastes really good and is cheap.

Truly the best address. Super fast service, you can choose your own piece of fish. And the price is more than fair. Be careful, only certain cards pass. I recommend having a Ticket with you.

Delicious, fresh and sufficiently large portions. We had a large portion of kibbeling for €8.50 and that was enough for us as a lunchtime snack. The staff are very friendly and there is a sink to the right of the counter where you can wash your hands after eating. Perfect!

10 out of 10! Such good fried fish (kibbeling) the fish itself was so fresh, the batter delicious and it was cooked to perfection. Lots of choices for occompanying sauces. I only wished the chairs had tables for more comfortable eating.

If you haven't visited the store - you haven't been to The Hague. A must: rolls with herring and onions, fillet of cod fried, all very tasty and freshly prepared. If I had more time, I would definitely have tried all the dishes. Nice friendly staff, nice view. Be careful: cheeky seagulls!

Haring's first challenge..! It's so much more delicious than I thought. They didn't give me a fork because I was supposed to hold the tail and eat it all at once. But I couldn't hold it with my hands, so I asked for a fork and ate it. 😭 It's a shame that I only had one meal because I didn't have much cash (no credit card payments). If I get a chance next time, I definitely want to eat a sandwich.

Top tent! Komen hier meerdere keren per week, leuk personeel. Altijd vriendelijk en gezellig. En het aller belangrijkste! -> lekkere kibbeling en haring!

Als echte hagenees ben ik natuurlijk alle vistenten afgegaan, en is er geen betere in Den Haag dan dat mooie haringkraampie bij de Buitenhof. Service is ongekend, al deze unieke harde werkers die dag in en dag uit voor jou klaar staan met de mooiste humor die je maar tegen kan komen. De pikante makreel, de double dutch, een groot portie kibbeling of gewoon lekkâh haringkie met ui aan een staartje uit de hofvijver, beter kan het niet! Laat je niet kisten bij die gekke Simonis met hun bestje haring van het jaar die ze zelf op een papiertje betaalt laten drukken, want ga je voor smaak en kwaliteit dan ga je hierheen.

Hot kibbeling with souce for 8.50€ is a great piece of soul food. Fresh fish with spices is excellent. A little bit on the salty side bud just on the border. And you always have to be careful of the flying pirates - the gulls are agressive and want to steal your fish.

Kwalitatief goede kibbeling, misschien wel de beste van heel Den Haag, in een zaak met rasecht Haags personeel. Voldoende mogelijkheden om ter plekke te eten.

Nog steeds is Martin Buutveld onze honkvaste Haringpremier! Qua inkoop is hij in dit wat later startende haringseizoen onverslaanbaar. Wat een soepel naar binnen glijdend maatje. Sauer kwaliteit.

El sandwich de este último es un bocado barato, suave, sabroso y razonable en cantidad, pudiendo añadirle sin costo adicional cebolla o pepinillo. Más que recomendable, aunque como los mismos empleados advierten: cuidado con las gaviotas, están siempre alrededor dispuestas a robarte la comida.

Sehr lecker und sehr frisch. Natürlich muss man auf die Möwen aufpassen das sie nicht im Sturzflug den Fisch klauen. Aber das wird auch jedem dort gesagt, von daher kein Ding. Besonders der frische Hering ist sehr sehr lecker. Preis ist auch ok. 5,80 Euro für 2 sehr frische und saftige Heringe. Für mich die besten in Den Haag. 😉👍.
