Great spot right in the heart of Amsterdam. Service was great! Food was very good. Definitely a place to stop and eat when close by.

The experienced was phenomenal from the start. Alena was a great waitress and she even made me a favor, I felt totally taken care of and the good was incredible (her recommendation as well). It was such an experience to watch them work so hard. Totally recommended

I am a regular customer. Today, I needed to wash my hands in the restroom, but the waitress wouldn't let me. So, I told her that I wanted to order some food instead, to which she replied that it didn't work like that. Then, she turned her back on me and left. That is a very impolite way to treat a customer, especially when they are being nice

A very good overall experience. Although we went later than usual lunchtime, the service was very quick and good. The food is delicious and very reasonably priced for being in the city center. The burgers are very large and loaded with toppings.

It's also in a very central location, making it a convenient option for a meal while exploring Amsterdam. A simple place, well-located, and with good burgers. The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and the staff was immediately helpful and took our order, but we didn't count on the food's delivery time. The kitchen was incredibly slow, and unfortunately, we had to leave the restaurant with takeout bags instead of eating in due to a short-notice appointment. It took about 40 minutes for our order to be delivered. The staff apologized, but such a delay is unacceptable; we had to eat lunch on the go. That said, the sandwiches we ordered were excellent, packed with ingredients, and the meat was well-cooked and of high quality. We'll probably return to see if it was just an unfortunate coincidence or if they're just always so slow. Stay tuned!

I've eaten a lot of veggie burgers, and the one I had here was by far the best. The ladies who served us were super friendly and welcoming! A great place to eat without breaking the bank.

Very rude and unprofessional staff.

Unfortunately, my experience at this restaurant was truly negative. After ordering a portion of fries with hot cheddar, the waitress accidentally spilled the cheese on me. My pants were completely dirty, and, more importantly, I burned my fingers. The pain was so severe that I even developed blisters. I should point out that I don't blame the waitress: she apologized immediately and was mortified by what happened. Accidents happen. What truly left me speechless was the attitude of the Italian man at the cashier. When we explained what had happened, he showed no empathy or concern for my condition. Even though my fingers were burned and I was still in pain, he was extremely rude, ill-mannered, and completely uninterested in handling the situation appropriately. An accident can happen anywhere, but how it's handled makes the difference. In this case, there was a complete lack of customer service, making an unpleasant experience even worse. For this reason, while I appreciate the waitress's apology, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

The waitress was very rude she made a mistake to our order and instead of apologise she rudely told that the terrace is closing even though the food was delayed for 1 hour! Not the proper attitude to serve the quests!

I had an awkward experience with an old man what was working there saying that he is a “manager”, he was very rude with me and I could hear he was muttering offensive words under his nose. The food was alright in general.

We had a great experience here with my friends. Food was tasty and location was great. The staff was incredibly kind and attentive, a waitress even asked if I needed help going down the stairs because my leg was broken. And they even filled my friend’s water bottle without asking, they just noticed she was on her way to fill it. Would definitely recommend!!

We had a pleasant meal here in a great location, just a 2-minute walk from Dam Square. The atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable, making it a nice place to take a break while exploring the city. I ordered the burger salad. While the meat wasn’t the best I had during our trip, the vegetables were fresh, the ingredients tasted high quality, and the seasoning was well balanced. We also tried the traditional Dutch meatballs (pictured), which were flavorful and definitely worth ordering if you’d like to try a local specialty. My son loved the kids meal- chicken nuggets and sweet potatoes. What really stood out was the service, the server was incredibly friendly, patient, and accommodating. She happily handled all of our special requests and checked in throughout the meal to make sure everything was to our liking. Overall, while some dishes were stronger than others, the excellent service, fresh ingredients, relaxed atmosphere, and convenient location make this a solid choice when visiting the Dam Square area.

We ate there just before Christmas. The portions are very generous and the food is delicious. The service was also very friendly. It's a bit cramped and can get noisy when it's busy, but that's fine overall. We really enjoyed the music too!

What a pleasant surprise! We went at 10 PM, which was a bit late, but we received excellent service! I had a chicken sandwich and my husband had a hamburger; both were great! It was well worth the visit, and I recommend it to anyone who wants a tasty snack :)

The burgers are good. I ordered a classic burger. The restaurant is big and comfortable, to be honest.

We had different meals as we were 4. The food was okay. However, a tall guy was very rude when I tried to ask for the WC. He responded me with a question asking if I was a customer or not. Even, I told yes, he asked where was I sitting. Then asked the same question to other waiters. This was super rude. He didn’t event apologize. Thus, I’m gonna rate the “service” as 1. The other waitress who took our orders was super nice but this guy has changed my idea forever about this place.

The appetizers we ordered were so delicious! We asked our waitress what they were, and she couldn't tell us (literally because she didn't know what was in them). Haha, but it was some meat with a little something extra... I really liked my burger; the cheeses they use are perfect for highlighting the area's flavors. 🐷💕 A super plus for me as a tourist is that we went around 8 pm and the kitchen was still open! 🌟 The service was very good, although there was a new girl there who seemed reluctant to do things, but the other staff more than made up for it.

Hello, we stopped here for a few beers and ended up staying for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by Josune's kindness and professionalism. We felt right at home, and she gave us excellent advice on our menu choices, leaving us completely satisfied. Congratulations to the establishment for having such professional staff.

Nice atmosphere, beautiful decor, friendly staff, but the food is terrible. The bread was super burnt and hard, the hamburger tasted bad, the bacon tasted reheated, the bread tasted like it had been frozen, and it didn't come with all the ingredients. I don't recommend it.

Honestly a little hesitant when seeing the reviews. However the food was incredible. It was quick, HOT, and flavorful. If your looking for a quick delicious bite, you won’t be disappointed. We had the classic cheese burger, parm fries, sweet potatoe fries and the chicken salad, all was excellent! Can’t go wrong with this place!

My wife and I had dinner here this evening. I had the cheese steak sandwich and my wife had the Danish meatballs, The cheese steak really lacked flavor so I salted it and it was better, My wife said the meatballs were good. We shared the parmesan fries and they were tasty. The service was not very attentive, and they charged me for water which is tacky.

It's so easy to find good food in this city. Burger Bistro is low key, great service, incredible food, everything was spotless. My partner said it was the best burger, my steak was perfect. Fries were crisp and hot.

Hands down the best burger I had in Amsterdam, and even my whole trip, was Burger Bistro. The quality of meat and the cook with those beautiful grill marks made my mouth want another burger right after. The fries are exceptionally good as well and would make this a must visit place if you have a love of steak/burgers.
