Kon esi Baka in Holendrecht/Reigersbos

A few days ago, we got pom and pastie. The pom was absolutely inedible, the tayer tasted raw, with a sharp vinegary tang. Furthermore, the pastie was very salty! As a true pop music fan, I like almost all pom, but not this time! Kong Esi Baka should change its name to "no prakseer fu kong Baka" (don't practice coming back)!

From the outside it looks like a concrete canteen, but inside it's a nice place, friendly staff and, most importantly, very tasty food.

Today ordered 4xroti chicken at the takeaway. When asked cold or warm, explicitly stated "warm". (because there is no microwave available at home) Took more than half an hour before the order was ready. Arrived home 20 minutes later, immediately unpacked.. Surprise!! Everything cold. Bummer!! Didn't eat well. €50 lost and absolutely not a nice dining experience. The roti itself was no more than ok. The massala sauce was quite salty and the potato was meager, salty and cold. I called back to give this as feedback, but the manager/owner did not show in any way that he cared. He offered nothing at all for any compensation and only wanted to hang up very quickly. He did so within 20 seconds. Could you bake?? After this experience.. No could never have done it Moro!

Delicious food! Roti was delicious and so was the noodles with roasted chicken. Nothing to complain about. Service was very friendly. The only downside was that there was a bit of a pit smell near the window. That was less nice.

Authentiek Surinaamse gerechten , hemels lekker! groente goede bite lekker gekruid , kip kerrie was verrukkelijk kip zo mals! de saus ook top. gemberbear drankje is ook heerlijk koud op juiste temperatuur .vriendelijk bediening hart voor de zaak proef je ook in het eten ! toegankelijk en gastvrij. je kan zowel pinnen als contact betalen .ruime zitplaats sfeervol ingericht. raad iedereen aan en tegen de mensen die hier slechte revieuw plaatsen zeg ik wees dankbaar gezegend dat er mensen in dit zaak hun best doen en voor ons koken met liefde én aandacht en het netjes voor je presenteren als je haast en snel eten wil ga dan naar fastfood keten!

Heerlijk eten, voelt alsof je bij oma gaat eten. Huiselijk, goed van smaak en variërende porties. De roti vegetarisch zou ik aanraden, je krijgt 5 verschillende groenten. De bruine bonen met zout vlees, worst, kip super van smaak. Door personeelstekort waren ze eigenlijk dicht maar we konden toch plaatsnemen en bestellen! Kom ik zeker terug.

Ik haal hier altijd op woensdag biryani kip, want dan is die in de aanbieding. Je moet wel even wachten, maar het zicht op een paar mooie Hindoestaanse dames maakt alles goed. Het smaakt me altijd heerlijk.

Lekker authentiek Surinaams eten

Pensioen feest van een collega gevierd. Alles was goed 😊 en we hebben genoten van het lekkere eten 🧡

Na een lange reis van 260 km ,moesten we familie afzetten in Reigersbos. Omdat we honger hadden en al 21:10 uur was zochten we een restaurant om te eten. We kwamen gauw bij kon esi Baka uit. Restaurant zit op een mooie locatie, we zaten bij het Raam. We werden vriendelijk begroet door een leuke hindoestaanse dame ondanks dat ze bezig was. Ook legde ze keurig uit hoe de de menu kaart werkte. De Javaanse dame die ons bedient had was ook top. Mijn vrouw wilde haar overgebleven nasi meenemen en dat wasook geen probleem, ze gaf ons ook bakken om mee te nemen. Ik geef alleen het eten 4 sterren omdat de bami iets meer warm moest zijn en meer gekruid. De kip bij de nasi was lekker gekruid.Ik had nooit eerder bami met tilapia gegeten , dit was een bijzondere ervaring. De tilapia was uitstekend gebakkenp. Jullie hebben een klant erbij helemaal uit Denhaag. Jullie toilet was schoon dat zie je niet vaak in restaurants. Ga zo door!

Laatste 2 x gehaald, 1 x lang moeten wachten mensen die later bestelde gingen eerder weg, blijkt dat ze de bon niet aan de kok gegeven had. De roti was de laatste 2x ook niet lekker de dijfile was hard (taai) en de aardappels waren bijna puree. Vrouw die bestelling opnam was hectisch en niet echt klantvriendelijk terwijl het niet eens zo druk was. Jammer dacht dat ik een goed roti restaurant gevonden had maar helaas!

We haalden vaker wat bij Kon Esi Baka, maar ik denk dat we voorlopig niet meer komen, want het personeel heeft mot onderling voor het oog van klanten... Mede daardoor is het personeel kortaf naar klanten, gewoon onvriendelijk. En de belangrijkste reden..? Het eten was voorheen goed, maar blijkbaar hebben ze een nieuwe kok? Het eten is niet meer Surinaams waardig. Thuis maken we het beter.

Slechte ervaring, ruzie tussen personeel schelden op elkaar waar klanten bijstaan. Personeel loopt weg zonder iets te zeggen en komt gewoon 20 minuten later terug, laat klanten onnodig wachten. Sommigen moesten bijna een uur op de bestelling wachten, nieuwe klanten werden niet geholpen en zijn de deur weer uitgegaan. De meneer die de bestellingen op moest nemen stond er alleen voor want de kok was ziek naar huis gegaan, de meneer die het eten moest verzorgen was boos en stond te schelden en gaf geen antwoord op vragen van klanten. Kinderlijk gedrag en onprofessioneel. Het was een bizarre vertoning, zeer onprofessioneel!! Het eten was lekker, alhoewel ik de verkeerde bestelling mee heb gekregen, jammer dat dit zo is gelopen. Absoluut niet nodig geweest, als het anders was aangepakt.

Wacht tijden zijn enorm lang en nogal chaotisch Eten is wel ok maar veel gerechten zijn snel uitverkocht waardoor de keus nogal beperkt is

Heerlijk gegeten! Goede roti en ook de bami was heerlijk gekruid. De peper apart maar ook zelfgemaakt. Het restaurant ziet er prachtig uit en service erg vriendelijk. Hier komen we zeker weer als we in de buurt zijn!

Perfect gegeten in een mooi restaurant. 1e klas authentiek Surinaams eten. Gezellig personeel en gasten. Niet duur, schoon. Onze nieuwe afsluiter van een dagje Amsterdam.

Kon Esi Baka, step your game up please! Het kan niet zo zijn dat ik een uur van te voren een bestelling plaats voor afhaal, en jullie in de tussentijd andere bestellingen die in de winkel geplaatst worden voor laten. Ik bestel toch niet voor niets van te voren om af te halen? Kom ik daar aan, krijg ik een vaag antwoord van de dame achter de kassa “ik weet niet hoelang je bestelling nog zal duren hoor..” Daar koop ik letterlijk niks voor, dus je wilt mij zeggen dat ik voor niks naar de zaak rijdt om vervolgens met een leeg antwoord naar huis te gaan? Heb mijn bestelling ter plekke geannuleerd.
